E-Squared Productions NY

E-squared productions made my wedding a blast!! All of our guests had such an amazing time and I have so many pictures of a packed dance floor! They were able to feel out the crowd and play music that made everyone get up and dance. The DJ booth itself looked incredible! They took care of uplighting and other decorative lighting that had guests telling me they felt like they were in a nightclub. We also had E-squared create a photo montage of my husband and myself to play during dinner. It looked great! They had asked us to provide songs to play during the montage (just me, just my husband, then us together), and I was thrilled that they played the entire song! I can't imagine having nearly as good of a time with any other DJ! Their prices are great for the talent that you get! We also booked the photo booth through e-squared productions and it was a HIT! Our guests had such a good time; they were lined up as soon as the first dance was over!! We got the scrap book of the pictures the guests wanted to give us and they all wrote messages to go with them. We also got a CD of all pictures taken in the booth which is amazing! Highly recommended - we had a great time!

E-squared productions was the recommended DJ for our reception venue.

One drawback with them was that I prefer to communicate w/ vendors via email (I really don't have the time at work to make phone calls during the day) and E-squared communicates via phone or in person, so it was a little bit inconvenient for us.

Additionally my parents had created a video slideshow for the reception. My mother called E-Squared to see if we could use their projector (the reception venue offered their screen). They wanted to charge $200+ (essentially the cost for them to create a personal video montage & show it), even though we already had the montage created. My parents ultimately had to borrow a projector from friends in Ohio and bring it to the wedding in Jersey.

E-Squared provided a few worksheets beforehand for us to fill out with our key information (music for the entrances, cake cutting, names of bridal party etc.) and I also provided a basic timeline and a spreadsheet with the general music information (examples of what we wanted to have played during the ceremony, cocktail hour, dancing etc.). We weren't provided with the name of our MC/ DJ until days before the wedding (and we didn't meet them until the day of the wedding), so I was a little bit anxious.

I needn't have worried because John (our MC) and our DJ were fantastic! They played most of the music that we had requested (and all the proper "event" songs) and guided the reception very well. With their music, the dance floor was packed and full of energy throughout the reception. John was also very flexible & improvised well; we had impromptu acapella singing, group serenading by the gentlemen, and priceless dancing moments by my uncles, all of which he handled/ setup without a hitch. We received numerous comments that our MC & DJ were great!
