Tim was great! He really listened to our needs when we went to see him the first time. As for the wedding, he was the best DJ ever! Everyone really got into the dancing, and had the best time. We requested "Music everyone knows the words too", and he played a great playlist of songs. We were very happy with Tim!

As I did my research on the internet, I found that DJs to Go had a very nice price package for what they offered. I was in contact with Tim, the owner, and he set me up with one of his djs that he felt would fit our style. We met our dj for coffee and hit it off instantly. A few weeks before the wedding, we met up again to go over the details of the wedding. When the day arrived, I could not have been more relaxed because I knew that everything was going to fantastic. The music he played pre-ceremony was along the lines we discussed. To hear the music that we always hoped to hear was great, and his interaction with our guests was fantastic as well. If any of my friends are getting married, you bet I will refer them to DJs to Go. Joe Farley was our dj and he was great. :D He totally gauged the guests and played the right music at the right time. It was a total blast!!

We had Matthew Short from DJs to Go for our 9/2008 wedding. We were planning our wedding from out of town, so we first talked with Matt over the phone. He has a great British accent and had the approach we were looking for.

We met one time before the wedding and he helped us pick most of our songs for the entrance, cake-cutting, etc. He had sooo many great suggestions that we loved.

On the actual day, he was sick, but I didn't even know it until the end of the wedding as he was packing up! He was such a sport!!! and so professional. He did everything perfectly- the announcements, the toasts, etc. He even kept us on time and reminded us of what was coming up next, when we got behind by chatting with our guests. He coordinated everything with the photographers, the caterers, and the videographer. He did an awesome job!

Tim from DJs to go made the whole process easy and has no problems meeting several times with us before the wedding to make sure we were on top of things. He dressed smart and was professional throughout.I can't tell you too much about the wedding day music as it was all a blur, but all the important things happened on cue, the music volume was good. We had a slight issue with a microphone cutting in and out - but i believe it was the venue's mic and not Tims and so out of his control sadly.Most importantly, my guests had a great time, the dance floor was never empty and i think Tim filled in the blanks with our musical tastes quite well. He did struggle to get the attention of my guests during some announcements, but that could simply have been the raucous nature of my guests having a blast!!For the pricing, you can't go wrong.

Tim the owner of DJs To Go was a great value for his services. He was able to meet all of our demands and requests, including multiple slide shows and a very intricate "rap" speech given by the best man, groom and good friend of groom. He even played all of our requested songs even though he had a slight hesitation in playing one or two of them due to the song titles (but it was our grandparents fav song so we had to play it). Overall, we enjoyed him as DJ and he definitely has the ability to effectively MC a wedding efficiently and effectively -- BTW, this is a huge plus for a wedding that is spread out and requires a lot of transition from their guests! Our DJ was professional and friendly. He was flexible with playing our music and we supplied him with songs he did not have available. We didn't want the typical wedding songs so we provided him and requested specific music.

Although in the end we decided to go with a live band, we were very happy with the experience at DJs To Go. I met with Tim in person, he's very easy going and honest. They have every kind of music there is to offer and are very reasonable. They have a variety of DJs, men and women, that you can of course meet before your event. One thing I appreciated is they don't keep giving you follow up calls.

We were very happy with our DJ from DJ's to go. He was on time, very friendly and polite with guests and did a fantastic job keeping the flow of the evening. I gave four stars because the ONLY thing that bummed us out was that the song that we selected for our introduction (which had a ton of meaning for us) would not cue up. Of course our guests had no idea and our DJ knew ahead of time since he was checking everything before cocktails began. Overall we were very satisfied with our experience.

DJs to GO are great for their price. For our January 2010 wedding, we worked with Matt Short. Matt had done our friend's wedding in March so we had already heard him DJ. He was fun and laid back. Matt really worked with us and followed our song suggestions -- granted we did have a pretty detailed list of party music and dinner music that we wanted played. My only MAJOR complaint is that he messed up the first dance song...who messes up the first dance song!!?

This company was highly recommended to us by Verandas. We were very disappointed with Matthew Short, our DJ. First-the music at the beach was horrible-we couldn't barely hear it. Second-we had to wait for him to set up for our introduction which took away from spending time with our family & guests during the cocktail HOUR. Third- we had specific favorite songs to be played- he did play them but cut them off in the middle, for about three songs. For one song, the music turned off for a few minutes. He seemed great and professional in meeting but for the actual wedding day, we were definitely regretting our choice. He was an amateur/novice when we hired him.

DJs to Go is a preferred vendor at La Venta. The DJs are always professional and know how to make the party flow smoothly. They also know how to get the dance floor started.
