i got tables, chivaris, plates, utensils, glassware and serving pieces from them and they were awesome and very high quality
i changed what i needed 1000 times and they were good
would definitely recommend them

I rented a tent and chair sashes for my wedding. They were very helpful getting everything reserved and willing to set up the tent on Sunday. However, the tent they rented us was too small to fit all my guests. Durants recommended the size we got, and I was very specific as to how many guests and how much room we needed, but only about 3/4 of the guests fit under the tent with a very narrow aisle. Thankfully no one got wet, but some of my family had to sit apart from the rest of the guests and could not hear the ceremony.

I would recommend renting from Durants, but get a second recommendation for tent size.

Avoid this company at all cost. Not only did they lie to us about what they had as far as lighting. They never made the situation right by calling us back, helping set up ANY of the equipment that they delivered late. They were the worst experiance of our wedding. They caused us more headache and grief. If you are looking for a rental company go with Rhienbeck rentals and avoid Durants.

Overall I would not use Durants again. The tent was fine but the light system we rented was dirty and half of the bulbs were burned out. So the morning of the wedding we're running out to Lowes for bulbs! Also, we rented several ottomans which had adjustable legs for leveling on uneven ground. Unfortunately, Durants doesn't supply the pins for attaching the legs to the ottomans! So another trip to Lowes for 32 bolts! Durants reply..."we don't supply bulbs for the lights or pins for the ottomans."
The worst issue occurred on the day the crew came to pick up. There were 2 garbage cans with garbage still in them. Instead of calling me on my cell to explain that they couldn't do anything with the garbage they just dumped the garbage out on my lawn and left! Durants reply..."yeah they had no garbage bags with them on the truck so they just dumped it out....sorry."
A very unprofessional company with lousy customer service and exorbitant pricing.

I have extremely mixed feelings about this company. The administrative side of the company was AWFUL. Absolutely no communication, very terse and rude. There was miscommunication about when the final payment was due and two days before the wedding I got a call threatening not to deliver the tent because of non-payment. I had understood that I could pay by check on the day, but they had other ideas (which they never communicated to me). I can't tell you how upsetting it was to get a phone call like that and then to add insult to injury the proposed solution was for ME to drive up to THEM the day before the wedding to drop them their money! Bad customer service is all I can say. The only reason I have anything nice to say is because the delivery team (the guys who really matter) were amazing. They were so professional, very friendly, and made the wedding spot beautiful. They were the only positive out of the whole experience.

Even with a few snags with my order they came twice the day of my wedding with the right items and everything worked out wonderfully!

We rented a sound system for our wedding, and Durant's was great. The price was fair, and pick-up and drop-off were super easy.

durrants rentals were great and on time for my wedding. the prices were also very affordable. I would recommend them and would use them again for an event. I rented vases for my centerpieces for my wedding that were gorgeous, and also rented beautiful over lays for my tables, and also rented gorgeous candelabras that i used at my reception and ceremony.

Durants Tents brought us the most beautiful tent! Everything was wonderful. However I think there has been afew issues with their computer system and first the online submission didnt work. Then some of those old, first items we later scratched ended up in the final delivery. So we had to exchange a few things but it all went smooth and was no big deal. Would recommend them anytime!

We had decided to have a tent wedding and Durant's was able to provide us with everything we wanted. From the actual tent, to the tables, chairs and porta potties (trailers), it all came together beautifully. They were more than willing to meet with us when ever we had questions and made us feel at great ease knowing it was all going to work out. I highly recommend their services.

Durants was fine. I personally think event rentals are overpriced no matter where you go. They delivered too early and they forgot a microphone with our sound system. The sound system was also very funky, and took lots of tweaking to get right.

Great coordinating and set up service came with our tents.Durant's is not very expensive and have some of the best tents available in New York.I would not hesitate to do business with them.

Everything came when and where we needed it, just some rentals seemed pretty overpriced, I suppose that's something very common in the wedding industry.

At first we had a small problem with our rental when it was dropped off. Some of the items were not in the drop off. However it was an honest mistake and they made sure to get the rest of the items dropped off asap and the end result was the same. The staff was highly cooperative and helped us plan our event rental wise from start to finish.

Our tent was wonderful,enjoyed working with the whole team.

Our experience with Durants Tents & Events was a pleasant one.They carefully showed us all the tents that they offered.We rented a great tent from them and they came and set it up for us.The tent was very useful and was a great addition to our reception.I can't complain about the prices because they did a perfect job.

Durants was a great help they came down to our venue and where very clear on what they could help us with.The tents that we received where a perfect color and they helped us put it in a safe place.Everyone at Durants was very nice and I was impressed at the lengths they went to get everything to work out.

They had everything we needed and everything looked wonderful once it was set up but they were not very clear on when they were bringing all the tables, chairs, tents, etc. to be dropped off and a few of the consultants at the store we unpleasant to deal with on the phone

This company sent an event coordinator to my home which was also the location of the wedding. He helped me determine how many tents, tables and chairs we would need. Everything arrived on time and they set up and took down the tents without issue. this is a very good company.
