Lionsgate Center: Dove House & Gatehouse

I am not your typical bride. (I'm not too fond of weddings.) But the people at the Gatehouse made it a relatively painless process--they didn't overlook a single thing. On the day of the wedding, all of the little details were minded, and we were free to enjoy time with our guests. Paige and Lisa did a top-notch job, and they made sure our wedding was beautiful, fun, and smooth-running. I loved getting married here!!

AMAZING!!! They were beyond helpful and understanding. Sometimes they would not respond to calls as quickly as I would have liked but that is trivial. The value cannot be beat and my guests loved the Dove House! As did I. Everyone was able to spread out throughout the house (dining table area, bar area, cocktail table area, dance floor, living room with fire place) and enjoy the reception how they wanted to. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

All the ladies at Lionsgate were great. They were so helpful and helped us to very organized they were angels.

My daughter and son-in-law chose The Gatehouse for the wedding location. The staff there was AMAZING! Everyone was so helpful every step of the way! Leann, Erica, Lisa and Pat were awesome the day of the wedding! Everything went smoothly and cleanup was a snap! Thank you Gatehouse for making their special day so wonderful!!!

I cannot say enough about the Lionsgate Center. It is a gorgeous, unique venue and they offer so many flexible options to suit what you are looking for. The settings indoors and outdoors are so beautiful and there are many stunning backdrops for the wedding pictures. We initially weren't sure if it was in our budget, but after comparing prices and estimating totals costs with vendors at other venues, Lionsgate is extremely reasonable and worth every penny because of the value you get for your money. Their package option, which allows you to pick what you need and subtract what you do not, was absolutely perfect for us and helped make the wedding planning process fun and low-stress. All of the staff members are fun, professional, experienced, kind, and helpful. They also have great communication so you can always call/e-mail anyone without missing a beat. They were there every step of the way through the whole process and I am so thankful to them for being so wonderful and helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue! You will not regret your decision if you book with them!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Gatehouse and we loved it! It was so nice to not have to worry about a thing! They provided all of our linens, place settings, tables, chairs, centerpieces, and staffing. Everyone was so professional, and our wedding coordinator Amy was so fun and easy to work with.

My husband I couldn't be more pleased!!! Lionsgate is a beautiful!!! My husband I chose the vender package, which made everything flow very smoothly. Amy, listened to everything we said and guided us in the right directions for vendors. She was also willing to listen and actually wanted to know “our story,” which, I believe helped her to understand the type of couple we were. This in turn, also helped her suggest the perfect vendors that would “fit” best with us. She made is so easy; she made everything easy!! All of the staff is wonderful and all very responsive. Since the wedding, my husband I, have heard nothing but positive comments from those that attended. Some of the comments included were how beautiful the venue was, how well organized it was, “It is the best wedding we have ever been to.” On the say of the wedding, Amy was there guiding and helping with everything and making sure that everything went just perfect, which of course it did!! We had an outside wedding and all we can say about it is “WOW!” The grounds are VERY well kept and have lights in trees. It was absolutely beautiful. We chose the Gate House and had the most amazing sunset pictures! We would recommend this venue to anyone. Overall, we were amazed with how everything turned out. Definitely a day to be remembered!!!

The Lionsgate Center staff was amazing to work with. The Lionsgate Center has two facilities, both stunning and unique. Whenever I had questions they always called me back before the end of the day (sometimes minutes). They cross communicated super well. They were the perfect combination or resourcefulness, professionalism, and creativity. They made all of our guests including our vendors feel welcome. The grounds are stunning. It is very difficult to find a venue that has classiness without it costing a small fortune. On the other hand it is hard to find something that isn't hippie like that doesn't cost a fortune too. It is my opinion that The Dove House is one of the best kept secrets (though not for long).

Working with Lionsgate Center ~ Dove House was a wonderful experience. They were wonderful, professional and took care of our every need. They were quick to return e mails and phone calls. As the mother of the bride I felt that every detail was covered. They took great care to make sure my daughters wedding went smoothly!

Amy was by far the best person to work with us! She answered emails immediately and even let me come in to re-do my table settings! She was always there to answer questions and was there on my BIG day! We loved her!

We chose the Lionsgate for quite a few reasons. The staff from the beginning was exceptional and the vendor package is awesome! A lot of other places will have a decent vendor package, but I found that you got the biggest "bang" for your buck here. Marie, the owner was such a pleasure to work with and was very personable. She had picked our vendors who she felt were most compatible, and all but one (not a huge deal at all) were very compatible. We didn't realize that the invitations were included in the vendor package, which was a nice surprise!
Whichever staff person we met with always took the time to work with us in showing us centerpiece designs, linens and set-up. LeAnn, our day-of coordinator was truly fabulous!! She was absolutely all over it on our wedding day! I found out after the fact that there were a couple of issues that she totally fixed with ease, clearly, I didn't even notice, that is how great she was! The Lionsgate is very upfront with costs (even though it can be a little confusing) and we didn't get any surprises. LeAnn also stayed all the way until the end of the event which quite a few coordinators do not do. I didn't really care for the alcohol policy times at first, but after the fact, it was really great! I really liked the fact that you are able to ask for additional alcohol and they can easily get it with no fuss, as well as returning it. They made sure that everything was taken care of for whatever we asked, and this was the first place that we came across that didn't say NO to anything!! The on-site photography is fantastic! Their response time is a little slow, however, it is totally made up for with what they provide. We had 3 photographers, which we weren’t expecting at all! They were extremely friendly and great to work with! The food was absolutely delicious and came out marvelously! I will recommend this place to anyone that is getting married!

I had the most amazing time/wedding with the Lions Gate. All the girls there are so great and helpful. We did a full package and loved all the vendors that they matched us up with. I would not have wanted it any other way!! I highly recommend them.

My daughter was married at the Gatehouse on August 7, 2011.
The ceremony and reception went off without a hitch because this is what they do there. We were very happy with the vendor package and there were no surprises. The qualtiy of the services were outstanding. I would highly reccommend this venue to anyone that wants an affordable wedding at a beautiful setting. Great job done by all and it made it so easy for us.

Lionsgate far surpassed all of our expectations in preparing for and on our wedding day! Amy was phenomenal and provided us with excellent service! We got married only 2 months after getting engaged, so what could have been a very stressful, crazy time of planning was honestly a breeze because of Amy and everyone at Lionsgate! Love love loved it! Recommend them to all! :)

Lionsgate was a beautiful venue to have our wedding ceremony and reception! Many guests commented that they were impressed with the wedding facility and the whole wedding in general and we think Lionsgate was a huge part of that! Leanne and the other Lionsgate staff were helpful throughout the whole planning process and were always available to answer questions. Leanne was also helpful during the day of the wedding, even when we had an issue with our cake from another vendor. Something that is great, and an amazing money saver, about having Lionsgate as your wedding venue is that there is a lot of flexibility with your other vendors. Lionsgate does not have a list of vendors you must choose from and because of this we were able to choose the best vendors for us in regards to price and style. Thank you Lionsgate for truly doing everything possible to make our big day the best it could be! :)

The Gatehouse was an amazing ceremony and reception venue! I thought that all of our wants and needs were meet as far as the staff at Lionsgate could provide and if it wasn't a service they provided, they had great recommendations, ideas, thoughts, etc to point us in the right direction. Amy (at Lionsgate) was able to help me with everything I had though of PLUS everything I hadn't thought of. She made several suggestions that we ended up going with because it made the most sense for us! I highly recommend the Gatehouse at Lionsgate, the venue is beautiful and the staff is amazing!

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience at the Gatehouse. The staff, the facilities, and overall feel of the experience was exquisite from our very first meeting all the way through the wedding and beyond. My fiancée (now wife!) and I were debating our options in terms of venues and vendors. Every place we visited (and we visited many) didn't compare to the completeness -- the absolute feeling that everything was going to flow... that everything was assured -- that we felt at the Lionsgate Center. I am so happy we picked this venue! Everything turned out perfectly, the staff was great and helped out so much. I wasn't stressed out at all and felt that they did so much in helping us plan and get everything organized for our big day.

WHAT I AM RATING HERE IS THE VENDOR PACKAGE LIONSGATE OFFERS.

The lionsgate is a nice place to get married and most of the staff is professional and pleasant. I would give the venue and the wedding day coordinators a 5 star on service, responsiveness, professionalism, and flexibility.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE VENDOR PACKAGE. You end up loosing money, and they put their brides with the same vendors. Although they say it is individualized, I received vendors that were nothing like my style. I did not like my photographer (would not meet with me), florist (not what I asked for), DJ (many little issues), and caterer (good food but difficult to work with)! and I am not that particular when it comes to any of these things. Marie is a business woman, out to make money, so do yourself a favor and find your own vendors. I don't think they would offer this package if it did not make them money.

I thought the vendor package would save me some time and instead it gave me months of headaches and a wedding I was not satisfied with.

I called and stopped by with questions over and over and Paige and the other ladies at Lionsgate were always helpful and calmed my bridezilla mode. Going in to the wedding I really had no idea what I wanted aside from a tight budget and a huge cake, and Paige really took the time to explain things to me (I was really clueless) so that I could have my dream wedding on my budget. Everything turned out amazing and I wouldn't have done it any other way looking back on it.

I am so happy that we picked the Lionsgate center. From the very first encounter, which was a tour, down to the actual wedding ceremony and reception, EVERYONE was wonderful!!! I have absolutely nothing negative to say!! They even worked with us on the deposit (because money was a little tight at one point), and rehearsal times. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the LIONSGATE CENTER to anyone, for any event!!! ~A very happy Bride~

Beautiful venue and provided excellent service. We loved the "play room" where we could try out different linens and centerpieces. Because they set up the tables/linens we saved money on our catering bill. The venue was not cheap...but we also chose to have our wedding on a Saturday during the summer. If you are able to afford this place it is worth it.

The Gate House was an absolutely perfect venue for my wedding. The staff is amazing and there is so much included in the price while still allowing the bride to chose her own caterer and alcohol. It is also a really beautiful place for pictures especially in the summer.

We chose Lionsgate for many reasons: the ceremony space and reception space are in the same place, the linens, flatwear, glasswear and centerpiece vases are all included, and the flexablity of the staff. They helped us pick our vendors, did our invitations, allowed to come "play" with linens and centerpiece ideas whenever we wanted, and were absolutely amazing on our wedding day. LeAnn, our day-of coordinator was on point and helped smooth out some of the issues during set-up.
We had to pay for an extra hour of set-up time which we didn't really like but when we showed up on the wedding day there were issues with the plumbing. The owners addresses the problems right away and had someone fixing it ASAP. The water and restrooms were ready to go right as we were inviting guests in from cocktail hour. Needless to say because of this mishap, they didn't charge us for the set up time, and allowed us to stay an hour after our scheduled time (including paying our caterer and DJ to stay an additional hour). I am very thankful for LeAnn and know she worked her butt off to make sure our day was perfect. She also stayed all the way until the end of the event which is rather rare. I would highly recommend Lionsgate Event Center!

The site is beautiful and the staff is great! You will not be dissapointed to host your event here!
The only drawback is you are charged for anything that is missing/broken/etc - which in the beginning I didn't think was a big deal. At the end, we were charged for lots of missing glasses and wax on tablecloths - have someone in your group be in charge of making sure everything is accounted for before you leave. You will enjoy the venue for sure! Amy is great!

The Dovehouse was an amazing setting for our wedding. Thank you for making it a perfect day! Every single detail was executed perfectly! Marie and her staff were wonderful at corresponding via email since we were planning long distance. Their onsite managers were incredible during the wedding and ensured everyone's needs were met. Y'all absolutely exceeded our expectations! The vendors on their package were a perfect fit--thanks so much for accommodating my requests! We truly had the wedding of our dreams and would love to provide a reference to anyone considering a Dovehouse wedding. Thank you all so much!

I got married and had my reception at the Gatehouse in October 2010. Amy and Marie were amazing! All of the attention I received with coordination was fantastic! They were willing to work with us on little things and went the extra mile in making sure everything was taken care of for the day of! The bar/wait staff were great! Everything went off w/ out a hitch! We were so happy with everything we had there, I recommend this venue to ANYONE! The facility fee includes sooo much that other venues nickle and dime you for. The ability to bring in your own food and alcohol are priceless and really helped us in saving money there! Lionsgate Center is a must visit when wedding venue shopping! cheers!

I got married there on 9/6/10. I booked my wedding a month prior to the event and everything came out beautiful. Leann was wonderful! She was very down to earth and flexible. She made me feel like anything we needed was possible and not a problem. I really appreciated her help. The Gatehouse was beautiful inside and out. I got so many compliments and people asking me how I found the venue. It was truly a night to remember.

We recently had our wedding at the Gatehouse and it was incredible. The whole process from the first time we looked at the venue through our wedding was so easy and effortless on our part. The staff is great! Everyone is very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend the vendor package...it makes planning a wedding much less time consuming and stressful. Every detail of our wedding was perfect!

I just recently had my wedding here and was beyond impressed! The office staff were warm and friendly and assisted with every detail of my event. The package deal was sooo helpful in the planning process and I was happy with all the vendors. Not to mention the place is GORGEOUS inside and out!! I would recommend this facility to anyone for any event!

All of the ladies at Lionsgate are so helpful. They worked with us right up to the last minute with changes and new ideas. They were also very helpful with answering questions and advising on how to best do things (like a seating chart vs. place cards - so much easier and everyone liked it better!). Leann was especially helpful both the night before and the day of the wedding with last minute details and getting everything put together.

We got married at the Gatehouse in February 2010. I loved this place!!! We booked our wedding two weeks prior to our event and everything went so smoothly. This venue is beautiful and amazing. My wedding was perfect. LeAnn was amazing and everyone was so nice and willing to do what ever we wanted. I am very glad we used this venue. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect night!! I was a guest at the wedding and I thought this place was horrible. I thought the staff was rude. It is a beautiful location, and the food was good. The acoustics are terrible, and the DJ will talk in the mic and you will not understand him.
We were in the smaller room and had less than 150 guests. Everyone was very scattered. The room was hot, and everyone kept saying so. When I asked them to cool it down, they said, oh are you hot? We'll open a few doors (two doors) which only cooled people down by the doors. This was not a hot time of year (it was maybe 65 degrees outside) but the groom had beats of sweat going down his face.
So everyone probably scattered outside because inside was way too hot.
I saw them have a long conversation with the bride/groom/mom and dad (45 minutes). I am not sure if it was about money, or what, but I know that money was not an issue for the family (it was my immediate family). I thought it was rude and tacky to take up so much of the brides time. I could tell it was not the bride (or brides family) who initiated the conversation as they were being talked to by the staff. I hope it was an absolute emergency.
I know it is about the bride, and not the guests, but I talked to a lot of people and we did not have a good time. If I could have, I would not have gone at all.
I think the lack of control the DJ has over the vib makes a major difference. The many rooms and confusing layouts makes it easy for a relatively small group to spread out, and hard to find people.

We got married at the Dove House on 9/25/09 and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding day! The staff at Lionsgate was amazing from start to finish. We used the vendor package & we were so happy with all of our vendors. The staff was extremely helpful with guiding us in the right direction based on what we invisioned from the very beginning. The staff at Lionsgate is very responsive to all questions / concerns. You can tell they all have a lot of experience in the industry and we felt like they really care about making your wedding day special. The wedding flowed very smoothly. One of the things we really liked about Lionsgate was that everything that you need for your wedding day is right there on site! No rentals, no hastles! I would recommend Lionsgate to anyone. What a very special wedding venue!

We loved our venue! It is so beautiful and charming. We worked with several different people at the facility, and each one was really helpful. Our day of event coordinator though, really had no personality and wasn't really eager to help. Cost-wise-- it ended up being a lot more than we had originally planned. They tell you about the taxes and gratuities, but in the beginning when it isn't all added up, it doesn't seem like much.

We were married at the Gatehouse and it was a beautiful venue for our ceremony and reception. I shopped around and it had everything I wanted-beautiful grounds for the ceremony, numerous photo ops, an air-conditioned reception area, and they allowed us to bring our own alcohol which saved us a lot of money. The other thing that was so reassuring for me, was that they had everything we needed, I didn't have to rent tables or chairs, or linens and they take care of everything. I was able to visit the venue several times with my sister, my mom, DJ and others. I was able to play around with the centerpieces and linens to make sure my ideas would work. They were always responsive to my phone calls and emails. There were no surprises on our final bill-I really don't have any complaints.

I recently got married at the Gatehouse and I cannot tell you enough how great they were. The location is beautiful, the staff is fantastic, and the vendors they provide were great.
I highly recommend the vendor package. All the stress that I saw my friends go through when they were getting married never happened! It was so easy to plan my dream wedding because the awesome Gatehouse staff did most of the leg work. They find vendors for everything and then all you need to do is meet with them and let them know what you want. The only thing you need to bring is the alcohol which saves you money. The vendors they chose were fantastic, especially our caterer Greens Point Catering. The food was amazing and their staff was the best. So, my wedding experience was perfect, and I give a lot of that credit to The Gatehouse. Thanks!

The Gatehouse was an awesome venue. LeAnn our MC was on top of everything and helped us throughout the night to make sure everything was going as planned. We were able to contact the Lionsgate people with any questions we had at any time.

This is the most wonderful place! The setting is beautiful and magical. The staff is the best I have ever dealt with on any level. This is the place to have a wedding, reception, special event, etc. They are the best!!!!!!!!

My advice to anyone looking for a rating on any venue-when you are on a review site scroll to the very last page as you will get a more accurate review. All the great reviews seem to come first.

DAY OF WEDDING- SITE REPRESENTITIVE COMES TO ME AND SAYS SHE SUFFERED A CONCUSSION. As sorry as I am for her, why is she here???? She immediately tells me not to worry as she has some new girl shadowing her. After that, I saw our representative very little throughout the night?
NONE OF THE ANNOUNCEMENTS WERE MADE- like last call !! None of them I repeat.
FEW WEEKS BEFORE WEDDING- Owner of this facility telling us how she hates her husbands ex-wife and her goal, to be married to her husband longer than the first wife-HOW PROFESSIONAL IS THIS? WE WERE A LITTLE DAZED AND CONFUSED AFTER THAT!

Also I would pick a place that gives you longer than 4 hrs. with a stiff upcharge for going over.
Marie convinced us the photographer would be 1/2 hr tops, and he was really good, I'll give him that but it was soooo much longer and really cut into our reception. Go with your own instincts!!!!!

Having our wedding and reception at the Gatehouse was the best decision we ever made. Across the board, the quality was fantastic. The biggest thing is that all of the staff were wonderful. Every time that we had questions or needed advice, they were happy to help. AMY WHERRY WAS WONDERFUL and helped me feel calm and in control during the whole experience. I did a full package with them and they booked all of our vendors according to our needs and we got to work personally with all of them. It made everything so easy and we loved all of the vendors that they matched us with! On the day of the event, everything went smoothly from beginning to end, with all of the vendors taking care of our every whim. We are so happy that we had our wedding here. It was very low stress and we knew that we were in good hands.

We loved the Lionsgate! The staff and location truly made our wedding perfect. From the start, the entire staff was very helpful and curtious to me and my family. They went above and beyond to help us each step of the way, from planning our table settings to helping me figure out the order of my bridesmaids. And they are open on weekends, so I didn't have to take days off work to plan with them. LeeAnn was especially helpful and patient. The day of the wedding went without a hitch. The tables, chairs and decorations were set up exactly how we'd planned. Our guests loved the unique design of the buildings, too. One guest said the Dovehouse reminded her of a classy night club - a nice break from the sqaure banquet halls you find at hotels. Overall, I would highly recommend the Lionsgate to any bride and groom.

I loved Lionsgate Center, we had our wedding and reception at the Gatehouse and it was perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they were there every step of the way to assist with anything we needed. We felt it was a great value compared to a lot of other venues we checked out. We did the vendor package and were so happy we did, it took all the stress out of the planning. Everything was wonderful the site manager was awesome and was very helpful with everything! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a venue.

THIS WAS THE EASIEST AND BEST WAY. I LOVED THE WAY THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE HANDLED EVERY THING. ALL I DID WAS CONTACT THE VENDORS THAT THEY PICKED AND MAKE DECISIONS AND EVERY THING WAS TAKEN CARE OF. IT WAS BY FAR STRESS FREE AND FUN. THE DAY WAS BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT...

The Gatehouse was a beautiful venue to have our wedding. However, I do NOT recommend using their vendor package. All of their vendors were a disaster the day of the wedding, except for the caterer. Nothing went as planned and the on-site manager was worthless. Throughout the entire process they kept saying "don't worry about it, we take care of this or that" whatever it is you are asking, their response is, "don't worry we take care of that." They do not!! Please be advised no matter how much they tell you they will do - pay attention to all the details yourself. They make you feel stupid for being concerned about all these details and yet at our wedding not one thing was carried out as we had asked or planned. Plus, everything felt very rushed. It was all awful. If I had extra money laying around I would like a re-do, however, that is not a possibility. Its a day I cannot get back. Overall, the location was beautiful, but the vendors were awful for a hefty price tag.

Lionsgate was great to work with. They have a beautiful reception site and responsive coordinators. The price of the vendor package is hard to swallow at first, but well worth the money. A full meal and bottle of champagne in your hotel suite after the reception is worth a lot and we spent an hour finally eating, drinking and catching up on the evening.

Marie is very flexible with options and really understands where brides are coming from. The wrong DJ showed up at our wedding and we got a full refund. Our first florist was awful and they let us switch at no charge. Nice to have a middle man there to defend you if something like that happens.

One downfall is how strict they are with the timing of when you get your reception supplies in and out of the venue. Our family and friends were left with picking up all of our boxes and booze. I wish they would allow us just a little more time to get our stuff out. Just be aware of this and have it well planned who is going to pick up things.

Beautiful venue with a great staff. Amy helped make the process smooth and painless. We had the ceremony outside in front of the beautiful fountain, and the reception inside in the new atrium. They were able to make every idea we had come to life. They provided all linens, vases for centerpieces, dinnerware and mixers for the bar. I couldn't ask for a more perfect day!

The Lionsgate Event Center is an outstanding venue. The quality of service and professionalism of the staff goes beyond expectation. I have had 2 events at the Lionsgate and both events exceeded my high expectations. From the moment we decided to book here the staff went over the top to help me with invitations, decor ideas, ceremony details, and were an amazing help with creating a reception that was not run of the mill. I was very particular in what I wanted and did not want and the staff helped me to finalize really important decisions with ease. Both events were perfect. I look back at my pictures and am thrilled of the memories I will have forever. I would recommend the Lionsgate Event Center for any bride and groom as they are very flexible, professional, humorous, and most of all dedicated to making one of the most important days of your life one to cherish.

They were absolutely amazing!!! Incredible service, place, decor, the list goes on and on. They were even very gracious and helpful when we would stop by unannounced to ask questions! The price was fantastic too! I would use them again and again!!!

Planned a Wedding with Lionsgate Center and couldn't have been more happy with the facility the staff and the vendor package. The staff works with you very in depth about what exactly you want and they make it happen! I have been around friends and family that have planned weddings at other locations, and they dont help you what-so-ever they are there to sell you the facility and thats it, you are on your own. With Lionsgate they are there to help every step of the way. They even delt with my mother-in-law's constant phone calls with questions and minor changes with a smile. If they can make her happy they can make ANYONE happy

It was the best day of our lives! It was awesome and I wouldn't change a thing. From start to finish we had great experience. The staff are so friendly and experienced. They include so many rental items that you don't have to worry about added costs, running out of anything and the stress of things not showing up that day. Even included in the price are the non alcoholic beverages and the ceremony music with coordinator!
Their offices are open so much that we could always get in to see someone and ask questions. They gave us the flexibility to decide if we wanted to hire our own vendors or add a very reasonably priced vendor package.
We toured a lot of facilities and Lionsgate included more than any other place we toured. Our pictures are beautiful and you can tell they spend a lot of time and $$ keeping the facility looking beautiful.
All of the office staff are wonderful...Leanne, Marie, Amy, Sabrina, Sarah, Molly...all of them are helpful, fun and know what they are talking about!!!! We were paying for our own wedding and felt comfortable that that price was the price and it was. By the time our wedding got here we felt like we were friends with everyone in the office.
Not sure what expectations a few of these reviewers had. Some people won't ever be happy and find things to be unhappy about. I suggest you go to the Lionsgate and tour for yourself because our event was flawless. OXOXOX

The Lionsgate Event Center is a very beautiful place to get married. My pictures were incredibly gorgeous because of the background I had. However, They are very expensive, and do have hidden fees that are not listed on their initial price quotes. The wedding coordinators they provide are very inflexible and will not work well if you have another planner/coordinator involved. For instance, my fiance and I had a personal friend who was a wedding coordinator and wanted her to coordinate things for us. When we signed our contract with Lionsgate we were told that we would have to work with the coordinator they provided. She made things miserable for us because she insisted on having the last word and would not disclose information to the entire planning party. She ended up pitting my mother against my personal friend/coordinator. The other thing that really torqued my fiance and I off was the fact that they are extremely inflexible with last minute changes and where and how you can place things. If you have a very creative and independent flair I would not reccomend this venue because you will end up with a headache that not even alcohol can cure!

Everyone at Lionsgate is really friendly and super helpful. We used their "vendor package," which I highly recommend. They sat down with us and got an idea of what we wanted for the wedding, then made arrangements for all of our other vendors (catering, flowers, dj, etc). They provided a day-of coordinator that made sure everything was going smoothly the entire night. All-in-all, I feel like my husband and I made an excellent decision by using Lionsgate Event Center. It was a dream wedding.

WOW, this place is a must to visit!! They are extremely flexible with the planning and focus thier goal on pleasing the customer!! Your needs will come first and not for more/extra $$!! I have NO complaints and would highly recommend. The staff is exceptional!! You can have your dream wedding here, the way you have envisioned!!

We loved this event center. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful in planning our perfect day. Many of our guests complimented us on choosing such wonderful venue for our wedding/reception.

This is a beautiful site, and I really enjoyed my wedding here. The staff really made it a great experience, and helped keep things running great despite glitches out of their control. Only suggestion is to be sure to get a big block of time for the reception and wedding rental- we had both at mine and the time was a bit scrunched- we could have stayed longer but we had to clean up and get out so the next wedding could arrive.

We were married in January and I wanted to have the ceremony outside if the weather was appropriate. The staff at the Dove House were very flexible in making arrangements for either scenario and let us wait up to the morning of the wedding to make our final decision to hold it outside. Everything turned out perfectly and I couldn't have been happier with this facility.

Our Wedding planner Amy, provided by the Dove House, was who made the experience perfect. When we were engaged I did not want a long engagement and we planned our wedding in 2 months and it was perfect. There was not a single thing I would change. They provided the linens, the center pieces and best of all piece of mind. Amy was there to ask any questions we had. We also ordered our invitations through the Dove House.

Great company to work with! Truly a one stop shop for your wedding if you want it to be. Great venue, great location, great staff!

I personally have not attended a wedding here, but the setting is charming and delightful - reminds me of country manor homes! It is a beautiful venue and one that photographs gorgeously! From what I have heard from brides who have attended ceremonies and receptions there - they LOVED it!

We do numerouse weddings every year at the Lionsgate, and not only is it one of our favorite places to DJ, they have some of the best staff in the business. Always a pleasure to work there!

I have known Marie of the Lionsgate Center for many years. She is truly an amazing person with an incredible business sense. She knows the industry inside and out. I would recommend working with Marie and her staff anytime. Her staff is professional, personable and know what they are doing.
