We cannot say enough wonderful things about Duane! We first worked with him for our engagement shoot and after seeing all the amazing shots he captured, we knew he was the photographer for our wedding.

Duane has great ideas and an eye for the perfect shot. He was so pleasant, professional and courteous. He is reliable and dependable--we highly recommend him. He captured so many beautiful moments during our engagement shoot and wedding. We are so grateful to have found him. We also highly recommend his “ring of fire” photo booth— our wedding guests had such a blast in the photo booth.

My husband and I spent a lot of time picking out our photographer. We had even met with something and did a personality and style assessment, which totally didnt work. The outcome was not even our style of shots at all. I had found Duane's profile and portfolio online and I immediately fell in love with his photos.. They're fun, emotional and tells the tale of the that special day. He was awesome with emails and getting back to me. He arrived right when he said he would and got right to work. I has spoken with him on the phone a few times to touch base and just go over questions and he was always there to tie tips and pointers. Duane was great and I can't wait to get the photos back.

Duane was great! We shopped and meet with over 30 photographers for our day. It was well worth it to find Duane. He spent so much time with us for our engagement pics, unlike others we talked too. They said they would only shoot us for one-two hours. We got all the locations and styles we wanted with no time limit. He was professional and best of all we love our pics. Everyone is so moved by his work. I think he is best in the business. We were so relieved to meet Duane and refreshed by his work. The ring of fire photo booth was so much fun and my friends all love the pics and made them their profile pics on Facebook. It was must better and more affordable then the rental photo booths. He even uploaded them the next day! He defiantly captured our day the way my husband and I envisioned. Very reasonable prices and great results! Very satisfied…

DUANE WAS AMAZING! He was extremely flexible and was able to get a package that worked for our budget. He answered all of our questions quickly and thoroughly and spent a great deal of time discussing what we wanted for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. Duane and his second photographer Daniel were great to work with. They were really funny and made taking pictures fun. Both our engagement photos and our wedding photos turned out better than I ever expected. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely book Duane again!

Duane was great. Loved the photos we've gotten so far, can't wait to see the rest! We used him for our wedding as well as engagement photos. Very detail oriented and kept us on track too during the wedding as far as time. Definitely recommend doing a first look for the wedding!

It gives me great pleasure to be writing this review about Duane to express our gratitude for the beautiful work during our engagement shoot and during the wedding. The engagement photographic proofs were beautiful and given to use so quickly, which made us really happy since we were dying to see and share them with loved ones. Our engagement album was beautifully done.
We appreciated the way Duane met with us, to plan out carefully the kinds of pictures to be taken, and we appreciated the helpful suggestions he made along the way.

At the wedding itself, his professional, organized manner helped us to enjoy our big day. The sheer number of formal and informal portraits he took, and the overall quality, were truly impressive. He is very affordable and his work is immaculate!

Okay! So prior to my wedding, I have never EVER given a review to anyone. But after the "incredible" experience you live as you are preparing your wedding and searching for venues, vendors etc and having found those vendors; I truly do feel I want to do this for the GREAT vendors I was blessed to have for my wedding. And definitely, DUANE was one of them. I was so concerned at first, not knowing who to choose as my photographer, since there are so many out there. However, when I came accross Duane, I fell in love with his work. I knew I wanted him to do my wedding pictures, that I would cherish for the rest of my life. I booked him almost an entire year in advance. Some may think I was crazy, for I actually signed my contract and booked him w/out actually meeting him!!!. But he was so responsive and attentive over the Email and telephone. He made me feel like we were friends, and not just his client, and confident that I would get beautiful pictures. And I thought "his work speaks for itself". (that's how much I felt I could trust him ) As we approached the wedding, he was in constant communication with me, wanted me earlier than my Make-up artist had arranged for, just so that "I" wouldn't miss out on any important pics. He arrived earlier. He was wonderful. I could not have chosen anyone better than him. I'm so Thankful I did. My husband and I and our family and friends love our pics and I will have beautiful memories to cherish forever. DUANE IS AMAZING!! He is a responsible, dedicated professional and you will LOVE his work. Because of budget reasons, I almost did not get his Ringlight Photobooth, but oh my GOD, I am SO SO SO glad I did. That ADDED so much fun to our reception. My guests LOVED it. Totally and 100% better than traditional booths. And he is so GREAT, I couldnt believe that he had them ready the next day, Sunday, in a FB gallery so that all my guests could see them. That was so much fun and created so much energy, with everyone wanting to see their FUN, FUNNY, DUMB, ADORABLE looking pictures. GREAT GREAT GREAT ! Wedding planning is a stressful process. However, one part of the wedding planning that was not stressful was choosing our wedding photographer. We met Duane at my brother’s wedding. He did such a great job with his wedding that we decided to choose Duane as our wedding photographer. He’s a very talented photographer and produces great work. We loved our engagement book and all the pictures he took for our big day. He captured many great moments and we are able to cherish these moments through our wedding album. He’s also a very patient photographer and is always open to work with us. Our wedding day started at 7 in the morning and didn’t end till 11 and Duane was there throughout the whole day without any complaints. Also, a few days after the big day, he sent us a couple of sneak peeks of some of the pictures he took and it was amazing and we could not wait to see the rest. All in all, I would highly recommend Duane to any of my friends and family as a wedding photographer. He produces beautiful pictures, very accommodating and his price is very reasonable. So, what are you waiting for… make an appointment with him! =)

Duane takes beautiful pictures! I haven't even seen all of them and already everyone is raving about what a wonderful job he did! Duane and his assitant are easy to work with and really have an aesthetic eye for beautiful pictures. Hire Duane if you want really special and wonderful pictures for your Wedding! My pictures were up online the afternoon after my wedding so I could take a look at some of them. I would definitely hire him again. =)

We also had the Ring Light at our wedding. We had a great time dressing up with our guests to take pictures. Plus, Duane edited the photos really quickly so I could include copies in the thank you cards. Your guests will love it and the quality of photos surpasses the actual photo booth options that are out there.

There are a lot of good photographers with quality work out there to choose from. It was important to us to have someone that made us feel comfortable and had a pleasant personality. Duane was that person.

Duane is amazing! He is an incredibly gifted photograpgher who really knows & excels at his craft. We loved working with him & he's a great person. We did a simpler version Engagement session & our wedding with him. We also had him provide the "photobooth" which is a specially made ring light at our reception, which was a HUGE hit & well worth the extra cost!

My photos are fabulous. He edits them in ways that are really great.

Our wedding was at a church first then traveled to an outdoor venue for the reception. While some of the photo locations were not exactly ideal (for ex. in the office of my pastor is where a lot of my pre-wedding shots were taken with my girls) he managed to make very special, very beautiful photos within a very ordinary room.

the photobooth was in a gazebo. He provided the backdrop (simple black) and some great props. I added in some of my own props. He set up the whole thing and my guests and my husband & I had a great time in there! I have hysterical, fun photos to cherish from this.

Duane is such an amazing photographer! He photographed both my engagement session and wedding (2/5/11). After long searches on the internet for a photographer I found Duane who not only had great pictures, but whom also was very affordable and wouldn't cost me my whole wedding budget!

It was fun to work with Duane and his quirky personality, his mischievous smile and direction makes you wonder "what is he making me do?", but in the end his pictures are truly beautiful. This was the case of our engagement photos at the beach where he had us pose on spiky rocks "ouch" and even got himself soaked head to toe when a wave caught him in 40 degree weather!
Now that’s dedication!

He was always very prompt in getting back to me if I had any questions and always sent pictures back so quickly. I didn't even have time to wonder when I am going to get them.

Duane is awesome! I just got my wedding photos from him (just got married 2 weeks ago) and I am so incredibly happy with them! He is very easy to work with and knows his stuff! Takes his time with each pose and makes sure he gets what hes looking for. We also got our engagement photos taken by him, he spent about 5 hours with us, we went to 3 different locations, and we had 3 different outfits. I shopped around for other photographers before finding Duane, and just about every photographer had an "engagement special" of 1.5 to 2 hours in one location, one outfit. Duane spent the whole day with us at our wedding, he started at about 10am and left at about 9pm! He didn't miss a thing! I highly recommend him, I've received tons of comments on my engagement photos as well as my wedding photos! I will definitely be using Duane again for any special events in the future.

I love Duane's bold use of color and his artistic eye. Our pictures are very bright and happy - exactly what I wanted. He also made everyone feel totally at ease, and the result is very natural looking photography.

Duane's unique style of shooting and professional attitude was what we received on our destination wedding at Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. From the long layover on his plane ride all the way from California, Duane's lack of sleep and jet-lag did NOT compromise his professionalism one bit! My wife and I were really impressed by his energy and motivation to take the photos for us!

Our day started out with the separate photos of us getting ready, groom then bride. Lots of details were taken into account with lighting and lens/settings. As a photographer myself, I know it's important to shoot with manual settings and adjustments every shot since the lighting can change with any angle. He did just that! Every shot was checked on the settings with aperture/shutter speed and focal length.

For the ceremony, he got the crucial and most memorable moments but not getting into anyone's way! We never even really noticed him there at all! All the family and group photos were excellent as well, taken in both cloud cover lighting and direct sunlight.

The following formal photos and reception photos were again excellent with taking attention to what we'd want but also his suggestion of his usual photo cycle. ISO was kept to a minimum as to not create too much noise, which was absolutely great! Even though the D3 and D700 can take up to 6400ISO without issues, he never went above 2500 ISO!

For the "trash the dress" shoot, we shot outside of the resort and with the grungy places we went, he made them into awesome photos that you would find in museums and resort brochures! Cool poses and backgrounds with the local people made the pictures extremely unique!

The most important part that Duane did for us was the fact that he included the original .NEF files and also his adjustments made, using Lightroom catalog. This is what makes or breaks a photographer. With the availability of the original .NEF files, we were able to create our own effects and export/re-size photos without quality degradation and send them off to a professional printing company with excellent results! Without Duane's Lightroom catalog, our prints wouldn't have turned out so great!!

Without a doubt if anyone asks us which wedding photographer we would recommend, we won't hesitate for a second to mention Duane Peck. He made our wedding into a memorable photo package which we can look back anytime for the rest of time together!

Just take a look at his website and you will see how great of a photographer he is. Very fast to response to his emails and to get your pictures to you. I love all the pictures he did.

Duane is a joy to work with and takes absoutely wonderful photographs. He is very prompt in communication, highly professional and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer. I found Duane while obsessing online looking at wedding pictures. When I came upon his site I was immediately taken by the way I could feel the joy in his pictures. After a couple of conversations where he asked about us as a couple, our style, what we wanted for our pictures and such, we booked him for our wedding. We had our engagement shoot in July 2008 and Duane spent about 6 hours with us wandering around Los Angeles taking great pictures. I had even asked for some shots with a grafitti wall and he went out of his way (literally over a giant fence and some railroad tracks!) to get the pictures I was looking for. On our wedding day Duane brought an assistant who was a doll even though she was terribly ill and we did it all again. He is truly an artist and highly recommended by myself and my husband.

Duane was a little bit of a diva at the wedding, he would get annoyed if people were in his way or distracting him at all, however, once we received the pictures, we realized why. His photography was AMAZING!!!I absolutely loved the pictures and so has everyone who has seen them. His assistant was also very nice and a very good photographer. We interviewed several photographers and all of the other ones that were of his quality were between $5500 and $7000. I would definitely recommend Duane Peck of Digital Studios for wedding photography.

I was absolutley amazed at the quality and beauty of the photographs Duane and his team took.They turned out far better than i could have ever imagined. They completely understood what I wanted and delivered! I was also amazed by how many pictures they gave me! Everybody has been asking who took my photos. I would highly recommend his servoce to anybodyseeking to have the highest quality photographs at a resonable price. He was very easy to work with and his whole staff was nice and flexable to my needs on that day.
