David and Kim are awesome photographers and fantastic to work with! We found them through our videographer, Graham at Final Frames Studio, who recommended them to us. The price and quality were too good to refuse, so we booked them immediately. They respond very, very quickly and are so friendly. I really appreciated all the hard work they did for us. They always arrived early to scout out the locations we chose for our engagement and wedding locations beforehand so they were prepared and had lots of great suggestions. We were a little nervous before the engagement shoot since we were a bit shy, but once we started, they really helped us feel at ease and we ended up really enjoying it. It was so much fun and they have such great ideas for poses and locations. We couldn’t wait to receive the engagement photos and were super excited when we saw the teasers go up on Facebook. Our friends also really loved the pictures. At our wedding, we weren’t worried about how our photos would turn out at all. We were totally comfortable with David and Kim and totally trusted them to do an amazing job at the wedding. And they did! We have absolutely no regrets about choosing dKweddings as our wedding photographers and we totally recommend them!

Let me just start by saying that there are many things that stressed me out wedding day, but photography was most definitely not one of them. David and Kim showed up on time ready to go. There was so much chaos in the house that morning and they captured it all so well and caught all the right moments, smiles, laughter, and everything in between. At the reception and ceremony they caught EVERYTHING I wanted captured without me even telling them what was going on. They are the most awesome people to work with. Friendly, prompt for everything and just overall great!

I always knew that the photographer would be one of the most important parts of the wedding. I was a little worried though after my research because all the ones I found online were super expensive and we were on a very tight budget.
We found DKWeddings on craigslist. At first we were a little hesitant, but from our very first meeting with them, we knew they were the right choice. The samples they showed us were excellent and their prices were very very reasonable compared to what I've seen. They were the first and only photographers we met with and knew right away we wanted them to shoot our wedding.
They are a husband and wife team that work great together. It's a such a great deal for what you pay for because you get 2 photographers and several different shots and angles.
David was always quick to respond to each and every email, no matter what time I sent it. At first, we didn't want to do an engagement shoot, since we didn't think we had time being that my husband lives in another state and he had very limited visits to CA until the wedding. But David convinced us and it was a great decision. We were able to sample their work and became so comfortable with them that on the wedding day we felt like naturals in front of the camera. Our engagement photos turned out awesome! Such amazing quality and breath-taking shots!
Whenever a bride tells you to soak in every moment you can on your wedding day, definitely believe her! The whole day was such a blur. David and Kim did a spectacular job in capturing every moment of our day and also each little detail we put into the wedding. My husband and I literally relived the day looking at the photos since we didn't remember too much of it since it went by so quickly. They probably took double the amount of photos we were expecting and the quality of their work was just so amazing. I honestly wish we can get married again just so we can take more pictures! =)
Overall, the photography was the only stress free part of the wedding. They always reassured me when I was worried about something by answering my questions immediately. And i was never concerned with how the finished product would turn out. I trusted them since we noticed that they are very passionate with what they do. They love taking pictures and make sure that each shot is perfect. David and Kim were so easy to work with. They are very professional, but also very fun. Our photos were delivered to us within 4 weeks (both engagement and wedding); which is definitely a lot faster than most other photographers our friends have used. Price is very good as well. I highly recommend them. We were blown away with our pictures and could not have asked for better people to work with.

David & Kim - what can I say? This duo is worth meeting and dealing with. They are fantastic, lovely, super nice people with an eye for photography. David is high energy and Kim is quiet but has big vision.

8/27/11 - Day of our wedding, they started at my house. Then, David went to the church to start capturing the moments there and Kim stayed with me in the limo. Those were some fantastic shots in the limo! They were totally not intrusive during the ceremony and managed to catch the smallest details like my grandfather shedding a tear. Our reception photos are fantastic too. I wish I would have made a list of all the other photo ideas I thought of later on but the moments that were captured spur of the moment are now memories that I will always have.

They are totally professional and respond quickly to questions. They get your pictures back so fast too. I was amazed by how fast they got us the raw footage on disk. Our album came out so beautiful too. We bought the upgraded album and it is so worth it. My parents and aunt have seen it so far and they absolutely loved the quality and were surprised by the thick pages. This style wasn't around when they got married. The photo we chose for the back of our album had one slight issue (someone stood in the way of what should have been perfect). dkWeddings (not sure which one of these fantastic people fixed it), managed to take the guy out of the photo and make it so that it was like he was never there, giving us the perfect photo after all.

The only feedback I have for this company is to find an easier way to go through the photos for ordering. An 'add to cart' button and quantity along with a link for family members to purchase would be awesome. The current system is a bit tedious but the very well priced and competitive prices (as in you will not want to order elsewhere) and the amazing quality make it worth the effort. We do have the disk and are allowed to go elsewhere for ordering photos but I don't want crappy quality Walgreens kiosk photos who's ink bleeds most of the time.

Couples - hurry up and get engaged and hire them before their prices go up further. It is so difficult to find one well priced and talented photographer in the Bay Area let alone TWO of them at these prices. Trust me, I looked. I'm just greatful they decided to move here from SoCal. (Yes, even their SoCal reviews are awesome! I read those too before making the appointment with them.) :)

My wife and I hired David and Kim from DKweddings as our wedding photographers. We were simply amazed at their work; their pictures captured every aspect of our wedding day beautifully. We strongly recommend them for your wedding. David and Kim are full of great, positive energy. We found it really fun to work with them and they got along great with our families.

Our wedding combined American, Indian, and Korean traditions and cultures. It was important for us to have photographers that were willing to learn about these cultures and capture them at their best. David and Kim were enthusiastic to learn about our cultures and it certainly showed in the final product.

David and Kim are a husband a wife team. When you hire them you get two very skilled photographers who work together extremely well to capture two angles of every moment. They can be in two places at once and the final photos we received did not miss a single moment.

We were really pleased with their system of a 2-hour engagement photo session (included in the price) several months prior to the wedding. This allowed David and Kim to get to know our personalities prior to the wedding day. From the engagement pictures we were able to provide feedback as to the types of photos we really liked and the types or poses we did not care for. The engagement photo session was a real blast for us. We brought our dog along and David and Kim captured some really great moments with our dog on the beach.

David and Kim are very professional in their actions and communication. From our initial consultation meeting, to contract signing, to engagement photos, to the wedding day, they were focused first on customer service. They were flexible in scheduling our engagement session which we appreciated.

We only had David and Kim provide us with digital photos, we did not have them make us an album (a holiday project of ours) though the samples they showed us were superb. We felt we got very high quality work and a great value for the price of their services.

We have a lifetime of memories captured in stunning form thanks to David and Kim!

dKweddings provided the best service and care throughout our entire engagement and wedding process. They were by far the most professional and responsive vendor we worked with. They were very patient especially since we kept changing our dates for our engagement shoot.

We had a 300 attendee crazy Mexican wedding and they captured all the fun and all the romantic moments that made up the day without to much guidance at all. They were all OVER the place and captured many moments that my wife and I were not able to experience.

Simply put: AMAZING!! During one of the most detail oriented days, David and Kim ensured that all the photography requirements were met and we did not have to worry about any of it! There was never a moment during our interaction with dK that we did not feel totally assured that they were up to the task of shooting our wedding. After the initial consultation, there were many more phone calls and emails to coordinate their services, ensuring there were no last minute snags. There were many other vendors that we had to coordinate with for services, and NONE of them gave us the attention that dK did. David and Kim knew exactly what they wanted to do and captured every breath taking moment of our special day, including sunset photos that made us look like we were models. Whenever there was a moment at the ceremony or reception that we hoped there would be a photo taken, there was David or Kim. Their ability to improvise and adapt to whatever we desired, in conjunction with what they already had envisioned, ensured that we received a superior product. Wedding vendors are extremely over burden and the majority of them don’t provide a level of commitment and professionalism worth the money they ask for, but dK is a diamond in the rough! They were very agile to our requests and pulled everything together into a beautiful photo shoot that gives us the memories that will last a life time! Thank you dK!!

David and Kim are an exceptional team! They are very creative, timely, efficent and produce great quality photography. The style as a husband-wife team is unique and they work very well together. David was always responsive and timely and got our photos back to use in record time. We first met them in Fall of 2010 when they captured our traditional ceremony. To be honest, I was a bit hesitant about hiring a photographer who was not familar with traditional customs, but they captured more than 800 photos of our ceremony and so many of them were on point with the traditions and various parts of the ceremony.
The pictures were delivered ahead of time and were just gorgeous! and oh so creative, they really took an ok backdrop and turned it into something just amazing and colorful in the photos.
We then worked with them for our Engagement shoot, and when it rained on the day we had scheduled, David re-scheduled immediately and made it a priority to do our shoot in time for the wedding, and was able to get our pics back to us for use during our wedding reception in record time! They worked with us through some very windy conditions during the shoot, but you cant tell from the photos, looks like just a breezy evening by the bay.
The photos were very creative, and Kim definitely has an eye for this.
We had a blast with them on the wedding day, they were timely, efficent, super polite to all of our guests who just keep walking into photos and worked seamlessly throught the day and evening. We just got our wedding photos back and we cannot believe how beautiful they are! They literally look better than anything I've seen in a wedding magazine. We have too many favorites to count and are so happy with everything David & Kim captured (around 1,800 photos)!

Not only are the pictures gorgeous.....David and Kim are so professional, easy going, and fun to work with. David always answered my questions right away, and I never for a moment had any stress about our photographers. This is saying a lot, particularly because our wedding party was enormous -- we had 3 sets of parents, my sister's in-laws, 12 bridesmaids, and 11 groomsmen. During the family/wedding party photo shoot, they organized everyone extremely well, and were incredible at keeping on schedule and moving through the portrait session quickly (because who wants to be taking portraits while there's a raging party with all your favorite people going on behind you!).

We also had so much fun during the photo shoot before our wedding. The weather turned pretty icky, but David & Kim were totally up for having fun in the rain with us, and those turned out to be our most favorite shots. They had us frolicking in the grass, jumping, kissing, twirling a red umbrella… it was FUN and one of the most memorable things we did that day.

They told us we'd get our photos in about a month and they were right on. They were so organized and just so on top of things and even got to our hotel early (where we were getting ready, before we got to the ceremony site) to take unique, artistic shots of our rings, the flowers, hats, engraved flasks, wine and other detailed elements that turned out amazing. My jeweler and florist have even asked for the photos to post on their websites.

Also, they're married and they make a fantastic team. Kim is excellent at getting beautiful panaromics and David is expert at getting close-ups. Just amazing work, at an unbeatable price!! You can't go wrong with this duo :)

It’s amazing to read all the comments and all of them speak very highly of David and Kim as they should be. David and Kim did a remarkable job not only on our engagement photos but as well as our wedding photos. The way they worked with us made every photo feel as if we were just going thru the motions and not feeling like a robot. The vibe that we got from David and Kim was very welcoming, there was never a time where we felt awkward with them, they made us feel very comfortable and my husband and David looked and acted like they were friends for years or something, that’s how comfortable we got with them.
They both were very on point and on top of everything, we didn’t have to tell them to go over there and if we wanted to they were already there. They were always on time and very easy to get in contact with, they also made us feel very important which made me feel a whole lot better, they cared about how we felt about things and how we wanted to do things. The creativity and ideas that they had made the photos look incredible, the vision they had, came to reality in our photos. David and Kim took our engagement photos, and they did an amazing job. David was very easy to get a hold of, and we were able to schedule an engagement shoot without too much issue. When the weather was bad on the day we were supposed to take our shots, David said they were happy to take our pictures, but if we wanted to reschedule for a better day, he was happy to do so. I think that most other photographers in that position would have told me that we had to show up for pics unless it was down pouring. I really appreciate DK's flexibility and genuine desire for myself and my fiance to get great pictures.

The day of the shoot came and things went extremely smoothly. David and Kim were friendly and had great ideas for shots (and they didn't get upset whatsoever when we showed up a few minutes late... in fact, they gave us more than our scheduled time). We took pictures in San Francisco and they knew where to go for several different types of backgrounds, all within walking distance of each other. My finace is can be very picky and a bit critical at times, and he was truly thrilled with the quality of the work and how many beautiful shots we received. I can honestly say we had about 40 pictures on the "short list" of ones we loved. The turn around time for our photo disc was incredible. It took them about a quarter of the time they estimated it would. Needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Unfortunately, our wedding is not in California, so we were not able to use David and Kim to shoot our wedding. However, if we had a chance to do so, I would absolutely 100% go with them. They produce beautiful, quality work at a very reasonable price.

After a difficult and unexpected year, my fiance and I decided to take our immediate family to Napa and Sonoma for an intimate wedding celebration. Everything about the day exceeded our expectations, and David and Kim were no exception. We have nothing but praise to give with regards to DK Weddings.
There were only 13 people at the event (including my husband and I). Aside from the fact that our individual and couple shots were breathtaking, I think that my absolute favorite thing about David and Kim was their ability to get shots of everyone in just the right moments...looking through our album is literally like reliving that entire magical day. Usually people find photographers from other people's experience, weddings, and people that they know. Not in our case, I was at about 5 weddings last year, and my wedding was the last one in December. I was asking around for photographers people have worked with, but then decided to search the web and see what else was out there. We accidently found David and Kim through the internet. I looked at their portfolio and website, and I had no doubt about it that I wanted them to be our photographers for our wedding. I absolutely love their style, their uniqueness, and their passion for photography. So we called them, and from the get go they were so nice, interesting, and had so many ideas for wedding photography. They really only care about what you like and what you want. We first did our engagement shoot, WHICH WAS INCREDIBLE!!! and then finally our wedding.

David & Kim went far and beyond our expectations! Very talented and professional! It's only been 2 weeks and already saw some teasers on FB! Love their work!

I do not know where to start. David and Kim are amazing! I found them on craigslist and didn't know if they were going to flakes. Quite the opposite! From the very first meeting they were pleasant, upfront and personable. We booked immediately. I couldn't believe how affordable it was. I thought oh, we will just basic wedding photos. Once again I was mistaken. Our package included to photo session, an engagement session and the wedding day. WoW!

My husband and I like to think outside the box so we used a 2010 Camaro in our engagement photo shoot and David and Kim made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and modelish (not sure that's a word). We had the best time. they took and endless amount of photos. The pics were ready in less than 2weeks and the DVD of all 300 pics were mailed. That's right 300 pics. WoW!

For the big day Kim and David arrived as scheduled and captured every single moment of the day. It was amazing. Who need a videographer when you have David and Kim! Our wedding was 8/22/10 and they have already posted all pics to their private gallery. 912 photos! Simply Amazing! I love them. I am so excited that I chose them to memorialize a day I want to remember forever. This was was probably the BEST DECISION made for our wedding beside the venues and DJ Tempoe. If I could give and infinity amount of stars I would. They are just that damn good!

David and Kim are a husband and wife team that's somewhat new to the professional photography business (engineers by day!), but not to creativity and style. We checked out several other photographers and decided on DK Weddings because their prices are reasonable, their equipment top-notch, and their professionalism unmatched.

David and Kim make an exceptional photography team! They are extremely professional and have great creative vision. My husband and I used their services for our engagement photos as well as for our wedding. They gave us A TON of photos and have the skills and vision needed to get us unique photos that really captured the special moments during our special day. Their work during the day was seamless and the seemed to just know where to be to capture each moment from the perfect angle. They captured wonderful candids that made me cry when we were looking back through our photos--things I never even knew happened. They instantly got a feel for who we were and that really showed.

My favorite part of working with David and Kim is that we got SO MUCH MORE than the typical cookie cutter wedding photography. We even had many guests at our wedding say they wished they had known about David and Kim for their own weddings!!!

We were fortunate to find them during their special promotion, but when it comes to hiring a photographer, there's much more than just the price that you have to look for. With dkweddings, we were delighted to see the quality and detail in their photos. Another great part about dkweddings is that you as the customer have full rights to all the high resolution pictures. No watermarks so you can print your own pictures or have them professionally printed ! I was definitely turned off by photographers that made it a requirement to have to go through them for every (marked-up) details.

We had two engagement shoots. The first was in Old Town Pasadena and the other was at The Griffith Observatory. David and Kim were extremely accomodating in allowing us to have the shoot the way we wanted it. And were always there to help us with our poses when we didnt know what to do...haha.

The quality of the photos came out FANTASTIC! All of our family and friends that saw the pictures were amazed with the angles, lighting and overall feel of the pictures. They definitely told a story and captured everything that my wife and I wanted to portray.

Our little photo shoot after went so well even with the rain. Later at the reception David and Kim took amazing set up pictures.They captured our entire wedding. My Husband and I absolutely LOVED David and Kim. We are a younger military couple, so having a lot of amazing photos that capture our personality is amazing. Especially because we have a lot of family that couldn't make it to the wedding. They are very good at making you feel comfortable when doing the photo shoots. My husband and I found Dave and Kim's ad on craigslist and made an appointment to meet with them immdediately. They were the first and last photographers we met with. Dave and Kim were very nice and straight forward, we knew what we were getting from them.

I was looking for a wedding photographer when I stumbled upon David and Kim’s website. Their website was clear and concise and had an accurate sample of the amazing pictures they take. David was always quick to respond to my emails and questions; he was always courteous and prompt. The contract was clear, straight to the point, and there was no fine print or hidden fees. It was a flat fee for a DVD filled with pictures, which was exactly what my now-husband and I were looking for. The day of our pre-wedding shoot David and Kim arrived early and had AWESOME ideas as to what kind of poses and shots to take. They both have very creative and know how to pose people. Our pre-wedding/ engagement pictures were absolutely amazing we have received so many compliments; everyone says the pictures are magazine quality. When our wedding day finally arrived David and his wife Kim were at my house not only on time but early ☺. They worked so hard at my wedding they were snapping shots literally all day. I was surprised to have received my wedding pictures only about 6 weeks after the event and I am so pleased! The pictures came out stunning! We were very pleased with David and Kim. We actually found them on Craigslist along with all of our other vendors. The main difference between DKweddings and other vendors was the website. The website was very clear, concise and beautifully done. Any time I had a question, David responded to my e-mail right away. I felt that any vendor that put in the kind of time and effort to create that beautiful of a site must take pride in his work, (and yes he designed the website, I asked).

We met with them and did not bother with anyone else, we booked them on the spot.

David and Kim shot both the wedding and cocktail party on Friday night and the reception on Saturday night. We received so many compliments on them. People kept telling us they could not wait to see the photos as they watched Dave and Kim and saw how may photos they took. They literally never stopped shooting.

The photos were ready to view in three weeks and they were beautiful! The hardest part was choosing. The fact that you get TWO photographers is an asset because they get every angle. The same picture (shot) gets two viewpoints, so there is ALWAYS a good shot to choose from, plus with two of them, you never miss anything, they literally shot everything. They are also extrememly nice people, very accomodating and friendly.

I would absolutely recomend them!

I just wanna let the whole world know how much we LOVE the pre-wedding/engagement pictures that David and Kim took of me and my fiance. We were both very stressed out that day... with me just getting out of a life-threatening situation and my fiance having only 2 hours of sleep after getting off a 12-hour shift in the ICU. But somehow they had managed to conceal it without even trying. We got a lot of compliments from the people we know. So far I've had 3 people telling me that they wanna use them if they ever get married. I love how they make everything so natural yet so beautiful. Their silhouettes were absolutely breathtaking!

After going through all the pictures, we were able to pick the ones that we liked most. Trust me, it wasn't easy! It took us hours to decide which ones to post on our website and our wedding portfolio. Like I said, everything was great. If we decided to omit some pictures, it's not because we didn't like their shots... it was mainly because we didn't like the way we looked! Hehehehe!

Overall, we were very very happy with the pre-wedding pictures and I'm pretty sure the actual wedding pictures would be just as wonderful. David and Kim are so easy to work with and it didn't take us long to feel comfortable with them. Their price is very reasonable and they are very committed to what they do. The best part is, we got our pictures in less than a week even though they said it was going to take them more than that. I wonder if David and Kim ever sleeps..? In short, the ceremony had to start an hour late and by the time it was done, the sun was about to set... Which means that the lack of lighting would greatly affect our photos for the wedding party group shots. We had 5 golf carts and we drove around the golf course for the picture-taking and I saw how David and Kim chased us with their heavy equipments trying to get the best shots that they could. To make it worse, most of the guys in our wedding party were drunk from the open bar while waiting for the bridesmaids to get ready so they were quite uncooperative. I felt so bad for David and Kim but they smiled all the way through and told us not to worry and that they're doing their best to get the shots that we wanted.

My husband and I were a little worried about the pictures, to be honest. But when we saw the pictures and the video that they took, I couldn't help but cry... I was happy, relieved, and amazed. The not-so-perfect-wedding looked so perfect in the pictures! How on earth did they do such magical work??? The video that they made captured all the highlights of our wedding and it was wonderfully done. I still get teary-eyed when I watch the video even though I've watched it like 20 million times!

Both Pat & I would like to say that our experience with David&Kim was beyond our expectations. They are very professional and make every effort to accomodate the newlywed's needs. We chose them to do our wedding video. They really do have a keen interest in capturing those subtle moments that make the wedding a more special memory to share with family and friends. You tell them certain specific things you would like to be done for the wedding video, and they'll make sure to do it. Just remember, they're the ones with the expensive cameras, so let them work their magic. They both are very creative and also like to receive any input to make the video a lasting memory. Photography is something I take really seriously when it comes to my big day. I love pictures and I am very very happy about the results. I could not speak more highly of the service we received from DK Weddings. They were very easy to work with, and our photographs really turned out great. I was a little concerned about the lighting both at the ceremony and the reception (either too much sunlight, or not enough artificial light), but that didn't stop David and Kim from taking fantastic pictures. WOW where to start with David and Kim. My husband and I were refereed
to them through my sister. I had a photo shoot with 7 other
