Eaton Hall was where my sister got married 10 years ago, in near fairy-tale surroundings and with excellent service. We signed up for this location with a wonderful sales rep who later got replaced, as did almost all the staff, during a change in management. Once Seneca College took over, we got told we had to select new (more expensive) catering for the site and the whole ordeal of trying to deal with the rude and impossible staff at Seneca was a nightmare. Two months before our wedding we cancelled our contract with them and started from scratch at Sunnybrook Estates, where our day was perfect.
This is one of the places we've considered for our wedding for both ceremony and reception. It is an old fashioned castle out looking a lake. It is very beautiful and is an ideal place for a smaller wedding. Since it used to be someone's residence it only fits up to 90 people or so inside and you would need to rent a tent if you have a bigger wedding (which is an additional expense). The people working there seemed very nice and accommodating though and the place itself looked very beautiful and peaceful.
Delivery and set-up has always been easy with the Eaton Hall staff they are always professional and ready.
