Edwards Mansion

Maureen was very accommodating when we changed had less RSVPs than we had originally planned. The minister was also great and the food was good. I did not enjoy that there were three other weddings overlapping with my own and there was not enough communication between the dj they use and myself. I did appreciate that they let my team come in so early to set up and get everything ready. Overall it was great for the price.

The great thing about Edwards Mansion is that it does so much for you. I didn't take advantage of all their services because I did find better rates, but they can also include photography, DJ, flowers, officiant, and transportation. Even with finding those on my own, Edwards Mansion did so much that within the first two weeks of getting engaged, I had done a lot. They have several venues for the wedding and reception so it doesn't matter if you are planning a small event or large. The only negative I would say is that they do allow people to wander about to look at the premesis and often have other events going on at the same time. So while we had our reception, another bride was doing her rehearsal across from us. It wasn't too distracting, but it would have been nice if it was a little more private. Oh, and they had the best rates even though you had to cater if you used them for the reception.

Edwards Mansion was very accommodating and flexible when we needed to change our wedding date. They took care of contacting the coordinator, DJ, and caterer for us. The ceremony garden patio and the reception location were stunning. The only issue we had was that the DJ was a few minutes late to start the ceremony music because of a scheduling mix up, but they made it up to us by allowing us to extend the reception a bit longer.

So far Edwards Mansion has been a dream. We are in the middle of planning a wedding and they are very fair on their prices and the accommodations are nice.
The only problem I have so far is you can't get a hold of ANYONE who can help you. The only woman who can, works from Thursday to Sunday I am guessing, since they always let me know that she'll "be back on Thursday" and then when I do call on Thursday or Friday it's always during her 3 hour lunches. I just have a couple add-ons and questions and it has now been week 3 I can't get a hold of her. It's very frustrating.
But everything else so far is ok, I can't really say since I can't get a hold of anyone to move forward with anything. But I'm sure everything will be fine and I will make sure to right a review after I actually do have my wedding.

While the wedding was beautiful, I was not pleased with the officiant and was disappointed in the suites.

I would highly recommend this site for any bride's ceremony and reception. Maureen is the most sweet and helpful person who helped me figure out all of the details of my special day. The wedding coordinator was a little different to work with but she was a nice woman. I would recommend insisting that your officiant be present at the rehearsal to make sure everything runs smoothly. The officiant that they provided was a little long-winded during the ceremony with his million anecdotes, but he was dependable and read all the readings I provided. Overall, any bride would be happy having their special day here.

The location was so beautiful! We did not book the location that far in advance and they were able to accomodate us. We loved the location and the pictures were amazing!

The people that work here are so sweet and accomidating, I switched my wedding date and she allowed me to forward my deposit which alot of place won't allow. We even stayed there in the loft which was sooo lovely. I really enjoyed my experience with them.

If you are looking for a FUN but not entirely expensive and glamorous wedding this is the place. It was simple yet fun! And i was so reasonably priced. The DJ they have is awesome. He was the one person there that seemed to want to make my day super special which was great! The guests told me the food was great....I however did not eat becase of all the adrenaline.

Edwards Mansion was wonderful in helping my day be truly special. Their prices are unbelivable and their food was better than any restaurant I had been to! Everyone there was so helpful and made my wedding day PERFECT!!! I love how most things are included, or can be added to my package for a small fee. The price I paid for my wedding and reception might be less than some weddings, but it was certainly just as good as any wedding costing considerably more!
