Lindsay and I really can't express in words how thankful we were to have your as our Wedding Photographer. From your outstanding customer service throughout the entire planning process to the product you delivered on wedding day, everything was superb and helped make our wedding truly perfect.

As you know, southwest Michigan has a special place in our hearts. We wanted to make sure picture of us were captured in the vineyards of the wineries, as well as the beaches of New Buffalo, just as the sun set over the Lake. We didn't know how this could happen, especially with us living in the western suburbs of Chicago. The fact that you, without batting an eye, offered to meet us two hours around the Lake on a Sunday afternoon, so all that is special to our relationship could be captured in our Engagement Photos, was more meaningful to us than you know.

Based on your experience and expertise, you understand not all goes as planned when preparing for a wedding. Every time an unexpected wrinkle came up, you showed incredible professionalism, and adjusted around our schedule. Not very many people are as willing to be that flexible and for that, thank you.

We spent nearly a year planning our wedding. A year’s prep for an event that lasted one day. An event and a day that we wanted to be perfect. Based on the quality of your work product, Lindsay and I now have hundreds of reminders of the best, most perfect day of our lives.

All that being said, please accept this note as our way of saying “Thank you!”. Thank you for having an incredible personality and for making us laugh every step of the way. Thank you for capturing Lindsay and I in the place where we fell in love. Thank you for being professional, flexible, understanding, supportive, and for producing such an outstanding work product. Edward was awesome. Not only does he take AMAZING pictures but he is such a fun person. My entire wedding party loved him! He was so laid back and made the experience even better with his happy attitude. Words do not describe how grateful I am that he was our photographer. Edward was such a pleasure to work with! My husband and I could not have asked for a better photographer! Being a couple who lives out of state, Edward always kept up with our crazy schedule and met with us when we were in town. He is well organized, flexible and he was so much fun to work with. Our pictures turned out amazing and our picture book gets kudos from all our friends and family! We were so happy to have Edward be part of our special day and he captured every moment perfectly!

You didn't do that in a staged and unnatural way, but did it incorporating thought, emotion, artistry, and tradition. Your work helps tell the story of our day from each expression, detail, and memorable moment. You were you were thoughtful, thorough, planned out, efficient, but not intrusive. We felt as though you had a plan that followed our vision. When we share our wedding pictures people's faces light up. The photographs are stunning, clean, artistic, natural, and look like they belong in magazines. The art book you helped put together is truly that: ART. Edward was absolutely wonderful to work with. I would recommend him to everyone who needs a photographer and wants a great experience and great photos!
Edward was able to keep a relaxed, comfortable and fun atmosphere the whole time during our engagement session and my entire wedding day. My husband, who is not a huge fan of picture taking, had a great time and was completely mesmerized at the quality of our photos. So was I! Edward was able to capture moments in a way I've never seen before. My wedding album is amazing!

How do we start? I attended a bridal show in Tinley Park, Il where I first met him. His work stood out beyond belief! Eds' eye for detail and personality was what sparked my intrest in his services. After looking at different photographers and companys none matched the personal touch that we thought we wanted. On our first meeting he drove out to us at least two hours round trip plus the two hours we sat at panera and reviewed his work and went over the different packages. Our package included the engagment shoot which we had to reschedule at least twice once because my soon to be husband had the swine flu and the second because the weather was too humid. He was so pleasant to work with and knew what would look excellent, the poses looked so natural and we never felt uncomfortable. We were so happy with him that day, and was so relieved to see that he wasn't going to make our wedding day chaotic with rushed photos. Ed was at my mothers' house at least an hour before his scheduled time and took the time to walk around and get a feel for the upcoming photos. His attention to detail does not stop however at photography, any questions we had or rescheduling that needed to be done was never a problem. He was always just a phone call away and returned the call the same day if he did not anwser which was very rare. Ed made our day special with the photos he took, I can honestly say that no one or any company can come close to his work!!!

Ed is a FANTASTIC photographer. The photos that were taken of our wedding were nothing short of stunning. He very clearly values quality and it shows. He is also very knowledgeable and is willing to step in with a helping hand when things start to get hectic. Can't recommend him enough.

When looking for a wedding photographer, Danielle and I wanted to find someone unique, who would capture our most special day. We had talked to numerous photographers before meeting Edward, all of whom gave us no guarantees of who would be on-site for our wedding, and provided no personal attention. After talking to Edward once, we knew we found the person we were looking for. Edward took the time to meet with us personally, multiple times before our big day. We discussed the type of photography we wanted (a mix of photojournalism and conventional). The day of the wedding, he took care of all of the details, while allowing us to enjoy our day. His pictures captured the raw moments of our ceremony and reception - and most of the time, we didn't know he was shooting! He even worked with us to get certain pictures out of the way early, so we could enjoy the night with our family and friends. He also took the time to visit our reception location (Patrick Haley Mansion in Joliet, IL) in advance, so he could plan shots in advance, instead of trying to figure it out the night of. A incredible professional, with a personal touch. We absolutley love the hundreds of pictures he took, and recommend Edward to everyone we know.

Steve and I were so thrilled with our wedding pictures! We were looking for a photographer that knew what pictures to take when but also would ask for our input, and we got exactly that! When we sat down with you before our wedding we really felt like you got to know us and what we wanted, and you made everything feel very personal. On our wedding day you made us feel so comfortable and made taking pictures fun. We couldn't believe how many amazing pictures you took! I cannot tell you how many compliments we have gotten on our wedding album. We would recommend you to all our friends and family!

Edward Weiland was fabulous! It was truly an awesome experience working with him. He was professional and extremely fun! Our photos were amazing! Everyone was blown away by all the details and emotions that were captured.

One word that I could best use to describe Edward Weiland would be Excellence! I absolutely loved the way that he was so organized, he knew exactly what pictures to take and where to take them. His way of doing things were smart he sat down and talk to me about everything I wanted and what I didn't want, there was not a single picture he took that I didn't want!! He made my day go absolutely smooth. There is nothing negative to say about him. His eye for an excellent picture is right on every picture he took was goregous...I will recomend him to every couple that I run into. I couldn't of asked for more perfect pictures than the ones he provided.

Edward Weiland was fabulous! It was great to speak to our photographer (not a receptionist or office manager) every time I had questions, concerns or ideas prior to the wedding. He met with us several times and previewed all the venues so his time on our wedding day was dedicated to us rather then finding the perfect location for the shots. Our photos turned out beautiful and tell the a story of the day. I can't wait to see our album, my only problem is trying to pick which photos I want in it - there are too many GREAT ones to choose from!

Edward provides creative photography that really captures each moment. He was very open to talking about our ideas, but he also came to the table prepared.
