E Danae Art & Calligraphy

Wow, Danae is simply an incredible calligrapher!! I couldn't be happier with the invitations she did for me.
The work was exactly as promised and better. Her service made me feel as if I were the most important person in the world and it is apparent in her calligraphy also with what careful attention she pays to each delicately hand crafted letter.

Hole. E. Cow. Danae's work is amazing, there's just no other word for it. Her calligraphy has a beautiful, almost watercolor feel to it--I'm not sure if she does or not, but it seems like she uses one of those classic metal-tipped pens that she has to dip into an ink well.

On top of everything else, she's fast, she's communicative, and you just won't want to mail those gorgeous envelopes!! Do yourself a favor and have an extra one addressed to you as a keepsake.

I found E Danae through the Etsy website, and I cannot believe how lucky I was to find her! Danae's work was beyond exquisite!
Danae created my entire wedding invitation suite (invitations, reception card, response card + envelope, and calligraphy on the envelopes) and they came out better than I could have imagined. She went above and beyond to help realize what I had envisioned for the invitations and even went out of her way to find a shade of grey envelopes that I wanted.
Everything from the quality of work to the quick communication was wonderful! I highly recommend her!

I happened to find E Danae in a Chicago Craigs List add, and was immediately impressed by the work on her website, compared to others I had looked at. We contracted her to do our wedding invitations, and they turned out perfect!! She used a beautiful gold ink that matched the invites perfectly. The turn around time was also very acceptable. We were so impressed, we later asked her to do a formal marriage license in calligraphy for us, which also turned out perfect. She is not the least expensive out there, but I think her prices are VERY reasonable given the quality of her work. She is also excellent with email communication. I would use her again, and definitly recommend her!

Danae's work is short of AMAZING! She has that added personal touch that I was looking for, from the Invitations to the Seating chart everything was perfect and on time! I plan on using her in the future for everything I need addressed. I never dreamed of having my own Calligrapher and Artist. I would highly suggest if you need your Invitations addressed you call E Danae art!

I truly have never seen anything more perfectly beautiful than Danae's calligraphy work! I am completely ecstatic about the invitations and the envelopes! I saw a personalized invitation in an old etiquette book that I loved and Danae really brought them to life. Danae personalized each one of my invitations with the guest's names and they are impeccable. My fiance and my parents are equally in love with her beautiful work. Danae is kind, very responsive, so easy to work with, and very, very sweet. She is the kind of vendor you hope to work with during your wedding! The care she takes with her work is evident, all the way down to the beautiful packaging she uses to wrap your envelopes when she mails them back to you. I could not recommend Danae more highly.

Danae has an amazing talent that was perfect for my wedding favors. She created some beautiful calligraphy for some handmade journals I made for my groomsmen as gifts. The work she did was exquisite and on top of that she is incredibly friendly and has a willingness to work with you. I highly recommend her!

Working with Danae was an absolute pleasure. She made everything so easy and was always responsive. She had great ideas for us, too, about color and style. She worked with us to create a font that worked with out invitations, and she matched the style perfectly. We loved the work she did on everything-- place cards, escort cards, table number cards-- all beautiful!
