Edna helped make my wedding flawless from beginning to end. She helped create a cohesiveness from the invitations all the way to the reception decor. She worked endlessly on the day of to ensure nothing within her power could go wrong and I can honestly say that the entire day went perfectly!

Since I was living in Georgia planning a wedding in Boston, I needed to depend on my planner to take the lead with vendors and timing. Edna did just that and more. She has the most incredible contacts and I swear I had the best vendors of any bride. Her connections gave us some added bonuses that we would not have received without her.

Edna's assistant Kasie helped make my life a lot easier on the day of by being with me throughout the morning and helping me keep calm when I thought we were going to be late to the church. All of my attendants loved having her around!

About a month and a half before our August 27, 2011 wedding, my fiance (now husband) and I hired Kasie Blanchette of EFD Creative to take care of the day of coordination of our wedding. EFD Creative was recommended to us by our officiant. We ultimately ended up hiring them because Edna, the owner, immediately contacted me soon after I inquired and we spoke over the phone about our needs and expectations. All of the other companies I inquired with sent me information over email, which is fine, but after I had such a wonderful conversation Edna, I knew I wanted to work with her company.

I don't know how we would have pulled our wedding off without Kasie. From the first time I met with Kasie I knew we were getting much more than "day of" services. Kasie made me feel like I was her number one client at all times. She told me to contact her whenever I needed, which I absolutely did, and I always got an immediate response. From day one, she made me feel totally comfortable with leaving a lot of the details and coordination in her hands, which I thought would have been difficult for me, since my fiance and I had planned everything ourselves up until then. I never for one second doubted that Kasie understood our vision and expectations for our wedding day.

Kasie diligently contacted all of our vendors far ahead of time to let them know the details of the day and the timeline, she attended our site visit, and was there for the rehearsal. She gave me great recommendations and advice about things I was completely clueless about. Kasie made sure I didn't have to worry about one thing on my wedding day.

My wedding was the day before the dreaded hurricane Irene. It was raining, but my wedding was perfect. The night flowed effortlessly thanks to Kasie - not only because of how hard she worked that day, but because of all the work she did leading up to the day. The ceremony had to be moved into the tent last minute and I didn't have to lift a finger and not once did I worry that something wouldn't be the way I wanted it. I remember seeing Kasie a few times soaked to the bone, but always with a smile on her face.

My wedding day was absolutely perfect rain and all and I seriously couldn't have done it without Kasie. Both Edna and Kasie were wonderful to work with.

Edna Dratch Parker is the BEST!!! Planning my daughter's wedding was a real challenge, because she and her fiance, who both live in China, were here in Boston for only a week in August to prepare for the February wedding at the Hampshire House. Edna jumped into action, lined up superb vendors for us -- officiant, florist, musicians, DJ, transportation, hair and make-up, calligraphers etc -- and she worked tirelessly from August until the event in early February. She was proactive throughout the process, efficient and organized, and communicated to us in a very timely manner. She's an excellent project manager and kept us all on track with time to spare.

Edna is not only a superb project manager; she also brings artistic insight and sensibility. She helped us develop the winter theme for the wedding -- a simple snowflake -- and helped us with colors and themes. She also offered creative ideas, particularly with respect to the distribution of personalized gifts for guests that my daughter and fiance brought back from China. I should add that Edna is highly perceptive about her clients -- she has a great feel for their personalities and desires and what will work for them.

Edna also made sure wedding day proceeded flawlessly. She worked with us the night before the event and coordinated activities on wedding day. She even went last-minute shopping for some essentials we forgot to bring!

The event was everything my daughter and her now husband had hoped for -- elegant, intimate and stunningly beautiful. Everyone had a great time and I cannot tell you how many guests told me it was the best wedding they ever attended. My daughter, her husband and I could not have been more thrilled. I cannot say enough about Edna and would be happy to provide a personal recommendation for anyone interested in talking with me.

Living over 600 miles away from the wedding venue, we relied on Edna for ideas, connections, and getting things done well, on time, with a smile and with experience. She became a trusted friend to our family as she solidly and discreetly helped deliver the wedding of my daughter's dreams. It was a beautiful, elegant, fun, memorable, and yes, stress-free day. Edna Parker Dratch knows what you don't know. She knows how to put together a fabulous invitation at a reasonable cost. She know what's too much to ask of a bridesmaid. She can be a knowledgeable third party when you and the bride don't agree. She is a calming reassuring presence when you think you're going to lose it. She knows what looks good together and what doesn't. She knows what everything should cost. She's very accessable and she'll do the hard stuff so leave that to her and relax. I've had the pleasure to work with Edna at EFD creative on several weddings. Being a florist for over 26 years, I generally prefer to work alone with a bride while picking her flower selections. That all changed when I started working with Edna. I found having her there made me think out of the box, and be even more creative! She is very talented and clever with her ideas! Importantly, she keeps everything neatly organized for the bride; flower examples, invitation selections-everything!
