Dine by Design is the most fabulous catering business ever! Besides having very delicious food, Kim Pitchford is a wonderful businesswoman! Very quick to reply to emails, calls, etc. Very in-tune to all the anxiousness of brides, mothers of brides & wedding planners! A must for a successful wedding or party.

They were amazing! They made the food we wanted for the price we could afford and it was amazing! They were so professional and happy while serving too! Love them and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer!

In planning for a destination wedding I found it hard to get people to respond to my inquerys; that was until I found Kim and her staff at Dine by Design in Florida. Within ten minutes of sending an email I recieved a call back and we began planning a menu that would please the masses.

We started our planning way back in March and at one point I was worried that Kim was gunna tell me to get lost because we kept changing everything around week to week...but that wasnt the even close to what happened! Kim never ceased to amaze me in her willingness to help out and make sure that everything was absolutly perfect!

The food was to die for. From the hour derves to the entrees everything was just perfect. We ordered a lavish fruit and cheese display, shrimp cocktail and loved the fact that the tails were already taken off (much easier for clean-up), crab cakes, and my favorate the chicken cigars. After the cocktail hour, I was thinking how can it get any better...Well it did! We had a wild island boar, jerk chicken, a black bean and rice salad, and a tossed salad that had my taste buds going crazy!!!! All of our guests were pleasently pleased, as some of them are hard to lease I was excited that Kim got it right for everyone.

I also want to give a big hand to her staff. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for almost ten years now and I have never worked with a staff that truly just had it all going on! I would love to mention names, Kim knows who they are!

All and all I dont think that you can go wrong in any way shape or form with going with Dine by Design! From the very beginning of planning stages until the staff cleaned up (leaving the kitchen cleaner than they found it), everything was perfect. Kim and staff we thank you so very much for all that you did inorder to make their special day all that more special and less stressful!!

My husband and I were truly blessed to have Dine by Design provide the catering in our Seaside wedding. They responded to all of our emails in a timely manner and it was a joy working with them when discussing our menu options! Their staff was extremely friendly to all of our guest and even catered to all the bride and grooms needs during the reception. Their food was absolutely amazing and delicious! We had a seafood and asian-filipino inspired menu.... and all our guests were delighted and wanted second or THIRD helpings to the buffet!
I would gladly work with them again in the future.

Kim was great to work with, very easy going. Her food was fabulous! I had so many compliments regarding the food, saying it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. The mac n cheese pops and crab cakes were the best. Also, the shrimp with the patron shots were a hit. Everything was so good and her staff was great!

I cannot say enough good things about Kim and Design by Design!! The food was fabulous, both in quality and presentation and the staff was helpful and professional. I live in PA, my daughter, the bride, lived in Tallahassee and the wedding was in Destin...planning the wedding was no easy feat! Kim made everything so easy, and was always prompt in answering my many questions. When putting together the menu, our choices were limitless!!! From traditional to very unique selections. We had so many compliments on the food!! Dine by Design is THE wedding caterer to choose!!

Working with Kim was a wonderful experience. She put up with many e-mails from me until we arrived on a menu. The resulting meal was delicious! Her service staff were also friendly and helpful with the setup on the big day. Would definitely recommend!

By far this was the easiest decision throughout the entire planning process! Kim and her team are outstanding in every way. The food was amazing - to the extent that people are still talking when they gloat to others who couldn't join us for the wedding. The mac and cheese lollipops are legendary, don't miss them! Kim is a true professional, quickly responding to the few questions I had and anticipating issues and solutions before they became issues. She is such a pleasure to work with and we're looking forward to crashing the next event she caters when we're back in town! :)

Kim with Dine by Design was Incredible. The food was absolutely divine. She was flexible, able to make anything we requested, and prepared & executed the best wedding food i've ever experienced. We were so pleased with the fun-loving, professional, helpful, and flexible Kim. Our tasting gave us a look into what we could expect at the wedding reception. We changed one entree, and were very happy with the results of that change. Everything from pre-wedding drinks to buffet was delicious. Everyone from the vegetarians to the hard core carnivores was delighted.

This was a rehearsal dinner and we wish that Dine by Design had done the main event. They came into a beach house and set up unobtrusively. they responded to requests from the mother of the groom and each of the invited guests. We were delighted!

I fell in love with Dine by Design from the start when I read their unique menu ideas and yummy food. Kim was WONDERFUL to work with. We emailed so frequently, and she helped answer all the questions I had as an inexperienced bride. She helped us come up with a menu that perfectly fit our no-fuss comfort food style.
The food was phenomenal! All of our guests kept commenting on how delicious it was. Her staff was friendly and helpful. This is, without a doubt, the best caterer in the area!

Dine by Design did an amazing job catering our wedding. We met with Chef Kim and she listened to what we generally had in mind for our guests. We had DBD do stations, including bbq and churrasco, and our guests absolutely loved it (especially the bbq). They were attentive and efficient the day of, and I am so happy with the result. Chef Kim is also so easy to work with and was very responsive during the whole planning process.

Given the diverse age range of guests along with all their discerning tastes, everything from the Memphis Martinis to the Tequila Shrimp was a hit! Presentation was colorful and unique - setup, service was smooth & flawless. Staff was exceptionally accommodating!!! Highly recommended!!

Dine by Design’s food and presentation is top notch. All of the items served at our wedding reception were superb however the Grits River is what everyone was raving about! Yum!
In addition to their great service, my Groom and I were surprised to find that we would have a personal attendant to tend to all of our food and beverage needs throughout the reception. Tex, our sweet attendant, was extraordinary! He allowed us to mix and mingle with our guests but would check in at any point our glass was getting low or would simply just bring us a refill without us ever having to ask! Just Tex himself should get 5 stars!!

Kim at Dine By Design was wonderful to work with. Her food selection and menus are very diverse. She has something for every one and if you dont see it on there, she is willing to work with you to create exactly what you want. Her food speaks for itself. At the end of the night, every one was raving about how we had the best food at any wedding reception they have ever been to!

First off, let me say our food was EXCELLENT. Dine by Design came so highly recommended that we opted to not have a tasting due to the expense and lack of availability on our part so there was always a bit of hesitation in the back of my mind on how the day would actually turn out but it was everything we hoped it would be. Kim went back and forth with us multiple times to help us get the right menu in the right budget. Her staff was on time and professional and did an excellent job on the wedding day. The reception was held in my sister in law's very expensive top of the line kitchen and she was thrilled at how clean and neat they left everything when they were finished. Every table we visited during the wedding told us how amazing our food was. We had a live action paella station, a pasta station with 3 different sauces, grilled veggies and grilled chicken and a masted potato bar with beef tenderloin. The only thing I wish had been better was the coordination with the rental company. We had to coordinate the rentals through Kim and our wedding planner and it took FOREVER to get final quotes that were correct. I didn't fault Dine by Design too much for that, though, because I believe it was the rental company who dropped the ball. We paid for the wedding ourselves and didn't have a final quote until 6 days before the wedding. By the wedding day all that stress was forgotten, though, and the food was just fantastic. Also, the bartender was excellent! He had a great personality and really added to the evening. Look no further for a great caterer for your event. You won't be disappointed!!

Working with Kim at Dine by Design was amazing. When we first met Kim, she was direct and to the point, yet also creative and fun. It was the perfect mix we were looking for! She was able to come up with unique ideas, such as serving pirogues since my husband's side of the family is Polish, while providing options that fell within our budget. The food was delicious; I wish I could've ate more! My husband and I have joked that next time we're in town we will have to order 2 servings of our wedding menu again.

Kim and the Dine by Design staff made our wedding spectacular. She designed the menu to have a southern flare which is exactly what we wanted. The food presentation was amazing, and everything tasted great. The staff was very professional and the whole night went off without a hitch. Kim at Dine by Design was 'user friendly' from our first visit. There were samples for us to try and all of our questions were answered. Being experienced, she told us that we would have many more questions during the months of wedding planning and to feel free to email or call anytime. Each time we did, a response came within 24 hours. Having said all that which really just covers the business part....the food was amazing. The presentation was wonderful, but the quality was even more so. Everyone wanted to know who catered and our guests from Spain loved the gazpacho. I wish I could go into detail about specific things each person had to say, but a sample would be, "that was the best (fill in the blank) I have every tasted." We heard that a lot. The one other thing you worry about when providing food is that you don't run out. We had a little left over, so trust Kim with your numbers; she knows her stuff.

Kim thank you so much for the wonderful food and service on our wedding night. Your staff was truly amazing and very professional. The food was excellent and everyone loved it... my fav was our salad, the fried green tomato topped with crab! Dine by Design was great to work with through the whole process. Kim responded within hours whenever I had a question. We also really enjoyed the tasting as well.

The food at our wedding was MOUTH WATERING!! My husband and I were really particular about the food and focused a lot of attention and time towards this area of the wedding. After many emails and brain storming with Kim, we came up with the perfect menu!! Our guests are still talking about our food and how it's the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Everyone loved the little sliders we had passed on platters at the end of the night for a "Night Cap". The staff was perfect and so gracious to our guests. Everything was DELICIOUS!!!!

Kim and her staff made our wedding the most amazing event. In my past experience, it has been typical that if you have great food, it might not be presented in the most creative way, and vice versa: you might see a creative presentation of the food, but it might not taste so good. Kim has perfected the union of divine tasting food coupled with unbelievable presentation. Every last guest at our wedding raved about how terrific the food was AND how unique and creative the presentation was. Kim made everything so easy-from selecting our menu items based on pictures as well as some sampling to arranging our rentals. She has set the bar extremely high and we are grateful for all that she did to make our wedding so perfect...and delicious!!!

DINE BY DESIGN was fabulous!!!!! Picking out the food was so much fun.. as you looked at the presentation pictures and heard the explanations of the foods , it made you hungry. We were the most excited to see and taste all the foods we selected. The individual plating of the selections was creative and entertaining for the guests but the taste was more exceptional. Kim made our wedding food something to always remember about our wedding reception. We highly recommend her food, her work, and her staff.

I interviewed several caterers before choosing Dyne by Design. Kim was the only one who really listened and painted the same picture I had in my head of what I envisioned our wedding to be. She was very proffesional and detailed oriented and listened not only what we wanted in regards to the food, but also in regards to the mood of the wedding. She was always very prompt in returning phone calls and e-mails. Must I add that although she is more expensive than some caterers out there I think it was totally worth it. The food, the presentation of the food and the service were fantastic and my guest couldn't stop talking about it. I would highly recommend them anytime!

Aside from my wedding coordinator, Kim was the most professional and timely vendor I worked with when I planned my wedding from Chicago to the Gulf Coast. When you're planning details long distance you really begin to appreciate fast email responses and detailed quotes that reflect all of your phone conversations. Kim was all that and more!

Coming from a foodie town like Chicago, I went in without the highest of expectations for a wedding caterer in a smaller FL beach community. Myself along with my 80+ guests were blown away by her food! Not only is she very creative in her cuisine and presentations, the food itself couldn't have been tastier! I received so many compliments on her menu and how flavorful everything was.

I can honestly say I took the time to eat and can also vouch for how yummy everything was. The biggest hit was the chef-attended paella station with huge shrimp, clams, mussels, etc. Everyone was saying they'd never had paella at a wedding before it was the perfect beachy-fare to serve. If you book Kim and DbD make sure you sample all of her creations on your big day!

Dine by Design was very professional to work with -- offering great menus and willing to change/add when needed. All my emails were answered promptly. Each question I asked was answered individually, eliminating any confusion. My invoices were itemized and totaled. They handled all my rentals for me (what a help!). The crew was prompt, efficient, friendly, and professional. All the food was presented in an attractive manner and was all TOP QUALITY. If I ever again have an event in their area, I would never hesitate to call on Dine by Design. I give them 5 stars in every area.

The Mac & Cheese lollipops were a huge hit! And the creme brulee was to die for!

Their presentation was beautiful and I don't ever remember seeing an empty tray. Her staff was incredible and a ball of fun to work with.

I wanted to try something a little different than the traditional sit-down dinner or buffet, and the staff at Dine By Design was more than willing to work with me on it.

Dine by Design was selected to cater the rehearsal dinner held at Rosemary Beach. The entire process was handled long distance, as both families reside out of state. There was never one moment of panic, as Kim handled every part of the process, from the initial selections right down to that actual serving of 61 guests with the utmost care and concern. The team that served was professional and courteous, the setup and breakdown was timely and the food was scrumteous. What more can be said, except "thank you" for being a special part of our memorable weekend!

Excellent choice!! Kim and her staff did a wonderful job on the food for our wedding reception. It not only tasted wonderful, but it was beautiful as well. Working with Kim was very easy and flexible. She totally went beyond our expectations. Our guests raved about the food the whole night and they are still talking about the desserts!

We had a great experience from start to finish. During our first meeting, Kim sat down with us and discussed our expectations and desires for our menu. She then designed a menu just for us, no cookie cutter menu. She was very open to suggestions. Even though she made a customized menu, the price was very reasonable (more so than many of the "cookie cutter" menus in the area). The food for our reception was absolutely delicious. Guest still rave to us about the food! An added bonus is in her presentation. Our photographer took numerous pictures of the food because her presentation is so great and original. There is not a single thing that I could rate as a negative. You will not be disappointed in Kim and her staff.

Delicious, delicious, delicious! Thank you Kim for all of the wonderful food!! The guests were raving about it...especially the sushi, crabcakes, and margarita shrimp/tequila shooter! The salad bar was also a hit. I wish I had some macaroni 'n' cheese lollipops right this second!!!! And the beef tenderloin was to die for..I could keep going on and on! Can you tell we loved it?? :) I was very impressed with it all! Would definitely recommend to anyone - great job!

wedding EVERYTHING she wanted. You worked to accommodate all the changes,
making certain that the menu and rentals were perfect for the occasion. I
have had so many phone calls, emails, and comments about how delicious the
food was and how wonderful your staff was.

Your staff worked tirelessly to make certain that each guest was made to
feel special and their needs accommodated. To my knowledge, there was
plenty of food for all, even the shrimp. And, I can tell you they were
incredible. The Martini Bar received rave reviews and I had to sample each
one.

I have been to a lot of weddings and I have to say your presentation and
food quality are second to none. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious!

Kim's food was absolutely delicious, and I love the way she presented it. It was beautiful! I even got a picnic basket in my room later that night so i could take more time to enjoy the food!! I would definitely recommend her catering.

It is my pleasure to share the incredible experience my husband and I had with Dine by Design Catering. Kim catered two meals for us - rehearsal dinner and reception. We wanted food that appealed to a variety of pallets and did not have a 'banquet feel'. Both meals were inspiring. The food was fabulous and the presentation was whimsical and charming. From our first meeting, Kim was flexible and fun, providing us with great ideas and cost options. She was responsive and thoughtful throughout the process. Her staff was graceful, efficient, and delightful. At the end of the day her food is TO DIE FOR!

Kim was beyond wonderful!! She had us from the first day we met her with her enthusiasm and obvious love for what she does and making your special day all it can be. She made the whole process of deciding our dishes for the rehearsal dinner and the reception so easy and fun. Yes we hired her for both. Her patience with our indecisiveness was beyond measurable. The hard part was deciding which of her fabulous menu items to choose from, they all looked incredible and made your mouth water just reading the description of them. She was so intuitive about reading what mood we wanted to set for both events which was fun, fun, fun and really geared our menu to attain that mood and it worked!!! Everyone had such a wonderful time and absolutely raved about the flavor of the food and the quirky and whimsical ways of displaying it, not your boring ole' humdrum set up but a true sight for the eyes of the beholder. Her creativeness, sense of humor, passion and talent all shine through with every dish she concocts. y guests are still talking about it!!! Her staff is incredible and very professional, you hardly knew they were there with their discreetness and respect for the guests. Trust me, I did my research on caterers in the area and hands down this is the lady to go with for all the right reasons to make that part of your special day worry free, fun and oh so flavorful!!!

The food was AMAZING! I have never heard so many compliments about catered food. The food was displayed amazing and the food didn't taste like the typical catered buffet crap! Not cheap but definitely top quality and tasty!

Dine by Design did a wonderful job of making our wedding evening absolutely amazing and seamless! The food, the staff, the bartender all went beyond our expecations. We recieved so many compliments from our guest on how great the food was not only in taste but in presentation. People were still mentioning it at a family gathering we had this weekend, a month later (especially the chowder in the shot glass with the little corn muffin on top). There were also mulitple compliments about how discrete the staff was when serving and cleaning up. You almost didn't realize they were there. When they left the house you would have never known we’d had a dinner for 35 only a few hours before. The kitchen was spotless! It was so nice, as the bride, to have absolutely nothing to worry about except what flavor of cake I would like.

If anyone ever asked for a recommendation on a caterer in the Destin area, hands down, I’d give this company.

Kim and her staff are incredible! She totally indulged our carnival with a southern twist theme. Nacho cheese fountain and all;) I'm still getting calls about the lobster corn dogs with watermelon ketchup.... YUMMY!! Oh and lets not forget waking up to Dine by Design leftovers post wedding hangover. If only we could have wedding dinner every weekend.

Kim is a talented chef and will work with you to design a menu that reflects your unique expression and palate. Our guests finished ALL of the food. The food was also presented in a very unique and beautiful fashion. I would highly recommend Kim and would use her again for future events!

Kim's work is fabulous! We didn't get to eat at the reception but everyone kept talking about how amazing the food was. So, when we got back to our room and was able to taste what all she and her staff had prepared we were floored. It was sooo good!

Thank you for being a part of a wonderful "wedding weekend'. Our family enjoyed a wonderfull, delicious rehearsal dinner and wedding "feast" that was prepared by you and your staff. We were served delightful dishes, several that we have "craved" since returning home. The fried chicken was out of this world and this is from someone who lives in Kentucky, home of KFC-no comparison. The potatoes and green beans were perfect. At the wedding dinner, we loved the presentation and the wonderful taste of each course. I have yet to locate Alabama sushi here, but I sure it would not be as good as what you served. Our son's marriage was a beautiful memory and you certainly added to our experience.

Grits bar was a BIG hit!! Even the "yankees" in the party loved it! Very delicious and very artistic presentation of the dishes. Would be nice to be able to use a credit card for payments.

The food was excellent. I would describe it as upscale compfort food.

don't understand how kim got such good reviews. food was at best average and served cold. even had a piece of raw chicken. also, there was poor communication before the wedding and any correspondence was initiated by me. always seemed like an intrusion with responses often almost sarcastic. not a good experience at all.

I met Dine by Design at the Junior service league" Mistletoe Market" where they provided the menu for the Preview party..all I can say is yum!!! The food was wonderful and the presentation amazing! My favorite was the Butternut squash soup!!

Dine by Design has some of the most original food displays I have ever seen and her fried macaroni and cheese lollipops are to die for! We love the creativity her menus have to offer and she is always willing to customize her menus to fit any couples budget and needs.

I just LOVE Kim ! For my Grand Opening event, I choose Dine by Design to handle the catering. Unfortunately for Kim, I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do or have as food.
