I can't rave enough about Door 51. Honestly, I don't know if I can find words to do them justice, but I'll try. First off, their work is AMAZING. They capture the real, raw, true essence of the moment, of your love for one another, of your personalities, of the little details that make the day special. My husband and I were far from being comfortable in front of the camera, but Alex and Nicole have a way of not only making you feel comfortable, but gently guiding you in such a way that brings out the best version of yourself. I feel like our engagement and wedding pics showed the real "us" but in a way I never thought possible to capture on film. I fall in love with their work each time I go through my albums.
On top of being talented, Alex and Nicole are awesome to work with. They make a great team. I absolutely loved working with them and I look forward to working with them to capture more spcial moments as my husband and I start our family.

We hired Alex and Nicole at Door 51 to photograph our wedding, and they was terrific. Door 51 is a husband and wife team (they not only take the pictures, but they can also do make-up!), and who were recently married themselves and are true professionals. They took suggestions as to what kind of pictures we wanted to take, but also guided us into taking beautiful shots that you would want a professional photographer to capture.
Door 51 is also making our wedding album for us. It's in the "yearbook" style, so it's big and fancy. The example album that they presented to us was one of the most beautiful photo album I'd ever seen! We couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a true artist design our wedding album. Sure, it's pricey, but it's actually more reasonably priced than some of the other photographers that we considered.
Great photographs and really nice people. What more could you want in a photographer?
