We are still waiting to see the final product, but all in all Edison is a pleasure to work with. He shot an engagement video for us which was showed at the end of one of our slideshows during our reception-- it was really well done, almost like a music video/5 minute documentary! Edison is very talented, very accomodating (he came out to our suite at 7AM to shoot us getting ready although it was oh-so cramped in the hotel room), and just a very nice guy in general. He's a friend of my brother's, and did his wedding video as well-- which is amazing to say the least, and that was when he had first started in the business.

Edison is very talented at his work. He is very professional, and easy to work with. His camera guys were very discreet, and non-obtrusive during the wedding. His style to his documentary style movies is very unique and creative. Truly different than other videographers.

Edison and his partner were our videographers for our wedding and they did a really good job capturing our most precious moments. They only thing I had to say about them was that they did not shoot the cocktail hour which is a bit disappointing. overall, they are creative, prompt and hard-working.

Edison rocks. He worked with us on price and was very professional throughout. On the day of he was sweet and stayed far enough outside of the action to get a good shot but not be in the way. His style and equipment are very NOW and not old style wedding videos. We love our dvd! It's like watching a professional documentary with all the best angles you'd expect. Most importantly... it isn't boring. Most people watch the wedding video once and then pop it out for anniversaries if that. We've pulled it out to show it off that's how much we love it. I highly recommend Edison for everything video... wedding or otherwise. :)

FAQ for Edisonian Studios
Audio: Watch portions of the video as recorded in different environments of the wedding day; getting ready, ceremony, reception. Does the audio sound clear? Is it echoing through the halls of the ceremonial venue? Does it sound muffled or scratchy off the MC's voice?
Video: Note the lighting and exposure. Is the picture too dark or too bright? Are the skin tones well corrected to the lighting conditions? What about the camera angles? Do you like the way the subjects were framed, or do they seem too boring holding a shot for so long? What about the stability of the shot? Is it steady?
Visual Effects: Be careful with this one. Some videographers may be using effects that you may find "cool", but will they withstand the test of time?
Conclusion: Tools do not make the artist. Uncle Joe with a $10,000 camera will not be a better storyteller than Steven Spielberg with a handheld household camcorder. Professional wedding videographers should know not only how to handle the equipment they own, but more importantly, how to bring the artistic element into the final product.
