We have had great service so far, have seen them at a friend's wedding and they really get the crowd invovled.

Had a great time and we are so glad we picked Tim Dorsey for our DJ. All of our guests complimented us on the DJ and told us they had so much fun. We saw some of our guests on the dance floor for at least a couple hours who we thought would sneak out right after dinner. Tim was a BLAST!!!

Simeon did an amazing job at our wedding... Our dance floor was packed with everyone from our friends to grandmothers to small children. Everyone had a great time. Was very flexible is song list and able to access almost ANYTHING for us. Nothing but compliments!!

Amazing...that is the only way to describe it. The only communication we had with Dorsey Entertainment before the wedding was through email. They seemed to know us perfectly. We had such a fun time at the wedding, the music was awesome. They played all the songs that we had requested and any songs that the guests asked them to play. I was totally impressed with them, they did an awesome job. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that wants to have a great time!!

We had Jonah Dorsey has our DJ and was great! He was very flexible and had great ideas for us. We and our guests had a blast at our reception and it couldn't have happened with out the help of Jonah. He definetly got the party started.

The best DJ I have ever seen/heard. In fact, the other wedding party in our building was complimenting on how much better DE was than their DJ. Tim was awesome, he gets right into the party and dances with you. Our families are not very big dancers to begin with, but with Tim there people you would never expect to get up on the dance floor up there for the whole night. DE is well worth the fee they charge.

People are still talking about our reception and how fun it was!!!

We loved having Tim as our DJ at our wedding reception. He even sang our 1st dance song. He is great with getting everyone on the dance floor and having fun.

I booked Dorsey Entertainment because I went to high school with one of the kids of the family and wanted to support a local business. My husband and I have a rather eclectic taste in music, and didn't want the usual popular music played (you know, songs like the
Macarena.') We spent a lot of time going through our music collection and compiling an extensive list of the songs we wanted played. I met with one of the Dorsey brothers, who was very polite and professional, and supplied him with the list of songs and also all of the songs burned on CDs. He assured me that he would play the songs we had selected. We also decided to book his sister, a professional singer, to sing a few songs 'karaoke style' as we thought that would be a classy touch.

They arrived on time, had a nice DJ booth, and were very professional. However, it became clear early on that none of our songs were being played. Several times my husband approached the DJ and requested that he play the songs we had provided him -- towards the very end of the night, I recall hearing 5 or so songs played that we had put on our list. Things like 'the Macarena' and 'Toxic' by Britney Spears were being played. Throughout the course of the night, the sister of the family we had hired to sing say perhaps 2 songs, and so softly that no one was aware she was singing.

Now, just to make clear, we made sure our list of songs was family friendly -- no swear words, nothing like Marilyn Manson or anything creepy or inappropriate. We enjoy music like the Doors, Tom Petty, and the Steve Miller Band. While I appreciate that DJs are responsible for the "life of the party," I think people would have enjoyed themselves on the dancefloor just as much dancing to the music we chose as opposed to the popular music we strongly dislike that was played.

Aftewards, my mother approached the manager of the company and we did get a partial reimbursement. If you are not interested in an experience tailored to your musical tastes, I highly recommend Dorsey Entertainment -- they are very professional and very nice people. If you want someone else to chose the music for your event, definitely go with them. But if you have particular tastes in music, go somewhere else where they are more responsive to your requests.

#1 DJ in the Green Bay Area, in my opinion. Lively, exciting, and even has a few fun games to play with the bride and groom!

He is very talented and fantastic!
