Reviews for Dolce Hayes Mansion

Really beautiful grounds. Lots of open space and grass and the mansion looks nice in the background. I would come here for pictures.
The inside ballrooms are fairly plain so you would have to probably bring in your own decor if you want to spruce things up a bit. However, the plus is that they're very large and have a lot of room.

We selected the Dolce Hayes Mansion for our ceremony and reception (the East Lawn and the Patio Room) and our day was all we had hoped for and much, much more!! We were blessed to have Liveth Ramos as our Event Manager and she worked with us (our budget, etc.) and made sure that everything came together just as we had envisioned our wedding. Liveth is a dedicated professional who is passionate about her job and making dreams come true. We highly recommend the Dolce Hayes Mansion for your wedding venue with Liveth Ramos as your Event Manager.Thank you, Liveth!Dolce Hayes Mansion San Jose, CA

WOW! What a great place to have a wedding. We had a small (60 people) wedding, so we were able to use different rooms of the mansion. Im not sure how it would be for a large wedding but for our size I highly recommend it. The prices were great and its all inclusive...no hidden charges, which was really nice. We knew exactly what we were paying when we booked. The ladies where great with all the details...I had nothing to worry about. Theres also no need to hire a wedding coordinator or even a day of coordinator. Everything was well organized and went very smoothly. The day was so amazing!

Kudos to the staff for being so gracious and great at communication. Us brides definitely appreciate responses to our emails and phone calls! Dolce Hayes is a hotel that looks like a majestic mansion on the outside. It's a great place for outdoor pictures and can acommodate a pretty big group!
The main downside was the ballroom just looked like a big room with no walls. I felt like I was boxed in. Also, they book multiple events in one evening which makes the reception feel a little less special.

We had our wedding at Hayes Mansion in May. The location worked out great! We were the only large wedding that weekend and it felt like we had the whole hotel to ourselves. The day of service was great and the food (dinner and hors d'ouvers) was delicious. We had the ceremony on the East lawn, the cocktail hour on the hayes terrace, and the reception in the ballroom. The decor was beautiful but we did add lighting to dress up the large space in the ballroom.
The only down side was the communication before the event. The coordinator was not very detail orientated and often difficult to get in touch with. It caused some frustration as I wanted to get everything taken care of way in advance. All the details were taken care of perfectly by the day of and the staff (especially the coordinator)helped everything go smoothly. It just would have made me feel better to know that ahead of time.

Sheri Mclaney, the Catering Sales Manager, at Dolce Hayes Mansion was really helpful. I wouldn't recommend the downstairs room for a reception, but if you can book the patio that is the way to go. :) We held the ceremony on the grass out front and then held the reception outside on the patio. It was a beautiful event.
