I found a dress that I fell in love with the first time that I went to Sheila. Unfortunately when it came time to order it, the designer had gone out of business. Sheila worked by my side the entire time to help me find the perfect dress and we did! I loved it more than the first one! She has the best prices in town and a wonderful selection!

I am so happy with my experience at Dolce Vita Bridal Salon. A month after I got engaged I found a beautiful dress on sale for $300 off the rack at their store. It was my size and style, and I was very happy with it.

Months later, just a few months before my wedding, I had grown to despise the dress. I hadn't lost the weight I had wanted to and had to wear a corset to look good in it. I went in to Dolce Vita Bridal in tears. I didn't want to squeeze into a corset on my hot outdoor wedding day.

Sheila and the other girls calmed me down and helped me pick out some other dresses to try on. The first dress I tried on was PERFECT. I cried, which I had not done with my last dress. The details matched my wedding theme, and it was a new design that had not been in the store the last time I shopped. I didn't even try on any more dresses.

Sheila allowed me to EXCHANGE my old dress for the new one, which helped me afford the new dress!

The selection, service, and staff at EVERY other bridal salon in Louisville does not come close to Dolce Vita Bridal Salon. If you want a harmonious, quality, and affordable experience shopping for your wedding dress, don't even try the competition. Dolce Vita is the place to go. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!

I am actually the mother of the groom. Dolce Vita helped me to find the perfect dress for the occasion. I went in there with no idea of what to get. They had me try on several and I mean serveral dresses. Then they had me narrow it down to three. Then I was able to try them on and pick my final dress. They were very helpful. They were so kind and made me just as important as the bride. I would return there again.

The ring my husband got for me was from Dolce Vita Bridal Shop of Louisville, and it was a complete surprise. I didn't know he ordered it, but he told me afterwards. From the ring itself, I would have to say that it is a very beautiful and classy ring, looks very high quality.

When I visited the Dolce Vita Bridal the women there were so helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. I tried on maybe 15 dresses and found the one that was it. Now i'm waiting to get the alterations done so that I can bring it home.

What accessories do you provide?

Which wedding dress designers do you carry in-store?

Symphony Bridal, Venus Bridal, Venus Informal

Does a client need to schedule an appointment? How do the client appointments work?

Appointments are only necessary if you cannot visit our shop during regular hours due to work schedules. Please call and we will try out best to accommodate you.

What is the typical turn-around time for a dress?

Many of our dresses can be purchased and taken the same day. Emerald and Impression wedding dresses require 3-4 months, however some gowns can be shipped sooner if the company has it in stock or a rush order is placed which carries an extra fee of 
$85-$20. Bridesmaid dresses must be ordered 2 months ahead in order to receive them in time to schedule alterations.

Do you carry new or once worn gowns?

We carry new gowns that are custom ordered for our brides. When we purchase for our brides we take into consideration every build, shape, and price range.

How often do you receive new dresses?

Frequently.

Do you provide any guarantees/warrantees of any kind?

We do not offer refunds or returns on any item unless there is a manufacturing defect.

Do you have a seamstress onsite?

There is a separate alterations business directly upstairs from our store, however we do recommend Csilla's Design Studio. She is the one of the best in Louisville and we trust her work completely. We also recommend Rebecca Vance for Southern Indiana customers and she is one of the best too. Please ask for more information.

In addition to wedding dresses, what other products do you sell?

We carry four bridesmaid lines, Mother-of-the-bride dresses, flower girl dresses, veils, and shoes for the entire wedding party. Our in-house jewelry designer can make bride and bridesmaid jewelry sets and bridal headpieces as well as handmade tiaras and combs. We make custom one-of-a-kind bridal fascinators (feather & flower headpieces) and couture veil headpieces. 
We also offer faux fur white and ivory stoles which are a beautiful touch for the bride or mother for winter weddings. Slips can be rented and we have four shapes fullness.

What kind of jewelry do you offer?

What brands do you carry?

AA Bridal, Emerald Bridal, LC Bridal. Also handmade jewelry designed just for you. One of a kind.

Is your jewelry hand crafted?

Some is. Although we carry other brands.

Do you offer custom design other than selecting the stone and setting separately?

We do beading with freshwater pearls, crystals and natural stones. No rhinestone or diamond jewelry available.

Do you offer ring sizing in-house? If yes, how long will an average custom order take, from initial contact to delivery?

No, but one of our associate vendors does.

Do you offer stone upgrades if the client purchases their original stone with you?

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes. We accept lay-away on all gowns and dresses. Dress balance must be fully paid before order is placed.
