The DJ Crew played my cousin's wedding last September and did an amazing job, so I knew (even before we got engaged) that they would be DJing our wedding. They are FAR from your typical wedding DJs - they really work to keep the crowd on the dance floor and keep everyone in party mode. Jeff & Kevin did a fantastic job of making sure that we were taken care of, that our requests were being met, and that we knew what was going on for every moment of our reception. Our guests raved about how great the DJs were, and I have recommended them to numerous people.

The weather was crapy but Phil & Zack helped the guests and my wedding party forget about the cold!

Before the wedding John was great about helping me with questions through email or phone (even if it was 11pm and my original dj backed out!!!!)

Any time or place I had a question or concern or just being a bridzilla..lol...The DJ CREW was always there for me!

Our wedding was a huge success, thanks in large part to the awesome DJ service provided by DJ Crew. Kevin was the DJ for our wedding and kept the crowd engaged throughout the night. They talked with our daughter and her fiance a few days ahead of time to understand the types of music they wanted. Kevin talked the wedding party through the schedule for the evening and gave us pointers on how to set the tone for a fun evening. Then they provided relaxing music during dinner followed by one song after the next that got the majority of our guests out on the dance floor for a good part of the night. Everyone had a wonderful time.

These guys were great. Set up all the paperwork online which is nice and convenient for us people that work crazy schedules. They called us a few days before the wedding and went over everything with us in person which was nice and made it easier to go over the flow of the night. It was nice to see 2 guys show up in tuxedos to a wedding!!

I chose The DJ Crew after speaking with and meeting with several local Cleveland/Akron DJs. By far, The DJ Crew was the most professional, knowledgeable and reliable. They promptly returned all of my calls and answered my questions, and even when the lead DJ had some personal issues, he was transparent about what was going on but never let it affect the quality of services he provided.

We worked with John and Andrew, and they took care of everything before and at the wedding. John made sure everyone's names were pronounced correctly - and that I always had a drink in my hand! I would recommend The DJ Crew to anyone, especially for a mid to large sized wedding.

The Dj Crew, dj'd by wedding sept 16, 2011. They deserve more than 5 stars...The day started off behind and as a bride i was stressed out but Phil and Zack were great!!! Phil, played everything that i can remember wanting as well as some requests. They both were awesome, providing constent entertainment as well as the perfect transition between dinner to dance music. AFter some of my older crowd the party kicked up a notch and they were amazing. One thing my mom loved was the fact she could actually here people at her table, since my mother isn't a dancer lol. They cordinated everything and I didn't have to worry about a thing!!! They gave me everything i could hope for in my special day. Thanks to The Dj CREW and to especially Phil and Zack!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They also provided my ceremony music..so thanks bunches!!!!!!

Our reception was perfect!!!! Jeff and Jeff did an AWESOME job!!! Very professional and kept the reception moving, exactly like we asked them to! We wouldn't have changed a thing!!! Worth every penny!!

DJ Crew was great. Just before our wedding they changed the way they do the pre-wedding meeting from a face to face meeting to a survey type thing online. Although the online survey was convenient I believe things might have been just a bit better if we still did the face to face.

I would recommend them to any friend who was looking for a DJ. We had a blast and they played a great variety based off our survey.

John K. and his DJ partner were amazing for our wedding! They went way above and beyond what I thought was required of a DJ, all very gladly. John was professional, entertaining (not cheesy), and classy. I was very picky about a DJ, because I've been to weddings where the DJ can make or break the mood. I've seen some very cheesy DJs or just bad service, forgetting to introduce bridal party members, introducing the groom by the wrong name, etc., so I wanted to be sure to get a good, reputable DJ for our wedding. We saw John K. and the DJ Crew at another wedding the year before ours, and liked them so much, we booked them right away! They played great music all night long, and kept the dance floor packed. They even helped to hold my train as I prepared to walk down the aisle, and carried it over a puddle for me, so it wouldn't get wet! They coordinated with our ceremony musician (even though they were only hired for our reception, not the ceremony), giving cues to him when my dad and I were about to walk. As an added bonus, they were a ton of fun and very personable! Highly recommended!

A-MA-ZING. We wanted a party and the DJ Crew gave it to us. When we told John we wanted the biggest and best entrance ever - he dove right in. He coordinated with our lighting team, mixed a special version of the song we came out to, helped my bridal party set off sparklers and even sent us youtube videos to help us choreograph our dance moves. It set the mood for a good time - and that we did. The moment I knew they were genius - the dancing crowd was at a lull and the DJ Crew knew exactly what to do. They put on "Hang on Sloopy", the crowd immediately picked back up for an endless night of dancing.
Dedicated? Yes. Fun? You betcha. These guys get 5 all around.

The DJ CREW deserves more than a 5! They said they would keep the guests dancing and they did! My husband and I did not have to worry about what event was coming up next; It was coordinated for us! They even helped us out with getting the jello shots from the kitchen when the hall wouldnt give them to my maid of honor! They were great and fun! Many thanks to The DJ CREW!

I really lucked out by finding this company. I couldn't have asked for anything better! John is a fantastic dj. He listened to all of my suggestions, and offered his own when mine were a bit off. (and by the way, he was spot on!) He was also very good about taking requests, and ignoring the really bad ones- lilke Highway to Hell that was suggested by a recently divorced friend. ;) Everyone, including my mother, complimented me on my choice. They all found him to be a good leader, and very interactive, without stealing the show. We were very pleased, and would readily recommend The DJ Crew to anyone.

Phil and Jake were great- professional and perfect with every detail and request. They got the party going and kept it going! John was patient getting my must-plays organized, considering I gave him the wrong song titles! They even found an amazing live version of our last dance song "If I should Fall Behind."

These guys are awesome, and extremely flexible! John is fantastic, and really knows how to treat his clients. They have a fantastic online system, so you can make sure you enter all of your important information (song ideas, how often to play certain types of music, etc.) so your DJ is prepared for your meeting the week of the wedding. My guests didn't stop dancing all night -- and the guys did a great job of running the show! Great pricing for what they offer. Definitely check them out.

I had the DJ's Kevin and Aaron and they were absolutely amazing. I thought that they did a wonderful job, they not only had all my guest up dancing and having a blast but they checked in with me all night to make sure everything was going according to the way I had always dreamed it would since I was a little girl. I would recommend these two men to anyone they did a fantastic job. So well in fact the wedding party in the hall joined to our had there guest coming over to dance. at the end of the night I just didn't want it to end.

The DJ Crew was awesome!! I was a little bit nervous leading up to the wedding because the DJs are somewhat hands-off (you basically fill out a questionnaire of the songs you would like to be played, and then your lead DJ calls you the week of the wedding to confirm). But, everything went off PERFECTLY at our reception. The DJ repeatedly checked in with my husband & I to see how our night was going, if we needed anything, etc. The song choices were spot-on too. There was actually a time early in the reception when the DJs started a song and guests left the dance floor, so they actually stopped the song and put something else on that guests came back out and danced for. My husband & I were extremely impressed - as were our guests who stayed and danced until after midnight.

The DJ crew have been my friends for several years. I knew they were great providers, but was blown away by the great job they did at my wedding reception. Not only were the constant professionals, but they also knew exactly what to do and when, and made the night an enjoyable and unforgettable time for not only my husband and I but also for all my family and guests.

I can't say enough great things about John and the DJ Crew!! Every time I talked to John on the phone, it was like I had known him for years, he just makes you that comfortable. At the wedding, I was feeling pretty ill and he was fantastic in handling me. He went WAY above and beyond the call of a DJ, including bringing me ginger ale when he saw my glass was empty.

They kept the party going by playing awesome music all night long! I would definitely recommend John and the rest of the DJ Crew to anyone who asked (or didn't ask).

I’m writing to let you know how unbelievably, completely, utterly, totally, 100% HAPPY we were with our experience with The DJ Crew!!. Kevin and Aaron worked our wedding on Saturday April 30th and words cannot even describe how great of a job they did!!!

I spoke with Kevin on the phone the Wednesday before our wedding for an hour and a half. He was so thorough, helpful and open with his opinions and ideas - he really set my mind at ease and gave me one less thing to worry about as far as the reception was concerned.

The day of the wedding, I knew we were in for one heck of a party the second we arrived at the reception site! They helped get things started with a crowd pleasing grand entrance and after dinner kept the dance floor packed ALL NIGHT!! By the end of the night, I had seriously lost count of the number of people who told me our DJ was AWESOME!!!! Our goal for our reception was not only to make it a night that WE would always remember, but also a night that our GUESTS would always remember and compare all other weddings to in the past and future. I know that Travis and I will never forget it, and judging from the comments of our friends, I’m pretty sure they won’t either. So....mission accomplished!

We had Kevin and Aaron as our DJ's for our wedding, and they were absolutely awesome. Kevin was extremely thorough before the wedding and made it so much easier on us. They listened to our requests and truly made our reception the best it could be. All of our guests keep asking about our DJ and keep talking about how great they were. Kevin had the dance floor packed the entire night and almost all the guests were still there at the end of the night! I highly recommend this company and Kevin as the DJ.

We have nothing but praises for John and Jeff of the DJ Crew! John was extremely thorough and easy to talk to! He was enthusiastic and helped pump up the parents and bridal party for our entrance into the reception! He even helped us orchestrate and pull off a prank on the father of the bride! These guys were great! We couldn't have picked a better DJ for our wedding. I had many of our wedding guests comment on how awesome the DJ was. Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone I talked to.

Great service! The DJ's were wonderful and people were dancing all night. They added so much to the "regular" wedding routines. Everyone commented on how good they were and how much fun the wedding was. These guys are great!!

Our experience with The DJ Crew was EPIC... guests are still talking about how fun and entertaining our wedding reception was! We highly recommend having DJ Crew for any event :) Our DJ John was completely professional and had everyone out of their seats and on the dance floor. Not only did they rock all the music we loved- they ran the show making our day even better! From the planning stages to the end results- DJ Crew paid attention to detail along the way make suggestions and planning a reception specific to our venue and tastes. We were pretty disappointed with the DJ Crew, had heard great things about them but I guess it all depends on which DJs you get. We had Jeff and Tim J. We spoke to them the week of about what music we wanted played and one thing was requesting more Jack Johnson/Jason Mraz type during dinner, instead they chose to play slow music from the 80s/90s. The DJ changed the music halfway through when I asked but we noticed the music was bad so we would have enjoyed it if it was good. He also didn't play songs we had requested during the dancing, and we didn't request a lot so it shouldn't have been so hard. When I realized we were close to the end of the night and they still weren't playing songs we had requested I went up and asked him, played the first (Journey) with no question and everyone loved it. When I asked him to play Sweet Caroline (which is actually our song, which I had told him earlier in the week) he said they were planning to have 'Shout' as the last song. Um, what? Seems like a weird choice, and I told him to play Sweet Caroline instead. Everyone seemed to have the most fun dancing to the songs I had to insist on that night, wish they had played the other two songs we had requested!
The DJs were personable and did a good job making the change from the dinner to the dancing, but we paid them to play music at our wedding so they should have played what we asked for. The owner, John, does a great job explaining and selling the DJ Crew but he's not there for the wedding so it's all which DJs you end up with.

My husband and I loved our DJs. We got a good deal because we got married on a Friday, but their normal fee is very reasonable. They also have a strong referral program that will give you further discounts, if you use it. As far as their services go, I thought they were wonderful. They did everything I wanted and took care of tons of stuff I hadn't thought of. And they were extra-creative for me, too. I didn't have any good ideas for a song for the cake-cutting, but since my husband is Swedish, I thought they could just play a clip of the Swedish Chef from the Muppets, or something like that. So, they mixed a special song just for us using music and clips from the Swedish Chef. I thought that was great. And they were willing to play lots of Swedish music that we had burned onto a CD and brought with us. Somehow, they just worked it all into the mix and kept a great tempo to the evening. Kevin was the lead DJ, but he also had a second DJ there to assist. We were so satisfied with how Kevin guided the evening and he made sure that we were comfortable and calm at every point. That was worth quite a bit, itself. And all of our guests thought it was a really fun time! In the end, we were very happy to have chosen The DJ Crew.

John and his assistant for the evening Aron, were amazing! John was the only DJ we met with and we knew they were going to be great by our first impression. We talked a couple days beforehand and went over all the important songs and timing for everything. John also used his creativity to help us with our introduction and our awesome garter/bouquet toss, people keep talking about it! John really knew how to get the crowd going. The dance floor was never empty and everyone kept saying to us "your DJ's are awesome". I will continue to recommend the DJ Crew for years to come.

Kevin from the DJ Crew, along with Aaron his assistant, were amazing!!!! They really took interest in what kind of "mood" we wanted to create for our reception. They played what we wanted them to play and didn't play what we didn't want played. They also really got the guests involved so that the dancefloor was packed during the entire reception. The DJ Crew was terrific to work with from the time we interviewed them to the day of our wedding!

we had john and andrew as our two DJs and they had the party going all night!!! guests kept telling us how awesome they were and how much fun they were having dancing to all the songs! not only are these guys AMAZING DJs, but they will help you with other things you need too! they got me drinks, they made sure everything was coordinated with our other vendors, and they really just wanted to make sure our special day was as special as it could be! they were just completely awesome, and so great to have be there on our wedding day! highly recommended :)

The DJ Crew made my wedding reception go smoothly.. They asked us when we were ready for each event, gave us time if needed, and coordinated with the caterer and photographer to let them know what was coming up.. It made me able to relax and go with the flow because I knew they could handle everything.

Jeff and Jeff from the Dj Crew dj'd our ceremony and reception. They did a great job at the ceremony helping our coordinator Heidi and of course playing the music we wanted. At our reception, they kept people on the dancefloor all night with great music! Great Job! Highly recommended!

My daughter was married Saturday April 24,2010. Kevin was our DJ. I cannot express how impressed I was with his performance. We danced all night. All of our guests were saying how this was the best wedding and reception they had ever attended. I want to thank you such a wonderful evening. They were great! They kept the guests dancing the whole night. They were so organized by contacting me before the wedding and finalizing the events of the wedding. Anything I asked for, they did without question. I loved them!

I have to say I was a bit disappointed... I actually acquired The DJ Crew because I was a part of the bridal party at a wedding that they DJ'd the year before. I was very excited at first because I thought, "Yes, I'm going to get what I want!!" They are very detail oriented with the "events" of the night. But I was very clear from the beginning that I wanted country music and no rap... when my guests requested country they were very disappointed to find out that they didn't have particular songs (alot of them!)... but plenty of rap-like music! All this after being told that they were sending this particular DJ because he was their "country" DJ. Other then that I would recommend them for your event... just make sure to clarify what you want and what you will not tolerate.

Wonderful, fun, & professional DJ service!!

I wanted a DJ that would "run the show" and that is exactly what our DJ did. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. It was wonderful.

Our DJs were Phil and Tyrone. They did a great job with all announcements and the Grand Entrance. The only reason I gave them a slightly lower score is due to the fact that I asked for rap/r&b/hip hop to be very limited and it was played INSTEAD of a song my husband requested (Tyrone forgot apparently). Additionally, two of the songs we asked for (out of maybe 5) were played before the bridal party ever got inside and another was started as everyone left the room for an outside fireworks show. A couple of guests commented about the DJs drinking some wine, but I didn't notice nor was I bothered either way simply because they weren't acting under the influence at all. We felt that their prices were a smidge high for what we got, but I can't hold them entirely accountable because our guests had such varied tastes that making everyone happy would have been impossible.

The DJ Crew is awesome! I am so happy that I had them for my wedding! They really REALLY "made" the whole evening.

They kept people of ALL ages on the dance floor for the entire night, which really came as a surprise to me, because I didn't really have a crowd that I thought was going to be really into dancing.

Frankly, I thought that people probably wouldn't actually stay for my whole reception, because many were from out of town and/or older and/or (so I thought) non-dancers, but people didn't want to leave, including my husband's 92 year old great grandmother (!!!). Also, keep in mind that the majority of the out-of-towners are from 9 hours away in East Tennessee, so I'm talking about a serious long drive.

Everyone had a great time, and people are still raving to me about how good the DJs were the day of the wedding, but what really impressed me was their very thorough work with my husband and I in the time before the wedding. They were always professional, listened carefully to our likes and dislikes and helped us plan an evening that really suited our sense of style. Plus, I felt a lot better going with them than with some other local companies, because 1. they actually put their DJs through a training program, and 2. you get 2 DJs so there's always someone "on the mic" so to speak even if one DJ is coordinating stuff with the caterer/photographer, or in the bathroom, or whatever.

So far I have been very pleased with my experience with my DJ. I went to a preview at another person's wedding and they did a great job. I personally do not like doing previews, it makes me very uncomfortable, but I think the DJ is really what created the good mood atmosphere at a wedding so it was my top priority. I had worked as a caterer before and I could always tell when the DJ sucked, and when they were a home run. Mine is going to be a home run, these guys are so on the ball.

We had a great experience with the DJ Crew. They were very professional and were careful play exactly what we wanted. They did a wonderful job keeping everyone on the dance floor as well. All our guests said they had a great time and that the music was great. I would recommend the DJ Crew to anyone I know getting married.

DJ Crew did a great job with our wedding and it was everything that we had asked and more. They got our guests excited and the dance floor was packed the entire night. John did a great job finding out what we wanted for pre-ceremony, ceremony, and reception. John and The DJ Crew were a fabulous pick for our wedding! From our first introduction at the 2007 bridal show, to our last dance, everything was perfect! The DJ Crew handled every meeting and situation with a sort of professionalism that is rare in this day and age..keeping in touch with us through the whole process, from questions in our contract, to our play (and do-not play) list, to handling special songs that I recorded for my husband, and some unruley reception guests. The customer service and character of The DJ Crew is in our opinions unmatched by any other company. No question about it, The DJ Crew is the BEST DJ service around!!!! Definately a class act!!

The DJ Crew did a great job with our wedding. They had people dancing all night. I would have liked a little more input on the timeline and flow of the evening, but they did a nice job improvising. The evening flew by!
