Dreams on a Dime Events & Weddings

My husband and I hired Jessica to be our day-of coordinator. We were nervous because we knew just how big and possibly crazy our wedding could get since we had over 350 guests & our friends & family love to have a good time = party! Also, there were many different elements that were non-traditional that were going into the day, in additional to a big Filipino entourage. But Jessica came through and made sure that everything was seamless so that we could enjoy the happiest day of our lives, and boy did we have fun! From the second I handed over all of our vendors information, I didn't have to deal with anything else. The day before the wedding, my bridal party, family and I were just relaxing at the hotel, hanging out and having fun and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Jessica gained my trust early on in the wedding planning process because she knew exactly how to solve and answer any wedding questions I had. She was always very responsive and always took the time to go over an and all details that I needed help with. Even though I felt like our wedding might get complicated, she never made me feel like it was and she'd just shed light on how I can make things easier. My husband and I didn't originally budget for a DOC, but now we don't know what we would have done without her. Our guests have even commented on how nice and great of a coordinator she was and asked if she was one of my good friends. To that I replied that she is :) She had our back and there is no way that we could have enjoyed our day and focused on our guests, each other and having fun if she wasn't there. She was a HUGE help before our wedding day, on our wedding day and even after. I'll definitely miss wedding planning and I'm glad I can look back and know I chose a great wedding coordinator. Jessica did an amazing job as my day of coordinator. Not only was she exceptional on the actual wedding day, but she was there everystep of the way as I planned and deliberated over every detail. My wedding was last weekend 8.2.09 and my criteria for a day of wedding coordinator were:

* experienced
* well organized
* great communication skills
* someone who can make an executive decision-in case there is a crisis
* charges a reasonable price

Jessica meets all of the criteria I was looking for. Unlike many of the other day-of-wedding coordinator that I interviewed, Jessica does not limit you to the number of hours or emails or phone calls for your correspondence-which is definitely helpful not having to keep a log sheet of how many hours you've used up leading to the 'big day'. She ALWAYS responded to my calls and emails within 24 hours which is a BIG PLUS in my book. She is extremely knowledgeable and has had years of experience with wedding planning.

I have never seen the show Bridezillas but I can only imagine news of your wedding coordinator in the emergency room the week of your wedding would turn the most gentle bride into somewhat of a monster. Jessica from Dreams on a Dime had surgery on Saturday yet managed to do handle our three day wedding festivities in the same week. If you want someone who will make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch, then look no further than Jessica.

Despite putting her own health aside to ensure our wedding weekend was a success, Jessica performed other miracles. She was always on point and kept us on schedule despite our frantic last minute changes. She served as our main point of contact and liaised with all our other vendors to ensure we didn't have to deal with the details. She kept all parties and everyone on the same page and made sure things were seamless and painless. It was extremely helpful to have her at the walkthroughs and meet the various vendors as she knew the right questions to ask and made sure they didn't bs their way out of any situation.

Jessica is straight shooter and doesn't sugar coat the situation or her conversation which is crucial when planning a wedding and also very refreshing (this is coming from a New Yorker who is feeling his "east coast edge" slowly slipping away). Anyway, I digress. Jessica did a fantastic job to keep things moving forward and always made sure we got something accomplished from each meeting, phone call, email, etc.

Having Jessica for our wedding was the best money we could have spent. Our patience, sanity, and overall well-being were in constant fluctuation during the wedding planning process and Jessica definitely helped to alleviate the chaos.

I have been working with Jessica, Dreams on a Dime and Weddings for several year and she is simpluy the Wedding or/and Event Planner you would want to hire. As a caterer, it is sometimes not easy to deal with wedding planner as they change their mind at the last minute or they spend times walking in the kitchen and we dont like that but Jessica, she is in the room, or with the bride and groom. She will work with you to make your event smooth and so perfect. Last wedding we have done with her was last Saturday at the Merchant Exchange Building in SF, and it was perfectly executed. If I get married (again !) she will be the one.

I have been working with Jessica for almost two years now, and every event i have the chance to do with her have been great success, thanks to Jessica's great organization and management. Whether she is in charge of your whole wedding, or she is just day of, she will make your life so much easier.
