Edit with Dream Cakes was fantastic! We hired her to make my daughter's wedding cake and groom's cake. Her prices are very reasonable. It was just as we expected, delivered and set up on time...and absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We selected a 4 tier wedding cake with white cake and carrot cake and butter cream icing The grooms cake was the NFL Texan Logo with red velvet cake and chocolate icing and chocolate covered strawberries all around....it was simply amazing! Yum, yum! Thank you Edit for an awesome job!

Edit did a fantastic job on the wedding cake and groom's cake. Of all the vendors the cake was the one we stressed about the most. I have been to several weddings where the cake looked beautiful but tasted awful and it was crucial that my daughter's wedding cake not only look beautiful but also take delicious. When we met with Edit she provided us with several cakes to taste along with several icings and more fillings than you could imagine. Everything tasted wonderful! My daughter described what she wanted her wedding cake to look like and Edit drew it up immediately to her specifications. When the cakes arrived at the venue we were delighted with the outcome. They also tasted out of this world! The groom's cake looked just like a xbox. It even had a controller on top. All the guys loved it!!!! The detail was amazing!

Edit was AMAZING! My cake was the most delicious thing I have ever tasted and turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. From the beginning, our experience with Edit was so positive. The cake tasting was fun and she clearly knew her cakes. We went with a vanilla cake with a lemon filling that was just divine and also had red velvet "kitchen cakes" in the back. Both were so good. I went with a buttercream frosting that she "spooned" to give it a hand-iced look. I didn't want anything too rigid or with fondant, and she understood the rustic, handmade, elegant look I was going for completely. She also delivered the cake to the venue (she works with Crystal Springs often) the day of the wedding, which was nice. She was so reasonably priced, too!
We've already used Edit for other family functions and will certainly use Dream Cakes for years to...

Edit was so fantastic to work with. Our wedding was 4 weeks away and we didn't have much time. She went out of her way to meet up with us when she wasn't even working. She provided us with samples of cake, frosting, and filling that were all delicious. We gave her a picture of a cake I saw online and she replicated the cake to the tee. It turned beautiful, the cake was delivered on time, and we received tons and tons of compliments on both the way the cake tasted and looked. We couldn't be happier with our choice. Edit is an amazing baker. The flavors aren't too sweet; the cake is really moist and soft. We even got her to bake a birthday cake for us the following day. Dream Cakes will be our go to bakery and we have spread the word to our friends and family. You definitely won't be disappointed. We are extremely satisfied with our experience. 5 stars all around!

Dream Cakes and Mrs. Edit is the best combination you'll find anywhere in Houston-Conroe area. The cake was amazing and had great success, flavors and icing out of this world, definately organic and I will recommend her for all of your events.

I didn't want a "traditional" white wedding cake and let's just say I was completely satisfied with the cake i did get. Edit's cake was actually delicious and the icing (italian merangue) was to die for. Literally, I would have bathed in it if i could have. The groom's cake was traditional and just as delicious. We get endless compliments on how good the cakes were and how they were just "typical wedding cakes" in terms of flavor (we did marble cake with real rasbery filling and italian merangue icing). Edit was also kind enough to us a generous military disount since my husband is in the Air Force. I can't wait to get our top layer remade for our 1-yr anniversary (which she does complimentary, by the way)!

I loved my cake and everyone couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the cake was! She was very nice and did everything we asked of her! I price was the best i could find and her cake was so much better than any other vendor I could find!

Dream Cakes is fantastic.. If you want the best tasting cakes around call Edit at Dream Cakes. Not only do they taste good..they are so beautiful to look at.. She is very easy to work with and such a professional. I would recommend her to anyone wanting something different for thier wedding cake or just a simple cake for whatever reason.

Edit Faris, a self taught baker and cake designer started her baking ambitions in her grandma’s kitchen as a little girl in Hungary. Reading and dreaming about exotic ingredients and flavors as a teenager ignited her passion for the culinary arts. This desire to please others palates with the delights of sweets and the artistic passion for the visual appeal creating holiday deserts at a young age helped her enthusiasm continue to grow.
She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business but her interest for physical health provided a path as a certified fitness trainer and natural healing enthusiast. Edit combined her understanding of natural ingredients and health conscious devotions with the love of baking to expand her knowledge in the kitchen. Natural ingredients in her cooking and baking led to a solid conviction that health can be maintained while continuing to satisfy the sweet tooth we all have. Yes - you can have your cake and eat it too.
Her creative passion for cake design was discovered with her 4-year old son’s birthday cake request that led to continued studies of the arts and the beginning of Dream Cakes Inc.®. Since then she has learned from renowned cake designers such as Maisie Parrish, Debbie Brown, Toba Garret and Nicholas Lodge to broaden her knowledge from the best.
