We worked with manager Esmond Su and he did a great job accomodating us and allowing us to change a few menu items without incurring costs. The food was great, but I think timing can be a bit tricky. The food came out so fast that we had to rush through our reception program schedule to stay on track before the whole dinner ended. For our bridal party, it was hard to coordinate times where we needed to get up to greet people or change clothes, and then come back and have something to eat since they would hold our food while we were gone, but when we came back no one brought food for us so we often were sitting with no food. In the end we got to hurriedly taste a bit of everything, at least everything was pretty delicious. Wedding banquets are ridiculously expensive either way, but relatively it was a pretty good cost for the good food we got.
We went back fro dim sim a few weeks later and Esmond saw us there and arranged to bring us a special mango pudding dessert in the shape of a large koi fish for us and our family. A nice gesture considering that our wedding was already over too.

We've eaten at Dynasty many times as a family and never had a bad experience. This led us to book our banquet at Dynasty which was much more a so-so experience. It wasn't bad, just not quite what we had initially expected. In the beginning everything was great. Meetings with the managers to discuss the color of the napkins, the menus, and the set up of the room were easy enough. Our wedding coordinator even went down to the venue to meet with the manager and assured us that anything we needed done for the day of the wedding could be done. There was plenty of set-up time for our wedding coordinator and they were more than accommodating when we changed our minds about bringing our own sodas and made other last minute rearrangements. The sub-par experience was on the day of. I don't know if they had just booked too many parties that day or what, but the person who was "hosting" our banquet was not the person who we had been in communication with before-hand. The timing of the food was super fast, which led to all of the food being served before we had even begun table toasting! I could have lived with that, but they TRIED TO SERVE THE CAKE BEFORE WE CUT IT! WHO DOES THAT? My wedding coordinator had to chase the servers back into the kitchen TWICE to prevent this from happening.
I honestly don't know that I would recommend Dynasty to others. The food was good, the overall quality of service was good, but there were some areas of professionalism that just plain lacked. You really have to be on top of them, more than average I would say. If we hadn't had an amazing wedding coordinator taking care of everything, our experience with Dynasty would have left us stressed out of our minds.

Managers are professional. Initially, they promised one banquet room for the Chinese tea ceremony (in private, among family members). However, someone overbooked all the rooms and we were stuck doing the tea ceremony in the bridal changing room. We also paid extra for the more expensive Shark Fin soup, but we received a watered down version of the Shark Fin soup. The day before the wedding, my friends and I went to the room to set up the tables with party favors and such. We noticed that the DJ table and the slideshow screen were not in the idea locations previously agreed upon. Although we caught these issues in time before the wedding, it only shows that the manager and waiters/other employees(?) do not follow all the specific instructions. Although the managers are very nice, be careful not to overspend on luxury dishes and don't expect specifics to be followed through according to what was agreed.
