Michael is wonderful! He was very professional and very easy-going. He did a great job staying "behind-the-scenes" and not being overbearing. The packages are such a great value! Just the basic package (which we ordered) includes an engagement picture session and 8 hours of coverage on the wedding day, PLUS digital copies of all the pictures. You can also purchase a CD of edited photos, where he applies different filters and other special effects.

On the actual photography... we got SO many compliments. The color is so bright and vivid in our outdoor pictures it seems surreal! Michael's company name, "Digital DREAMS by Michael" is 100% fitting.

If you want absolutely gorgeous photos at a great price, set up a meeting with Michael!

Michael and his crew were as profesional as can be. His artistic abilities came through immediately with his ideas for different shots and the knowledge of what can be done in the digital world. Very easy to work with and talk to and we never even noticed him getting all these wonderful shots through out the night. We were on a budget and he was able to totaly exceeded our expectations of what can be done.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

I do offer a special package that features myriad digital enhancements and special effects including but not limited to color to black and white, partial colorization, texture and motion filters.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?

Yes I do have the experience and equipment for shooting in various lighting situations including low lighting such as very dark cathedrals or reception halls.

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

How many photographers do you work with?

Just one, myself, though I often employ assistants.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

I only book one event per day. One wedding per weekend.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes, of course. To not do so would be foolish.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Proofs available on-line within 1-2 weeks of the wedding.

Additional Advice

My best advice is to plan ahead and communicate with your photographer. No wedding day ever goes precisely as planned, but obviously the more time you allow for photographs, particularly the most important, bride and groom portraits, the less chance there will be of running out of time. Time that can never be recaptured.
