Initially I was very pleased with the purchase and dye of my bridal shoes. I ordered two sizes of the same shoe, had them shipped to try them on, then sent them back (returned the pair that did not fit and had the other pair dyed). They did a wonderful job matching the fabric swatch I sent and they looked absolutely beautiful! However, it snowed on our wedding day and my shoes are now almost completely white again! I understand that they are not waterproof, but they should have lasted more than the first half an hour of my photos. Or the company should certainly consider spraying or finishing each dyed pair with something to seal the dye, seeing as how that is supposedly their specialty. Unfortunately I would NOT recommend purchasing/dying shoes from here, as it was a huge disappointment for me.

I was very impressed with dyeableshoestore.com. I am always nervous ordering online but I couldn't be happier. I ordered jewelry and shoes. I received a phone call telling me how they would be shipped and when. They both arrived on time and were exactly what I ordered. Unfortunately the shoes I ordered were not going to work after all. I called to find out about doing an exchange and they were completely professional, very nice, and it's an extremely easy process. I sent them back and had a new pair dyed and back within a couple of weeks. The dye matches the swatch I sent them perfectly and I love them. I will absolutely order from them again in the future.

After a little hick up with the shoe size, Ron was able to fix the issue and refund the money. I got my order in one day, perfect condition. I just really wish those cute flip flops did fit (I got “Just married” flop flops for our honey moon)… When I wanted to return/exchange them, he personally called me. It was good not to deal with generic customer service.

Their return policy is the worst of all the online shoe places. They charge a re-stocking fee of 20% if you order 2 or more pair (who would order less than that in order to find the right wedding or prom shoe??) and if you don't return within 30 days, they charge up to a 50% fee. You are better off to donate the shoes to Goodwill and take the donation off on your taxes!!
I wouldn't trust my shoes to anyone else, great service!

A. Normally we suggest ordering shoes online in white to try on first, then sending them back to us with a swatch to be dyed. All dyed work is FINAL SALE, and this way you will be able to check the size and style of the shoe before having it dyed. If you need the shoes in a hurry or are confident in the size and style you need, we can dye the shoes before shipping them out to you.

A. A standard dye job takes 7-10 days. A rush dye job can be done within a day or two.

A. A standard dye job costs $12.00 per item. A rush dye job costs $25.00.

Dyeing Bridal & Bridesmaids Shoes Won’t Make Them Water Resistant
Shoe dyes used for custom dyeing bridal and wedding shoes (excluding color fast manufacturer dyes) are water-soluble and will bleed or stain if exposed to moisture. When custom dyeing bridal footwear, protect your shoes with a water repellent spray but be sure the spray will work on your fabric and won’t alter the shoe color. The spray will prevent most staining but will not make your bridal shoes waterproof. Please be aware that once sprayed, the shoes cannot be re-dyed. We recommend you keep your spray on hand in case of inclement weather and avoid spraying your shoes unless absolutely necessary.
Custom Dyed Shoes Look Different With Indoor & Outdoor (Natural) Lighting
Whoever you get to custom dye your bridal or prom shoes, be sure to inform them as to what the lighting will be for your event. Ultraviolet light in the natural light spectrum will cause the color of your dyed bridal or prom shoes to look different outdoors from indoors. The color will also appear different between shaded areas and direct sun light. For example, beige peach and taupe dye will take on a pinkish hue outside while gray and blue tones acquire a purple tone. This cannot be avoided. We recommend custom dyeing your shoes to match the lighting of wherever the service will be held.
Custom Dyeing Bridal Shoes To Match Your Dress Is An Art
When custom dyeing bridal shoes it is not possible to get a perfect color match due to the textural differences between the shoe fabric and the dress material being matched (unless your shoes were made from the same fabric as the dress).
