Cassidy was amazing! Leading up to the wedding he answered all of my questions and was very quick to respond, he offered alternatives and advice on all of my photo inquiries. On the day of the wedding he and his assistant were prompt and got right to work... we almost didn't know they were there as they were getting some amazing shots of us getting ready. He was great with our families very relaxed and easy going and most of all captured our day perfectly. He is truly talented and was able to get some very unique photos. Cassidy has a very artful eye and we are all impressed with his work. His rates are amazingly affordable, especially for his abilities. He was very prompt with getting our photos to us after the wedding and went above and beyond with my requests. We will cherish our photos forever!

Cassidy was absolutely fabulous to work with at our wedding! He was not only professional, but SO much fun to be around for the entire day. I would not change one thing about the pictures he took. They were so tasteful and creative, and completely captured the essence of our wedding. We really wanted to avoid the traditional prom picture wedding style, and Cassidy took it to a completely different level. He got shots I never would have dreamed of, and managed to get every single moment of the entire day. Choosing our photographer was one of, if not the most important decision we made in wedding planning, and we are SO thankful that we got Cassidy. Truly amazing at what he does!!

What can I say? BEST decision ever. Cassidy was worth every penny. From the moment I met him I knew I wanted him to shoot our wedding. Our engagement pictures? Awesome. Our wedding pictures? Magazine worthy. The best part was unlike some weddings I have been to where the photographer is up in everyone's business, Cassidy doesn't even feel like he was there. Like most girls, I studied every wedding magazine, website, blog, and anything Etsy that one bride-to-be could handle! The day I received my wedding photos from Cassidy was the first time I had felt transformed into the very bride I once admired. He made a rainy & gloomy day be remembered as a beautiful and intimate moment filled with an unforgettable rainbow. He was soft, confident, and professional, and I would have him as my photographer, if I had to do it all over again. 

Cassidy is amazing! He came highly recommended by our wedding planner and several friends and did not disappoint! We got married after the huge storms left most of NOVA without power this summer...including our wedding venue. It was hot, we were sweaty, but Cassidy and his assistant helped make the evening go seamlessly...they didn't miss a beat! This was a challenging wedding with lots of obstacles (no light, no AC, uncomfortable guests), but him and his team never panicked or complained, they brought professionalism, calm, and comfort to the day and our pictures turned out FANTASTIC...high quality shots that captured every moment....AND no one looks sweaty and hot in the pics! He helped turn a disaster into the best day of our lives!

Cassidy is an amazing photographer. I can write a review about how phenomenal the photos are. But the work speaks for itself. Cassidy told the story of our wedding through the photos and we were so pleased. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos. A friend who was invited to 14 weddings this year said they were the best wedding photos she has ever seen! And she is right. You can not top Cassidy he is the best. And the most amazing part about him is he is a great fun guy. You don't even notice he is there which is an amazing quality for a wedding photographer. And for the posed shots he puts everyone at ease. I loved working with Cassidy and I hope I can work with him again!

A friend of mine hired Cassidy as her wedding photographer and we fell in love with her photo album and quickly hired him when we got engaged. I absolutely 100% highly recommend Cassidy to be your wedding photographer!!! He got pictures of everything I wanted...except one that I forgot...and captured some special moments that I didn't even know about. He is incredibly talented with the camera and can do the traditional group shots plus photojournalistic shots. Cassidy and his assistant photog were unobtrusive throughout my whole wedding day. Also, my husband and I are camera-shy but all of the photos Cassidy took of us made us look great! Most worthwhile wedding expense by far and I've already recommended him to friends.

Cassidy is absolutely amazing. He took both our engagement and wedding photos. I would definitely recommend getting engagement photos done because it helps you to get to know Cassidy and to feel slightly more at ease in front of the camera. Plus, you then get to have even more fantastic photos.

On the day of, we did all of our formal photos before the ceremony, and Cassidy just rocked them out quickly. So, we then had time to go outside and frolic in the freak October snowstorm....which produced some of the best photos of the day.

During the ceremony and reception, you did not even notice that Cassidy or his assistant were there (a lot of people told us this too after looking through our photos) which is awesome because there really is nothing worse than an obnoxious and obtrusive photographer. Cassidy is certainly neither of these.

Looking through all of our hundreds of photos, there is no way that we would ever be able to narrow it down to our favorites. There are just too many of them. We absolutely loved...

I can't think of any reason why you WOULDN'T have Cassidy DuHon as your wedding photographer. From the moment we met, Cassidy answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease in the wedding planning process. Although he's based in DC, he was happy to travel to our wedding site in Dewey Beach, Delaware, much to our delight. My husband and I were both nervous about the wedding photos. Neither of us think of ourselves as photogenic and felt we would be "camera shy" and..well..awkward. Truthfully, the moment Cassidy arrived on the scene, we were completely at ease and he became my favorite part of our wedding day. Cassidy...from the start of our day until the minute you left you were busy all in the mix of my crazy bunch taking THE most amazing pictures...choosing a photographer for me was so important...If I remember correctly we booked you a year in advance...before I even tried on a dress..when the music is gone and the flowers die...all you have left are memories..and the pictures...and I wanted the BEST. You were simply amazing and I've been telling the world :). The amount of pictures we received was out of this world...to believe we had that many worth pictures is crazy...I warned you that we were a rowdy dancing crowd and you surely captured that in our pictures...Cassidy is super cool, very laid back while still taking charge if to get the best shot...if that makes sense...he even popped our champagne for us in limo bus! Cassidy was a joy and a delight to work with. We booked him for our May 2011 wedding in 2010 so we got him for a steal, but even then he was willing to negotiate a rate with us when we decided to hire him for 2 extra hours just before the wedding. In corresponding before the wedding he was always super responsive, flexible AND professional. He helped us find solutions to stay within our budget and adapted to the craziness of our wedding day with ease - especially taking in stride my bridezilla moments! We hired him for 10 full hours and were THRILLED when we saw the pictures (seriously, they made my mom cry!) - he was by far the best investment we made on our wedding day, hands down absolute best.

Cassidy is AMAZING! His photos speak for themselves and we were very pleased with his work. Heis professional and very easy to work with. We were very happy with the customer service overall. We were also extremely excited to view our pictures, which were put online promptly and in a format that was easy to navigate. We are thrilled with our wedding pictures and the whole experience of working with Cassidy. I met with a lot of photographers and felt like I was struggling to find someone I was comfortable with and understood what we were looking for in a photographer--until I met with Cassidy. He was super easy to work with, responsive and reassuring and a total dream the day of. He was unobtrusive and worked very easily during moments of craziness. Our pictures are terrific and we really feel like he captured what we wanted from the day. I would recommend him without reservation to any of my friends. giving only 5 stars for each category does not do Cassidy and his amazing work justice. My husband and I were looking for an artistic photographer, who would capture our day, but create works of art, rather than just random table and family group shots. Cassidy was the most wonderful person to work with. I was slightly shy in front of the camera and he definitely helped me through our engagement session, which allowed me to be completely comfortable the day of. My husband and I can't stop raving about him and his amazing art. If you do not hire him, you are certainly missing out on and incredible individual and the most amazing wedding photos.

I thought I posted a review a year or so ago right after our wedding, but completely forgot. Cassidy was absolutely amazing. I've always hated being in pictures - we did an engagement shoot and Cassidy made it painless (and so picturesque!). He and his assistant took sooo many amazing photos on the day of our wedding - getting ready, the ceremony, the guests...we had a photo booth that everyone loved too. Cassidy is absolutely amazing, and he made everything fun too! I'd totally considering having a vow renewal ceremony/party in a few years just so that we could have photos taken by him again!

So I just got to see all of my photos from my 10-10-10 wedding...and I must say that I was blown away at how beatiful they are! Like everyone has said, his style is more photojournalistic and ALL the pictures captures every aspect of teh day and 'tells the story' of our wedding day like none other. When you have Cassidy as your photographer, there's no need to hire a videographer. Right now I have friends and family that keep calling me saying that they cannot stop looking at the pictures--one even used the word "obsessed" lol. His pictures are just that powerful. He is such a talent, and definitely affordable for the DC area. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Seriously. I can't really think of any reasons why you wouldn't want to hire Cassidy DuHon. You WILL get MANY amazing photos of your wedding (you won't be able to choose which to display!), you won't have to worry about your photographer (he is extremely professional, talented, low-maintenance, a hard-worker, fun, and, well...a cool guy), and he is reasonably priced (although, I wouldn't be suprised if he raised his prices soon).

The Bride (me), who is generally very picky (and who also paid for the wedding), thinks that she really couldn't have found anyone better.

My husband and I were looking for a wedding photographer that was more interested in interesting, unique, and creative shots of the wedding, rather than the conventional posed photos. Cassidy is the perfect answer - he has a journalistic style that captured the wedding in such a special way. His photos told a story, and are really special.

Our guests also really liked Cassidy - many people commented to us that he was a cool guy and that he found a great balance between getting a lot of shots and not being intrusive at all. He is low key yet very professional. We absolutely love our photos!

Cassidy Duhon not only took the best pictures of a wedding (mine) that I have ever seen (and I have a lot of friends who have recently been married and been seriously disappointed with their photos), but he is also super cool. I would totally have a beer with Cassidy. He is completely professional (on time, polite, responsive, focused, dependable), but also very laid back and creative. He was also totally open to new ideas and flexible - the groomsmen had some very "interesting" ideas for shots, which Cassidy's assistant agreed to go for, and they turned out fantastic! His services are also more affordable compared to a lot of photographers around here. I feel very lucky to have had such a talented artist shooting my wedding!

I find that referrals are a great way to find wedding vendors. Cassidy Duhon was recommended to me by one of my teaching colleagues and he and his team exceeded my expectations. Cassidy has an eye for unique shots, great candid, and "epic" (his word!!) portraits that hold your gaze. So, his quality of work speaks for itself; but another important quality that he brings to the table is his calm and laid back demeanor (something I found very reassuring leading up to and on my wedding day.) It's also a very telling sign when bridesmaids and wedding attendants are asking for his card because his personality and creative eye are so apparent. My husband and I are SO happy that Cassidy was our wedding photographer (he did an amazing engagement session for us too!). We we looking for someone who took a more photojournalistic approach to weddings, and not only did Cassidy fit that bill, but he is ridiculously talented and just an all-around wonderful, genuinely nice person to work with. He has a great eye for those picture-perfect moments, and also makes everyone feel very comfortable so that he can get the best, most "in the moment" shots. We have known Cassidy DuHon for ages, and after seeing pictures he took on a trip to Nepal, I told him. . ."one day you'll be my wedding photographer." So the story begins! Cassidy has an amazing ability to capture people in their most candid moments. Our wedding photographs are beautiful, tender, intimate, comedic, joyous, etc. He's extremely detail-oriented, so there's a great mixture of photographs documenting the venue, food, dress, and rings. He's true to his word on supplying a photojournalistic approach to your wedding day. He has a unique and original eye for each setting, but also listened to locations we wanted to capture and was receptive to our thoughts and wishes.

Aside from the photos being absolutely stunning, Cassidy is the most prompt, responsive, and professional vendor that we dealt with throughout our wedding planning and on our wedding day. He was willing to travel four hours with us, and the best thing about Cassidy is that I only had to tell him the agenda once, and he was at each location before us ready to shoot.

I can't emphasize enough that Cassidy was the least stressful thing about our wedding. He has an uncanny knack for being a chameleon. The majority of the time I had no idea he was even there, and when we received our pictures, it was surprising how many details and moments he had captured.

We loved, loved, loved working with Cassidy and can't wait to figure out how we can use his services next.

It was very important to my husband and I to have a photographer that didn't do just a bunch of portraits. A friend recommended Cassidy, and after our first meeting with him we knew right away that we wanted him to be our photographer. He is very professional and responds to all emails and calls very quickly. He did our engagement shoot and our wedding pictures; they were all beautiful, and we don't even consider ourselves to be very photogenic. I've been to weddings where the photographer is front and center; Cassidy and his assistant blended seamlessly into the background of the wedding but took pictures as if they were right next to us. He's very enjoyable to work with and feels like a good friend who happens to take good pictures. I was so pleased with my photos, which were ready 3-4 weeks after the wedding. The best part is that he sends a DVD with all of the pictures, so you can always create your own albums, etc. He sent 600+ for our wedding, and I am amazed at every one!

Cassidy photographed our New Orleans/Indian wedding on 2/27/10. His work was far more artistic that any wedding photography that we have seen. He was very responsive to our requests, and he and his assistant covered all of the critical and not so critical events over our very long day.

we were so pleased with our photos. cassidy did a great job of catching great moments in beautiful, artful photos. he did a great job of getting photos of everyone at the wedding without doing corny table group shots.

Cassidy took some amazing photos that really told the story of our wedding day. The candid photos were especially gorgeous. He brings an assistant with him for the whole day. We asked them to make sure every guest was in at least one photo which they accomplished! The only thing is he did not take as many posed pictures, so if this is what you are looking for make sure you make this clear. There were so many good pictures to remember the day by that we are having a hard time deciding which ones to display in our home/include in our album! The website that the pictures are displayed on is also easy to navigate.

Cassidy is wonderful! He put 717 pictures on a website for guests to look at and also is sending me all of the proofs. He has an eye for the most amazing pictures. He was a fly on the wall that caught everything of the day. I am so happy we chose him, the pictures are perfect. I highly recommend him!
