DJ Jimmy Jam came highly recommended and our expectations of his services were very high based on these recommendations. He not only met our expectations but exceeded them with his professionalism, organization of the wedding reception, and song selection. My wife and I are strongly recommending his services to both our family and friends.

Jim did a fantastic job from the beginning of the event to the end. All of our guests commented very favorably about Jim. He was very attentive to our needs and made sure that the whole event went smooth. We would recommend his service to anyone.

DJ Jimmy Jam is awesome! I couldn't believe all of the great comments we got from all of our guests. Seriously, everyone we talked to during/after the wedding had something nice to say about our DJ. Every single person at our reception danced. Even people that I never thought would dance were. Everything moved so smoothly thanks to him and his experience. When you look for a DJ you are looking for the most important part of your celebration. Yes the food and drink is important but good food, good drink and a bad DJ makes a bad party but average food and drink and an awesome DJ makes for a great party.

I looked high and low and had many choices for my DJ last night to work my post wedding reception and I saw that Jimmy Jam had excellent reviews but truthfully the name screamed "20 years ago". Sorry just keeping it real. I was worried because my party was a mix of cultures, ages and backgrounds so not everyone can handle this.

Folks there is a reason this man has been in the business for 20+ years make no mistake. If you let him run the room and do his thing he shines and makes a memorable night even more memorable. I had my doubts but feel embarrassed now that I ever questioned his ability. Straight shooting here people, this man is an entertainer and will take a boring party and make it exciting, an exciting party and make it epic.

I spent a lot of money on flowers, catering, photos and the location and Jimmy Jam was worth more than all the others. He showed up at noon and worked until 10 and then cleaned up for less than any other vendor we used. He should bump his rates today! Sorry but the man earned his money and has a partner that was a great addition to his show and yes folks he puts on a show. That scared me also but I loved the show and I am not easy to impress so trust me you won't go wrong with this DJ, I would bank my reputation on it.

As part of making preparations for our daughter's wedding reception of earlier this month, we were seeking the services of a DJ to perform at the event. While attending a relative's wedding reception last year, we found that person. It was DJ Jimmy Jam!

We scouted, examined, and auditioned if you will, many such performers at numerous events in recent months. We were not quite sure exactly what we were looking for, but we were quite confident we would know it when we saw it. Such was the case with DJ Jimmy Jam. His enthusiasm, showmanship, and obvious love for his work were quite evident throughout his performance.

The problem was that the reception at which we came across DJ Jimmy Jam was several hundred miles from where our daughter's reception would be held.

Since you never know unless you try, we tried. To our immense pleasure, (and relief), DJ Jimmy Jam agreed to render his services at our daughter's reception.

DJ Jimmy Jam, along with assistant from his father and best friend, Papa Jam, put on the kind of performance we had hoped for, and expected. They kept the crowd enthused, involved, and most importantly, extremely entertained. Their tribute to our country's military veterans was well received by the entire crowd, bringing tears to the eyes of many. It was just one memorable moment among an evening full of them.

Jimmy was great - he had a variety of music that was good for all ages. He also had some great performances and included the guests in them. I would recommend him to anyone that needed a DJ for any occasion.

My family and I really liked DJ Jimmy Jam. He was very personable and he put forth a lot of effort to involve everyone that was at the wedding. He catered to our wants and needs. We gave a list of certain songs that we wanted to be played and he made sure to play those for us. He is very entertaining and brought people to the dance floor who would normally sit in their chairs the whole night. We loved him!

Our reception was the best. People were dancing the whole and night just having tons of fun. DJ Jimmy Jam gets everyone on the dance floor for a fun night to always remember.

If you want your guests at your reception to laugh and dance all night pick DJ Jimmy Jam! The props, jokes, songs and everything else were amazing...I could not have picked a better DJ! We also used him at the ceremony to work the sound system for our ceremony music and he did a wonderful job!

He worked with our request list to put together a great set that had the dance floor packed all night. DJ Jimmy Jam did an excellent job!! He was the life of the party and did so much more than the average wedding DJ. He found fun and interesting ways to get the guests involved and we've had so many people compliment us on the entertainment! He truly made it a very special evening for both us & the guests!!

I felt rushed through our dinner because DJ Jimmy Jam wanted to give us two complete hours of dancing, which is a good goal to have, but we didn't get to walk around the tables and greet our guests. Some left before we had a chance to talk to them! There were some problems with communication (mostly because I let my husband do the planning with this vendor! :-P), which led to some unnecessary songs, people who got singled out who for anxiety issues who should NOT have been, and him planning for being outside after we planned to be outside under a tent. My husband didn't share this change with him, so I felt that Jimmy Jam was a little unprepared for the venue which we were in and we couldn't hear the microphone because of the lay-out of the rooms.

There were a lot of things there that couldn't be helped and were faults of our own so to be fair, DJ Jimmy Jam did put on a great show! He played a LOT of the songs that we requested and once the party did get rocking, he kept it going until the end of the night. The costumes, dancing, and props were pretty funny. Our garter ceremony was hilarious, in large part due to his prompts for crawling and using teeth ;-).

You'll have a good time with DJ Jimmy Jam. Just make sure to think about your venue and the order of your reception. What do you think the flow should be and what should come first? I didn't really know and I wanted more direction, but he was so willing to please that I felt like he wouldn't give me guidance, which I wanted. Ask questions, get information, get everything figured out ahead of time, alert the vendors to changes with your plans, and check up on your future spouse to make sure he's doing what he should be :-P. Enjoy the planning!

I worked with DJ Jimmy Jam for the first time in Fall 2011. He was FANTASTIC!! He knew how to use the volume on his equipment and didn't blast the music just because it was on. His skill at balancing the music to the appropriateness of the wedding was spot on... IE - softer during cocktail hour when folks were talking and having conversations, and really hopping when it came time to dance.

His music for the ceremony was so well done, I asked for his card, and wrote myself a reminder note! His look, his personality, and his work is super, and any couple would be lucky to book him for their special day.
