Dufflet Pastries

Beautiful and delicious cake. We probably should have ordered a smaller one, but were somewhat confused by the options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to accommodate a walk-in cake tasting without an appointment.

We used Dufflet in the Beach. We got three 6" cakes for our wedding cake. We also served slab cake as our dessert. It was delicious.
Would have loved some raspberry coulis with the cakes but they did not have this.

We had a 4 tier cake with fondant frosting, delicious! They added our own cake topper which was great! Very professional, helpful, friendly. I would definitely work with Dufflet's again :-)

The primary reason we visited Dufflet and sampled their wedding cakes was because their store is very convenient for us. I had called various specialty cake places and it seemed difficult to even book an appointment. Dufflet was very easy to work with because they are not limited to number of cakes they will make in a day and their store hours are very flexible. They don't have available the same number of design selections or cake flavours, but we found one design we liked and two flavours which tasted excellent (carrot and mocha). We received a lot of compliments from our guests not only on how beautiful it was, but also how good it tastes.

Great tasting cakes and a lot of variety, but a little pricey.

We had a three tier chocolate cake with white buttercream frosting from Dufflet and it was so amazing. It's the first wedding I've been to (and it was my own) where the cake was actually paid attention to. It was gone and our planner had to turn down requests for more cake so we could save our top tier for our 1 year anniversary. So delicious. Normally at weddings the cake is ignored and people are too drunk to notice the cut, but at ours we had people talking about it for days afterwards.

Although, Dufflet has a preset offering of wedding cake designs, they customized our cake based on a picture we had from a wedding magazine.

They did an excellent job in replicating our cake, even down to the pearlscent icing!! It even tasted great too!!

Our cake was delicious! We were able to have three flavours: golden, lemon and mocha - all three which we liked during our tasting. Dufflets has a lot of standard cakes that are beautiful and we went with the Modern Blooms cake. It was simple with cymbidium orchids but looked so classic and went well with the look and feel of our wedding. I would say that the cost once you add the florals and delivery (which costs more on a Sunday) can be quite high considering its not a highly customized cake but spending time to search out a cheaper vendor was not our priority in this area. Dufflets has a great reputation in the Toronto area which we went on and were not disappointed. The one annoyance was that they do not have cake plates/stands so this was one of the last annoying things we had to deal with ourselves (in the end our venue helped us).

Great cake, tasted delicious, courteous staff and looked wonderful and for a fraction of the other cakes I found. I would recommend them to anyone.

their customer service was nothing to dote about. They do however reply quickly to emails - probably because they may use an automated system

Dufflet offers free tastings of all wedding cake varieties, and there are several wonderful choices!
