East Side Mario's

Thanks to PW bride Miss Mandy, we hired East Side Mario's for our wedding. They were the first caterer we visited and after meeting Danielle, we were sold and booked them right on the spot. Our guests were impressed by the pass tray hors d'oevres during cocktail hour. We had an open bar all night and they made sure they were stocked up on everything our families needed. Not only was the food delicious, but the price was on point!!! Danielle and her staff were great, they were so nice that they even set up the table runners and centerpieces. Afterwards, they put the leftover cake in those little chinese "to go" boxes, and our guests were able to just grab a box on their way out.

Oh I love this place! And I looked on their website and while they're mainly around Canada/East coast region, this is the only CA location. It's so worth it to go - the food is excellent!

I was a little unsure about hiring a restaurant to cater our wedding, but I'm so glad we went through with it!

The staff was SO courteous and professional. They did everything they promised and more. They served all our guests as if we were in a fancy hotel and provided our reception with so many details, things we would of had to rent such as fine china, glassware, linens -- all included with our food price. And the food was delish! We chose an Italian menu and my husband's Italian family gobbled it up!

They left the kitchen immaculate and never once had given us any problems. They boxed up all our leftovers and insured that we had a pleasant experience. I HIGHLY recommend them for all your catering needs. Their prices are PHENOMENAL and can't be beat. Great for the bride on a budget. A+!

Mario's is an excellent catering company. The food is delicious, Danielle is extremely easy to work with, and the price is awesome! This was the only way we were able to afford dinner and a full premium open bar for 200 people and stay within our budget. I highly recommend this vendor!

I highly recommend East Side Mario's for your event. We hired them for our wedding and everyone loved the food!! Most people went back for seconds. People loved it and said it was not your typical wedding meal. We chose to do a buffet and it went very smoothly, our guest did not have to wait long for their food. Danielle the catering manager was a pleasure to work with. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for the quality of food and service that they provide. It's been over a month since our wedding and people are still raving about the food!!

Danielle and her staff were great to work with, efficient, organized, and professional. We had a buffet style dinner, but the way it was set up made looked so elegant. The food was awesome and all of my guests are still raving about the food, especially the stuffed mushrooms.We went with an Italian Style menu and also with the premium bar package. Their prices can't be beat and a great vendor for anyone on a budget.

They were nice enough to package up all of the leftovers at the end of the night. Needless to say the food was gone at the after party at our house.

I would highly recommend them for any type of catering event.

I hired Eastside Mario's for our wedding and the food was DELICIOUS!!! After the food tasting we knew we wanted to go with them. We had the tri-tip, chicken marsala and the shrimp scampi and I am so happy with our choices. Danielle (Catering manager) is great and she returns calls and emails very promptly. They also did our bar and the bartender was very friendly to all the guests. The staff was also very friendly and were very attentive. All our guests raved about the food!! Their prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend Eastside Mario's!!!!

Thanks to MissMandy's recommendation I also hired East Side Mario's for my wedding. All I can say is WOW! They were incredible, so much more than I expected, and we saved so much money. If you can find a venue that allows you to bring in your own caterer, this is the way to go. My fiance is not crazy about italian, so we got the Tri Tip, Chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Garlic Breadsticks, 3 salads (Caesar, Italian and a Field Greens with Gorgonzola and Balsamic). We also had 3 passed appetizers (stuffed mushrooms, spinach artichoke dip and bbq chicken puffed pastry). They provided all table lines, water glasses, Servers, 3 types of non-alcoholic beverages (punch, iced tea and lemonade) in adorable glass containers, coffee service, and cake cutting. We looked at a lot of venues with $15,000 food and beverage minimums on a Saturday night. We spent less than $4000 using East Side Marios, and thats including tax and service charges. Everyone loved the food and was very impressed with the presentation. They know what they are doing and you won't have to worry about a thing. It is the price of a restaurant but the experience of a full service caterer. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone without hesitation.

My husband and I are regular customers at this restaurant so we thought why not have them cater our wedding reception - we were happy when we found out they did cater!
Their food is delicious and very well-portioned = ) we always have leftovers.

Danielle was great to work with and always replied quick! She was very helpful and attentive. On the day of the wedding she made sure we were taken care of too!
My FI/DH and I wanted something different served at our wedding reception ( we are Mexican and did not want the traditional Mexican meals) so we decided to have Italian. Luckily all our guests raved about the food and many wanted to know more about the caterer & restaurant. Towards the wedding we were excited about our food and caterer selection- we even had leftovers packed for us to take home - also provided were the utensils, some tablecloths, coffee & cake-cutting service, champagne, & bartenders. We chose many extras but it was well worth it!

The reason I gave them 4/5 stars was because we had a few minor complaints from our family members. We were told the coffee ran out, the lemonade did not have serving cups/utensils until two family members asked for them, one waiter was rude, and some pasta ran out. I never complained to Danielle and I do not blame her, I know things do not go as planned. But my mom did complain about the same waiter as well.

Overall - we had great service and great food = a great experience !!!!
We are still regular customers = )
