DoubleTree Hotel - Philadelphia

The doubletree in center city philadelphia was excellent! Lisa Deluca was a pleasure to work with! My wedding day was everything that I hoped for and the doubletree played a big part in that. Everyone talked about the food and how friendly the staff was. That's all I could ask for. I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Philadelphia area.

The Doubletree was the best place we could have chosen for our wedding. I originally wanted to have a more unique reception site, not a hotel ballroom, but we had a lot of out of town guests and we wanted something central. I'm so glad we chose the Doubletree. One of the best parts about having your reception at the Doubletree is that you get a wedding coordinator for free, which was great for me because I planned my Philly wedding from San Diego. Lisa DeLuca is amazing! Everytime I spoke with her or emailed her, she got me even more excited for our wedding day. She really wanted to know what my husband and I liked and tried to incorporate it in the reception. Lisa helped me so much with the planning process, she was there to help put on my veil on while getting ready (the girls were given a room to get ready in with a huge balcony looking out on the city), and was there as we were introduced a the reception. She helped ensure all of our things from the reception (gifts, flowers, items left behind...) were taken up to our room. The bride and groom are given a free suite the night of the wedding and it was AMAZING! Lisa was a great source for vendor recommendations and because of her, I found an amazing florist and had the most delicious wedding cake I've ever tasted (she helped us get a moist cake, not the traditional pound cake). The wait staff the day of the wedding were amazing. My husband and I never had to go to the bar & they brought us anything we asked. They were all so nice & were a positive addition to our experience. I just can't speak highly enough about the Doubletree. If you're contemplating this as your reception site, stop looking! You'll be happy you chose it and your day will be beautiful!

Everything turned out perfectly and I would definitely recommend the Doubletree to any couple. We wanted to have our reception in the center city and the Doubletree was in an awesome location. Lisa was a pleasure to work with,everything we asked for, she made it happen! I got ready with the girls that morning, ordered breakfast and it was a great way to start the day. The room looked amazing and the bridal suite was humongous. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make the day perfect for us and our parents. The food was amazing, I want to go back & ask for the same entree that we served! All of our guests said that everything was delicious, from the hordeourves to the dessert.

They were great in working with us. My husband and I planed our wedding from out of town and they were so flexible. I was deployed prior to the wedding and we did our tasting almost a year out. It's not usually done that way, but they did it just for us. They venue was beautiful, lighting was great, everthing was perfect.

The staff at the Doubletree hotel in Washington DC (Rhode Island Avenue) were excellent especially Richard. Richard catered to all my needs, and ensured all my request were met or exceeded.

We had almost 300 people at a wedding reception in June and the air conditioning stopped working! There responce was "we are trying to get ahold of our Maintance department" Offered nothing, gave us four free breakfast the next day. Make sure you address some type of discount in your contract, if they do not live up to there end of the contract.

Great. There was a snow storm, but the staff was great and they provided accomodations for everyone that needed it. The wedding planner, Erin, was great.
