The cake looked amazing. I had brought in a picture of a cake I had seen at a wedding show and they replicated the cake perfect!! It was dead on the picture I had gave them. The cake tasted amazing as well but I had no doubt in their ability of cooking cake. We have been getting birthday cakes and cake pops and cupcakes with them for years!!

I love their cakes!!! I ordered favors from them, and it was soooo pretty =)
every guests loved it! Melody, the owner of the store helped me a lot, so that I didn't have to worry about the favors at all!
I recommend this bakery to everyone who would like to have both cute and delicious favors and cakes =)

Great cake company to work with. They were professional, good value and as always the cake was awesome. I love their cakes and always have, so when it came time for our wedding, I didn't even think of any other place to get my cake from. The cake looked amazing - definitely the center piece of the wedding like we wanted. AWESOME!

We had a great experience with Ele! It's a little on the expensive side but they do gorgeous work! The cake was both beautiful and delicious and we had no problems with their service. Everything went very smoothly!

The tasting was so much fun for my husband and I and Ele was so accomodating. Our cake turned out beautifully...so tasty for an amazing price!

Delicious Cake

Cake tasted amazing.... dissapointed on the cake though. The grooms cake looked lopsided and the wedding cake it self looked sloppy compared to the pictures i saw. I had to plan the wedding from out of state so all i had to review the cake company was through the internet. I wasnt 'wow'd' by the cake like i expected. The photographer even took a random picture of the cake and i could see parts of the cake that wasnt even covered properly with icing. Wish the cake looked as well as it tasted.

We are so glad we used ele Cake Co. for our daughter's wedding. Our daughter made the decision to try this bakery first, and I'm glad we stuck with it. The cake they delivered for the reception was truly gorgeous AND very delicious! They followed our instructions to a "T", and with the florist's addition of fresh flowers, the cake was stunning. The portions were very generous and served more than the size actually indicated! We had a lot left over---lucky for us!! Brides---check out ele Cake Co. as soon as you choose a wedding date. You will not regret it!

I have had cakes for my birthday made by the ladies at Ele since I was a little girl, so there was no question where I wanted my wedding cake from. We actually went with cupcakes and we did not spend extra for the wedding cupcakes, we just got normal vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing. They were less than $1 a piece ($10/dozen). They were very fresh and it was no problem picking them up and transporting them ourselves.

We just ordered a very small cake for our wedding as we served chocolate mousse to the guests for dessert. However, we still wanted a little cake for the cutting ceremony and for people who just don't feel like they've been to a wedding until they've had a slice of cake! ele was super helpful and agreed to make us a small cake- one that was the size of a birthday cake but still looked like a real wedding cake. They had a ton of flavors and created a beautiful little cake based on my descriptions and suggestions. It served about 25 people and only cost $28 including the custom decorating fee. They even did it on short notice- I ordered it just three weeks before the wedding.

I used to order from Ele' when they were a taste of elegance and the cakes just aren't the same. They are still good but, not as good as before. I do think they are a little over priced but, you can always count on them in last minute binds.

YUMMM! Our cake was absolutely delicious and had our guests begging for seconds! We chose three different flavors; lemon, chocolate and white..all were amazing but the lemon was by far the best! I had Ele arrange my fresh flowers on my cake and it turned out beautiful! They did exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have picked a better place to make my wedding cake. I have received so many compliments on how beautiful my cake was. Thank you Ele!!

The cake itself was wonderful. We were sort of picky, but had no idea what we wanted. The designer was wonderfully and gave us more than what we could've asked for! We were a little worried about having a clean, simple cake without using fondant, but it turned out wonderfully. We had a different flavor for each of the 5 layers, and our guests absolutely loved it!

I did not know ordering a cake was so complicated. First we had a consultation where we tasted like 20 different fillings and 20 different frostings. After about the tenth they all started tasting the same. My fiance (now husband picked out a two tier raspberry cream cake. Make your consulation appointment early because they stay filled up

I used ele Cake Company for my wedding and had no problems with them. I did not use a "custom" cake, I picked one they had on their website when they were A Taste of Elegance. I made a couple of small changes to the cake - changed the color of the daisies they had used, and changed the bead border color (which I later asked to be changed to ribbon - which was an easy change to make). They aldo did a grooms cake for me. They airbrushed a cake camo colored and put his SSG rank on the cake. I gave them a concept for that, and it came out perfect. They also gave me a military discount. Plus I think their cake is amazingly good. This weekend I will see how it tastes after being frozen for a year. I highly recommend.

Cake was beautiful and tasty. I do think they are a little pricey for what you get but all in all, they were fantastic.

The cake was wonderful - everyone at the reception told me just how good it was. They did a beautiful job putting it together and coordinating the flowers with our florist. The cake was a bit expensive but it was worth every penny!! I never had any communication problems and I had someone constantly keeping in touch with me to confirm things were going smoothly. I think I need to go back now and order more chocolate cake because we didn't get to taste any from our cake since everyone liked it so much!!! :) (Not upset because that's a compliment!)

Our cakes were wonderful, tasty, beautiful, and delivered on time and set up correctly. The grooms cake they did for us was a hit!! (1949 Packard from pictures of groom's car.)

Problems - after they moved to their new location, I couldn't figure out where the wedding cake area was. And no one was around to get me going in the right direction. Annoying. Also, the contact person took forever to contact me to get final details. Two days before the wedding (and not returning my emails until the day of the wedding) was TOO LATE. I was in a panic at one point because I couldn't get a phone call through for several days (maybe because they had just moved).

If they want to be high class and charge high class, they have to treat their customers a little better.

Personally, I am not much of a 'sweets' kind of person. Going into my tasting I as somewhat nervous and just wanted to find something my guests would like. The wedding coordinator was very nice, helpful, and personable. The cakes I tasted were remarkable. Also they had tons of pictures for me to go through. I ended up also getting a groom's cake as a surprise and it came out to be 10 times better than what I had expected and my groom loved it. Taste of Elegance, who is now called Ele, was so good to me on my wedding day that I try to think of any reason I can to go get more cakes from them.

Excellent service, great tasting cake, exactly what they had described to us. The buttercream frosting is delicious and they warned us before hand that it wouldn't look really white in pictures if we were worried. We also bought a groom's cake as a surprise and it turned out great in the shape of a frog!

You should hear the raves about my cake!! From the moment people smelled the mouthwatering buttercream frosting to the last crumb that was left, our cake was phenomenal. It was so scrumptious that not a slice was left except for the top of the cake that was saved for us!! They were awesome to work with and were able to take my dreams in my head and make the cake I had dreamed of!!

I couldnt be happier with how our cake turned out. ATOE was so helpful throughout the whole process and really let us be creative when it came to designing our cake. The cake was beautiful and it tasted amazing...our guests all loved the cake. It practically melts in your mouth. Outstanding!

Best cakes I've ever eaten. Their butter cream icing is to die for and they different cake flavors are all amazing. They designed and made a very beautiful cake for use and the taste was incredible. They are very professional and work hard for you and are flexible with your ideas. Would highly recommend. P.S. If you ever just drive by, stop in and get yourself a Turtle Brownie, you'll be glad you did.

Cake looked yellow in all our photos because of the buttercream icing. Cake was gorgeous and tasted fresh!

Very fun to work with! They provided a great tasting sample for us, and accommodated our requests without a problem. Their buttercream frosting is the best I've had, and their wide range of cake and filling flavors ensures that there is something for everyone.

Our cake tasted sooooo good! I loved it and my husband and I can't wait to eat the top layer on our first anniversary!

The decorations on the cake were just what we wanted - the cake looked great! We didn't see them deliver the cake on the day of the wedding, but the cake was there early and intact! I tasted cake samples of a few other bakeries at a bridal show and liked their cake the best! They give you samples of cakes, fillings, and icings when you go in to order your cake - all of them were great! (I recommend the buttercream icing!)

The cake was simply elegant. The frosting was so flavorful and fluffy. A must book for wedding cakes.

The samples were great, but the cake ended up being really dry. It may have been because we got married on 07/07/07, and I know they were very busy, so I wasn't too upset. We chose A Taste of Elegance, because their samples were the best, even though they were a little pricey we were willing to pay extra for good cake. The cake tasted like it was 3 or 4 days old. Again...this might have been because it was the busiest day for weddings, so don't cross them off your list.

A Taste of Elegance was the only bakery around that would do a wedding cake with all my husband's allergies. I knew that they were professional when I asked if they could make a gluten-free and dairy-free cake and they said sure. I saw way too many other bakers look at me and say there's no way.

Our groom’s cake was done by ele (location in Moraine). They gave us a cake tasting even though it wasn’t the main cake (which was done by a friend). It was delicious and so exquisitely done.

they were late getting there to deliver, luckily it was enough before my wedding, and the icing border didnt match the ribbon for the cake at all. they didnt even offer me anything for the horrible mixup. never use these people, they are horrible!!!!!
