Elegant Buffett

Great food but fails to follow through on services. He tried to take the table cloths 3 hours before the wedding. If his service was better, I would have loved to have recommended him to my friends because the food was amazing. THe problem was he put himself and his needs before the bride and grooms. I didn't like that at all. If you decide to use him, bring a tape recorder.

While the Mexican buffet that we ended up having tasted very good, the owner of this company was very unprofessional and unorganized. He made me very nervous about a month before the wedding. He changed his billing and told my mother-in-law that she couldn’t pay with a credit card for our balance, after he had previously OK’d this when we decided to go with him. I was afraid that our food wasn’t’ going to show up at the reception. It did show up and turned out nicely, but I would not go with Lou or Elegant Buffet again.

Lewis and his friendly staff were very helpful in helping us decide on a Mexican feast. The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious. There was a royal display of flowers and décor for the banquet table. We were slightly disappointed about not having a chocolate fountain for display with the fruit trays. We had a decorative glass bowl of chocolate fondue for the bridal table. Also, we thought we would be getting silverware but had plastic ware. Otherwise, they were on time for setup, display, and cleanup.

When we first visited this caterers website and went to meet in his little office at the time, we were a bit skeptical. But the menu looked nice and afforadable. However, he was very professional. He was on time, courteous and we recieved lots of compliments on the food. I would recommend.
