We stumbled upon Lori of Elegant Cake Creations online, and is easily one of the best finds we've ever discovered. I am so happy that we went with her for my sister's wedding this past weekend! The cake was more delicious than any cake I could have done myself. The fondant was delicious, I couldn't stop eating it. Her professionalism was incredible, I could go on and on about the pleasant experience we had with her. I've already referred her to a friend for her niece's wedding. She's talented, has been in the industry long enough to know what works, and what doesn't. And she's flexible! She's so willing to work with the bride and family to make things just right. Lori is definitely the one to choose.

OMG Lori is sooooooo amazing!! She was my favorite vendor!! We meet a couple times and she was sooo easy to talk too, super friendly and sooooo creative! She just runs with an idea and creates masterpieces! Out guests are still raving about the cake! She puts her heart and soul into every cake she makes!! And might I add that her cakes are BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh we are obsessed with her and her cakes! Lori is an amazing artist/person. I couldn't have asked for anyone better to make our cake. Granted our wedding was a year ago-- we recently defrosted the top tier for our one year and my husband who despises cake was in love with her delicious fall pumpkin flavor she made for our day. In fact we re-froze it per his request to see how it holds out on our second anniversary !!

In addition to our surprise Lori had a cake made for our one year anniversary in the flavors my husband picked for the middle tier—vanilla and berry (he never got to try it). She even made the cake in a pumpkin design!! (the theme of our wedding).

Lori is so in tune to detail and the personality of her clients. I will use her services from here on out and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us!

Dont use her!!!! Although the design turned out as planned and the cake tasted good, what good is a 5 tier wedding cake that falls before the reception??? The cake was not completely straight when she left (I assumed it was just a little crooked) but it started falling almost immediately. The caterer had to take it apart before the reception even started. I was devastated since this was to be a grand focal point at the entrance of the reception site. I spent about double what I needed for my guests to have the look and size that I wanted, but it ended up in pieces with leftover fresh flowers covering up my design. Both my caterer and a relative that was in the business confirmed there was not enough support to hold such a big cake. I understand we are human and mistakes happen, but she should have been more professional about the situation and accepted responsibility and refunded our money instead of saying somebody bumped the cake. NO ONE was there yet to bump the cake. I have a wedding planner and all my vendors, bridal party etc. that watched the cake fall.

The cake was the first thing we picked out. When we met with Lori, she provided us with so many different cake, fillings and frosting samples which helped give us as many ideas as to what we could possibly have for our wedding. She let us custom design our wedding cake from the shape, size, flavors, fillings, everything. It helped to make our cake as unique and one of a kind as our wedding day was. I loved it!! She matched the color of the cake and its designs to what our invitations looked like. I nearly cried when I saw the cake at our reception, when I tasted it, I was in HEAVEN!! I LOVED my cake!!!

Oh Lori is beyond fabulous! I'm pretty sure we changed the cake design 100 times (seriously) before the actual day, to include the day before! She is such a delight to work with and the passion and dedication she has towards her work shines through and through! The flavors she creates and the creativity she brings to the table are undeniably the best we have come by. We used her for our engagement cake, our grooms cake, as well as our wedding cake. We will be using her for many more events - she will forever be our go to for cakes! Thank you again Lori - you are truly amazing!

We did a wedding cupcake tree and Lori was great at helping us create our vision. We did a tasting with her before and communicated the vision of our colors and overall style. Lori came through with the rest!

Lorri Mefford of Elegant Cake Creations sincerely made my wedding cake dreams come true. Of all the artists we met with, she was the only one who helped us come up with a design (instead of us creating our own cake). Not only was the design we created unique, it perfectly complimented us, and the work was executed beautifully. It was clean, accurate, and absolutely the cake I dreamed about. It looked like it left a Food Network Stage and walked over to our wedding. And of course, it was delicious! Highly recommended!!!

Our cake was awesome in every way. Lori was able to make it exactly how we wanted. It tasted amazing too! I'd recommend her to EVERYONE!

Lori made a classically elegant and delicious wedding cake for our daughter's wedding. She was willing to do anything reasonable in the design of the cake and her suggestions help the finished product be exactly what this bride wanted. Her four tier cake had a different flavor for each tier and every one of them was delicious. The price was competitive and the finished product was superior.

Lori made a beautiful and DELICIOUS wedding cake for our wedding at Encanterra. It was perfect! She is so creative and the flavors were perfect! People ate 3-4 pieces at our wedding because it was so good! The colors and design were perfect as well. The gum paste flowers Lori creates are amazing! We loved everything about our wedding cake! I loved that every tier could be a different flavor combo and that Lori sketched a photo of our cake on the day we went for our tasting. I have to have another event soon just so I can get another cake from Lori!

I can't say enough about Lori!! She is absolutely AMAZING! She was incredibly helpful in finding a happy medium for cake design with my husband and I. And the cake was GORGEOUS! Everything was done from scratch and perfectly sculpted! Not to mention that it tasted amazing!! People raved about our cake forever and I will never forget it!!!

Lori did an excellent job with our wedding cake. She designede exactly what we wanted and we had multiple flavors for our cake. The cake wasa delicious and was a hit with our guests. I highly reccommened her delicious cakes!

Lori was absolutely amazing! Our cake was even more beautiful that I could have envisioned. I had an idea in my head, I explained it to her and she created the most gorgeous cake for us. She was early to the wedding and delivered/set up the cake with plenty of time to spare. We received so many compliments on how beautiful and unique our cake was. The white chocolate fondant was delicious. Lori is available to come to you for a tasting, I live in South Phoenix her office is in Mesa. The sugar flowers were fantastic in looks and taste.
