Just a note of thanks for a wonderful evening at the Downtown on Irons.
My family there that evening to celebrate my niece's graduation from High School South. We had such a great time! The food was stellar, as was the service. You have an incredible service staff - they are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Everyone was absolutely amazed by the food - from appetizers to desserts!

Downtown on Irons has catered a few fundraising events for us over the past year and we are frequent diners also. The menu is creative and fresh, and the food is always exceptional. The restaurant has a very cozy and warm feel to it while the staff is extremely professional and knowledgeable of the menu which always features seasonal dishes. Whenever we have dinner here, we always leave feeling as if we've just had dinner at an old friend's house.

Downtown on Irons is a full service catering company and sit down restaurant.
Downtown on Irons is located in the rear of the building located on the corner of Main Street and Irons Street in Downtown Toms River. It provides ample parking on property and in the free parking lot behind us. Downtown on Irons received the last three star rated restaurant in Ocean County. The dining room can accommodate up to 75 people which is prefect for a cozy dining experience or a small private event.
Chef Greg Manning has worked in Toms River for the past decade having run the kitchen at Jeffrey’s for five years and also owned the Old Corner Deli for many years. He also is currently running the kitchen at The Toms River Country Club located on Washington Street.
The menu selection changes every three weeks to utilize the local seasonal ingredients. We offer an e-mail service to insure that our customers have the current menus sent right to them. The restaurant is a BYOB (bring your own bottle). Tuesday through Thursday Downtown on Irons offers a $27.00 per fix menu which includes appetizer, dinner, and dessert.
