Reviews for Chapel of the Flowers

We had thirty girls to work with for our Bachelorette Party and we lost control until Kristy stepped in. She helped plan and organize the entire evening while including a party limo for the girls to have safe transportation. It was a night to remember. Thank you Kristy

I did a lot of research for my Vegas wedding. It was hard to find both a nice chapel with good photographers. After reading all the reviews, we chose Chapel of the Flowers. They were awesome. They arranged everything including flowers and even the tux rental. The minister was funny. The photographers were awesome (you can only use the Chapel photographers). It is a quick ceremony which is what I wanted (approx. 10 mins.), but they made sure they went through every detail with us. They have live internet viewing for people that can’t attend. I chose the 2.5 hour photo shoot on the strip. I was worried because there was a boxing fight at MGM and it was Cinco de Mayo. Somehow our photographer found spots on the strip and it looks like there are no people in Vegas. The pictures are beautiful. I would check their website out. It’s very detailed. I started with questions on live chat. Michelle helped me plan everything. She was so helpful throughout the whole planning process. She answered every single question I had. She helped me plan exactly what I was looking for all through email and a few phone calls. She even helped pick our 5:30p ceremony so we could have day pictures and night pictures on the strip. The only thing to remember is you have to give tips to everyone so work this into your budget. The wedding chapel makes sure you are aware of this. Our wedding day was better than I expected. My husband was impressed at how everything turned out! Dealing with all my craziness was worth it for the perfect day!

My husband and I searched over 200 chapels in the Las Vegas area, Pennsylvania, and Lake Tahoe. After researching all of them, we found that The Little Chapel of the Flowers was the most affordable and flexible.
We are so blessed that we did! They were terrific from day one to the last moments of ordering our wedding pictures.
The staff are professional, personable, so ethusiastic with wanting to make our wedding the best that we could ever image it to be.
Our Wedding Planner was excellent. Robin answered every question, concern, email, and call. Her wonderful personality helped with our decision for choosing Chapel of the flowers. And when we met her in person, she was just a fantastic person to be around and work with in a stressful event as our wedding couldn't have been.
You will be very pleased with this chapel if you decided to have your wedding day...

Since we had come all the way from Germany to get married in Las Vegas, we were a little worried at the beginning if you can plan a wedding only via the internet. Let me tell you: Yes you can!
From the beginning on, our planner Archel did a wonderful job. She answered all our e-mails within shortest time possible and really gave us a good feeling.
Everything worked perfect, better than we had imagined. Our wedding was on Thursday, so there was not so much business as on Friday or Saturday, and could really enjoy every minute on the property.
Doug, our minister, found wonderful words and included our personal requests that we talked about before.
Danette and Meg took the most beautiful photos we have ever seen. We hat only a small ceremony package but upgraded it with the Calla Lilly Photo Package. We can only recommend this to everyone. Don´t try to save money when it comes to photos. They are really a lifetime memory and the photographers really understand how to take beautiful pictures. We are usually not fans of posing and being photographed. But Danette and Meg provided such a relaxed atmosphere that we loved posing for them. Also, the Lifestyle Pictures are amazing and sometimes even more beautiful than the posed pictures.
We got a lot of compliments for our ceremony and the wonderful pictures and we can only pass this on to Chapel of the Flowers.

Loved the Chapel. Don't be put off by the surrounding area - once inside the gates, you are in your own oasis. Loved all the staff, photographer and minister. The photos were amazing. I saw the slideshow and couldn't possibly have selected just 40 based on our package and didn't want to spend the $795 prior to the wedding for all the photos, plus ownership of the photos and the slideshow. BE WARNED - don't sign up for the full photo package at $795 prior to your wedding. You'll be offered the same deal for $595.00 when you view the photos after your wedding. This is the only negative I can say about the venue. We had a lovely, wonderful day and couldn't have picked a better venue.

Married on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 .... (Victorian Chapel) ... Mitch's son got married the next day in a different Chapel. So (2) Las Vegas weddings for the Maurer family. *We researched all the Chapels in Vegas and decided on CHAPEL OF THE FLOWERS. *Make sure you complete your Marriage License forms on-line and don't forget your conformation # and pay with cash .... 2 lines for online people/ 1 line for forms to be filled out and both lines were long. * Make sure you buy a VIDEO of your ceremony.... and pay for the extra viewing days (worth it for your family and friends to couldn't make it) * Limo transportation was outstanding !

We were so incredibly impressed with COF. From the day we scheduled our ceremony to the day of our ceremony they were amazing. Our coordinator called or emailed us every couple weeks to check in. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and didn't make us feel like we were rushed and herded in and out like most vegas chapels. For the minimal cost the service was exceptional. We definately reccomend this venue. We would have not changed a thing.

My husband and I just got married at Chapel of the Flowers and it was AMAZING! We are a young couple that wanted something fun but still elegant and this was absolutely that! The staff was great, other than we did have one issue with the picture package we choose but my father got it worked out! Also it was completely worth it to have the first look service! I didn't see my groom until the doors opened and my dad was walking me down the aisle. The minister was amazing! People at home were watching and the first thing they said was how great he was! He made both myself and my husband more comfortable! The ceremony was beautiful and perfect! We then took pictures which our photographer was AMAZING! We have wonderful pictures of our wedding day b/c of her. And she took into account the fact that I wore my cowboy boots which are a big part of me and took a great picture with them in it. It took her laying on the grass to get it, that is going beyond for a couple. My husband and I can't say enough great things! We are already talking about when we will go back for a renewal and we have been married 4 days! haha! Thanks again Chapel of the Flowers

The staff at the Chapel of the Flowers is wonderful. My husband and I had so much fun planning our ceremony and it went off without a hitch. The ceremony, flowers, and the cake were exactly what we wanted. Our friends and family at home raved about the ceremony streamed over the Internet; many admitted to shedding tears during the unity candle lighting. Our coordinator, Michelle, was in frequent contact and readily answered my numerous questions. The photographers, Alyssa and Meg, were fabulous too! They were able to get hundreds of shots (we upgraded to the Sweet Pea package) and accommodated our ideas including signs and sock/shoe shots. Doug, our driver, called us exactly at the stated time and picked us up promptly. He gave us some tips and suggestions on the way to the chapel and kept the car cool in the hot summer sun. Our minister, Roger, walked us through all of the steps and explained the ceremony in detail. It was very comforting at a stressful (but exciting) moment. Please pass along our gratitude and we look forward to working with the Chapel again in another few years.

We were married at COF on 2/14/2011, a very busy day for COF. Our ceremony went off without a hitch, everything was EXCELLENT. My customized bouquet and grooms boutonniere, turned out better than I imagined, they were fresh, smelled great and lasted a long time. We also brought our own music and all the songs were played exactly as requested. Our minister Al was awesome, he asked us how we wanted our ceremony performed, and he did an amazing job at that, while also incorporating our children and a poem into our ceremony. We weren't rushed, everyone who help us that day, from our AWESOME wedding planner Courtney (who was there to help from the beginning), up until the Limo driver's Doug and Jason, all were awesome. Our photographers Vanessa and Shanna were also amazing; they took their time taking our photos and made sure we got pictures taken in all the spots we wished. Everything turned out great, all I can say is: "BRAVO Chapel of the Flowers". We can't wait to return in the future for a vow renewal.

Shanteria, I think I was just as excited about your Wedding as you were! It was an absolute pleasure helping you plan all the details - all the way down to your custom "Shanteria bouquet." You pulled off Old Hollywood Glamour like never before and the photos Vanessa took of you in the studio are absolutely angelic!! Congratulations again!

From our enquiry to our big day and the photography session the day after, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff at the Chapel of the Flowers. we were made too feel like we were the most important couple getting married there.
The day was truly the most memorable day for us and our guests both those that had travelled with us and those that watched from home!
The Chapel and its grounds are stunning and we would advise anyone getting married in Las Vegas to do it at the Chapel of the Flowers!

My wedding at the Chapel of The Flowers was simply flawless!
First of all, I was able to easily plan the entire ceremony online, from another country. The wedding planners were very kind and answered pretty quickly to every single one of my several questions.
On the wedding day, everything went on exactly according to plan. My six rose hand tied bouquet was so charming. The whole staff was very friendly and made us feel like there was no other wedding but ours. Our minister (Van Dunson) was wonderful! I thought our wedding would be somehow rushed, since there would be another ceremony 30 minutes after ours, but that didn't happen at all! It was all very smooth, sweet and classy.
We had also pre-purchased a 30-minute onsite photo session, the second photographer (the lifestyle one) and the photo CD. I'm not a big fan of posing for pictures, but the photographers (Megan and Paul) were so nice and made us feel completely at ease. They took absolutely amazing photos!!! I've heard from many friends that the photos look like they came right out of a bridal magazine!
I just can't say how happy I am to have chosen the Chapel of The Flowers for my wedding!!! The entire place is so beautiful and elegant, and the staff truly seems to be happy to help you with your big day!

It was a pleasure to share in your ceremony. Thank you for your review, I passed your comments along to the staff and they are very grateful. You were a beautiful bride – glamorous, yet natural. Megan and Paul captured so many sweet moments in your photos, but my favorite is the one of you two by the tree. You're looking down and he is whispering in your ear. It looks like no one else is around and you two are just savoring this happy moment! Congratulations!

The Chapel of the Flowers was great to work with. I was able to plan the whole ceremony package online, received a beautiful, full bouquet of flowers, photography and extended online viewing for half the cost of a package at one of the hotel chapels. Our coordinator Michele was very helpful and accomodating when we needed to push back our ceremony time by an hour, and when we asked to pick up the flowers before our evening ceremony.
The ceremony process itself was very easy and efficient. We provided our own music which was timed perfectly with the ceremony, the officiant was very personable and made our ceremony seem very personal (he managed to touch on the subject of shoes without knowing of my love and extended collection of footwear, it made for a cute, memorable moment during the ceremony!) and our photographer Emil took some amazing shots of us. We still can't decide which photo to select for our 11x17 printout!
Our only hiccup was with our DVD. They accidentally printed Mr. & Mr. on the DVD cover! lol! They fixed it right away and gave us a corrected one before we left the grounds. We're a very easy going couple so it gave us a good laugh! All in all, we were very impressed with the COF and would highly recommend it to other brides.

Michelle, thank you very much for your review. I looked at your photos and I love the ones under the archway with the chandelier, but I also think the ones in the glass gardens are so modern and cool. I see what you mean about having a hard time deciding on a image for your 11x17! Congratulations again!

Little Chapel of the Flowers was amazing!!! My total cost was about $1000.00. I had 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. All had roses. The chapel was very elegant and accommodating. Vanessa was our photographer and she was amazing. She caught the best photographs. My pictures frames are full!!! We bought the cd AND the slide show they made for us. Maura helped us review the photographs. She had a great personality and never made us feel pressured to buy more than we wanted. Everything about this chapel is elegant and inviting. I was very worried before the consultation but after the consultation I felt so much better about everything. Thank you Chapel of the Flowers for a smooth and amazing experience!!!

I remember seeing you on property! You were gorgeous - everything a Bride should be! (I love the red shoes too!) I took a sneak peek at your photos and I love the one at the Veranda, where Vanessa shot through the waterfall of you two kissing! Congratulations and thank you for your review!

From day 1 these guys have been great! They answer all questions promptly and they are not pushy.
We were a little disappointed the day before our wedding when we went there to see the grounds and fill out paperwork. The grounds were a lot smaller than what they looked like in the pictures.
On the day of our wedding everything went smoothly and we had a great time! The consultant and photographer were great! We didn't feel rushed and we loved the ceremony! The minister was absolutely wonderful! He asked us a few questions before the ceremony and incorporated them into his speach. We loved him!
We purchased an additional photo package and the cd, it was so worth it! Our pictures were beautiful!
We would recommend this to anyone interested in getting married in Vegas!!

I am so very happy we chose to get married at the Chapel of the Flowers. Originally we were looking at getting married in one of the hotels, but on searching through the internet come across this beautiful chapel. We live in England so had to arrange everything via email contact. I have to say that communication from the wedding coordinator Rondee was fantastic. She replied very quickly to my emails and sorted out any problems I had.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful, from how the chapel was decorated, to the minister which married us, he was fantastic! We had family who travelled with us from England to see us get married and they all say it was one of the nicest weddings they had been too. Our photographers were fantastic and we loved the pictures so much we brought them all.
When we tell people we got married in Vegas as they all automatically say "Did Elvis marry you!". When we show them the pictures they are so shocked at how beautiful it looked and so many people didn't think that you can get married somewhere so beautiful in Las Vegas. I would not have chosen any where else to get married, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

We got married at The Chapel of the Flowers on July 24th and we couldn't be happier. Our coordinator Rondee was totally awesome. She helped me with any questions, concerns I had and even helped me pick the options that best fit us. We had purchased the traditional wedding package, deluxe first look with an a la carte 30 minute photo shoot, since we were purchasing the photo cd. Matt and Alyssa were our photographers, they took so many great pictures. They captured all of the important moments perfectly. They were very easy to work with and even were very patient with our kids. Our limo drivers were great, the flowers were perfect, the ceremony was great. Our wedding turned out to be everything that we wanted and more. I didn't have to worry about booking limos, florists, photography, videography, officiant, they were a one stop shop. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is wanting to get married in Vegas, for the best price and still very classy! From the first phone call I made to them till we picked up our pictures, we had nothing but the best experience! Thank you Chapel of the Flowers for making our day very memorable!

I loved this place. It was so perfect for my wedding. I especially loved that they had the live streaming so that our friends and family back home could view it. Our coordinator (Michelle Myer) did a fab job with helping to make our day sooo special. In my opinion, it is the best chapel in Las Vegas. I recommend this place to anyone looking to get married in Las Vegas. I also recommend the photography. Anybody looking to get married here, please please please get the CD so that you can get all of the beautiful pictures they take. Our photographer (JC) did an amazing job, I am now regretting not getting the CD from the beginning. After I seen the pictures, I was blown away. Great job

Everyone at COTF was professional, courteous and friendly. The Victorian Chapel is a beautiful place for an intimate wedding. Our minister, Jerry, performed a very moving ceremony. The chapel grounds offer many areas for great photos and our photographers, Megan & Julian, took wonderful pics. Robin, our WC, was always very responsive to calls and emails.
I would highly recommend COTF.

Chapel of the Flowers is a awesome venue ... HANDS DOWN!! My husband and I were planning a Las Vegas destination wedding ceremony all the way from Durham, North Carolina - the "Chapel" team were able to anticipate all of our needs!!
I have been shouting the praises of this venue ever since we returned home from Nevada ... sending out numerous e-mail messages to pals who are interested in a intimate, classy, ceremony where guests and family alike will be comfortable and proud to be participants in the event!
My husband and I are thrilled with EVERY aspect of our wedding event at Chapel of the Flowers on May 6th!!
Positively,

Planning an out-of-state wedding for me was a bit nerve racking. We were unable to see any of the places we were considering. We had read the reveiews for several chapels in Vegas and had it down to 3 when we decided on the Little chapel of flowers. We booked it online 3 months out.
A couple of weeks before our wedding I had called in to see that everything was set and add a couple of flowers for two new attendants we had added to the wedding. The wedding cordinator was shocked we had not acutally talked to them yet and went over our whole package with us. They setup an appointment with us for the a couple days before the wedding to finalize everything and see the grounds. We also were considering adding Elvis singing at our wedding not officiating as we had seen on other weddings, they said they could set that up. I was also concerned about my hair and they recommended Glamsquad and setup the appointment for the stylist to come to our hotel before the wedding. We talked about pictures as we did not have any ordered other than the ones that came with our package. We added a small package as we were unsure of how they would turn out. On our wedding day they picked us up with our wedding party from the hotel and from there took care of every detail. Everything was just perfect!!! and the pictures we were not sure about? We went in the next day to look at the pictures and they had a slide show setup and we both cried through the whole thing. Hats off to the photographers they took over 300 shots and they were all Awesome!!! We would highly recommend the Little Chapel of Flowers!

Gorgeous grounds and the staff was so helpful I was shocked. It was the easiest process in the world becuase of everyone there. The day we got married there were 40 weddings that day, and everyone was so pleasant and sweet. No one seemed stressed. They were seriously a well oiled machine. i would recommend everyone to check them out if looking to get married in Las Vegas.

Little Chapel of Flowers were very professional and especially helpful via email as EVERYTHING was booked over the internet from N.Z. I made one phone call to talk to my planner just for my own piece of mind. I ordered our tux & gown, photography, cake (OMG best cake I have had in my life!), virtually everything I needed except hair and make up.
The tux & gown was through Ilene's who provided pick up by limo from our hotel to Ilene's then to the courthouse in clark county to get the marriage licience then back to the hotel again. (All organized for us by our planner)
The wedding day ran smoothly, the minister, the owner and the planner(s) were all lovely! I really enjoyed our photography session with Megan Keadle - she is great! We had an off-site shoot also and the photos were worth EVERY PENNY!
My wedding day was everything I dreamed of, we married in the magnolia - I loved the chapel, the grounds - so many different romantic places for shots, dove release - HIGHLY recommend this and the photo CD - that was worth it!
So fantastic we will be back when our candle burns down for renewal of vows - No Doubt!
Paul & I had the opportunity to spend some time with Melody (one of the planners) and she is a 'go-get-em' girl. We enjoyed the whole experience.
Happily ever 'faster' ; P

My husband & I had our wedding at Chapel of the Flowers in July 2009. We were very pleased with the service we received from the Chapel. Our wedding coordinator - Melody was great. She responded to each & every one of my emails within a days time. Everything we ordered for our ceremony was perfect from our yellow roses, dvd of the ceremony, pictures, officiant, limo driver & photographer. Our wedding was broadcast over the internet & our guests had no problems viewing the ceremony.
I would highly recommend using this chapel if you are using a chapel not located inside one of the hotels/resorts. It is the best looking in the area north of the Stratosphere.

Absolutely wonderful experience. My fiance and I didn't know what to expect after booking over the internet but once we got there, all worries were put to rest.
Flowers were beautiful. The officiant was top notch - we've had nothing but compliaments since returning.
Ability for our family and friends to watch via internet was so cool.
Photographer was outstanding... she was great to work with and took amazing photos.
I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a classy Vegas wedding.

This was by far the best Chapel in Las Vegas. It was so elegant and the price was a great value for all the services.

I can't thank this place enough. After getting frusterated with trying to plan a big traditional wedding in Atlanta, I said, 'forget it'..Vegas. I found this place by 'google.' I was really impressed by their website, but even more impressed with the online reviews I read..42 in all. Everyone gave them 5 stars and now I see why. We had 30 people and were married in the Victorian Chapel. These people delivered on EVERY promise they made, they were responsive, professional and all for the right price. If you want to make sure that your wedding day is elegant yet inexpensive, this is the place to go!

I am so pleased that we chose this chapel. the quality of the grounds is like no other chapel on the strip. The packages to choose from we priced well and fit all types of couples. I must say the staff made everything perfect since we were running late and it was raining. From our limo driver to the photog, to the pastor, and right back to the driver we were greated and made feel like we were the only ones who existed that day. Our pictures were amazing and i am blessed to have been married there.

There are many chapels in Vegas but if you want one that is beautiful, professional and all in one service Chapel of the Flowers is for you. Our cordinator Keri Dawn was awesome. She walked us through everything answered all my questions even when I called three times a day. They booked our reception at a resturant and my guests are still talking about the food. Please give Chapel of the Flowers a call you wont be disappointed.

Perfect day! Our ceremony was simple and included the lighting of the unity candle, the ceremony location was very modern and pretty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Photographer did a great job. Photos were perfect and property grounds were well manicured and kept clean. I wouldn't change anything about that day. It was more than we expected from a Vegas chapel.

We got married in COF on the 13th of April 2011.
I have planned everything from the overseas and of course was stressed that something might go wrong. However, the staff was very responsive to all my queries and the day went perfectly.
I have changed my mind about the bouquet several times and our wedding planner (Kassandra) updated the package as many times as was necessary without any problems.
Every week before the wedding we were receiving an e-mail from the chapel reminding us about some important details needed to be complete before the ceremony. That was very helpful.
On the day, I have got a call from COF confirming my hotel room no.
I was very stressed on the big day (bride's nerves and all) and was 10 min late for the limousine. However, the driver (Tom) was meeting us with such a sincere smile and telling me not to worry.
Due to the stress, I suddenly got some red spots on my face already at the chapel..and OH MY GOD...i didn't have my make up bag with me, making me even more stressed. Our minister (Jerry) noticed this, and even though the time was quite tight, he actually found me a compact powder and let me excuse myself to the bathroom to fix my face.
The ceremony was exactly the way we wanted, nothing too religious, not too serious or too funny. JUST PERFECT!
The photographer (Alyssa) was amazing, she made us feel like a royalty while taking our photos after the ceremony, which turned to be great. So good that we bought the CD later even though we didn't plan doing it.
We were really happy that we chose this chapel as everything was up to the highest standards and we were made feel like we are the only couple getting married there on that day!

For the cost we paid, everything was great. we really liked it very nice cozy small family ceremony.

Some of my friends and family were a little skeptical about going to a Vegas wedding, but were very impressed by our ceremony, I was too. Everything went smoothly, from the limo ride to the picture taking afterwards. My parents were so impressed, they're considering renewing their vows there...lol.

I booked my wedding at Chapel of the Flowers entirely on a friend's recommendation. When I first drove past the area, I honestly felt a little depressed, since the surrounding area is, well, less than desirable. But in the end I was very happy with my wedding and wouldn't have done it any differently. Our planner was very flexible; we had a last minute need to change the chapel and they fixed everything for us without a hitch. They were very professional, and the grounds and chapel are beautiful. They even helped us coordinate our many child attendants. It was one of the pricier chapels on Las Vegas blvd, but definitely the most classy! Not a red velvet elvis in sight!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your day and Congratulations again. I have to agree that although Las Vegas is known for it's Glamour, the "Strip" itself can be less than Glamourous. Luckily, once you pull onto the Chapel of the Flowers property, it is a beautiful little oasis and you forget the other, not-so-nice, places you passed on the way! Great place to get married in Vegas. Everything worked out perfectly. I even called the morning of the wedding to change some things and they were very flexible and helped me be less stressed about the whole event.

So my husband and I didn't want a huge "big deal" wedding nor did a want to plan one! The little Chapel of FLowers in Las Vegas was wonderful! All we had to do was call tell them what day and time we wanted to get married. We also ordered A small wedding bouquet in which we need do tell them if we wanted real or fake and what colors. Had a nice down to earth weeding just like we wanted. I would highly recommend this chapel to anyone!

I planned my wedding in 3 weeks and Chapel of the Flowers did an awesome job. Great place to get married. Everything went smoothly and just the way I pictured it to be. My only problem was the photography part of the package; it did not meet my expectations. Other then that the staff was very nice, courteous, and friendly. I would return to renew my vows but would ask for a specific photographer.

When deciding on an intimate wedding for just the two of us, Chapel of the Flowers seemed the smartest choice, especially compared to other Las Vegas chapel options (as opposed to hotels, etc.). Heidi, our wedding coordinator, was easy to work with and prompt in her replies to my questions. I was able to use another Vegas florist with no problem, which I appreciated. All of the employees with whom we worked on the wedding day were wonderful: David (limo driver), Melissa (day-of coordinator), Doug (our minister), and Mike and Shanna (two incredibly talented photographers). Our pictures exceeded our expectations, particulary in terms of the photojournalistic quality of the lifestyle photography. The grounds themselves were a bit disappointing (lots of artificial flowers), but we were able to share that with the owner, who happened to visit the Photo Gallery on the day we were choosing our pictures. He was very receptive to our comments, which we appreciated. For an intimate, uncomplicated wedding, CoF is a good choice.

It was great to have everything taken care of for me. On my wedding day, my only concern was getting to the chapel. I felt like I was the only bride - even though there were many others getting married that day! I had blisters on my feet from walking around Vegas all day, and they even brought me a pair of comfy flip flops so that I wouldn't have to walk in my heels, and the flip flops even had "just" on the left foot and "married" on the right foot so that when you walked on a soft surface you left "just married" footprints. They also broadcasted our wedding over the internet flive for those who weren't able to be there. It was classy, and everything that I could have imagined.
GUEST

My wedding ceremony at Chapel of the Flowers was AWESOME. The people there are great and were easy to work with from the day I first located them on the internet. It was nice to be able to go from Florida to Las Vegas and not have to worry about a single detail.
The only complaint I have with them is that I wish they were more affordable on their photography packages. The package I purchased came with 14 candid shots of the ceremony and I added on the Sweet Pea package for $99 that came with 10 "posed" prints.
I would have loved to purchase more, but with all the expense of getting to Vegas it was just out of the question. They wanted $595 for the CD of the photos taken during our 6 minute ceremony and 20 minute photo session or $595 for the CD of the photos taken by the back-up photographer, or $795 for both.
I was able to locate a private photographer that spent 2 1/2 hours with us taking photographs at beautiful locations on the Las Vegas strip for $495. That package includes FOUR Dvd's with all high resolution images (377 of them) in color, black and white, and sepia with a copyright release, 80 prints in a wedding photo album, 3 8x10's, and 48 wallets.
The pictures with the private photographer were gorgeous, but like I said I would have really liked to have had more from the place we got married. Oh well, I knew their photos were expensive before I got there because of other reviews I have seen, maybe one day they'll realize that they would sell more photos if they dropped the prices and/or added more time to the sessions.
Oh, and just so you know you can't make any changes to the photo packages either. I got 14 included prints of the ceremony and the add-on of 10 posed prints. While the photos from the posed session were gorgeous I was not very happy with the ceremony prints, so I asked if I could reverse the numbers and get 10 ceremony prints and 14 posed. NOPE, it's not about the number of prints you get. I would have thought 24 prints was 24 prints, but apparently that's just another way to try to get you to spend more money on photos.
Don't take this review wrong. I would get married there again tomorrow. I loved it and it was a great exerience. Just know that if you plan on getting married here and you are on a budget you need to be aware of their photography prices.

I had no problems at the beginning. I had searched into this location and looked through the reviews so I wasnt expecting the problems I ended up having. I called to confirm my ceremony and it turned out that I needed to pay extra for that time and date when I had already paid for the whole thing. That package included transportation for the bride and groom only but we had our children with us, so we wouldnt be able to make use of that part of our package so they promised us a limo. The day of the wedding I called to confirm yet again, especially when we were only 2 hours from the ceremony and I had not received any information on when the limo was picking us up. Then they told me we were too far and they would not be able to come and pick us up!!!!! Needless to say I was furious! After fighting with them about not even letting me know these issues until I called myself, they sent a limo over. The ceremony was perfect. The music was good considering I had prepared my own CD but forgot it at the hotel. The minister we got was a little repetitive during the ceremony but no one really noticed. Our photographer was great, I think we could have gotten different poses if we had a better idea of what kind of pictures we wanted but either way they were great. I had already prepaid for the Sunflower packet, which is the small picture packet. You should at least get that because if you want more pictures or the CD, at least you would have the pictures to pick from, if you dont you dont get the time after to take these gorgious pictures. We ended up buying the CD with our pictures. IF there was one thing that made me chose this chapel over the others, it was the pictures, at the end thats all you have to look back at your special day and I wanted to have nice pictures.

Congratulations again Karina! I'm so glad your ceremony went smoothly and you were happy in the end. Yes, some of our smaller packages have time restrictions. The Romantic ceremony package you chose is available from 9am-noon and it includes transportation for the bride and groom only.
After reading the notes on your plan, it looks like we were able to make several exceptions for you including; allowing your ceremony to be at 7pm, guaranteeing a limousine so your family could ride together, and traveling outside of our normal pickup locations because you were staying off the "Strip." Our approved locations are advertised on the website and everything is mentioned in your confirmation email. We've since redesigned the confirmation emails to make the information easier to access, but they used to be quite lengthy, so I completely understand if you didn't read all of it.
I know your planner worked very hard to get these exceptions approved for you, so I'm very happy everything turned out beautifully - including your photos! Thank you very much for your honest review!

Staff was great! Setting was exactly as promised, grounds were well kept, and pictures came out beautiful!

As soon as we got there to the chapel from the limo they sent, everything was perfect. Although I really thought I would get a much more personal experience from my wedding planner throughout the planning process, it was beautiful. My planner also took a long time to respond to my emails on anything I asked. Everything was in order from top to bottom when we arrived from signing papers, to meeting the minister, ceremony and photographer on site. I couldn't believe how organzied they were when we got there. It was great

**MY REVIEWS ARE LONG BUT THOROUGH******** IF YOU ARE A PICKY BRIDE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND************
My husband and I were married here on 3-16-2010. If you are going to use a non-hotel chapel. This is the very best on the Strip!! They know what they are doing and do it with class. Two minor complaints: my bridal bouquet wasn't fresh. Some of the daisy's looked wilted. Lakisha tried to upgrade me to a more expensive bouquet before the wedding. I am very glad I didn't! For some brides this would have been a big deal. I didn't have time to complain because once you arrive, you have a few minutes to visit with the minister and then it is showtime. The videography in the chapel is very grainy. They really need to upgrade the video system, and get rid of the door in front of the chapel opening. The door looks tacky when you walk down the aisle. (These are very minor items!!) Douglas our minister was great. He made us feel so special and I can't thank this man enough for the wonderful ceremony he performed!!! He is very good and doesn't sound mechanical. I bet they do 75 or more weddings a day. They make you feel like you are the only Bride there.
Our photographer Joe was AWESOME!!!! I paid an extra $200 for an hour for off -site photography plus another $50.00 to stop at the Las Vegas sign. The limo driver took us to the sign and to our great surprise Elvis and his pink Cadillac were there. Joe took lots of pictures there and then we were off to the Venetian Hotel. Joe went above and beyond and took a lot of pictures!! Their photography is expensive, but much cheaper than paying the Venetian Hotel. Joe went over the hour I booked. I wish I could have had him all day. He is flexible an open to any pics you can think of. I should have printed my idea's out before coming to Vegas. I thought I would remember the poses I wanted. Never the less he was FABULOUS AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. Some of the pictures look like they belong in a bridal magazine. If pictures are your thing then you have come to the right place. There was a second photographer at the chapel. He captures the candid non-posed pics. These pictures are all in black and white, and some of my favorites were in this collection. I had already spent $1000.00 on pictures up front. The next day at the viewing they come out with another 150 pics at the cost of $200.00. I was a little upset that they didn't disclose this upfront. Of course I had to buy them. I spent over a $1200.00 on pictures, and tipped Joe $100.00. He deserved it. I used Adriana has my wedding planner, she is great. Lakisha tends to have a little attitude, and less experience. I would use these guys again! Make sure your flowers are fresh and if you have a train on your dress, have somebody hold it when you arrive at the chapel. My dress touched the ground when I got out of the limo, the bottom of the dress was black the minute I arrived. Luckily it doesn't show up in the photo's. I looked at ALL of the other chapels on the strip. They are sleazy and dirty. The only other two free standing chapels that are decent would be the Church of the West or Mon Belmi One more word of advice. You have to arrive dressed at Chapel of the Flowers. Maybe they will add dressing rooms one day. Plus their (COF) receptions are over $300.00 for apple cider in plastic flutes and an 8 inch cake. I skipped this and went to AQUAKNOX at the Venetian. It was the best food I have ever had!! ***NOTE THE WEDDING PLANNERS AT COF are very sales oriented and I was told by one of the newbies there, they have sales targets and with the less experienced planners it shows!
****SKIP THEIR REFERRAL OF THE GLAMSQUAD 702 FOR YOUR HAIR & MAKE UP****
My hair was horrible and they make-up was nothing to brag about! Every time I look at my hair in my pictures, I cry!! My hair was flat & falling down. After the COF photo shoot. I paid $150.00 to have my hair fixed again for the 2nd time. I arrived in my wedding dress at the Canyon Ranch Spa. The stylist did a wonderful job and we hired the house photographer to do some more photo's. The women in the Salon were so nice to me...They saved my wedding day. This price tag OUTRAGEOUS but what could I do?
Vendor response to review
Thank you for your review and I appreciate your honesty! We definitely do less than 75 weddings a day - that would be exhausting, not to mention impersonal. :) I'm so glad you felt like the only bride on property. That is our goal for every Bride!
Our onsite receptions may seem a bit pricey, but there is a lot of set up, coordination, and take down involved. Plus, we have to block the Gardens during that time so no ceremonies can be scheduled then. Those receptions are great for couples who just want a little extra time on the property and a few extra photos of the cake cutting, toast, first dance, etc. For brides like you, who want the full Wedding Reception experience, we always suggest an off-site location. Vegas has so many amazing restaurants and venues to offer! We have special relationships with a lot of them, so our planners can help plan the entire experience from start to finish. When trying to book a destination wedding in a town like Vegas, it's always nice to have someone one your side. Congratulations again (and I love Aquaknox too!)

My sister-in-law found this chapel online and once we read your reviews, we picked this chapel! I was not that familiar on what things to do during the whole planning process of a wedding, but Britney Najera, our wedding planner did a very good job! From the chapel to our reception, our wedding turned out great! The flowers turned our so pretty. We also like our minister, Tim. He knew what kind of ceremony we wanted, and every one of his words were inspiring. This was also my first time in Las Vegas, and as we were seeing the other chapels, we thought that Chapel of the Flowers was the most elegant. From a score of 1-10, 10 being the highest, we would rate our wedding a 10! Our wedding was stress-free. We would absolutely recommend this chapel to every bride!

They did great. I wish they would have set up a meeting the night prior to go over how it all would go down, but we went there and did it ourselves. Videographer wasn't worth they money, The cars on the strip are in the background the whole time. Photographer was great. They did wonderful at making it not look like we were on the strip, this was my wedding in vegas not my vegas wedding.

If you are getting married in Vegas, this is a great alternative to a hotel chapel. The grounds are lovely and they have the system down. I wouldn't say there is much room for personalization;however, unless you want to spend TONS of money. the grounds and chapel on their own look great though.
I brought in my own flowers, which they tried to tell me they don't allow, but they let me. I was not impressed with what you get for the price of their flowers.
Doug officiated and he couldn't have been better. Ask for him if you are non-denominational and want something sweet, sincere and fun.
their photographers are actually pretty good, but to get the prints you will again spend a fortune. we had our own photographer take pre and post ceremony pics and just took the ceremony pics that came with our package from...

Overall, we were extremely happy with our big day, minus one aspect. We weren't satisfied with our minister, Jerry, AT ALL. The limo with our guests couldn't find the place and instead of him being nice about it, he kept insisting that there were other couples besides us and if they didn't get there within 5 minutes, he would reshedule our wedding. I was already a little nervous, he could have been a little nicer and also could have acted a little more professional (which is why I docked on professionalism and also on his tip.) Also, because he was so concerned about the time frame, he rushed through the entire ceremony and skipped on our vows we wrote each other (even though we told him 3 times before the ceremony how important they were to us) We watched the DVD and our ceremony is only 6 minutes. I read online the average wedding here runs 12-15 minutes. REALLY, Jerry?! You couldn't have given us the whole 12 minutes???? Despite the minister, I loved every aspect of the wedding. The gardens were absolutely beautiful and photographed so well. We met with the director of marketing, Aimee, before the ceremony and she was such a lovely person and really made me feel at home. She kept telling me how much she loved my dress. She made me feel so special! We also really loved Vanessa. She was our photographer. The pictures were so beautiful, we ended up buying them all. When we drove to this chapel, we went past all the other stand-alone chapels and I definitely think that Chapel of the Flowers is the most beautiful chapel of all of them.

It was a wonder place to have all your worries taken care of. All we had to do was show up and it was wonderful! Really pleased with Little Chapel of the flowers.
GUEST

The chapel was beautiful and staff very helpful. The drivers were prompt and the photos turned out okay. Many of our photos were not well focused so I was a bit disappointed with that. The minister was perfect as was the length of the ceremony. The amount that was suggested for tips was not suggested but mandated, which I found irritating. We were "required" to tip a driver of a towncar $40. So the cost of the wedding ended up being significantly more than we had planned. Be aware that they do not allow you to copy your photos, you must purchase from them. Copyrights cost $495.
All in all it went great, we were very satisfied.
GUEST

I'd say that value of cost 5 stars if there was no additional charges fot this and then for that.My initial ceremony cost was 500.00 and then when we decided to get pictures from them it was another 500.00 plus video 200.00.So basically my photo-videography was more money than ceremony itself.

The Chapel of the Flowers is a great value and the grounds are lovely, which makes for nice pictures. We chose this venue because of the great reviews on the photography -- and it's true! The photography was fantastic. In particular, we enjoyed our session with Megan, who is really nice and quite talented.
Our overall experience with the Chapel, however, felt like a bit wedding factory (more so than we expected). Our wedding coordinator, Robin, was very prompt and helpful in responding to e-mails, but specific details were often forgotten. We had read online that the minister would give a surprisingly personal speech after speaking with the couple for only 5 minutes. Our minister, Jerry, gave an extremely generic speech, and had a lengthy, personal conversation with us after the ceremony. We got lost in the shuffle multiple times for the follow-up photography session (our appointment was entirely changed without our knowledge), which was a bit frustrating, but in the end we got the photos that we asked for. The head of the photo gallery department, Stella, was instrumental in helping us out. Because of the mix-up, she gave us tickets to the stratosphere, which were not honored by the stratosphere, so Stella gave us credit towards photographs instead. During our photo session, we also had a lifestyle photographer in training. We were asked to consider his photographs, which is why we had to do a phone session, but in the end these photographs were not available. Our photo gallery salesperson, Lauren, did not seem to know that we had lifestyle photographs (or where they went), and was in a hurry to get off the phone. However, she was fairly responsive over e-mail. The prices on the photographs contradicted that which was on the internet, so make sure you double check those.
On a separate note, the Chapel works with the Glam Squad for hair and makeup and can set that appointment up for you. I would not recommend using them. Their work is okay, but not great. For a little more money other makeup/hair folks would do a much better job.

Hello and thank you for posting such an honest review. I’m glad to hear that your photos with Megan met your expectations since that is what drove you to marrying with us in the first place. We agree that she is very talented. :) I do apologize that you were made to feel like you were just another couple getting married here as that is not our intentions at all. Jerry can be quite a talker and usually works that in his ceremonies with the couples quite nicely, so I am sorry to hear that was not the case for you.
Regarding your photo follow up, all that confusion is very unfortunate for you to have experienced. I’m glad that Stella was able to assist to help make things better. As to the Lifestyle Photos, we do not share those with the couples when the photographer is in training as there are generally so few that are of the quality we stand by; so I apologize those were brought to your attention only for us to then not have them available to you. However, we want you to have the opportunity to see them and have now edited them and placed them online for your review. That new photographer actually did a really nice job, so I hope you enjoy them! We do appreciate you having shared your special day with us and welcome the opportunity to discuss further – please contact Owner Dave Foote or me at the chapel should this interest you. Kind regards, Aimee

I will start off by saying that my mother in-law & 6 of our freinds & neighbors have been married at the Chaple of Flowers, so it came HIGHLY recommended.
Now, I will start this review w/ the good things & then finish w/ the heartbreaking thing... Stella (our planner) was amazing. She answered her phone/emails EVERY time I called. She was super help w/ recommendations. We ordered (& received) online view of the ceremony live (which ia a most have for your out of town guest & family), freaking amazing photos (done by Joe Peterson), beautiful flowers (except the 3 roses for our moms & sister did not have a card w/ them as they were suppose to be even after clarify the details the day before w/ the florist) & also a photo cd/slideshow/dvd. All being well worth the money!!
Here's where it all went wrong... The men's limo was 20 minutes late, so to comp for that we received our 1st sight free ($75 value), which was nice & better then the plan of blindfolding the groom. They didn't start the wedding party's music when they were suppose to (even after being asked 3 different times by 3 different people one of those people being the dj herself 5 minutes before the ceremony), so the groom & best men walked to nothing & the song was cut short because I only had a maid of honor to walk to the song.
And now for the heart breaker... We did not get the wedding vows or ring vows that we requested. Even after emailing them & then confirming, the day before in person, w/ a planner (not Stella) that they had our vows. And then on top of that (as if anything could top that)... the minister, to put it nicely, was a complete jerk. He asked "US", the bride & groom, for his tip MINUTES after we said 'I Do' & then demand the $60 "recommended" tip after only receiving $50 from the maid of honor. He went as far as to track her down for that $10.
Our wedding was amazing, please do not get me wrong!! The chapel was beautiful & the moment was perfect with all our friends & family there WOW, but now everytime I watch a wedding I cry because I didn't get the vows that I asked for. I got the genertic vows that everyone does... To love & honor blah blah blah I will never be able to replace that amazing moment, looking into the eyes of the man I will spend the rest of my life with, wanting soooo bad to stop everything & start over in order to have MY vows (No really! I wanted to stop everything as soon as the minister started w/ the wrong vows)!! There is always something that goes wrong in a wedding, but the vows... The words that are to bring two people together! The words that they will remember the rest of their lives!
I have talked to the owner, David,& to Stella & both have been very helpful in trying to make this all up to us & to ensure that this heartbreaking mistake doesn't happen to anyone else. So, in the end, would I recommend Little Chapel of Flowers to someone... ABSOLUTELY! Heck, thinking about going back & renewing our vows (the right vows). But, whatever you do, ask that they do not let, Van Dunson, marry you!!!

The ceremony was great but the photography dept was not. We were married on a Friday, they told us our pictures including the 11 x 14 pictures were going to be ready on Monday the day we were leaving. We took a cab ( we were staying in downtown Las Vegas, The Golden Nugget) and the pictures were not ready, no one knew where they were, it was like they did not even have an order for us. Anyways it was a waste of $20 cab fare to go all the way down there only to find out our pictures were not even ready. So they mailed them to us. Only our $50 11 x 14 was crinkled when it finally did show up. they sent a new one at no extra cost and blamed the mistakes on the new person quit right away and they usually mailed the big pictures in a tube. Like I said the ceremony was great the flowers were great the videography was great the limo ride to and fro were also great.

We had a wonderful wedding. I was a little disappointed that the lights on the gazebo didn't work. It was why I wanted my wedding outdoors and at night. It turned out great anyway and we got some really cute pictures.

Thank you for your review! We have completely re-lit the Gazebo area and it is brighter than ever. The entire inside of the rontunda is lit up now. I apologize that some of the lights were not working during your ceremony, but I'm so glad you liked your photos - that's what we're known for! Congratulations!

I chose Chapel of the Flowers because of their reputation. Now come to think of it, all the rave reviews are for their "quickie weddings" that flow like clock work for them. (No offense, I wish I went that route now!) Not for a $5,000 Grand Canyon wedding that takes much more planning and preparation which they failed miserably at. The only reason why we went to Las Vegas was to: get married at the Grand Canyon and have Chapel of the Flowers take care of our wedding from start to finish with no stress or worries for us. On our wedding day, the limo driver was late. He started taking us back to the Chapel instead of taking us to airport. Also, they forgot the two most important things that were suppose to be riding in the limo with us: Mike, our photographer and my bouquet! We had to go back to the Chapel to get them anyways. We missed our 1:30PM helicopter flight and had to have our flight rescheduled to 2:30PM. OK no big deal. Helicopter ride was awesome! My custom bouquet was what I asked for, simply beautiful! Our wedding was perfect. So, I was happy. We touch down in Vegas, there was no limo waiting for us. We were stranded at the airport for 30 minutes waiting for the limo. Mike (the photographer) was baffled as well. But he saved the day by taking photographs of us while we waited. He was cool so we tipped him well. All and all, happy for the most part. Then later that evening I get a called at 7:00PM from the Chapel "bad news there was no audio on your wedding video. We think the Minister accidentally turned the volume down instead of up. We can edit it- put subtitles and music." Basically, blah blah what's done is done there's nothing I can do for you. We watched the video... What a joke! It was like a movie from the 1920's. OK I just spent $5000 on my wedding and I received a video with no audio of our wedding vows. How upsetting. I'm still devastated to say at the least. I spoke to the owner. I knew he wasn't going to do anything nor did he care. This is a business and they're in it to make money! The owner kept saying that they forgot to collect the $250 for the Minister's fee from me so they will have to pay the Minister the $250 fee for me. I paid whatever was due in full! It's not my fault if they forgot to charge me $250 after the fact. Plus, why should I pay the Minister if it was his fault that we had no audio on our wedding video? I didn't get all bridezilla on them when I really wanted to! I don't have it in me since I work in the customer service industry and also own a business as well. Luckily, our photos came out beautifully in comparison to someone else’s Chapel of the Flowers wedding photos at the Grand Canyon. Thank you Mike for going above and beyond for our wedding photos! For all their SNAFU- all I got in return was $200. Is $200 enough for never being able to hear our wedding vows ever again?
Vendor response to review
Thank you for posting such an honest review and I know we’ve apologized, but we’re truly sorry for the difficulties you and your husband encountered. We have since fixed our website to direct couples wanting to book a Grand Canyon Wedding to call our offices. We strive to make all of our weddings as easy and stress-free as possible, but there are so many details with the Grand Canyon weddings that we need to have actual dialogue to truly make it perfect.
I am glad to hear that the actual wedding itself was most enjoyable and beautiful – you deserve that and the memories – and we’re glad to hear Mike was able to capture that on photos with you and make the most of your extra time at the airport.
And trust me, none of this would not be the case if you had a quickie wedding, which is not what we do. Our weddings are specialized to that particular couple with the minister spending time with you prior to get to know you as a couple and make your service unique to you. At the “quickie weddings” you mentioned, the ministers speak so fast it’s like they’re an auctioneer and as you’re walking out of the chapel, the next couple is walking in.
As for the audio, we are sorry for that and have put standard practices in place so this doesn’t occur again. We would like the opportunity to make this up to you and your husband – maybe the next time you two come to Las Vegas, you can return to the Chapel and renew your vows. It’s something we offer for free to all of our couples that have been married at the Chapel, but we can make sure to include complimentary video DVD and roundtrip limo service for you as our way to make it up to you. We realize this is the most special of days and don’t want you to have a soured memory when you think back on your wedding experience.
Congratulations on your wedding, and we truly wish you and your new husband, all the best.
Travis Allen loves to work with this chapel. They have a friendly staff. Most beautiful chapel in Las Vegas on the strip.
