Dolce Salon & Spa/Dolce Barber & Spa

This is a really unique location. It is on the 3rd floor of the Dolce Salon and Spa. You can bring in your own food or have it catered by anyone of your choice. It is really affordable and all in all a great place! My wedding was perfect even though I had a small budget!

I choose Dolce Salon/Spa in Chandler for my hair and makeup for my 11-11-11 wedding.
A few weeks prior I had my hair and makeup trial.... highly recommended! I had a halloween party that night and my look couldn't be more perfect! Amanda created my makeup look that was something out of Hollywood while Rochelle styled my updo like something out of Brides Magazine.
I will definitely be going to these ladies again.
Thanks much to the wedding coordinator staff for letting my 9 girls and I hang out in the cafe little area. It made our experience so very special.

Being that my wedding was on the Sunday of Labor Day, I was very nervous when my regular hair dresser was unable to do my hair. I decided that instead of having someone come to the bridal suite at the hotel, that I would go to Dolce at the Scottsdale Borgata. I had never had my hair done there, just my nails, and I was slightly nervous.
I loved that Dolce was open at 9am on Sunday. They were able to do all of my bridesmaids hair and my own hair at the same time. It was very time efficient. Marissa did my hair and she was an absolute dream. She was flexible, listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me a gorgeous half up, half down style that complimented my face and my naturally curly hair. Everything happens for a reason and I was meant to go to Marissa at Dolce the morning of my wedding ;-)

My daughter had her reception at the Dolce Salon, third floor at the Peoria, AZ location. This venue is so beautiful. Tryon and Blaise were so accommodating and always available to us. They took care of our every need there. And this location is so unique and personal, exactly what my daughter wanted. If you are looking for something different than a plain, large open room, this is the place. The decor is truly "Dolcefied" and the price is very affordable. Friends and family commented on how beautiful this venue was.

Went to Dolce to get my hair and makeup and all 3 bridesmaids hair done. The quality of service was great and they were willing to work around my schedule. I live out of state and my hair stylist was willing to come into work on her day off to fit me in. Also, i went with a level 2 hair stylist, and i would have thought she was a level 10 by the way she did hair. If i were you, i would opt for a lower level and save money, they all did an outstanding job!

My bridemaids, jr bridesmaids, and flower girl all had our hair done at the Chandler dolce and it was such a fun morning. Jessica did an awesome job on my hair, she is so talented! All my bridesmaids looked so good, all of their hair was perfect for them, my flower girl could not have been cuter! I also had my make up done by Janae and one of my bridesmaids had Kara do her make up and we both loved it! Adding the make up appointments was one of my best decisions, it looked awesome and last all day through tears and hugs! All of the staff, especially the bridal coordinators, were so helpful in planning out a stress free morning, it was great!

I purchased 3 groupons before the wedding for Dolce and decided to get my make up and nails done for my mother, FMIL, and myself. I was so pleased! I felt beautiful and so special and pampered. The staff is so nice and they made me feel and look wonderful!! I will definitely be coming back even after the wedding!

Jen, at the Arrowhead Salon, did an amazing job on my makeup and eyebrow reshape. The bridal coordiator was difficult to get a hold of, i finally got a hold of the event coordinator who answered all my questions. The trial was great because Jen took her time with me, making sure the shades of concealer were just right and I loved how I looked after. She did a great job on my eyebrows the week before the wedding. I also bought lipstick, gloss and a compact because i loved my makeup so much.

I was very satisfied each service I received. I looked AMAZING on my wedding day and so did my girls! I would definitely recommend Dolce Salon & Spa to all my friends and other brides!!

When I went in for my trial, I didn't LOVE the make-up and hair. But when I had my day of services, I was amazed at how great it all looked. I had my nails, maek-up and hair done there and we rented the Bridal Suite. It was a fabulous day for everyone. I think my entire bridal party felt like royalty being treated so well. They did a great job. I had girls with super short hair and really long hair and they were able to do styles that suited them. I didnt love my mom's hair at first (the stylist did what my mom had asked for), so the stylist changed a few things and she looked amazing when she was done. I love my nails so much that I am keeping them for as long as I can!! I highly recommend Dolce for your wedding beauty!

Katie did my hair on a trail run for my bachelorette party and for my wedding. Both times she was amazing and made me feel so at ease. She is the sweetest person and I actually enjoyed talking with her as well. My hair is very long so I know it can kind of be a pain at times. She curled all of my hair the first time with a flat iron, but it didnt hold the best. The day of the wedding, I had her curl it with a barrel and it looked amazing. I think she used a whole can of hairspray on it. haha. She was so amazing, I started seeing Katie as my normal stylist. She and I have formed a great client/beautician relationship. Dolce Salon and Spa at the Borgata is awesome! I will never go elsewhere, unless Katie leaves! :)

Kelli at Scottsdale Dolce Salon and Spa styled my hair for our wedding day. I had a wonderful experience with my hair trial and getting my hair done on our wedding day. She was very professional and listed to the things I wanted for my hair. She improvised a little bit but always checked with me first to make sure that I was okay with the change. On the wedding day, she was calm and confident about making my hair looked great! My hair was even better than I imagined on my wedding day and I have Kelli at Dolce to thank for that. I would certainly recommend her to other brides.

I had my hair and makeup done at Dolce for my wedding. They both turned out great, especially my makeup, and they both were exactly how I wanted them.

I had my hair and makeup done at the Chandler salon, and although the work that Bernadette (hair) and Laurel (makeup) did was stunning and didn't make me look cheap or overdone. I had a bridesmaid who wanted to pay for my hair/makeup as a gift to me but Dolce had me pay for my services the day of my trial (when I had gone by myself) rather than when services were completed the day of the wedding, I tried to explain this to the girl at the desk and was told I had to pay regardless that I wasn't done with my contract yet.

Dolce was the ultimate in wedding day glamor! I was treated like a princess and the stylists and make-up artists listened and produced Exactly what I wanted to look like! They even include a trial day to perfect everything before the big day!

Dolce is awesome! We went to the Arrowhead location and everyone was so helpful and their Versa spray tan is an awesome experience.

I've been a Dolce customer for years, so it was only natural for me to turn to them at this exciting time. I had my pre-wedding nails and waxing, my day of hair and makeup, and our day after massages at Dolce. Everything was fantastic.

My acrylics lasted 3.5 weeks and were still a struggle to get off. I got several compliments from regular acrylic wearers on the quality and look of the nails. I had a trial for my hair and makeup about a month or 2 before the wedding. Everything went smoothly. The day of, everything went very smoothly as well. My hair and makeup looked exactly how I envisioned. he massages also went great and were super relaxing the day after the wedding! It was a much needed break for my husband and I.

I would absolutely recommend Dolce Salon and Spa to any couple getting married. Although they are a little on the pricey side, they always do a fabulous job!

Two of my bridesmaids, my mom, and myself went to this Chandler location for my wedding. I would NOT recommend this salon for your bridal day needs. It's like huge factory. I got the feeling that they don't care if they treat their clients well. The bridal coordinator is extremely difficult to get a hold of. She's only available every other Tuesday and Thursday, but not on the 2nd and 4th weeks and not on full moons. Haha, just kidding. But that's what it really felt like.

Our make-up and hair went okay. The hairstylists and make-up artist are the only reason I gave Dolce half-stars instead of zero stars. These ladies did do their job, and I hope they can find other salons to work for in the future. Unfortunately, they made my mom wait 1 hr between her make-up and hair. This delayed all our scheduling and it was difficult to recover from that blow.

Luckily, I made reservations close to my wedding date and never had to sign a scary contract with them.

If you have the time to do some research, I would recommend finding a hair and makeup team or one person that can do it all "on-site." You'll save time, travel time, and probably loads of money. I would pay a vendor extra to come to me, wouldn't you?

I was excited to have my bridal party's hair and make-up done at Dolce Salon. I was very satisfied with my hair/make-up along with the services completed for the bridal party.

However, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this salon for brides. They have a bridal coordinator who you can only make appointments with and half the time they cannot be reached. They have this coordinator to make it 'less stressful and more personable' and my experience was anything but. To make a long story short, there was some major mis-communication on her part and the suite that we were promised, we did not get due to another bridal party signing a contract (which I wasn't given the opportunity to sign and after I was already promised) and the fact that they paid for the suite (which coordinator did not thoroughly discuss) when suite was promised. So, if they would dump the coordinator and sharpen up on their communication skills, it would be a great place for bridal hair and make-up. However, it is a little pricey.

They did offer a limousine service to compensate for their error but considering it was a week before our wedding when this happened, I of course had already paid and arranged for limo service. Plus, I didn't want to deal with their transportation considering how everything else was going. In the end, I got a $65 credit on my account which if you've ever been to Dolce, barely pays for anything. Considering how much I paid for everything, this more or less seemed like a slap in the face. MY ADVICE: AVOID DOLCE!!

I would give DISASTER ratings if it weren't for Kendall, the stylist. She did a great job but the rest of the experience was incredibly awful. It was almost impossible to communicate with the "wedding coordinators" - there were 2 because one replace the other...and the 2nd one refused to work via email yet her phone was dead for 3 days... And the day of, the salon was opened 45 minutes LATE. So totally not impressed...

Attention all brides! DO NOT book your wedding day services for you and your bridal party at Dolce Salon & Spa in Chandler. Tonya F. is the wedding party consultant and she completely misled me about their quality of services and was not clear with me on the contract they made me sign. Do NOT sign a contract with them. My maid of honor and I went in for a hair/makeup trial and it turned out horrible. My hair was curled and then went flat in 20 minutes. My hair consultant Maurine told me, "oh we'll just make it better on your wedding day". I was so angry as my expectations of this trial was to work with me on my style choices. They didn't seem to care. As for the makeup, they did not let me choose a type and they restrict you only to their own Dolce products. The makeup was heavy and sticky. I felt like I was back in the 20th century. The only positive note is my makeup artist, Laurel, was nice.
BEWARE of their contract! They tried to make me pay for the FULL wedding day services on the day of my trial appt. even when I told them I was unhappy with their services and didn't want to come back on my wedding day. I was irate. I ended up having to pay $310 for a terrible "trial" hairstyle and sticky makeup. On the bright side of things, I would have rather wasted $310 than to have my wedding day ruined by bad hairdos and makeup. Their prices are ridiculous for the low quality service they provide. Dolce is a facade of a high quality salon/spa, but is not even up to par with Great Clips. Ladies....STAY AWAY!

I actually went to the Scottsdale location for my wedding day hair. I was extremely happy with the way everything turned out. The coordinator within Dolce made everything happen and got all 5 of my bridesmaids along with me, my mom & grandma in & out in quick time (which was important to me so that I may get back to my other appointments). I had a trial beforehand and it was such a pleasure to work with everyone at the Scottsdale Location.

On New Years Day one of my best friends got married and all of the bridalparty got their hair done at Dolce. I was hesitant at first to spend themoney on an updo, but in the end I was so happy I decided to do it! Mystylist listened to what my vision was and then gave me something that waseven better! I loved the way my hair looked, and I loved that while it wasdefidenlty special for the wedding, I didn't look like I was heading toprom! All four of us, including the bride, had so much fun chatting withthe stylist and getting prepared for the big day. It was awsome howexcited all the staff at Dolce was for her wedding, and how they all madesure that the day was relaxing and special for us! Thanks so much for sucha good experience! Leah Asuncion

This salon is clearly in the business for the wrong reasons. Their policies and contracts are written with only them in mind. They are not flexible, ridiculously expensive and do not provide the level of service they should for what they charge.

My hair looked great!!!!!! I was worried because my hair never holds curls and i watnted ringlets. They were able to do it and my hair stayed in the whole night.

The only thing was they didn't have a good schedule. My wedding was at 5pm and my appointment was at 12:30. Would have liked to had a better spot, so call way ahead of time to get the time slot you want!

I loved their hairstylist! She was great! The makeup turned out great after the trial run was a bit of a hard time trying to get the makeup artist to tone it down a little. But, what matters is that I got a great result! The service was great, too; they pamper you.

Overall this was a good experience. It was expensive, but they could accomodate our entire wedding party. Service depended on what stylist each person was assigned to.

This a beautiful salon and if you have a decent budget you should go! I went to Dolce to get a pedicure and manicure before the wedding. They treat customers very well there. When we arrived I walked up to the door and there were rose petals scattered on the floor, it was a gorgeous salon. The pricing is pretty high (for my tastes) but it is worth it to check this place out. The staff was great, however they kept trying to sell products to me and were a bit pushy at times.

I looked so great. They are magicians.
A little stressful b/c my hairstylist made me wait 25 minutes in the lobby. She was running late.

My hair was the only thing that turned out well. I used the same person that one of my friends used for the up do.

I did a trial makeup session before the wedding, good thing I did because it turned out terrible. They basically just put on a powder foundation, lip gloss, and mascara. I knew how to do better makeup than this since I was in 9th grade, after this experience I decided that I would put on my own makeup the day of the wedding. They would not refund my money for the trial makeup session or give me a credit towards other services.

The manicure and pedicure looked alright, but it was very much rushed by the person I had. I noticed that some of the other nail technicians at the same spa seemed much better, so it's obviously related to who specifically is working on you. Considering it was a bridal service, I feel like they should have taken better care of me.

After my horrible experience I looked at reviews for this salon and spa and saw that I was not the only person with a negative experience. Overall, this Spa has terrible customer service and is overpriced for the quality of service. I will never go there again for anything.

While Dolce was a bit pricey, they made me feel like a queen. The stylists did an awesome job with me and all of the members of my bridal party.

I thought for such a nice salon they would do a good job as well. I was wrong. I met with them before the wedding to describe what I wanted. When I got there we went over it again and I came out with poofball curls and bright red lips. I went home and had to tone it down before my wedding. Oh well at least my maid of honor and flower girls hair looked great!

This was VERY spendy for the services I needed:(

Not a highly accomadating facility. Difficult to get in and the price on the services are inflated.

Such a gorgeous salon for photographs getting ready, and a very high end feel. They also offer enough room for your entire bridal party to get styled and glammed up together.
