can't go wrong with Vynce! he definitely knows his stuff and has state of the art equipment. he had people dancing all night! on top of that, he really got the crowd pumped up for the grand entry.Vynce has a great outgoing personality, which plays well with all crowds. He even offers lighting, gobo, and draping services too! We used him for all these items it couldn't have turned out any better! The LIGHTING was absolutely amazing and made the reception look like a million bucks. I would recommend DJ Music Phreek (Vynce) to anybody!!

Vynce did my wedding on Sept. 10. From our first meeting, I knew Vynce was a true professional and that we would be in good hands if we chose to go with him. He has an easy going personality and really seemed to want to provide music that would reflect my husband and my personality, while ensuring the crowd had fun. Throughout the planning process, I would shoot questions his way, which he would always answer promptly and professionally. He was an excellent communicator and would ask clarifying questions whenever needed to make sure the understood what we really wanted.During my wedding, everything ran pretty smoothly. He did an excellent job reading the crowd and the reception turned into a huge dance party. I had so many compliments on him. So many people told me that my wedding was the most fun wedding they'd ever been to. My dad, who initially thought we were overpaying him, ended up being so happy with his services that he gave him a generous gratuity, the day-of coordinator said she was going to put him on their preferred vendors list, and my 10 year old cousin, asked if he could be the DJ for her wedding, too! The room also looked great with the lights.My only possible complaint is that there were a few songs on our must play list that didn't get played, but I think it was because he was reading the crowd dynamics and felt that the songs wouldn't fit in. Either way, I'd highly recommend Vynce to anyone for any event! He knows what he's doing and has great customer service.

Music Phreek DJ & Lighting was off the chain! (:Finding a DJ seemed like the most difficult vendor to find for our wedding. I was being a super picky bride! lol I didn't want someone cheesy or boring, but someone FUN and who would keep the party going! Just like Vynce did! All of our guests had SOOOO much fun dancing, especially playing the dance off game! We hired Vynce to be our DJ for our wedding in July, and he was amazing! Our guests all told us how much fun they had, and we know it was because of Vynce's talent and ability to read the crowd! DJ Vynce is awesome! We interviewed several DJs before talking to DJ Vynce, but from the beginning I could tell he could be someone we would want to work with. He replied quickly to all of my emails and was extremely professional. In our initial meeting, my now-husband and I felt very comfortable with DJ Vynce and trusted he would do a great job at our wedding. We were not disappointed! The greatest testament to that was at the end of the wedding, after the final song played, our guests were chanting for one more song – DJ Vynce really knew how to get the energy level up. Where to start...So many great things to say about Vynce...in fact, ONLY great things to say about Vynce. Let's start a list:Personality - Vynce is extremely personable and professional. His confidence and calmness made us feel confident and calm about our Big Day. Perceptiveness – Vynce is very insightful and he speaks from a lot of experience. He was never pushy, and he gave us some extremely helpful suggestions for our wedding. He doesn’t have a “music bias” and is able to accommodate all tastes of music. He was also very intuitive in helping us to select the appropriate lighting for our venue (Rancho Bernardo Inn). Preparedness – Vynce has many different music lists and samples of wedding song selections and itineraries. All of these resources were particularly useful. We also appreciated his lighting samples. We had confidence in knowing exactly what we were getting. Precision – Vynce wants your Big Day to run just as smoothly as YOU do! You can count on him to return your emails and respond to your questions promptly. He never took more than 24 hours to respond to any of our inquiries. Truth be told, I don’t know if he ever took more than 2 or 3 hours to respond to one of our emails. We were impressed from the get-go! Perfection! – You will not find a better DJ than Vynce. We gave Vynce freedom in choosing some of our music (i.e. what would be played during the cocktail hour, during dinner, etc.). All of his selections were cared for in detail. He truly got to know us and took our personalities into account. Each song I heard was a song that I loved, and I didn’t even have to ask him to play it! Our dancing went all night.All of my expectations were met, and ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS WERE SURPASSED. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, everything I had always dreamed it would be. Our guests had such a great time on the dance floor that we still have people ask us for the Music Phreek contact info on a regular basis, and our wedding was 5 months ago. Vynce did an amazing job, a lot of my guest including my coordinator said we got a really good DJ. He kept the party going and even my husband who does not dance at all was out on the dance floor. Vynce work well with us and is very friendly. I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and family. My coordinator said that sometimes the DJ's are the hardest to work with, but Vynce was friendly and work well with my other vendors.

We were lucky enough to have Vynce Pham DJ our April 23 wedding at the Ultimate Skybox at the Diamond View Tower. Vynce was great and so easy to work with: he walked us through every step of the process, gave us feedback and advice when we asked for it, and helped to make our wedding day an unforgettable experience. We had a few “different” ideas that we wanted to incorporate, and Vynce helped to make those ideas work seamlessly into the day. In addition, my husband and I both love music, but enjoy different genres: he loves old school hip-hop and R&B, and I am a country girl. Despite our differences, Vynce made it work perfectly and the music was a true reflection of the two of us and our relationship. We also used Vynce to do lighting for the reception – once again, he made the process easy, had useful suggestions and the made the place look even better than we had expected. It was gorgeous and we received many compliments from our guests and even our site coordinator who has seen it all!Like most brides, I worried about things going wrong on the day of. However, all of my fears were calmed because I knew that Vynce could handle any problem that came his way. Vynce Pham AKA Music Phreek, is absolutely AMAZING! Having a DJ that you are confident in on one of the biggest days of your life and to make sure the music and the flow of the ceremony and reception goes well was one of the most important things to me. Everything was flawless! My husband and I met with him a few times before the big day to discuss our music selection and for ways to make it really fun for everyone! We incorporated a really fun icebreaker before open dancing started! We had a dance off with our guests that had no idea they were in the competition! We paired guests up with people they didn’t know and the other guests had to clap for the couple they liked the most! It was a lot of fun! Not only does Vynce DJ but he also provides lighting! I would recommend to every Bride to get LIGHTING!! It was important to me to make sure lots of people were dancing and the lighting really helps people get into the mood! I got married at Admiral Kidd and had my reception in the Skyline room and it has huge windows that look out over the water at Downtown San Diego and is beautiful but because the room is so huge you want to bring the focus to the dance floor and Vynce really made that happen with the lighting. Something I really liked about Vynce was that he brings two set ups, so he had his equipment set up for the ceremony and a separate set up in the reception so there was never a time without music because he never had to move any equipment. He was constantly focused on the day and what we envisioned for the day. I couldn’t have been happier with Vynce and his service! I had 200 guests on a Sunday night and everyone was out on the dance floor dancing until we had to leave! It couldn’t have gone any better! If you are looking for a DJ, Vynce is your man! He kept the dance floor full all night and everyone LOVED him! Even a month after the wedding, we still have people saying how much fun they had because of him! Vynce is so easy to work with too. He met with us first to see if we would mesh as a group, and of course we did! I liked the fact that he wouldn’t just take anyone as clients, and made sure we were all on the same page well before the event. He really cares about setting the right mood and making sure the night flows. After you book with him he gives you some deadlines and is very active and involved in the process, and his follow up and availability are great. Vynce was our dj for our wedding this past weekend and he was amazing! He was very professional, but fun at the same time. He did everything we asked of him and more! Vynce was great! He really worked with us and got to know who we were. The music was great and he was a great MC. He went over our itinerary with us the day before making sure he got every name and detail correct. My husband DJ’ed his way through high school – school events, house parties, competing in battles and putting on shows so when it came time to choosing our wedding entertainment; he was set on choosing the best. We knew from the start we would go the DJ route; we both wanted a specific variety of music and there’s just some music wedding singers cannot pull off. We interviewed quite a few of San Diego’s popular wedding DJs. Our biggest issue? Cheesiness. Listening to some DJs suggest we play “Bad Boys” for our best man speech or “Single Ladies” for our bouquet toss was nauseating. Our second biggest issue? Profiling us. Yes, I’m Vietnamese and my husband is half Filipino. No, we do not want Vietnamese music or a DJ that speaks Tagalog. Even worse? When they don’t listen to what we say and continue to talk about such things. Then came in Vynce – articulate, charismatic, entertaining and open-minded. He was well-spoken from the start and instantly entertaining. He showed us videos of his work, samples of his mixes and most of all, he listened to what we wanted. He compiled playlists and mixes that were exactly what we envisioned for our pre-dinner, cocktail hour, dinner and reception. We wanted special lighting as well and Vynce showed us examples of uplights he did for other weddings as well as demonstrated in person what equipment he had. When we finally settled on a venue, Vynce was incredibly helpful with suggestions and helped us come up with ideas of how to transform the place. It was a cheesy Chinese restaurant and we wanted Platinum Weddings - Vynce helped us achieve our dream wedding with pipe and draping, uplights and great music. His prices are reasonable and competitive; he’s worth every penny. When it came to the big day, Vynce had our guests energized and excited. When you meet with Vynce, be sure to ask about Dance of the Decades :) he has a way of getting everyone up and dancing – even the elderly! There’s no doubt in our minds that Vynce is the best in town and we’d definitely recommend him. In fact, we’re hoping to throw another party just so we can hire him again!

DJ Vynce was nothing but PHENOMENAL! He had everyone dancing non-stop for 4 hours straight. Not only was DJ Vynce so precise in his song transitions, but he was also so very creative. DJ Vynce rocked our party! He played most of the music we requested on our playlist and not a single song that we had on our Do Not Playlist. He kept things moving along and worked fabulously with our Coordinator. When we decided to extend our party until 2 am, he happily agreed and stayed with us until the wee hours of the morning. To our surprise, Vynce provided us with cd's from our dinner and reception. I listen to them while I drive to work and relive some of those magical moments! Vynce was our DJ and hands-down he was the BEST DJ we could have EVER hired. We hired him early on during the planning process so we were definetely in contact with him for a long time. He was always responsive, gave us great ideas and was 150% forthcoming with any of our needs/desires. He started the party w/ his famous "Dance of the Decades" and people are still talking about it two weeks after the wedding. He played all of the music we asked for, and even made us cd's of our dinner/reception music, I mean who does that?!? VYNCE does! Vynce DJ'd our wedding last weekend and truely made the night an absolute hit!! His professionalism, responsiveness and easy personality made planning a breeze. He worked with us on creating a time schedule (which best to my knowledge was spot on) and a play list (which kept the dance floor full!). Best of all was the "Dance of the Decades". ALL of our guests raved about it and how much fun it was to start the night! I would hire Vynce again for any party I have!

We knew we wanted to book Vynce as soon as we set a wedding date, and that’s exactly what we did. We did not interview any other DJs. We met with Vynce right after selecting our wedding date, and he was so helpful – giving us options and ideas for elements of the wedding we had never thought about. He’s very well-organized and completely professional. At the wedding, Vynce was phenomenal. There was one situation which arose which Vynce diffused with such professionalism that he really saved the day. During our first dance, a long time friend of MIL hopped out of her seat, ran to the dance floor, and started blowing bubbles inches away from DH and my faces. I was utterly shocked that anyone would interrupt our first dance in this way. It was so wildly inappropriate!!! But, Vynce didn’t miss a beat. He quickly got on the mic, and urged anyone who had bubbles left from the ceremony to shower DH and I with them during our dance. This turned a horrifying experience into a beautiful and memorable moment. As if that wasn’t enough, Vynce and the Best Man worked out a dance routine for the Best Man speech. It was the single most entertaining best man speech I have ever seen! Also, during the night Vynce had the dance floor full and kept everyone entertained. Finally, at the end of the night, Vynce gave us a CD with all of our wedding music.Vynce is the reason we pay for DJs at weddings. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

Vynce is great! He was a referral from a friend of mine & I can't thank her enough. Vynce was so helpful & patient. I know nothing about music so we needed a little help getting ideas going. He knew what we did like, what we didn't, it was perfect. Everyone danced the whole night & had a great time.

Vynce is awesome...he comes highly recommended because everyone that uses him for their wedding dj has great things to say about him. First off, he let us book him a year and a half in advance which let us lock in prices and save money. He was very patient with us and was willing to meet with us even when our wedding and his involvment was a long ways away. He is very straightforward with what he needs from you and if its screwed up....well then, its your fault basically. You need to send him list of names in order with pronounciation and a list of your formals songs. Vynce is very quick to respond to emails....if he didnt get back to me on the same day, i would think something is wrong!! Thats how fast! His prices are straight forward and fair he has a price list for equipment that you can choose from....we paid a fair price for 6 hours of his time and the projector/screen. He works really well with our coordinator Brenda Swann so they took care of all the cue-ing and timeline stuff. It was seemless. He is very professional in the way he speaks with you and conducts his services. His presence is appropriate for being a dj and definitely gets people's attention and he is a greatMC!! Most of all he got the party going and was able to feel out the crowd. He gave some of the older aunties and uncles a bit of dancing songs like swing and boogie songs early on but as the night got darker, he really got the party going for all our cousins, friends...with all the popular stuff...a lot of our aunts and uncles and parents were also on the dance floor too!! Definitely a great DJ and very fitting for our crowd....We would highly reccomend him!!tip: if you use the projector, make sure it works properly with your computer. Ask if you can do a test run. Especially if you have a mac. Ours had a bit of a problem. My sister used our mac and she wasnt able to do a test run but it took a good 10 min to figure out how to fix the coloring of the images...Vynce doesnt use macs so we had to have someone that knew about macs to try and figure stuff out. Our photographer ended up fixing it. just fyi

I really cant say enough about Vynce. He was the epitome of professional, helpful,flexible, and fun.He DJ'd for My Daughter Shanna's Wedding.. He helped her every step of the way. This was especially helpful considering that she lives in Hawaii and they were only able to meet a few times before the big Day. He went over and above IMO.. And was incredible. He helped us create a moving slideshow with VERY little time, and a beautiful Monogram at the very last minute. This man is a PRO in every way, and more because he is also kind and funny and caring. He kept the music flowing and the people dancing.. When an family members illness required him to change up the program a bit, he did it flawlessly. All we heard for weeks was that this was the best wedding our guests ever attended.. and Vynce played a huge part in that. Any couple will be lucky to have Vynce as their wedding DJ.. or for any event.Vynce, Thank you so much.. You played a big part in creating a wonderful day for Shanna and Danny.

Vynce was awesome in keeping the party going! Our venue closed at 10:30pm and people on the dance floor until the very end. Many of our guests said they had so much fun that they kept the party going even after our reception ended.We had several people tell us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. And of all the compliments we could have got, we’re glad it was “fun.” We had really thought about what we wanted for our guests and I’m so happy with the way it turned out. It truly was a blast with all the surprises we had for them. Part of the surprises was Vynce’s Dance of the Decades. We had a ton of compliments on just that. People are still talking about it and how fun it was.I will say that Vynce was the best vendor in regards to email. Many times he would answer me within 10 minutes, and I emailed him a lot. I will note that the less direction you give him with songs, the better he does. I had read this in other vendor reviews, so knew this ahead of time. We gave him a list of 20 songs we liked, and I think he played 10 of them. He got all the main ones correct i.e. first dance, cake cutting, etc. But at the end of the day, I think I would defer to his judgment during the open dance. I had asked for 10 country songs, and looking back, I’m glad he didn’t play all 10 country songs. It would not have flowed well, and it would have alienated some of the guests. So if you want to dictate the entire night with a specific order of songs, I would say Vynce is not your DJ. If you don’t mind as much, you can let him do his magic and he’ll make sure your guests are on the dance floor all night.Another really cool thing Vynce suggested was a Scratch Off between my husband and I. It was pretty fun! And a lot harder than I thought it would be. I'd never scratched before. It was super neat and different, which we loved!

Vynce was by far the best wedding DJ I have ever seen! He made our wedding fun and extremely successful; our guests have not stopped talking about how much they loved the music and how much fun they had. He was also incredibly professional and allowed me to sit back, relax, and have the time of my life. I didn't have to worry about anything and if anything came up (for example, my husband and I wanted to spend a little extra time visiting with our guests after dinner), Vynce just adjusted the other events accordingly without a hitch. When we first met Vynce, our impression is that he is very easygoing and friendly and we felt an instant "connection" like he understood what we were looking for in a DJ. We communicated mostly via email and he was always very quick to respond. We sent him a bunch of songs and he made the best decision to play all of our island songs during our outdoor cocktail hour. It really set the ambience for the cocktail hour. He played all the important songs as we requested, ie grand entrance, first dance. We were running behind schedule (not his fault) and were asked by our coordinator if we wanted to forgo the Dance of the Decades. We were so glad we didn't. It really got the party started and had our family and friends dying of laughter and enjoyment. They are already crazy as it is so it really fit in with our wedding. He played nearly all of the music we requested and he made the reception all about us. He was not on the microphone too much but just enough to keep the reception moving along. I highly recommend doing the Dance of the Decades - everyone is still talking about it! During the reception he wouldn't hesitate to ask us questions to make sure we were ready for cake cutting, etc. or if we had any issues. We had loads of compliments about Vynce form our friends and family.

Both my husband and I really enjoy music and have eclectic taste. So finding the right fit for our Wedding was going to be the most important thing to us. I had had the pleasure of attending a Wedding where Vynce Pham was the DJ and he was amazing!
I thought once I was engaged he was the go to guy for sure! I am usually hard on Wedding DJ's because sometimes it can all start to sound the same or they have too many mash-ups of songs. Just when you start feeling a song, they switch to another and throw off your moves. ;) Vynce had his own technique and smooth way of leading into other songs, which I really appreciated. Through the whole process from start to finish Vynce was so professional. I am the type of person who likes to get emails answered promptly especially if you're planning a Wedding, it's nice to get questions answered quickly so the Bride or Groom can move onto the next project.

Bottom line, I highly recommend Vynce to anyone! He was so nice and giving of his time and very well priced. I can't say enough good things about him. Vynce did a fantastic job as the DJ for our wedding. He is very professional, organized and extremely responsive. Vynce was always available via phone or e-mail to discuss our wedding timeline and songs and offered invaluable input during the planning process. Vynce was one of the greatest assets of our wedding. During the planning process he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Vynce dj'd our wedding on Feb 20th, 2010 at Grand Tradition Estate in Fallbrook. My initial thoughts when going to meet with Vynce was that I sure hope he isn't the typical dorky, over the top wedding dj that I've experienced at so many weddings in the past. Vynce definitely didn't disappoint. His professionalism but friendly demeanor quickly made us know we were making the right choice, not to mention his top of the line gear and music selection. Vynce mentioned his unique "dance of the decades dance-off" and showed us some footage and I knew with some of the characters we would have attending our wedding that it was a must do. The dance off was a huge hit. Another thing to think about when choosing a dj is their ability to speak clearly, whether pronouncing names, making dedications, or addressing your guests. Once again, Vynce is comfortable and his communication skills are as solid as his dj'ing ability. I highly recommend Vynce if you are looking for a dj for any event.

Hands down the best Wedding DJ I've seen at any wedding. We felt very lucky to have him DJ for us. Incredibly professional and experienced. He actually was able to advise us in a lot more areas than just the music and really helped bring all of the different pieces of the wedding together beautifully. He also provided very professional lighting for our ceremony and reception. You might worry about some of your other vendors during the planning process (you'll see what I mean), but DJ Phreek doesn't make you worry for a moment.

My now-husband is a musician, so we always envisioned having a live band at our wedding. However, our wedding budget just didn't allow for it. After doing some research and reading some reviews about Vynce and me convincing my fiance' at the time that we didn't have the funds for a band, we reluctantly met with him. I am SOOO glad that we did. I think if money were no object and I could go back and do it all over again, even if I had the choice to hire a band, I would hire Vynce instead. We decided to have live instrumental music for the ceremony and live acoustic music for our cocktail hour, and Vynce segued into our reception flawlessly. From the beginning, and throughout the entire planning process, he was extremely professional and helpful. For many of us planning a wedding, it's our first time so we are learning as we go. I now know the importance of having a DJ (and all vendors for that matter) who know what they're doing and have experience with weddings to help the event go smoothly. Vynce did just that and much more. He kept our itinerary on schedule and I didn't have to worry about a THING because the moment he took over at the reception, everything was perfect. We chose to incorporate the "dance of the decades" and it was the hit of the party! Somehow he chose the perfect songs for our friends/participants and it was a great transition from the dinner portion to the dancing portion. The only thing I was sorry about was that the party had to end! I can't stress enough how important it is to have a great DJ as the DJ plays a HUGE part in making sure the reception is everything it can be. In my opinion, Vynce is the best! I gave him a list of songs to convey the type of music that we like and he chose the very best songs, and even gave us cd's of the dinner and dancing music so that we had them to listen to on our wedding night and honeymoon! I got so many unexpected compliments on the music and our reception and it was all because of Vynce. He got everyone's names perfect and was accommodating to our unavoidable last minute changes (sorry Vynce!) Almost everyone said it was the best and most fun wedding they'd ever been to. It sounds too good to be true, and it almost is! I can't say enough good things about him. Thank you for making our wedding so awesome Vynce! And DEFINITELY do the dance of the decades. I was a little hesitant, but am so glad I trusted him. Trust everything he says because he knows what he is talking about! I wish I could give him 10 stars.

My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with Vynce and the job he did for the wedding. I contracted this guy for my wedding and he cancelled by email to do another wedding... who just happened to be a person on a bridal board I used frequently. He caused great stress. I do not find his service professional.I have seen him in action at other weddings and he did just fine at those, no problems... just in my case, he broke contract.

I first met Vynce when he was the DJ/MC at my friend's wedding. I was so impressed with his work that I hired him to be my DJ/MC at my own wedding. Vynce is the best DJ/MC ever! He responded quickly to all my emails, worked with me to pick the music, and took charge on the day of our wedding to make our reception go as smoothly as I could have hoped for. He has a great voice and a natural speaking ability. He has any song you can think of. We just gave him an itinerary to follow, and he made sure everything happened on time. I really appreciated his hard work and can't imagine how things would have gone without him at our reception! My brother made a slide show but did not bring the right equipment to show the slide show. Thank goodness that Vynce was there and happened to have the right cords and equipment on-hand to make the slideshow happen. If you're having a wedding, you should really go with Vynce because you won't be disappointed.

I can not not remember him "mc"ing that much but I was also very occupied and distracted with many things. A lot of the time, I did not know what was going on or what would come next, but that is my fault because I should have went over the itiniery more. Vynce himself was very professional and on time. The only thing that I was slightly disappointed with was the lighting, I had 14 tin cans for uplighting and did not notice it that much. My impression was that the whole room was going to look blue. We first saw DJ Vynce at another wedding and saw first hand what a great job he does and that is why my husband and I decided to hire him. And we are soooooo happy that we did! Vynce was our DJ at our wedding reception last October. Vynce is a great guy, full of ideas to make events fun and memorable.

We met with him about 6 months before our wedding and we completely fell for his personality. We had been looking for a DJ for our wedding reception and had already met with 3 different ones before Vynce. We found all of them cheesy and only attracted to the money they would make from our wedding, until we found Vynce. He was different as he was so dedicated to making sure our reception a success. We absolutely adored him after our first meeting and stopped looking further. Also his pricing was very reasonable compared to others.

In the months before our wedding, he offered us good suggestions on music (he has an extensive library), room set up (he provided us with the ambiance lights and monogram), and entertainment for the guests (with the famous "Dance of the Decades", which was an absolute success among our guests). He was always very prompt with emails and questions (with a turnaround time of a few hours if not a few minutes).

On the day-of he was very professional. He went to our reception location early to set everything up. He played the type of music well like we had talked about for each part of the evening. He did an excellent job MC'ing and pronouncing hard names. He was more than nice to our family members and worked with them to prepare us surprise entertainment. He always played the right music to keep our guests on the dance floor (which was not an easy task, as he had to mix popular music with foreign music he had never heard before, to make sure no crowd got bored). Also, one thing my husband wanted to make sure we had at the reception was a good quality sound system, which Vynce offered with his equipment. My husband was very pleased on that part. Overall, Vynce did an incredible job and we had no complaints whatsoever. The only thing we regretted was not having a longer party, because all our guests were ready to party more!

In conclusion, we would recommend Vynce to anybody looking for a great DJ. We are positive you will not be disappointed with him. We wish we had another event to plan just so he can be in charge of the entertainment again!

Vynce was awesome at my wedding reception! my sister is using him for her wedding in a couple of months so i decided to use him too for my reception back in December. he was mainly background music, but i have to say, even that was great! i never heard a song i didn't like and he played all the right kind of music that i asked for. he also emceed and did a wonderful job making things move along. he's very laid back and fun. i recommend Vynce to anyone and everyone!

Vynce was an excellent DJ and MC at our wedding. He made our wedding fun and ran the program smoothly. The guests enjoyed every minute of it. He also provided our uplights and took care of projecting our monogram at the reception. He was extremely accommodating to our needs and responsive to our questions and emails. On top of that, he even went out of his way to check out the venue and coordinate with us weeks before the wedding. This was helpful for us especially when we had to plan a wedding out of town. Vynce is super responsive. His catalogue is great, and he has tons of fun ways to spruce up your reception. I’m really anal about the songs I like since I used to be a DJ and he played my whole playlist during dinner. I had asked him to add some similar songs to compensate for time but my playlist played twice. We had also asked him to play old 90’s music and he didn’t play it and also played one song that was on our do not play list, but overall he is amazing and we had a great time with him. He’s reasonably priced and you could totally hang out with him after. He even guilted me into eating more dinner so I didn’t die. He is totally on top of it and it you’re down for silliness and going through his huge playlist he’s the guy for you.

I found Vynce when I attended a wedding and thought he was a blast so I hired him for my wedding. During the planning process he was great and had lots of ideas to make our wedding fun and unique.

I was disappointed he did not attend the rehearsal because when the wedding day came the wedding party and the music didn't come together correctly so Vynce wasn't prepared for who came down the isle when and when to switch the music. I made a list of the songs I wanted played at the wedding and at what part of the wedding I wanted them played. It was very detailed and we went over the list many many times and I was clear on what types of music I did NOT want played at the wedding, the list was very detailed which I thought made his job very very easy since he didn't have to do anything but follow my list and maybe fill in with a few songs. Unfortunately during the reception my list was not followed at all. In fact he played songs I would never have chosen and at some points no music played at all. I was very upset.

All in all Vynce had great ideas and his price was fair. If you have no music requirements he is your Dj for sure. He is a nice guy and has great ideas.

Vynce was both our DJ and MC for our wedding (10/11/2008 at Mt.Woodson Golf Club) Our personal experience with him has been wonderful. Vynce has been very responsive with emails and calls and always reminded us what we missed. He called a day before to check with us, and made sure we got everything we asked (and even things that we thought we wouldn't need) My husband had insisted not to use a mic for the ceremony, which would have been very bad, since we did ceremony outside the building. Vynce gave a mic for us with no charge. That was such a life saver for our ceremony!

On the wedding day, he arrived very early and set-up both stations (we did ceremony out-door and dance inside). His gears are very nice. There was no squeezing sound. Everything went smoothly. Vynce entertained our guests and still today everybody remembers his signature "Dance of Decade" because it was so much fun! He brought Leis for us too.

We gave Vynce a list of songs, including Foreign songs and he played them all in nice order.

Vynce will be the most organized and easiet vendor you will work with. Vynce was a great communicator by always responding to my emails and phone calls promtly. He listened to everything we needed and provided us with the best service. We have been married for 1.5 years now and my guests still talk about how great our reception was... all due to Vynce. When originally searching for our wedding DJ I, like most men, gave my wife Melissa the lead in choosing just about everything for our wedding. One reason is that I simply didn’t want to take the time but more importantly I knew how special of a day this was for both of us but ultimately I wanted her to have whatever she wanted for the wedding. As web developers and internet marketers I knew Melissa would not only do the research but would weed through the poor attempts at marketing many of the DJ’s use and find the most genuine and hard working DJ out there for our wedding. She really hit a home run with Vynce and I was impressed from our very first meeting.
I will admit I did have a preconceived notion of the wedding DJ from various movies I had seen or stereotypes associated with them but Vynce welcomed us into his home and really from our first meeting was not only well organized but was actually excited about helping us customize the wedding how we wanted it. The most impressive aspect about our working relationship from the start is that I genuinely felt that Vynce was not only honest but almost seemed more concerned with getting us what we wanted over getting his payment.
To put it simply, from start and until the finish both Vynce and his assistant Scott overprovided the service. Whatever image I had in my head of what a DJ’s job description entailed they not only exceeded it but truly blew it away!
The night of the wedding I had a prerecorded song I had written that I wanted to play over a slide show. Vynce and I were working on this for a surprise for Mel at some point during the wedding. Vynce was very patient with me in delivering the finished version of this to him before the wedding. Unfortunately I had my dad finalize the slideshow literally minutes before the wedding. Vynce and Scott worked diligently throughout the actual wedding to get the file to play on his computer while still running the show. Scott even left the wedding and went to a near by Starbucks to get on the internet to download the music player needed to play the video and music onto the projector (even after I told them just to scrap it if it was going to be too hard). In the end they got it to work and it was a big hit with Mel and all of the guests.
In conclusion, Vynce really made the wedding day something that people have not stopped talking bout and made the day something I will never forget. From a guy who sonce saw weddings as a waste of money and somewhat of an overproduction I truly feel in retrospect that Vynce and Scott were worth every penny and then some. Thank you so much Vynce for not just doing your job but making this your mission to make, not just our wedding, but each wedding you work on a unique and special event for each client you take!
