David listened to our ideas and gave several suggestions that led us along the way. We had DJ Bruce for our wedding and we could not have asked for a better DJ. He met with us for both meetings, came to us before the reception to verify he had everything the way we wanted it, and he was on point ALL NIGHT!! Throughout the reception, he came to us several times to let us know we were getting ready for certain dances, cake cutting, etc and just stopped by to see if we were ok or needed anything! We had David Orlando as our dj for our ceremony and our reception. He was highly professional and organized as well as fun and energetic! DJ Orlando was AMAZING! I wish I could give him a higher rating than 5! We were (and still are!) so thrilled that we chose him as our DJ as he was professional and knew how to keep the party going and going all night long! An amazing option he has is on his website, you can go through every song he has available (although he will happily add any song you suggest!), select ones he must play, might play, and DONT play and it will submit it to him electronically! He already has "most popular" song selections for dancing, cutting cake, first dance, etc. so it made our life so much easier :) In addition, DJ Orlando brought a second "set-up" for our dining room & played great classics so we were never without music. I would 100% recommend DJ Orlando. You will NOT be disspointed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust me! If you are debating between band and DJ - the pictures from our wedding are proof enough that this DJ knows what he is doing.

David of Orlando Entertainment and our DJ, Rusty, were just perfect. David and Jessica were communicative, helped us greatly with planning the timing and final music selections, and extremely easy and fun to work with. Their recommended DJ for us, Rusty, fit us and our wedding perfectly and did an amazing job, even when we had some day-of changes due to certain guests. There's not much more to say: they did a perfect job and we would recommend them to anyone!

DJ Orlando himself DJed our October 1, 2011 wedding. David was responsive from the very beginning. Because we live in Alexandria and he is north in MD, we did our first consult with him via phone. We knew right then that we wanted to use him. He just knows his stuff. He's personable and friendly-just the kind of DJ you want at your wedding.
He was always responsive to emails. We did our final consult with him at his home because we wanted to meet him face to face. Again, we knew we made the right choice. He is just a nice guy!
On the day of, he was like another wedding planner-making sure that we had everything we needed and that we were having fun. The night ran very smoothly and we got SO MANY compliments on him and his music choices. In fact, I've already given his info out to a friend. One of my greatest memories of our wedding was when he played "Come on Ride It" by the Quad City DJs. Yes, it's old school. Yes, it's cheesy but was everyone in that room dancing??!! YES THEY WERE!!! It was just surreal how much fun everyone was having. It was one of those moments when I just looked around and was beyond happy. David is great at reading the crowd and I guess he just knew our crowd would love the "choo-choo" song-lol! We had a small wedding (about 95 people) and knew that not everyone would dance, but those that did had a blast. And, we owe it all to David and Orlando Entertainment. Book him NOW!!! Amazing!

Rusty was the DJ for our wedding. He did an absolutely amazing job. We gave him a pretty extensive MUST PLAY list for the dinner hour and he played every single song! For the dancing music we had a few must play items and he did a great job filling in with music that matched our taste. He kept our crowd dancing the entire night. He even managed to get my cousins - who refuse to dance at weddings, up on the dance floor with a couple old school songs. All our guests had a great time and I didn't have a single complaint!

We used DJ Orlando Entertainment for our reception, and could not be happier. Before the wedding we dealt with David and Jessica, they were both very professional and did everything they could to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. During our reception, DJ Bruce rocked the house. DJ Bruce was very professional and read the crowd perfectly to ensure the best music was played. He kept the dance floor filled the entire night. We hired DJ Orlando Entertainment to DJ our 8/5/11 wedding reception and were so incredibly happy with the decision! When I started looking for a DJ I heard horror stories about never meeting your DJ in person (or not meeting him/her until right before the wedding), the DJ not having your music, not being personable, etc etc. I see the DJ as being the key component to a smooth and fun wedding reception, so I wanted to make sure that we were 100% happy with who we chose. We met with the 2 owners of the company and a potential DJ in person very soon after we first contacted them. David went over the contract point by point which I really appreciated, gave us a demonstration of the equipment that would be used at our reception, and introduced us to a potential DJ (who we ended up choosing, though we were told we could choose any of their available DJ's). I really liked that we were able to meet the DJ right off the bat. Our DJ was Bruce - highly recommend him! He showed up early, gave the reception a really great energy, played AMAZING music, got everyone out on the dance floor easily, was completely organized...I can't praise him enough. Before the reception we had a 2nd meeting with Bruce and David to go over the timeline (they essentially created it for us because we had no idea where to start), made suggestions when we asked for them, and made sure we were completely comfortable with everything before we left. You can't go wrong if you go with DJ Orlando Entertainment, and don't forget to ask for Bruce!

Personally, I dont know why anyone would choose anyone else. Not only are they great DJ's, they are extremely affordable and flexible. We had DJ Bruce who was very professional and really kept the crowd going and kept us on schedule, which was something I did not want to worry about and didn't. David and Jessica are also a pleasure to work with, we had a payment issue and they were super patient and kind while we worked through it and I just don't think you would find that with other companies. Use DJ Orlando!

David Orlando was so great to work with. He asked us when people were requesting songs that he thought we might not want to play. He asked if we needed anything when we started dinner. He played all the songs we loved and just kept the party going. Definitely use him. Our reception was basically one big dance party. Awesome! He pronounced everyone's names correctly and everyone said they had a great time.

We had the best DJ! He played our songs, none of them were messed up, and he played some other great songs too. I got compliments on him talking to our guests and making sure people were happy with the music. He was there every minute, making sure we got what we wanted, and telling us to let him know if there was anything we needed. We had David DJ our wedding and we are so glad we did!

Orlando Entertainment went above and beyond our expectations. When researching DJ’s we came across numerous personalities and egos, but when we sat down with Orlando we immediately felt a connection and could tell they were just normal, down-to-earth, nice people. Dave, his wife Jess, and our DJ Rusty were easy to deal with when setting up appointments and handled all our last minute curve balls we threw at them with flying colors. Rusty was an AMAZING DJ and cannot give him enough compliments. During the event we never felt like he was over MC’ing the event or over stepping his boundaries. A lot of our family and friends came up to us afterwards and complimented Rusty saying that he seemed like one of the family and was extremely nice and pleasant to interact with. Everyone from Rusty to Dave to Jess took a lot of care in ensuring that our wedding was really something special. THIS IS THE DJ YOU WANT!!!

David was our DJ and he was great! He was extremely helpful through out the planning process. He listed to what we wanted and made that happen. He really helped us achieve the wedding we wanted. He was also great about keeping us on time, which is something I really appreciated! We had a unique song that we wanted played during our entrance to the reception that we couldn't find anywhere. Somehow, David found it and it was one of our favorite moments of the night. If you are looking for a DJ that will listen to what YOU want, look no further!!

David Orlando of Orlando Entertainment provided the music for our wedding ceremony and reception. David and Jessica could not have been any easier to work with! They were organized and so helpful in helping us work through our timeline of events and the process of selecting music. They have a great selection of songs on their website for choosing just the right song for each part of your reception! We liked how we were able to select several songs and artists we definitely wanted to hear and they choose the rest based on our ideas. When David and Jessica met with us the second time, they helped us iron out the details in the timeline, made sure they knew how to pronounce everyones' names, and took their time to help us find the exact version of several songs we were looking for. That meant a lot to us. On our wedding day, David did an amazing job! We loved how he announced the events and kept the reception flowing. Everything went so smoothly. He really made sure everyone was having a good time and the music was exactly what we were looking for! Our guests enjoyed themselves as they danced the reception away! My husband and I would highly recommend Orlando Entertainment! If you are looking for someone who really cares about making your day special, David Orlando is the DJ for you! Excellent!

Our DJ, David Orlando, was incredible! He handled the ceremony music, including the singer who played the guitar. My guests came up to with many compliments about the reception and dance music. He kept the dance floor packed and took care of all of our requests, including finding a Chinese song for the father-daughter dance. He also surprised one of my bridesmaids with her special birthday song - she was absolutely delighted! Everything turned out great!

I met Jessica at the Baltinore Bridal Show 2010. From that moment to the last minute of my wedding reception Orlando Entertainment was so easy to work with. I can't praise this company enough. Dave & Jessica know how to run a business. Rusty was out Dj. I would recommend these 3 individuals over and over and over. Very down to earth!

David and Jessica Orlando were wonderful to work with! My sister used David for her wedding 3 years ago so I knew how great he was. During our first meeting, we clicked with them and knew we had found our DJ. David really "got" our style of music and followed our request list perfectly. Throughout the planning process, David & Jessica were both always available to answer any questions that we had. A few weeks before the wedding we added a wireless microphone for our officiant and my father-in-law wanted to sing us a song at the wedding and it was no problem.

During our wedding he kept us in the loop and adjusted our schedule of events as needed. We got so many compliments on all of the music during our ceremony, cocktail hour, an reception. He definitely kept us on the dance floor. I highly recommend Orlando Entertainment!

Orlando Entertainment was absolutely wonderful. They are a pleasure to work with, easy to talk to when making arrangements, and they are accommodating. We had a lot of unique music we wanted at our cocktail hour and they were so accomodating to us. We also added an extra hour to our wedding reception because we love to dance and wanted to party, and they played the best music all night. So many people have come up to me to tell me it was the most fun reception they have ever been to, and that they have never seen that many people out on the dance floor for that long! A big reason for this was the awesome dance music. They played all the songs we requested beforehand, as well as adding fun songs that were perfect for the crowd we had.

I highly, highly recommend this DJ service!! They will accomodate you and make sure you get the kind of music you want, and were professional and really nice people to work with. If you want a fun night, make sure you book them!

Absolutely amazing level of service from David Orlando and is wife, both of whom DJed our wedding. They went above and beyond the call of duty, organizing the events of our reception and making sure everything went smoothly. Mrs. Orlando even went so far as to drive to the store to pick up more mixers after the bar ran out! Orlando Entertainment was very easy to work with and I love the music catalog. They also were able to get the music for our processional and father-daughter dance that I requested that was not in their catalog.
Our DJ Laura was great! She was laid back and friendly and my guests had nothing but nice things to say about her. I think she helped give our wedding the relaxed and fun vibe that I was looking for.

David Orlando was our DJ and he did a fantastic job. We met with him and got a detailed introduction to his business model--it's great if you're looking for lots of documentation and planning ahead! (Hint: easiest way to make sure everything goes great). There's a large paper packet to fill out and you confer with him to go over name pronunciation etc. a few days before. On the day of, we used microphones at the ceremony site and DJ at the reception. The equipment was professional and worked perfectly. He was there early, courteous, and very helpful when anything disorganized broke out (ie. how to line up for the bridal party entrance). He played all of our must-play songs, including several cultural dances that we provided the music for, and kept our guests on the floor all night long. The people at our venue told us they hadn't seen people having this much fun in a really long time! He got my mom to dance like a crazy person which is a feat in itself! Great mix of motown, 80s, and modern stuff--all while respecting our do-not-play list. In short, I highly recommend DJ Orlando!

Orlando Entertainment was an extreme pleasure to work with.When myself, my now husband and my mother met with David Orlando for our consultation we didn't sign a contract right there. We went to the car and all decided that we just had a really good feeling about him. We called when we got home to book his services! I want to take this opportunity to write what I think is a well deserved positive review for Orlando Entertainment's services for our wedding on May 1st, 2010. Right from the start Dave from OE went out of his way to help us out. Our original dj turned out to be a flake, and with a month remaining till our day, we were freaking out as to what we were going to do. We found OE on theweddingknot.com, and got in contact. He assured us not to worry, and what followed were very professional and helpful correspondence through email, phone and eventually in person. Our dj's name was Rusty, and he played a great selection of music, had everything set up and ready to go for both our ceremony and the reception, and conducted himself like a true professional. Jessica came with Rusty to make sure everything went smoothly, and became our de facto coordinator, helping with many aspects of the reception. They worked well with us, were very professional, respectful and most importantly, left the fun to ourselves and our guests. David was the DJ for our Valentine's Day wedding, 2010. He was such an amazing help during all of our planning. He always had suggestions for songs if we asked for his opinion. He helped us design our reception itinerary. That was extremely helpful because who knows how a wedding should really run, minute by minute, unless you have been married before.

Being that our wedding was in the middle of a record snowfall here in Maryland we were quite disappointed when about 60 people didn't show because of the weather and being snowed in. Obviously that was upsetting for us but David did such a great job of altering the play list and moving around the schedule without bothering us with the details to try to keep the party going since so many people were leaving early too given the bad weather.

I can say that given the record snow, David was early to our wedding... not on time but early and that is something that you really should appreciate and look for in your DJ because that time is money that he is losing to ensure that your wedding music is there and ready to start on time. All in all David was extremely professional and did a great job with our wedding and if we could do it again, I would choose him in a heart beat! So, thanks David!

David was great for what I can remeber :). The night went by so fast and I was so occupied by others things that I probably only heard 3 songs but we had no issues with him. Our guests seemed to like him as they were dancing the night away.

David did an awesome job. It was a great time. David made sure the reception was exactly the way I wanted it. He took some slack for not playing some songs; however, they were on my absolutely do not play list and he never gave in, and I truely appreciate it. I selected David because I heard him at another wedding and I am glad that he was my DJ as well. Value was excellent for the service. I would recommend him to anyone needing a DJ.

Orlando Entertainment (specifically, DJ Kevin) provided the music for our wedding reception, and we have nothing but good things to say about them! Friendly and sensitive to our needs...not to mention good value for our money! They have an excellent variety of music, and were nothing but professional thoughout the entire process. Great throughout the entire process. When it got closer to the date, he went through all the music with us and downloaded anything that we wanted that he didn't have, and took the time to coordinate our bridal party entrance with my husband, who wanted the song to be timed really specifically.

David and Jessica did an AMAZING job at my wedding reception! They were very prepared. Months before the wedding I filled out a �Must, can, and do not play� list as well as the bridal party names and reception timeline. A few weeks before the wedding, I sent it back to them so they could make sure they had all the songs that I wanted. They gave us suggestions so that the night would go smoothly. David and Jessica are very organized and flexible. We had the reception at our family�s home so there were some last minute changes to our timeline. I think I must have called them 3-4 times on my wedding day and they were there for us and changed what was needed. Our wedding night was PERFECT! The dance floor was always packed with people having a great time! Thank you SOOOOO much David and Jessica! I could not have asked for a better DJ� you ARE the best!

David Orland was the best DJ I could have ever hoped for on our wedding day. He was professional, caring, and just all out fun! I have never been to a wedding where every single person was out of their seat dancing! It was exactly what we wanted and we can't thank him enough. My husband loved the songs he played so much so he wants a copy of the playlist!! Loved David Orlando. HIGHLY recommend him. He played everything we absolutely wanted to play and we gave him almost free reign for the rest of the music - asking explaining what we like. He did a great job!! And when the night was coming to an end, my grandmother asked me to let her leave before the last song (so she could get out of the parking lot). I begged David to throw in 2-3 extras so I could dance with my new husband to Our wedding's last song. He HAPPILY agreed and let the caterers know. My grandmother left happy and I didn't miss out on my last song of the wedding.

This was just ONE thing he gladly did for us without hesitation.

We don't have the words to express our gratitude for David Orlando. Our wedding reception was everything we hoped it to be and more. There was not a single soul sitting down after dinner. We had what we like to call a "half South American and half North American" wedding and EVERYONE was standing up dancing and having a great time whether South American music was being played or American. Throughout the planning process, David was highly professional, caring, flexible and willing to help us with just about anything. David was our DJ and we are SO happy that we chose him. He was the first DJ we interviewed and we immediately knew he was the person to go with. My husband and I went to the car and basically said, "Yep, let's book him."

Orlando Entertainment provided more than just a DJ service. they waited on the wedding party, helped with setting, planned the timing of the important events (i.e. cake cutting, bouqet toss...). They were pleasant and friendly. Everyone was dancing and had a great time.

David DJ'd our May 3rd wedding. Before we found him, we were wondering if a professional DJ even existed, having interviewed a number of potential DJ's, none of which we felt comfortable using. For example, we were behind in turning in our information sheet (introductions, must play and do not play, etc.), and they were super nice about it, which I appreciated. On the day of, David nailed some pretty difficult pronunciations of our bridal party names and kept the dance floor packed all night long. We had a wonderful time dancing at our reception! Highly recommend.

David & Jessica provided us with great service and they were easy to work with. They obviously love doing this and it results in great receptions!

After meeting them we didn't even need to look any further. David played all the songs we requested and did not play any of the songs on our do not play list. He kept the dance floor packed all night long at our wedding. The wireless mic was great for the toasts. I would highly recommend Orlando Entertainment for any event!

DJ Orlando was great. He was very attentive and flexible during both the planning and wedding. We decided to do one tradition last minute and he had no problem with that. Overall it was a great experience!

It was a pleasure working with David and Jessica Orlando while planning for our wedding. They offered advice when we asked for it and were very responsive to our emails and calls. Our DJ was Rusty who was very personable. He messed up our names when announcing us, and didn't play the last song I requested, but the one he ended up playing was a big hit, so I was ok with it.

David Orlando of Orlando Entertainment was our wedding dj. He did a great job of keeping us on schedule and making sure that all the special moments were highlighted. He really listened to what kind of atmosphere we were going for for our wedding reception. For most of the night the dance floor was packed although every now and then there were a few songs that we may not have chosen that weren't as well received but that was probably more our fault for not compiling a more complete play/do not play list. Overall I would definitely recommend David Orlando as your dj, he was a great asset to our wedding.

David and Jessica were terrific to work with. They guided us through the process and made musical selections easy. The cost was superb for the level of service we received. David was an excellent MC for our wedding. He made sure everything was done on time from the toasts, dances and cake cutting. Everything we asked for was completed. The best thing of all was that after our selections were made, David made sure that everything was taken care of and we weren't bothered on the day of the wedding freeing us up to have a great time.

David was absolutely my best vendor. He took time to call me and double check everything. We had a strict classic rock themed reception and he never wavered from that. The reception flowed beautifully. The DJ that handled my ceremony also did a great job, the timing was perfect. I would 100% recommend Orlando Entertainment to any bride! Plus he pronounced all the names right!

Orlando Entertainment was exactly what my husband and I were looking for in a DJ. David and Jessica were easy-going and communicative throughout the months leading up to our wedding, always answering questions as they arose. On the night of wedding, Jessica met the bridal party downstairs and double checked name pronuncations and other details of our entrance. The night ran smoothly and exactly as we had hoped. David was unintrusive while still being entertaining and running the show. We highly recommend Orlando Entertainment and we hopefully be able to find a reason to use them again.

David was a great DJ. He was easy to get ahold of on the phone and through e-mail. We loved that he guaranteed any songs that we requested a month in advance and was flexible with us when we turned in our song list a few days late. He was also very flexible when our wedding timing was a little off and made sure we were doing the major events at the reception (garter/bouquet, cake cutting, father/daughter dance, ect.) when we were ready for them. We also really liked that we went over name pronouncations about a week before the wedding and right before introductions to ensure everyones name was pronounced right. We would definitley recommend him to other couples looking for a great deal.

We ended up booking Orlando Entertainment only a few months before the wedding after we encountered some issues with our previous DJ and I am so glad we did! From the moment we met with David I knew he was a professional and would be a perfect fit for our wedding. He gave us a folder full of information for us to fill out so that every last detail was accounted for and he even gave us a list of music suggestions. I knew I wanted to book him that night, and after discussing it with my fiance, we did!

He was good at keeping in touch with us leading up to the wedding, and he was very flexible during the planning process when we ended up adding some equipment. He and his wife were very easy to get in contact with either by phone or email.

We ended up giving a detailed list of songs and when to play them and for the most part they were played at the right time. I think a few of the songs were played during dinner that I would of rather danced to but in the end it didn't really matter. He had everyone up on the dance floor and even led everyone in the electric slide since no one could remember how to do it!

There was one minor issue during the reception when the microphone didn't work and the speeches had to be delayed. But he handled it like a professional and it was fixed in a timely manner.

I would definitely use them again for another event!

David Orlando was my wedding DJ. He and his wife Jessica were both awesome to work with. From the beginning, we could tell how organized they were, which was so important to us. Unlike some other DJs we met with, we knew who our actual day-of DJ would be--other places have you sign on and you later find out who your DJ is. Um, not for us! We got to have the owner, that's what we loved!

There were one or two times I e-mailed them and they didn't respond right away because they were on vacation or had an emergency. I was never upset because it was much earlier in the process, and I knew I'd hear back. When I did, they were extremely apologetic and kind.

Toward the end of the planning, we talked several times. David reviewed everything with us and asked some good questions. Jessica called the week before the wedding and reviewed all names to write them out phonetically for the intros, which was great. Nothing was mispronounced on the big day!

I requested two extra microphones and mic stands for two musicians who were playing our processional music. They said absolutely, we'll bring them! And they came through. It was so nice that they didn't hesitate to bring what we needed.

At the reception, we decided to have a dance song or two before dinner, and man did he make the best choice possible and played "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas, and EVERYONE came to the dance floor. It really jumpstarted the party. I thanked him for that because it was such a great choice. Then we did the Hora, and that also went very well.

He played everything on our must play and probably all or almost all of our can play selections. Nothing from the do not play! Someone requested a country song (which was a whole do not play category) and he said nope, the bride or groom have to come up to approve this. We ended up letting them it play it though :)

We asked for energetic, fun and upbeat, and that's just what he gave us. One of my favorite additions was for the garter removal. He asked my now husband, you wanna do this the normal way or the interesting way?? We chose interesting. I'll save this as a surprise for future brides, but it made for a great photo opp and was more fun to do.

He always found me throughout the night to make sure I was ready for the next thing (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.) which was nice. It was like having another coordinator there.

Near the end of the night, he came up to me and said, your timeline has us stopping now, but the reception goes another 15 min. Should I keep playing? I said yep go til the end! I was happy he did.

Overall, they really went above and beyond. It was a phenomenal party. I definitely recommend his company and David himself a DJ!

DJ Orlando kept everyone dancing and played everything we asked for when we asked for it. I also appreciated their preparations to make sure they pronounced all of the names correctly. Over all, great value.

David Orlando was our DJ and we were very happy with him for our wedding. He was very budget-friendly and played great music - sticking very closely to our "must play" list.

After our wedding, we went to several other weddings and I experienced a few other DJ's. I wish, in retrospect, that our DJ had had a little more fun with our guests - getting them onto the dance floor. But the fact that he didn't do that isn't enough to make me not recommend him.

David was very nice and responsive when I called or emailed. We had only booked DJ services for the reception and not cocktail hour but I had heard that he tried to talk my wedding coordinator into giving him the OK to come the hour earlier even though that was not part of the agreement. We also sent him some song suggestions but it turns out they never got to our DJ. I would recommend him but I wish you could deal directly with the DJ booked instead of everything going through him.

David was organized and professional from the beginning of discussions - he had a whole "resume" form for our event - with instructions down to the very last detail. I met with him to go over our needs, then he called the week prior to confirm details (name pronunciations, etc) and was always very personable! He wore a tuxedo to the reception and his equipment seemed to be top quality. He did not have the "extras" some DJ's have - disco ball, strobe light, etc - but if you're not looking for that, it's a non-issue.

The music he played at our reception was a great mix to get everyone on the dance floor and having fun - which was the main priority! He also did a great job of adjusting to the delayed start of the reception (thanks to hurricane Hanna) and worked with me to cut out different parts to catch back up with our schedule.

The things that didn’t go as planned…
I received feedback from my venue and MOH that when they were setting up our video montage, he essentially threw up his hands and was of little help – and would only provide a “can’t do that” rather than suggestions for solutions (the winds ripped the tent and the computer had to be moved out of reach from the speaker wires). He left it up to the venue coordinator and my MOH to figure out how to get the music from the video to play on his speakers. Though I admit this wasn’t part of what I had contracted him for, it would have been nice to hear “he was so helpful” rather than “he was no help”.
The only other two bits I felt didn't flow right were the announcements of the bridal party - (even after going through it with the BP before the introductions, he missed one couple entirely) and there were a couple of times during the reception where the music stopped (instead of transitioning into another song) it was silent before he put on another song.

Other than that, he did a good job. Even with the issues we had, David gave me such a great rate and was so affordable, it was worth the savings to have a few minor issues. I would recommend him if you're looking for a DJ who's professional and very affordable.

Not super happy with this DJ. Computer froze during first song. Was training someone during our wedding. Was hard to get ahold of. Mispronounced people in wedding party's names. Left wedding before receiving payment and had wife harrass me while I was on my honeymoon. I would not recommend unless pressed for money, because this company is half the price of other DJs.
