Electrical Industry Banquet Hall

Although I was a bit skeptical to use a “union hall” for our reception, I was pleasantly surprised when we visited to check it out. It is really a beautiful hall that is quite spacious and has a large bar. The rental fee is very reasonable, and they also allow you to bring your own alcohol which was important to us and saved us quite a bit of money. The evening of our reception, they turned down the temperature in the hall for me when we felt warm (all the way down to 63!) and I really appreciated that!! No one likes to be sweaty! The only negatives I can think of are that it is in the lower level of the building and the elevator is unbelievably slow, so any guests who are unable to use the stairs have to wait for what seems like an eternity. The other (minor) complaint that I had is that the table linens were not ironed before being placed on the tables. The table runners I provided covered up most of the wrinkles, but it still bothered me a little.
