DoubleTree by Hilton Raleigh Brownstone

I had my reception at the Doubletree Brownstone. The staff was great. The service was great. The food was excellent!

The catering staff at the hotel were amazing! We stayed in the hotel the night before the wedding, and gave them everything for the reception setup with instructions of what we wanted done. They went above and beyond for us! The decorations were so beautiful, and the food was amazing! We couldn't have asked for anything more!

During all my meetings for my wedding which was held here, everything seemed like they would go on smoothly since all the details were being noted in a professional manner and the friendly staff that took care of me.
On the night before the wedding if I hadn't personally gone there at midnight I don't think my wedding would have been on schedule! Things were placed wrong (not small things- big, stage big!) with 2 staff members setting up. I let all that and more slip but after the wedding was over, I went in the next weekend to pick up items that I had left in their care for the wedding but some important things were missing. Plus, I had to make 4 to 5 separate trips just to get all of the items that they did manage to locate.
Apparently, some of them went home with another decorator, some were misplaced by the hotel staff and others are yet to be found! I almost feel like I should have gone with another hotel and things would have gone a lot smoother! I wouldn't be as upset if my things were just taken care of better! Till this day they have not attempted to replace them!
