Bill did our wedding and he was great. We had a mix of young and older people and he played a good mix music that got everyone on the dance floor. I would use DJ U again for any event and reccomend them to anyone.

DJU Productions was recommended by our reception venue and they were definitely top notch! Everything went smoothly and I would recommend them to anyone in search of a DJ. Darrell Ripley was the DJ for our wedding reception and he was very easy to work with and handled the time schedule fabulously throughout the evening. He did a great job of getting a feeling for our personalities and music taste. Dj Joe Figueroa was my favorite vendor by far!! I was so nervous baout the music for my ceremony being played as I wanted it and he totally understood exactly what I wanted and I couldnt have been happier. During the reception, he got guests involved, stuck to my timeline and was fun and a great entertainer. I couldnt have asked for more!

I cant express how much we loved working Jason and DJU Productions. Everything was so easy, the whole process leading up to the wedding day. The wedding day went great, so smooth, exactly as we had pictured. We were complemented after on the music and the DJ by many of our guests. Everyone had a blast!

I am reviewing here the services of DJU Productions. They provided us our DJ and also a live feed service.Ok, so let me start by saying that I am VERY, VERY hard to satisfy, and I am a perfectionnist. So if I tell you our DJ was AWESOME, and if I give him 5 stars, then please believe he was perfect at all levels. Darrell Ripley was our DJ for our special day, and everything he did for us was just amazing. We were basically one hour late because of my hairdresser that didn't show up (that's another story), and he worked his magic to make our wedding a success in spite of that. People around me are still talking about how good a master of ceremony he was, and how fun the evening was thanks to him. He played exactly what we asked him to play, listened to everything we asked him to do or not to do during the reception (we had to make some last minute changes because of our delay and he managed everything greatly). He always had a smile on his face and a good word for us in spite of the fact I was so stressed all evening long. Even when our last dance CD failed to work because it was badly recorded (by me!), he still made it work by finding another similar version with his phone. And may I add that he was a very nice and fun person? I was worried before the reception because my sister had a major problem with her DJ on her wedding night, but I was so wrong to worry. Thank you so much Darrell, and if I ever need a DJ in the future be sure you'll be the first person on my list! Thank you so much for making our evening so memorable, and I hope you had fun too!

Our entire experience with this company was great! They contacted us to plan the music. They had every song we requested. I also made a special request to have a song playing outside as we had our big "send-off." They had never done this before at my venue, but said they would try to see if they could arrange it. The night of our wedding, as we ran toward our get-away car, I heard it playing and was so surprised!! It was the perfect end to a perfect night. We loved our DJ. He kept things moving and had EVERYONE on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG! I was shocked because I didn't think we had a "party" crowd but he really knew how to "work the crowd." We were very pleased and totally recommend this service!

WOW! I was sooo pleased with the service that I received for my wedding reception. Stan was an amazing DJ and did a truly stellar job! We had great communication throughout the entire event and it was obvious that he wanted to make sure that I was happy and having a great time. I made sure to give him a thourough list of notes about the music we liked and didn't like. He played off the crowd's vibe and all my guests are raving about what an swesome time they had! DJU productions was by far the easiest and BEST decision I made during my planning process.

We decided back in January at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza that we wanted to use Darrell from DJU Productions as our DJ for our Wedding Recepetion. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He was upbeat, fun, and played all the songs that we wanted to play plus more. My favorite part of the night is when he said to our guest that before today we were the Southerly family and the Simotas family and now we are all family, then he played the "We are Family" song. That right there got everyone up and dancing! He was amazing. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Highly recommend DJU productions! Our DJ/MC made everything flow perfectly and sound awesome. They were flexible and would play a song if we wanted one requested the wedding night. They also did a slideshow for us that came out amazing. AND we got a $100 discount because of our wedding venue! Definitely go with them!

Our DJ, Darrell Ripley, from DJU Productions was great! He was very professional, laid out the timeline of the various toasts, dances, etc. and he played great music that everyone danced to. Darrell also did a great job of asking us, the Bride and Groom, if we were ok with certain song requests guests made to make sure we were ok with it.

DJU were awesome at the wedding. The music selection was wonderful and the Dj (jason) was very engaging and kept our guest hopping and popping on the dance floor while keeping it real and elegant at the same time. The photobooth was a blast to have and everyone said they really enjoyed that aspect. the attendent was very good and helpful. The lights provided by DJU really set the mood for the whole party giving it a elegant and fun feel. The over all experience with DJU was very professional AND also fun at the same time. Jason really help make the party fun! The whole crew was very accommodating to our needs before and during the wedding making sure it was a stress free day for us and we really appreciate it. I would recommend to my friends, family and anyone who wants to throw down an awesome party!

I actually found DJU Productions here on wedding wire. I'm SO GLAD that I used them to DJ my wedding. This company has DJing down to a tee. You meet with them before the wedding, cover the time line and certain songs you'd like for different parts of the wedding, etc. They took great notes on what to do when, how to pronounce the wedding parties names, etc. When it came to the day of Guy (Guyon) was SO GREAT. He coordinated well with the venue and the matron of honor. He followed the time line perfectly. When it came to dancing, the dance floor was ALWAYS packed. I had made a special request for him to transition a few salsa songs between hip-hop and dance music and he did it PERFECTLY! We booked them for 6 hours and Guy was so great the party could have lasted another 2!!! I would definitely refer this company and I would definitely use them again for other events!!!

Jason was a hit! He delivered everything we asked and talked about. All the guest were out on the floor having a blast and kept saying what fun the DJ was and his music was a hit! I think the only problem some of the bridal party told me was during thier introductions into the reception, he messed some names up in the line order, but not sure if this was due to miscommunication between him and my coordinator! Other than that I would reccomend not only DJ unlimmited, but can honestly say I would ALWAY trust and use JASON!

We used Dju productions for our wedding 7/30/11 and let me tell you they were the best I think I have ever seen. They made everything go so smooth. We used DJU Productions’ Darrell Ripley for our 7/23/11 wedding and absolutely LOVED them. Darrell was so flexible with my Husband’s (that is still so weird to me, “my Husband”) multi-tabbed excel spread sheet including a comprehensive list of songs for the reception. We had guests from Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Illinois and NYC all the way to Spain and Peru--so a pretty diverse crowd. Darrell kept the mix between rap/hip hop, Spanish music and country (we did get married in TEXAS) going so that everyone was on the dance floor---including my 92 year-old Grandmother! Darrell also worked behind the scenes with my sisters (both of which were my Maids of Honor) to produce a rap for their speech which brought tears to everyone’s eyes while at the same time making everyone laugh uncontrollably and ending with a standing ovation! It was fantastic. Working with Darrell and DJU Productions was super easy and they were very helpful and professional with planning the reception entertainment and lighting. They were able to recommend services that were specific to our venue since they had done many receptions there in the past. Best of all, I didn’t feel like ‘just another wedding’ to them—they really cared about personalizing the event for us and I could tell Darrell genuinely had fun being a part of it all. If you are getting married in Houston you must use DJU Productions for MC/DJ, lighting, projections, photo booth and more—that is, unless, they are already booked! :)

Our DJ was awesome! He was very friendly, flexible and open to last minute changes, and did a great job with the music. He really paid attention to what our guests were enjoying and kept playing that type of music. I would highly recommend DJU Productions!

I only wish the party could have lasted longer; as a DJ Darrell Ripley was excellent beyond compare. He kept the party upbeat and his commentary was always spot on. The whole package we purchased from DJU was worth every penny especially the Photo Booth which people are still raving about. We would absolutely recommend DJU Productions for any event, especially a wedding. They did a great job before, during and after the event and the dsicussions leading up were pleasant. Jeremy from DJU hosted our wedding reception. He was awesome! My husband and I, as well as our guests, had a great time. He played a little bit of everything for everyone's different tastes in music. Had no problems whatsoever and they were very helpful when helping us coordinate our event.

I LOVED my entire experience with DJU Productions!!! Bill Cox was the DJ for our wedding reception and did an AMAZING JOB!! I was a pretty OCD bride when it came to the reception music (made an excel spreadsheet with every single song I wanted to hear) and Bill had no problem with sticking to my list. He also followed my requests about which songs not to play, even when two of my bridesmaids requested one of those songs, he still did not play it (thank God!!) We also had a mariachi band play at our reception, Los Gallitos, and we were actually referred to them by DJU Productions. They were also fantastic!!!! Bill knew exactly when to get on the microphone and when to let the party go on its own. I also provided a CD of songs to Bill before the wedding with several Spanish songs that my mother-in-law specifically requested to hear at the reception, and all of those were played with no problem at all, including the Mother and Son first dance. We also had DJU provide purple uplighting for our event and it really made the room pop! I would certainly have spent more money on lighting and other services that DJU provides if I could have, because everything they did was AWESOME!!! We also got an amazing deal by meeting them at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza, but even if you don't go to that event, I would still book any event with these guys, because you will truly enjoy working with them and your guests will all have a wonderful time!!! DARRELL RIPLEY IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!!! Words can not describe how happy I was with my DJ. He was amazing from the way he met me at the door to the second we got in our get away car. My wedding was over a month ago and I still have people talking about how fun they had. People even told me they NEVER dance at weddings and were out there all night long. DJU Productions helped make my big day so incredibly special and left me to worry about nothing once I arrived at the reception. I've always said that the venue provides the space and food but the DJ truly runs your show and sets the tone for your wedding. Bill Cox, with DJU was absolutely amazing and gave me the wedding reception of my dreams. From the day that I booked him and all the way through my wedding day, he was helpful and very attentive to my needs and wants for my big day. My husband and I are still talking about how wonderful he was and how much fun he made our wedding! I highly recommend DJU to anyone and everyone that is getting married or just throwing an event!

DJU was amazing!!! Our dj was Jason, and he made the night so much fun. He played great music and was pretty much our time keeper the entire night (to fit in everything we wanted during reception). We also got the photo booth which was perfect idea for the wedding favor..Everybody loved it and had so much fun playing dress up! We had to make a last minute call to DJU Productions for a back-up DJ and within 48 hours, we were booked - the entire list of songs were picked out and I was comforted that the music aspect of the wedding would be in good hands. We worked with Jason from DJU Productions. We rented our tent, tables, chairs, lighting from them and Jason was also our DJ. He was extremely professional and made sure that everything was perfect. I used this company at our ten year reunion nearly fifteen years ago. They were good then and even better now. They worked well with our caterer. They are very professional and want you and your guests to have a good time. It is their goal! We were able to create a play list on line of "must haves" as well as "must nots". We also created a list of "as time allows" which enabled the DJ to see our style and make additional choices to keep people going. I trusted him to know if a song I chose might not be the best choice and knew he would make a better one along that same line. He did a terrific job of keeping the floor moving. My mom commented that he knew when to slow it down and give the older folks a break, too. =_) I also liked that I could put in special requests and notes to play certain songs at certain times. For example, a song for my step-dad and I to dance together. The DJ announced Bruce was requested on the dance floor and then I followed him out there. It was perfect! They also found the OU fight song for my granddad when he stood up to speak. Again, perfect! It made for a very special night and many wonderful memories.I would use them again and again. They do a fantastic job.

After just having the wedding reception this past weekend, I must say that one of the easiest vendors to work with was DJU Productions who was our DJ. DJU only required one meeting with the bride and after that it was follow-up phone calls on their part just to confirm everything. The week of the wedding we received a phone call verifying the song selections and any other last minute special requests that we may have had. Even the week of we added a song that had special meaning to our family and they courteously obliged. Our wedding reception was one of those where the dance floor was constantly packed. Our DJ offered all types of music which appealed to everyone from our college age guests to my 91 year old mother! I was literally shocked to see my 91 year old mother on the dance floor with her hands up in the air! She danced the night away, so to speak. All of our guests complimented us on the great time they had at the reception and we heard comments like, "It was nothing like the last one we attended where no-one danced!" I would highly recommend DJU for your wedding reception or event. They know how to keep the party going!

DJ's Unlimited was everything I wanted and more for my music selections. I had a lot of guests come and tell me how much they enjoyed the wedding and that they had never heard such a great selection of songs. They were amazing!!! We used DJ's unlimited for our Reception (DJ, Photo Booth, & Up Lighting) When my wife and I went in for a meeting we went over all the details and in there meeting room we also got to pick the colors for our up lights (easy)! The night of the Reception our DJ was AWESOME... did everything we wanted and more! The lighting was perfect and the Photo Booth was a big hit!!! DJs Unlimited was professional, timely, and provided the services I was looking for. They made my wedding extremely fun, played all the dos and stayed away from the songs I didn't want. The DJ took note of the atmosphere and kept the party going for 6 hours. It was fantastic!

I could not imagine a better DJ and emcee for our wedding. He was very flexible and communicated well with me, my fiance and my parents before, during, and even after the event. We also rented a photo booth and uplights from DJs Unlimited and everything was PERFECT. Our guests raved about the photo booth and how much fun it was. The photo booth attendant was wonderful as well. He manned the area all night and kindly assisted our guests. The uplighting was beautiful and looking back, I cannot imagine our wedding without the added touch of purple lighting in our reception venue (the Grand Ballroom at the San Luis). We used DJ's Unlimited for our wedding this past Sunday and Jason was our DJ. We could not have asked for a better experience. We sent in our program sheet and then met with him about two weeks before our wedding. Jason had great suggestions for ways to make the day special and songs to add in. On the day of, he was on time, smiley, and did a fantastic job!! Jason met with me before the ceremony to ask a few last-minute questions and was in such a great mood that it put me at ease. He did both our ceremony music from a CD I provided as well as our reception. I was secretly thrilled when the best man told me that Jason wouldn't play his song request (he had asked for a song we had on the Do Not Play list). I told best man to ask for something else and was psyched that our instructions were followed. Throughout the night, if we needed something, Jason was there. He wasn't in our faces but popped up at just the right moments to check in with us. Everything went so smoothly from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DJ's Unlimited and Jason specifically to any Houston bride!

We booked our DJ through Avalon Music, and could not have been happier with our selection. Sky Mike was our DJ, and he was great. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, including things completely out of his responsibilities, such as drinks, our meal, etc. He kept the party going all night, and everyone had a great time! DJ's Unlimited was willing to work with us on all of our music, including the Texans entrance song that we used for the introduction of the bridal party. It was perfect, and I could not have asked for anything more!

I discovered DJs Unlimited at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza. What caught my attention was the fact that they also offered a photo booth package, which was something I really wanted at our wedding. Because of visiting their booth at the extravaganza, I got an insanely good deal on both the dj and the photo booth. The photo booth was such a huge hit at the wedding. During and after the wedding I've had so many friends and guests tell me how much fun they had with the photo booth. Even my grandparents got in the photo booth and took silly pictures!I thought our DJ did a great job. He didn't play all the songs I listed on my "20 songs to play" list, but he played enough of them and others to get people on the dance floor. I also booked it so that the DJ would do our ceremony music as well. We didn't do the traditional wedding music but instead picked more current music for us to walk down the aisle.

I am a wedding coordinator and have worked with many DJs for many years. DJs Unllimited is one of the best companies that I have worked with. The DJ that I hired for my wedding was Jason Fajkus. He was so helpful and great to work with. I had many requests and he was great with everything. I can't even tell you how many times I emailed him and changed things around and he was very responsive & helpful. At my wedding we had a band also and kind of had them work together back and forth & I was pretty worried about it but it couldn't have tuned out better. He assured me that everything would be prefect and it was. I would recommend him for anybody! Thanks again for everything Jason!!!!

Seriously, several times I asked him to do something and gave him only seconds to respond or change something and he did. I couldn't believe the level of service he performed. And our guests had a great time because of his expertise. Everything was perfect. I would recommend him to any one wanting to have an exceptional wedding reception!!

Our first, individual DJ had to cancel working my daughters wedding about 3 months before the event due to an illness. We immediatly contacted DJ's Unlimited (as suggested by our photographer) and they were GREAT! I felt very comfortable making the arrangements and my daughter had a super time meeting with them to discuss the itinerary/ music. In fact, the entire wedding and reception was based on that particular itinerary. Great service and instantly made everyone comfortable! Used them for wedding music/cocktail hour music/dinner music and the dance. Super, super DJ group! Highly recommend DJ's Unlimited Productions.

We were married on 5/29/10. We had the most amazing wedding. I can't tell you how blessed we were to have Jason from DJ's unlimited to DJ our wedding. Every single detail from start to finish was exactly how we wanted. Jason really listened to what we wanted. Fine details were so important to us and Jason worked hard to make sure every detail was just the way we wanted. Jason was incredibly professional and articulate. He suggested we have a photo booth and honestly at first we really weren't interested, but decided to rent it. We are so thankful for Jason's suggestion because when we received our photos back I can't begin to tell you how precious these pictures were. DJ's Unlimited was highly recommended from several people. We talked with and eventually booked Jeff to do our wedding. Jeff was very enthusiastic about DJing our wedding and you could tell he really cared about doing a good job. He called before the wedding to make sure we were okay with all of the song selections and timing.At the wedding, Jeff had a very, very professional setup. Some other weddings we have attended, you could tell the DJs were somewhat amateur. Jeff was well dressed for our wedding and always acted in a professional manor. Jeff was extremely personable and was always able to accommodate any special request. We had requested Vanilla Ice on the spot for the ice cream bar we had and he worked it in perfectly. Dj's Unlimited did our wedding back in April, and I must say they did a GREAT JOB!! From start to finish, easy to work with. We booked them about a year before, and every time I called to check up, they just pulled up my date and had everything down. When we went in for our meeting, they walked us through every step and told us what was usual for song selections, but said we could have whatever we wanted. The night of our reception the dj was with us the whole night making sure we stayed on schedule, which was great because time was going by so fast. Not only was the DJ John amazing----he played the music i wanted, he helped keep my on schedule and was flexible with us being a bit behind because our ceremony was behind. THey did pink up lights that made my whole room look amazing, they brought in a projector and showed my video for me. Also we rented a photo booth- Which was the favorite of the day. They brought the cutting bored for the pictures and and all of our guest got to take there copy home and put the pictures in our guest book. There was always a line- the guest loved it and they were very helpful!!! I would use them again--- they kept my guest entertained and happy!

Sky Mike was the DJ at our June reception at Hotel Galvez. The music never stopped and he abided by our requests. He made sure that we enjoyed every minute of our reception and was constantly checking to make sure that we had everything we needed. I am the last in my family to get married and people commented that our reception was the most energetic and fun. My husband and I didn't have to worry about any lull in the music. He was so professional and an absolute blast!

DJ's Unlimited provided both our ceremony music and reception music. They are experts at providing music at weddings that they left me with very few worries. The music was great and everyone at the reception was on the dance floor.

DJ unlimited helped save my wedding... we had booked another DJ before them and they ripped us off and lied about being a preferred vendor with our venue when they were not.... So last minute we went with DJ's unlimited they gave us bang for our buck. They did everything we asked and made the day so fun! I can't thank them enough!

I was really shocked to read some of the other reviews listed here. We had a great experience with DJ's Unlimited. We did pay the extra money to have Jeff Raines himself as our DJ, which was worth every penny. The DJ for a wedding is probably one of the most important things you can choose. He is Master of Ceremonies and sets the tone and mood for the course of the night. Jeff was fabulous, professional, and attentive. He played everything we asked for and he knows how to work a crowd. We could not have been any more pleased with the job he did.

We were very pleased with the services provided by DJ's Unlimited. While they were a preferred vendor at the venue we were using, I would highly recommend them to others I know. The DJ played a very good mix of music which kept the crowd dancing all night long. He also stayed with the provided time line from our venue to keep the reception paced and on time. Wonderful!

From helping to coordinate the music for live entertainment (TORO from Houston Texans) to calling out couple trivia during the night... to then incorporating special tributes to family members- Jeff did it all. He was very professional during all facets of the evening including his attire and comments. The extra funds to book Jeff are well worth it!!!!!

Our DJ was Jeff Rainey and he did a great job for our wedding reception. We had a quartet for the wedding music, then Jeff came in and took over for our reception. He was very professional and played all the music we wanted and more! Did a great job providing microphones and also getting the receptions going for a great time!

This vendor was awesome and the DJ they provided us with was even better. Turns out he is a local traffic reporter for a local radio station, Sky Mike. He appeared genuinely concerned that we were able to have the best event possible. He provided lovely, appropriate music for the ceremony and dinner and kept the guests dancing afterwards. A nice touch he used was inviting all of our guests to the dance floor to participate in the bridal toast. I would hire Sky Mike and use DJ's unlimited the next chance I get and would recommend them to anyone. They are good at what they do and make sure all the details are considered before the event.

This company was great to work with, whenever I had a question about the ceremony or reception music, all I had to do was email or call and they were very responsive. They let you choose from a huge data base of songs, and if they don't have something you want, all you have to do is send them a copy and they'll play it for you. I loved this company because they offer suggestions for music for differents parts of the wedding and they were so personable on the phone. During the wedding, my DJ was upbeat and friendly and got people on the floor and dancing. This company is also VERY affordable compared to other dj's in the area. I highly recommend this company.

We booked the DJ very early, but they did everything we asked for and they followed our instructions to the letter! After having been to a lot of our friends' weddings where the DJ played music that was inappropriate (or even music from their "do not play" lists), we were really impressed with the service we got.

We had Chip and he was FANTASTIC! He had everyone dancing and having a great time! So good that we asked him to see if we could go another hour, and he said sure! So we jsut paid him an extra hour at the end of the night. He was fantastic!

DJU Productions is amazing. They were the DJ at my daughter's quince and the music was awesome. The kids had so much fun and there were no dull moments or songs. They also did the lighting and it was beautiful. My daughter and I were very satisfied with them. I recommend them for weddings, quinces, or any other event. They have a few djs, so they will find you the perfect fit for your event.
