Reviews for eBay
I bought 200 invitations for my wedding that were just beautiful. The seller was extremely fast with shipping and and the quality of the product was amazing. I really enjoyed working with the seller. They were very knowledgeable the item and the details of each part to the invitation.
I am very much a DIY kind of gal, so I practically found everything for our wedding on eBay, from our invitations to our favors to our decorations!
We were able to get our wedding rings on Ebay for the fraction of the normal cost. What a great way to save a few extra dollars in expenses.
You can find almost anything on Ebay. Hint: go to a bridal shop, look around. Write down the designer, item number and other information for something you like, and get it on Ebay for a vast reduction in price. Just make sure you're getting exactly what you're bidding for...ask questions of the vendors and keep copies of everything.
I ordered my 3 bridesmaid dresses online, from a store on Ebay. I was very nervous to order dresses, FOR MY WEDDING online, but I am an avid ebayer and trusted it. The dresses were $75 each, and made exactly how I asked, with the exact colors asked for. We measured the bridesmaids at home and emailed their exact measurements. The dresses fit like a glove when they arrived.
Bougelsboutique on Ebay: We ordered our flower girl dresses from this site. They sell US Angels dresses for half the retail price, and only charge $4 for shipping. The gowns arrived in 3 days. Considering we had 2 to get, this was a great deal!
They had so many choices on here!
I was going through my Vera Wang phase, and I really wanted my bridesmaids to wear Vera Wang dresses. I couldn’t find a place that sold the kind I liked in any stores, so I ordered them online through a wedding dress site on ebay. I think I got a good deal, considering how much you pay for the original dress in a store. I think no one really cared that my bridesmaids were wearing Vera Wang, and actually when I look at the pictures the dresses could have come from K-Mart and I don’t think anyone would have cared. When you get upclose to the dresses, though, you can see that the quality is really nice.
We only spent $30 total for favor bags on ebay, which I think is very cheap. That is for 250 black and pink mesh bags.
I’d read an article once about brides, and it said that every bride comes into dress shops wanting something “simple and elegant”—but that every bride has a very different idea of what those two words mean. After the proposal, I mentioned this to my sister, and on a whim, we typed “simple and elegant wedding dress” into the eBay search window: an astounding number—in the thousands—came up. We giggled our way through several until, suddenly, there it was: my simple and elegant wedding dress.
To me, it looked like something Audrey Hepburn might have worn. It had kind of a tank top style top in a heavy satin material with beading only around the neckline and the waist; the skirt billowed out appealingly. It was a sample dress, by House of Bianchi (whom I’d never heard of; I don’t follow fashion OR wedding couture by any means. But I’ve since learned they also designed the wedding dress for Monica on the tv show Friends and have now gone out of business). Best of all, it was a mere $25!! On a whim, I decided to bid on it (after all, even if it didn’t fit, or wasn’t “the one” I figured I could always use it for a Halloween costume).
The dress arrived right on time several days later, and I’m glad to report that I loved it. It needed some minor alterations and a cleaning, but it was in good condition and it looked lovely. Most of all, I enjoyed seeing peoples’ face when they learned I’d only paid $25 for my beautiful wedding gown.
I realize eBay may not be an option for many brides, but it is worth an afternoon’s time searching if you’re on a budget!
We bought tulip bulbs and favor bags off of Ebay for very little cost. I highly recommend it! They were the same fancy favor bags you see in brial shops, but only like $10 for 50 bags. The tulips were from another Ebay vendor who bought them from Holland. Everything arrived with plenty of time to spare. They were a big hit.
We had the idea that we were going to give our guests a burnt cd with all of our favorite songs on it. We came up with a list of twelve romantic songs, some heartbreaking songs, and some fun songs, and burnt them onto about a hundred blank cds. We looked around, and found that Wal-mart had the best deal for blank cds. We ordered our songs off of itunes (just to ensure the clarity of the music). We also wanted special music sleeves, and we found a good auction on ebay for custom sleeves. We printed up the sleeves with our picture, and I think the gift was really well received by everyone. It took hours of burning, though, and of printing the sleeves!
My maid of honor had the role of finding the seating chart, place cards, guest book, and lots of other wedding supplies. She found them on ebay, and got them for a great price. The seller said the stuff was used, but it looked brand new. I couldn’t buy the stuff because I don’t have my own account, but my MOH did. IT was great, one-stop shopping for everything we needed.
Ebay is a great place to get designer clothing for a fraction of the cost, or even to get designer dresses that you can't get anywhere else. My bridesmaids were really great about letting me pick out the dresses. Cherlone Dress, the seller's store, had a great selection of dresses. I found dozens that I thought would suit my bridesmaids right away, and then I bought them via auction. I paid between $30-40 for dresses that would otherwise cost me hundreds of dollars in the store. But more importantly the dresses were unique and I haven't seen anything else like that in stores around here. The dresses arrived within a week, they were packaged carefully, and they looked just like the pictures.
I got a fantastic deal on a Melissa Sweet dress; I couldn’t believe how many compliments I got. You should really check out e-bay if you don’t mind a second-hand dress.
21 piece bouquet set came with 12 inch bridal bouquet, 4 bridemaids bouquet and toss. Plus bouts & corsages for mothers. Definitely check all options before going with one vendor. I saved tons going with silk flowers and I'll have them forever!
Ebay has a great selection of wedding vendors that offer customized menus place cards etc. Would highly recommend
I got a whole batch of matching fake flowers off of Ebay! It came with the main set of blue roses (bundle) with 3 additional matching sets. Excellent deal and I talked to the vendor a little bit and she was willing to work with me. The flowers came from her location in Canada, and they were definitely a bargain and looked real! I still keep them around my house and definitely recommend fake flowers if they look good over real.
Ebay is a wonderful tool if you want to get things for bargain prices. The only catch is that you have to be very careful in who you buy from. Constantly check sellers' feedback. I wouldn't recommend buying from anyone below a 90% positive feedback. I purchased a tiara for only $25 (which at some bridal shops are $100+) and also my necklace, earrings, veil, etc. for extremely good prices.
A beatuiful roaly blue white dress made out of satin silk and lace. You can find lots of wedding stuff there. I like it.
I literally paid $48 for my wedding dress. The girl who owned it never wore it because her wedding was canceled. Ebay is great because I was able to email back and forth with the girl and make sure the measurements were right and everything. It fit so perfectly I didn’t even need alterations. It only needed a bustle. I was pretty lucky to find this bargain!!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I purchased a dress from a seller on ebay and then they took it off ebay after I had alreayd paid for it. Once I recieved the dress it was to small. although I paid for the exact same dress as davids bridal 800. less on ebay it was still to small when I received it.And it was still to small & was illegal or something for ebay to remove it from the site. Becareful shopping on line
I think the vendor's name was Jennifer Lu or something like that. She had very good feedback so I decided to take the chance. She custom made the dresses for me in China. They were very well made and a very good price. The only problem is that it is hard to judge colours from pictures on screen. The shade that arrived was not exactly what I was expecting. But it was nice.
I used eBay for all the little odds and ends. I get my center pieces, party favors, and so gifts from eBay. This was cheaper then cutting coupons and looking for sales! everything orders came perfectly packed and shipped quickly. I saved over $600.00 going through eBay. Each center piece was done for $10.00 (floating candles in an bowl with seashells), and party favors for $0.75 each (small organza bag with butter mints inside and sand dollar tied to the outside).
This is the way to go if you are on a budget!
I got a GREAT deal of a lot of matching pink dresses that pretty much fit each and every one of my bridesmaids and I even had some dresses left over!
I love the fact that my wedding ring was purchased on ebay---it was the icing on a beautiful, low budget affair. I also reccomend it for dresses, favors, and other quirky items.
When we first became engaged, we discussed our budget in length. My husband knew that I had been dreaming of my wedding since I was little, but I realized that I wanted to be able to make our perfect home rather than blow all of our savings on one day. I didn't see our low budget for our wedding as a sacrifice, but a teaser for the rest of our lives together with our house! So instead of getting our favors, invitations, and other decorations at retail stores, I chose to search around on eBay, and found such great deals on EVERYTHING! Hello, my name is Zany Suzy, and I am addicted to eBay!
My husband is THE hugest Miami Heat fan, and I wanted to surprise him with a custom Miami Heat garter on my leg! I don't remember the seller, but I found the garter on eBay. The price was great, and the garter was perfect! eBay is just great to find everything that you need!
I purchased my veil and my shoes from a couple of sellers on ebay. ebay is a great site that you can find everything and anything at really great prices, sometimes at HUGE discounts off of retail! Was very pleased with my purchases!
This is thebest place to find your bridesmaid dresses. I got 5 of mine off ebay. They were amazing.
I wanted a beautiful mantilla to wear with my dress instead of a typical veil. I was able to find it on eBay and spent so much less than what I would have spent at a bridal store!
Okay, you can go into any store an dpay a fortune for wedding favores. I am having a Cinderella wedding and I wanted those cute little slippers to put candy in. Well we looked all over and they wanted $20 dollars for 12 and we needed 200+. In other words way to expensive. Well I looked on ebay and believe it or not but I purchased 240 little slpiier faovres from a wholesale business on Ebay for $24.50, I am not kidding. I can always show you what I paid. So I recommend shopping on ebay for your wedding favores.
We purchased our flower girl dresses on ebay and it was absolutely worth it! We have two flower girls and only spent $100 total including shipping and the dresses were absolutely perfect!
I didnt want to spend a $100 or more one flower girl dress, So I simply went to Ebay and got this amazing and beautiful flower girl dress for about 17.00 dollars and then cost of shipping.
Since my Husband and I are Simsons fans, I found many useful and fun items for our wedding just by searching "Simpsons Wedding" on Ebay. I purchased a unique cake topper, Bart Simpson Pen holder and crystal toasting flutes! This was a very inexpensive way to add a few personal touches to our wedding.
I had two little men in my wedding party and wanted them in tuxes to match the older ones. I talked to the rental place and decided $90 for a little boys tux was a lot since we were on a budget. I went on ebay and found brand new ones for $25 a suit. They looked great and we sold them afterwards for 20 bucks!
My wedding favors were 50 beautiful seed packets in Cobalt Blue that I found on ebay. The flowers were vibrant blue violets & have a cute poem on them "Plant these seeds & watch them bloom, just like the love of the Bride & Groom." They were perfect & oh so much cheaper than anything else I found & the delivery was quick.
There is a lot of brides selling items them used for only a few hours!
Even in some cases there is items not used due to cancelled weddings.
My best wedding ebay purchase was for disposable cameras!
HUGE variety of designs available!
About $15 cheaper than walmarts plain ones.
(based on the purchase of 10 cameras)
Ebay is a great place to find childrens attire! The prices are really good for new dresses for flowergirls and minibrides! You just want to make sure you order in enough time!
This is a great online store to buy everything else you need!
Try ebay for kids clothing for wedding. I was able to get a 2T 5 piece black suit for $25 shipped.
I only had my maid of honor. and i told her a color and to pick out something she may be able to ware again... she being thrifty went on ebay and found a awesome dress and it was the color i wanted and a very cute dress if i do say so myself lol... and she only spen 20$ so even if she doesnt ware it again its didnt coast a bunch!
I bought my flowers for 22 people and paid $150.00 and they are georgeous! I could not have asked for a nicer bouquet! I dont like real flowers and think it is very silly to spend $1,000 on something that is going to die tomorrow!!!
that is where my fiance bought my ring.. I love it!! I am very satisfied!! Also looked at wedding dresses there but did not find anything that just popped out at me.. Found a few good looking gowns but nothing that really caught my eye!!
