Our wedding cake turned out so beautiful and was so delicious! They are so professional and easy to work with. I made some changes after making our original order before the wedding and they had no problem doing it. They did such a great job listening to our ideas and vision of how we wanted our cake to look. Cake design by Edda's really delivered. I would recommend them to everyone!

Edda's of Pembroke Pines provided our groom's cake. It was a blue Subaru Impreza. My husband was SPEECHLESS!!! He is an avid car enthusiast and said they did an AWESOME JOB!!! It looked so good he didn't even want to cut it.

We had our wedding cake made by Edda's Cake Designs through our wedding with Best Miami Weddings and the process of going to our cake tasting and picking out our flavors and designs was so quick and easy. We stopped in the Coral Gables location (after calling first, of course!) and were there for less than 30 minutes (we were on our way out of town, so kind of in a hurry). The cakes are to die for and so beautiful. We went with an amaretto and vanilla rum cake with buttercream frosting. It is amazing how smooth and detailed and beautiful Edda's can make their buttercream frosting look! Everyone at the wedding thought it was fondant, and they were so surprised to find out it wasn't (I like the look of fondant, but the taste of buttercream is so much better). Our cake was perfect on our wedding day and everyone raved about how delicious it was and asked where we got it. Thank you, Edda's!

MMmmmmm!!! We had their famous vanilla rum cake. SO good! We gave them a picture of how we wanted our cake decorated and they did it exactly! The cake looked so beautiful and tasted just as good. The colors were perfect and so was the design. I would use them again!

All I can say is "wow". My wedding cake from Edda's was pretty, simple & tasty, but the custom groom's cake I ordered was AMAZING!! My hubby was floored & guests are still raving. Price was high, but still worth it. The ladies at Edda's were nice & talented!

My wedding cake was beautifully designed and tasted great. It showed well and I received many compliments about it. The price was reasonable also.

The South Miami location provided a three-tier cake for our wedding at the DoubleTree Biscayne Bay. The cake looked gorgeous - exactly what we asked for during our consultation six months prior. Most importantly, it tasted DELICIOUS! The cake was incredibly moist and the icing was so fresh, not hard. The sugar orchids were beautifuly done. They really outdid themselves. I HIGHLY recommend Edda's, especially their amaretto and marble flavors!

My cake was amazing and delicious. All my guests commented on how gorgeous it was too. If I ever need a cake for any major event, this is where I'm going.

Amazing cake, nothing else to say. Very happy. But be careful not to choose a topper that is too heavy! No cake can stand up to a heavy topper.

Edda's cake designs did a flawless job on the cake! We ordered our favorite flavor, amaretto! (The vanilla rum is good as well!) it needed no filling (although you could add so many choices) because the cake was so moist! We enjoyed it so much we ordered their holiday bunt cakes (vanilla rum, yum!). They offered the cake bases which were very elegant. I would highly recommend Edda to take care of your wedding cake!

We were very pleased with Edda's. Our cake was exactly what we wanted. It was a delicious vanilla rum cake. The cake we picked out was over our budget, so they suggested having a sheet cake. Our cake was for 100 people, plus the sheet cake for 40 people. It helped us stay in budget & be able to get the cake we really wanted. They were extremely helpful in the South Miami location. I never scheduled appointments, I would just show up. Very professional. I do think they are over priced (over $600 for a 3 tier cake), but you get what you pay for & they are great value.

Very disappointed. When we went in for our tasting and were basically ignored, they plopped the tasting tray on the table with a cake design book and walked off. The only cake that we actually enjoyed eating was the chocolate with butter cream icing. The rest we sub par and bland. We went to the Pines location. The display cakes in the window were gray and dusty, and one was even damaged.. not such a great display of your optimal work. If it wasn't the required vendor for our venue I would have walked out. Publix has better cake.

My wedding cake was a combination of two cakes from their catalog and they did a wonderful job accommodating my special request. Also, my groomsmen's cake was a special request and they did an awesome job creating the cake to my exact specifications. Also, their staff and customer service was exceptional!

Okay so i had a tasting with them and i believe i tried EVERY flavor but i must say the pinneaple and vanilla rum were by far the best. I really loved the cake and service. They arrived early with my beautiful cake and they made the cake EXACTLY how i dreamed. I gave them an invitation and they matched the color! have you seen their cakes at publix now?

Delicious! Edda's was recommended to us by our venue. The flavors were delicious as well as the design of the cake. They allowed us to be creative with each tier. We are still hearing how yummy our cake was!

The best cake ever... I had 4 tiers, bottom was vanilla, second was guava and cream cheese filling, third and fourth pina colada! yummy! I can’t wait to have the top tier in our 1 year wedding anniversary.

I used Eddas as a part of my wedding package and I have to say while I was SUPER pleased with the cake tasting, the actual cake did not taste like the tasting... the cake was dryer than the tasting but still good. The cake was beautiful but they forgot the flowers on top... how do you forget the flowers.... The lady who takes the orders Grace seems to have adult adhd and she does more talking than listening. Her handwriting is worse than chicken scratch so thats probably why they forgot the flowers... Not sure. I would totally go to Eddas and have a slice of cake or buy a cupcake... wedding cakes anyway are never memorable for the taste and frankly there are other things to worry about. For what it was, it served the purpose. I am sure they are talented and can make a nice cake but the end result was not all its hyped up to be.

I used Edda's cake designs the Coral Gables location for my wedding and I am glad I did. Grace helped me the whole time but the staff are very helpful and great to work with. I gave them a picture of what I wanted as my cake design and they managed to make it look 10 times better than the picture. I was so surprised when I saw it for the first time when my reception started.

My cake was beautiful and tasted wonderful! I only wish they had delivered the cake stand I ordered bu was MIA day of.

The cake itself was amazing and despite the cake base thing, I would still order the cake with this bakery.

Omg I loved the cake so much. Can't wait for a year to pass so that we can eat the top layer! The cake was moist. Even the leftovers were moist after nearly a week. Although I'm not a complainer there were a few mistakes. In the picture the tiers were square and rectangular alternating with circles, on the day of the wedding each layer was circular. Not a big deal because it was gorgeous and yummy nonetheless!

When I was told my wedding cake that was part of my package was from Edda's, I couldn't have been more excited! My cake turned out so beautiful and so delicious!

I got my cake from the Pembroke Pines location. The person who I dealt with was very unprofessional even stating one time on a call that she would phone me the week of my wedding for the final count if she still is working there. I asked numerous times for her to fax me the receipt but I never received it. I placed my order for the design I wanted and went over it multiple times with her. Come the wedding day, it was the wrong design. The cake itself tasted amazing, but I was really disappointed the design was totally wrong. I called after the wedding to let them know and it was totally brushed off. All in all, the options they have for flavors made them. The correct choice. However, I would NOT recommend the Pembroke Pines location at all!

We used Edda's Cakes because they were included in our package with Best Miami Weddings (aka Fetes & Events), but I am SO glad we did work with them!! Being an out-of-town bride, they were very helpful in setting up a tasting when it worked with our schedule, and I can't imagine a more fun experience!! We worked with Grace, who was absolutely fantastic in every sense of the word. She had us laughing and enjoying the whole tasting experience. She was super busy on the day of the tasting (due to a couple of her coworkers being out sick) but made us feel like a priority the entire time. The cake was DELICIOUS!! It looked beautiful, and lots of our guests told us it was the best wedding cake they'd ever had. I would definitely agree :). Grace even followed up with us a week before the wedding to be sure everything was in order and there didn't need to be any changes to the cake. She gave us some "insider" tips on getting things done in Miami and helped us getting the flowers for the cake coordinated properly. Couldn't have asked for more!!!

We used Edda's because it came with our package. I was a little nervous at first because it was the only vendor I hadn't chosen myself. I had absolutely nothing to be nervous of. Grace at the Coral Gables store was so sweet & helpful. My husband and I went to the tasting...it was so hard to choose which flavor because they were all so good! We had a 4 tier cake so we chose 4 different flavors. Our wedding cake was AWESOME! We even ate some of the topper the next day then froze the rest. It was just too good to waste! :)Two thumbs up for Edda's!

Our cake was amazing, they did it base on a picture I got from a magazine and the colors we wanted. Edda was very helpful on selecting the colors and favors. She even called me four days prior to the wedding to confirm colors ect. They delivered on time and the cake was fabulous.

Would definitely recommend. They did a great job replicating a glass tiered cake I saw in a magazine. Everyone was amazed by the beautiful cake creation and the taste was superb... turns out we never even got to eat our own cake because we had ordered it for 100ppl since we had 83 guests. They told us some ppl don't even eat the cake so you'll be good with 100 orders. Nope! People kept asking for seconds- so lesson learned- Save some for yourself... we'll get to taste it on our 1 yr. anniversary =)

Incredible place! I went in with my fiance complaining that I made him go to the tasting...by the end of our tasting with Grace, he had designed the cake with her! Our experience was so pleasant. No bumps in the road! The cake tasted amazing, looked gorgeous (and it was buttercream), and was presented exactly how we designed it in the store. What a great team!

The cake was YUMMY!!! I worked with Angie and Maria at the Pembroke Pines Store- Amazing people and would truly refer their Vanilla Rum to anyone. The cake was SO MOIST and tasted SO Fresh. Our cake was included in our venue but we had some upgrades that were truly worth it.

During our tastings- they were professional and we got to taste ALL their flavors. Buttercream frosting was included in our venue package, Fondant wasnt as it is an upgrade. I love buttercream and it was SO yummy!!! Fondant is pretty but not our taste.
At another cake place (Elite) we tried we werent able to taste any other flavors other than vanilla, as it was an upgrade for another flavor. At Edda's we got to have ANY flavor. Totally worth it! Besides the cake moisture at Edda's sold us.......Their Chocolate flavor is to DIE for and Marble flavor is off the Hook. I wanted Marble, Hubby wanted Chocolate, we went in the middle because we both Loved Vanilla Rum.

My wedding cake was so beautiful!! It was just what I wanted....simple but elegant! We even added another layer for a very low cost! The cake was delicious, moist, and enjoyed by all! This was the third time i have had a cake by Edda, and will definitely use her for all events in the future! Yummy!

The cake from Edda's was part of my reception package at the Rusty Pelican. We got to choose the cake and have a tasting which was really fun. The cake selections were beautiful and they held onto my cake topper for weeks because I was out of town and had it shipped straight to them which I really appreciated.

The best cake I have ever eaten. People are STILL raving about it! All I gotta say is vanilla run is where its at!!

We ordered our wedding cake from Edda's Cake Designs in Pembroke Pines as part of our wedding package with Catering Concepts. We were able to sample all of the flavors at a tasting event put on by Catering Concepts and decided to go with chocolate for the bottom layer and amaretto for the top layer, as these were provided at no additional cost. We loved the actual design of the cake...two layers with white butter cream, a lavender band around the bottom of both layers and a beautiful sugar orchid on top. Our guests raved about the moistness and flavor of the cake. Thank you to Edda's for making our fantastic wedding cake!

Contracted Cake Designs by Eddas in Coral Gables, FL. I was happy with the cake but unhappy with the service at the bakery.

They get an A- only because I had a meeting with Edda the first time and when I arrived they told me she was too busy to meet with me. Other than that everything else was perfect. Their flavors were absolutely delicious. They were also included in my venue’s package so all I had to pay for was to upgrade the flavors but that was so cheap compared to Ana Paz which I also went to taste. Our guava and red velvet buttercream cake was delicious and the design was exactly what I had imagined. Beautiful! I would recommend Edda’s for sure.

Edda's was very easy to work with, and the cake came out perfect! It was beautiful, just the right size, and absolutely delicious! We did a different flavor for each tier, which didn't cost any extra, and they were all fantastic! It was delivered on time with no issues.

Actually located in Pembroke Pines... I selected this vendor based on relationship with my hotel as a preferred bakery for my package. It was a bit challenging to handle the color swatches via mail because they dont really follow up. For those who have destination weddings like me, it didnt work out for me to taste the cake flavors because they require an appointment which I couldnt do ahead of time since I came to town to see venues and wasnt able to make a second trip. They wouldnt accomodate. BOTTOM LINE: The cake looked beautiful and tasted good.

AMAZING wedding cake!! It was exactly what i wanted and the decorations i gave to add on looked beautiful! Cake and Design by Edda's came as part of my wedding package with Fetes and Events. From the tasting of the different cakes to the design everthing went smoothly and it was delicious!!! Can't wait till my one year anniversary to eat the top of the cake!!!

My wedding cake was a simple design but still looked and tasted amazing! Edda's is well known in Miami for their great cakes and I can vouch for that.

A cake was provided in the package we obtained at our venue and chose Edda's. I met with Grace and found her to be pleasant and easy to work with. I went for cake tasting, told her what I wanted, provided some reference photos (I had a very simple cake) and followed up the week before the wedding when I delivered my cake topper. Cake was delivered as expected, it tasted great, it looked great and I have no complaints!

Our cake was DELICIOUS!!! We chose a simple design and they matched the color I wanted perfectly. We had such a great experience with them from the tasting to the wedding cake on the big day!

I am not giving them a full 5/5 b/c they forgot to add my cake topper; however, the cake was beautiful (created exactly as I asked for it, sans the topper) and tasted delicious.

The wedding cake is a big deal to a lot of couples, especially the bride! My cake came from Edda's Cake Designs in the Pembroke Pines location. I was very nervous because the store front is not very elaborate,but who cares as long as the cake looks and tastes as good as mine did! My cake was so beautiful and it was very moist and fresh. Some places cakes are so old and dried out becauae they are made so far in advance, my cake was made fresh! They had my cake to the venue on time and there was not one thing wrong with it. They are pretty good about working with your budget and the design(s) you want, they will also give you their professional opinion when asked for it. I will definitely use them again when I need a special cake made!!

Our venue gave us a choice of three bakeries to pick our wedding cake from. I was so happy to see Edda's was on the list. Their cakes are delicious. When we stopped by for a tasting, I was informed that their tasting appointments were booked for the next two months. They're busy, but they're flexible too...they gave us a cake tasting to go! Our cake was beautiful, and exactly as I had pictured it. Our top tier is in the freezer, and I'm not sure it'll make it to our one year anniversary.

Overall, the cake tasted great for our wedding. However, I was a little disappointed when I received a call a day or two before the wedding asking what colors I wanted the cake to be. I specifically told them what we wanted during the tasting and I was unable to remember exactly what we told them. I told them to decorate it however they wanted to-which I knew was risky. It definitely was not what I pictured as my wedding cake. It still was nice, but not what I wanted. I was a little disappointed because it was easier to dictate what I wanted at the tasting through pictures and samples. Months later they wanted me to dictate the same idea over the phone days before the wedding which I was unable to do.

I got my wedding cake through Edda's. It was included in our wedding package. The only thing that I did not like was when we went in to do the tasting, there was only one girl working behind the counter and conducting our tasting. She gave us a few samples to taste then came back to ask what we decided. The cake was good and the design was just what I wanted.

My wedding cake from Edda's was beautiful and delicious! Our three tiered fondant cake was very reasonably priced, even with the sugar flowers. They had a great selection of flavors and the cake itself was very fresh and moist. We worked with Grace, who was super helpful and friendly. We worked with the Kendall location for the cake that was included in our package; we preferred the staff and the level of attention more than the Coral Cables location. The cake was exactly as we ordered, beautiful and delicious. The staff was patient with all our questions and flexible with our requests.

Our anniversary cake was created by Edda's Cake design. It was the focal point for the evening and it was just perfect for us. Edda's team was able to customize many features that was not in our hotel package. They were very helpful and we enjoyed the entire experience with them.

I used these guys for some of my clients' weddings and used them for my own, too. The cakes are delicious and they did a fine job with setup and ensuring everything turns out perfectly.

Esther at Edda's Cake Designs in Coral Gables, FL was phenomenal!!! She did a gorgeous job with my wedding cake....making it exactly how I dreamed!!! She paid attention to so much detail in creating such a beautiful masterpiece! She also was in charge of my groom's cake; that was the talk of the evening! It looked amazing!!!! She went off of my pictures and description to make it as real as possible! Amazing service and gorgeous work!

My cake was included with the package I received from my venue (Deer Creek Golf Club). While I did not get to choose my cake vendoe, I was very pleased with the cake I got from Edda's. All I heard frommy guests was how delicious and moist the cake was (and I could not agree more!). I would definitely recommend Edda's to anyone looking for a wedding - or any special occasion- cake!

Yummy yummy yummy!!! We loved our wedding cake and so did our guest!! We went with the key lime flavored cake with buttercream frosting and it was a hit! Grace at the shop in Coral Gables was amazing with helping us decide on a design. We will be ordering more cakes from her and her team in the future!

I designed my cake to match a detail i had on my invitations, menus, programs, and so forth. My cake was beautiful.. but was not exactly as it was supposed to be. Even though they had done a drawing of what I wanted, and wrote notes, they still delivered it differently than it was supposed to be. We also had to call multiple times about the delivery time - they kept giving a later time than it was supposed to be, but thankfully my wedding coordinator was on top of them.

Cake came out beautiful, try to buy your own pendants if you are adding any. The store can get packed so be patient.

Edda Cake designs was provided as a vendor for my wedding cake through the package from my wedding venue (Jungle Island). We chose the vanilla rum cake and it was absolutely delicious! The guests are still talking about it!

My wedding venue (Newport Resort) provided a choice with the cake vendor with our catering contract and we chose Edda's. I am so happy with the cake that I asked my husband to get me one for my birthday. We had a three-tiered cake with red velvet on the bottom and the top and lemon in the middle. At first I chose chocolate but changed to lemon about a month before the wedding. There was not a problem at all with changing the flavor. Because it was part of a hotel package, we had a limited selection if I wanted to stay within the contract. I could have chose a more elaborate cake and paid extra but I found a great design with the regular hotel package. The color of the design match perfectly to the color theme of the wedding. I did have to pay extra for the red velvet but it was worth it. I cannot wait until our 1 year anniversary to eat the top of the cake! Only 10 more months to go.

My cake was beautiful!! When I went for my cake tasting the lady sketched my cake design and the best thing is that it was included in my cake package from Jungle Island so I didn't have to pay for an upgrade! I'm not a fan of fondant so I went with butter cream and it looked amazing. I went with 2 layers of armaretto and 2 layers of vanilla rum, the cake was delicious. I also purchased the rhinestones to decorate the cake on my own and the staff at Edda's didn't have a problem with putting it on the cake at no cost. We did not have enough budget to upgrade to a fondant, but they did a beautiful butter cream design that looked just like it was fondant! It was a 5 tier cake that looked absolutely stunning, and the people at Edda's cake allowed me to combine two of their designs so I had my own unique cake design that looked absolutely fantastic!. I was also between two flavors when I did the tasting, so they suggested we do half and half and that is just what we did!.

Can't wait to have another ocassion to order a delicious cake from Edda's cakes! Looking forward to trying our cake on our first year anniversary as well!

We had both our wedding cake and a grooms cake from Edda's, and they were fantastic! After going to our cake tasting we fell in love with the Vanilla Rum cake and have since ordered them for every occasion!! Our cake was beautiful and so tasty! All of our guests commented on how fantastic the cake was.

Our cake was perfect!

I had very specific ideas of how I wanted our cake to look, down to the color of the icing. Grace was wonderful about not making me feel like a control freak or abnormal and everything turned out beautifully. I dropped off the ribbon for the base of the tiers and the cake toppers and it all showed up on our wedding day. The icing was just the right hue of pink and literally was the icing on the cake! Of course, the cake itself was absolutely delicious! I can't wait for our top tier a year from now... LOL!
