If you decide to go to Elegant Lace, I highly recommend working with Dee or Maria. My sister who got married in 2008 worked with Dee and I worked with Maria. They are both wonderful and treat you like family. Elegant Lace has a great selection of dresses with many designers and price ranges. I live in Sacramento now but am originally from San Jose. My mom, sister and I found my dress in a store in Sacramento, however I did not buy my dress there because they were so rude. Although I love my sister, I found it so distressing that the consultant at the Sacramento store focused all her interest and attention on my sister versus me. Not to mention they didn't even help button, lace or zip up the dressed I tried. My sister did. I'm glad I waited to buy my dress because I found the same exact dress at Elegant Lace for at least $100 cheaper plus they gave me an additional 15% off because they were doing a little bit of construction and revamping the store. All I can say is that Elegant Lace is the place to go. My 2 cousins and best friend also got their dresses there and were also very pleased.

I had Alison help me try on dresses and she was amazing and super nice. Miki helped me choose my dresses and picked out a few that she thought would look nice on me as well. I loved my dress and it was a great price. The only thing was that my dress came in late. It took 6 months to get my dress in and left me with only 3 weeks for alterations. I had it ordered special because it has a special lace on the bottom and I am very short. So it was extra to get it a shorter length. When it came in, the left side of the dress was the correct length. The right side of the dress was too long and the seamstress cold not make it shorter due to the special decorative lace on the bottom. I don't think it was the stores fault but they should make sure where they get their dresses from the do a good job of making it. I just had to make sure I didn't trip on the right side of my dress. We also got our suits there for the guys. Miki was a great help with picking what style and look we wanted. She knew what she was talking about. Although all the cufflinks fell out of most of the guys shirts. My husbands jacket sleeves were too long when he went to pick up the jacket. He said they did a quick hem that was sloppy, but I guess it got the job done. Couldn't really tell unless you looked at it. So that was fine. Overall it was a good experience. All almost fixable.

This store has beautiful dresses and I fell in love with my dress the moment I put it on! The staff there are great but there is one old lady at the front counter that is really rude, beware! I went in to make a payment and the old lady made me feel as if it was an inconvience for her to help me.

I was very pleased with all of the employees here as well as their customer service. They placed an order for a custom made veil for me that went just beautifully with my gown which was purchased at another bridal store. They had the veil ready for pick-up in less than half the estimated time frame. And, if needed, they offered to steam the veil - free of charge, the day or so before the wedding.Nice, helpful staff. Great value for a custom veil - only $60!

i originally wanted a maggie sottero dress so i called all bridal stores in the bay area for the best deal. elegant lace bridal had 15% off deal for everything on the month of november if you donate certain number of food items. this saves you a lot on your dress and other accessories. stacia found me a dress that was similar and even better than the original dress i wanted for a better price. i chose a literally "elegant lace" casablanca dress with lots of beading. stacia event helped me in and out of dresses. she asks you what your venue and theme is to get an idea of what your style is. it's a good idea to look at more than one bridal shop and compare all of them. take time to find the perfect dress.

My bridal consultant was great and I do love my dress. The owner of the business and her daughter are rude and very unprofessional. When I ordered by dress they told me it would be here in 6 months, which seemed like a long time to be but ok. I called a few times within the six months to make sure everything was still on time. If the dress arrived when they said it would, it would have left me 3 weeks for alternations. When I called about a week before the date they said it would be here the told me the original date they had given me was the date is was going to ship no arrive. So my 3 weeks for alternations turned into two weeks. When both my mother and I talked to the owner about this she was unsympathetic and acted like she did not care. I asked them many times if there was anything they could do to get here sooner and they could do nothing. We finally found out that is was ready and shipped and they shipped it ground!!! The bridal shop should have made them ship it air so it wouldn’t take another week to get here!!!Avoid at all costs!!

I bought a beautiful Maggie Sottero dress at Elegant Lace and I could not have been happier with my dress. It was perfect. The staff was easy to work with and found the dress I had wanted to try on very quickly.

The service was questionable if you didn't get the owner - Mickey. Mickey really knows her stuff and she's fast and responsive. Unfortunately some of her front desk staff tend to take messages and not pass them on or they don't return calls. But if you don't mind doing a little bit of follow up this place is a great location to get your dress. And of course always try to work with Mickey. :) They always have the best prices around town so I highly recommend this store if you're a bride on a budget.

I could not be happier with my purchase from this store. Since day 1 everyone was so helpful, even though i stumbled in 20 minutes before the store closed just to try on one dress, vania my consultant was very patient and kind. I ended up coming back 2 more times before purchasing my dress, and the dress that i decided to order they did not carry in store, but since they did carry that designer they were nice enough to order the dress for me. ( i had already tried on the dress at another store, but did not like the service there, and i was able to save $200 by ordering the dress from elegant lace). And even when I called vania 6 weeks before my wedding asking if it would be possible to still order a veil, she made it happen!

I had a great experience buying my dress here, however, my bridesmaids had a bit of trouble getting dresses ordered, which is why it's not all 5 stars. Cynthia at Elegant Lace was great. She was fun to work with and she gave great advice. They have a great selection of dresses and they don't rush you. I do think they try to get you to order bigger sizes so that you have to pay extra, but all in all it might be my only complaint.I love my dress and I felt like a princess on my wedding day.

Okay, this was the first dress shop that I went to in July, 2010. I had Ala as my consultant and absolutely loved the experience. I went to other shops after this one (David's Bridal--weren't as knowledgable, a little more pricey, Bella Mia--don't care at all about you, and Trudy's-- total snobs). I came back not long after and bought the 2nd dress I had tried on and a veil. Ala accidentally charged me for the whole purchase instead of just taking deposits, which, although that was frustrating, I figured that I would have to pay it all anyway. My dress came in a few months later and I was thrilled! Ala sold me some cups to put into the dress since I wasn't able to find a bra that would go with it. Unfortunately, I am now getting the dress fitted and it is TOO BIG and do to the beading, it can only be taken in so much and the CUPS ARE WRONG too. So talk to your seamstress before you decide on the dress size and lingerie--each designer has different seam allowances, so depending on the designer and the design of the dress, it may be easier to let out than to take in.Onto my veil...Surprisingly, the veil did not come in until the very end of November, FIVE MONTHS AFTER ordering it. That was fine since I'm not getting married until July, but it was the wrong veil. Then they REORDERED it, but when it arrived, they LOST IT and completely forgot about me. So finally, after calling them repeatedly, one of the owners realized the mistake and ordered my veil a THIRD TIME. I finally got it, after ordering and paying for it NINE MONTHS AGO and it has a STAIN.Long story, short:CONS-terrible communication-Lose merchandise-Lie-Employees are uneducated and incompetent-Lose your filePROS-Ala knows what looks good on you-Nice

I thought this place was great. I called around a few vendors to see who had the dress I wanted and to find the best price. Elegant lace had it and at a slightly lower cost than other vendors. It was the first dress I tried there because I had already seen it online and knew I wanted it.

I loved my dress and got an awesome price!! I saw the same dress at Trudys and it was $500 more, same designer EVERYTHING! Elegant lace was friendly and accomodated to me. I was very happy with my dress and the services.
GUEST

I loved my dress and loved the customer service! I got the same dress that was at Trudys for $500 less.. SAME DRESS. They did everything they promised and got a few extras. I would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding dress.
GUEST

Lots and Lots of dresses to choose from and by far the best organized that you can be with a store full of huge dresses. But seriously good job on organization of dresses by section and style.
GUEST

although i decided to get my gown at davids bridal i shopped here but unfortunately the prices were too high for my budget. i wanted to give them a rating because they were really nice and polite to me.

Beautiful choices and employees! The ladies that work at Elegant Lace are helpful and not at all Pushy! They have everything from flamboyant Princess to elegant and simple.

I purchased my bridesmaid dresses and rented our tuxes from Elegant Lace, which resulted in 2 polar spectrum experiences. We looked at other places for our bridesmaid dresses, but found that Elegant Lace had the best price. They offered a discount to the girls if they paid in full, and did an excellent job in measuring the girls and accomodating their payment schedules. The dresses came in a little while before expected, and were pristine quality. All were exactly as expected, including the extra fabric that we ordered. Based on this experience, I was thrilled with Elegant Lace and decided to rent our tuxes from them.Bad idea. The tux process was horrific. First, when we went in there with the guys, the staff only came over to write down what we decided on. There was no advice on the different tux styles, and one of the groomsmen had to explain to everyone the differences. Everything got ordered, and they gave a discount since we had bought our bm dresses from there too. The day came to pick up the tuxes. We called in the AM to see if the tuxes were ready, as we had a PM rehearsal dinner. We were informed the tuxes wouldn't be in until after 3 and we said we would pick them up the next day. At 6:30pm, we got a call saying our tuxes had just come in. The next day (1 day before our wedding), the guys went to go pick up the tuxes...Out of 9 tuxes, 2 fit. These "2" are questionable, as the guys went alone and both said they felt it was huge but that the sales woman convinced them that it was the right size so they took it. When I say they don't fit, what I mean is that they were a FEW sizes too large, small, or super short. Whoever measured messed up, since a handful of the guys who went on the same day were in this boat. My husband was told by the associate "It doesn't matter if its big, its just one day..wear it anyways, who cares..." He responded with that he was the groom and that it was a big deal. We were assured the tuxes would be in the next day by 11 -- which our wedding was at 3 about an hour away..... While one of our groomsmen who was there alone was waiting, he heard the associates in the back area talking about how our party must have all shifted in weight since it couldn't be their fault the tuxes didn't fit. When I called to ask if there was any way possible to get the tuxes in at 8am from FEDEX, the woman on the phone proceeded to scream at me telling me this was all my fault for not picking them up on thursday as we were suppose to..(We tried! And we didn't get a call till 6:30 pm saying they were ready). She full on started screaming at me and when my mom took the phone, she screamed at her and made accusations about our party. We called the general manager who assured us the tuxes would be in first thing in the morning and didn't necessarily make things right, but made it slightly better. When the guys picked up the tuxes the next day, they were there at the time when they were suppose to be and for the most part, there weren't any problems. However, this isn't something you want to be dealing with on the day of your wedding when 7/9 tuxes are WRONG and there is a fear that they still might not be correct when they come. All in all, its unfortunate but I wouldn't recommend elegant lace. I might recommend them for bridesmaid dresses, but would steer clear if you are looking for a tux place.

I found my wedding dress here, along with the bridesmaid dresses and tuxes for the guys. My complaints about this place are as follows: I had very specific colors in mind for our wedding and went here knowing that they have dresses that come in these colors. They tried to talk me out of our color choices many times before finally leaving it to me (thank you! It is my wedding after all!) After placing our orders, they again tried to talk me out of it, saying that people would think it was their fault that the dresses don't match. Um, hello! No one at the wedding cares about you, it's not about your store! Anyhow, the dresses all came in on time, they all looked great and we got plenty of compliments on them, with no changes made! The alterations lady they sent me to was amazing! Thuy was the one really great thing to come out of this store! She fixed everything in record time and was very accommodating! The guys got their tuxes here too. They all fit great, but the colors were mixed up so we had to rearrange the order they stood in so that they matched up with the girls. Kind of lame, but not that big a deal other than my husband called them so many times to make sure the colors were correct that it was annoying that they still screwed that up.

The person who helped me pick out a dress was really great. She knew exactly what type of dress I had envisioned and helped me pick out the right one. I found it odd that her personality changed after I chose a dress different than what she had favored even though they were the exact same price. In any case, people are hard to read sometimes. The important thing is knowing what you want no matter what other people tell you. It's YOUR wedding, not theirs. As long as you have the help of finding your dress nothing else matters. I must say the dresses they had at Elegant Lace were by far of more superior quality than others in the area. Their dresses are not cheap but still not the most pricey as some designer dresses either. They have a great variety and any bride should be able to find something she likes.

"Oh dear" was what i thought when I first came to this place. My friend had recently bought her MAggie Sattero dress here so she recommended it.
The store itself looks like it was still 1975. The owner was a little rude when i told her my wedding date. Since it was so far in advance, they might not have my dress later on.. blah blah blah.
The sample dresses are all in bags and are a little worn and don't seem to be in the best shape. Aside from that, the selection looked better than average and you are able to go through the racks to see if there is a dress you like, which is a plus.
Good place to check out if you are on a budget. They have Augusta Jones - an affordable british designer with beautiful gowns at a reasonable price. I think it is worth a visit if you are in the South Bay (san Jose) area but don't drive from the city to this place. Not worth it.

This store is small bridal salon with a lot of dresses to try on amazingly! Ask for Yerta, she is the best and an expert- kind, caring, gentle, and approachable. No snobbiness at all. They don't rush you like other bridal salons in the South Bay. It's a good place to look at dresses and you may even find your dream dress. They will also follow up with you promptly. Their phone skills initially were not the best; but once you establish a relationship and go in personally, they will go the distance for you.

I shopped around at a few stores in the area and out of town. After working with quite a few sales folks, and feeling a lot of hot air blown up my lace skirt...I found my way to Elegant Lace where I found DAISY. She has been THE BEST help I can ever imagine. She not only took control and gave me alternatives (ones that fit my body type better) to what I was originally looking at (not so great on my body) she helped me play a great practical joke on my MIL. She is not pushy, she knows her designers and knows how to make your exoerience wonderful.

I got my dress and bridesmaids' dresses from here. Synthia, the store owner, helped us. I brought a photo of a Watters WTOO dress I wanted, but was told it wouldn't arrive for a few months. Synthia pulled some dresses off the racks similar in style and I ended up falling in love with the first one she picked out for me (WTOO Alberta). Good experience overall.

Elegant Lace Bridal was awesome! Because we got our invitaions, my dress, the tuxes and accessories all there, they gave us a discount and everything came in on time or earlier. :-)

Over all I had a good experience at Elegant Lace. The store is a bit outdated when you walk in and depending on when you go, be on notice that it could potentially be very crowded with not enough sales people but they do their best to be attentive to everyone. My sales gal was Dee who was super friendly and I appreciated her honest opinions about some of the dresses I was trying on. I narrowed my selection down to two dresses at Elegant Lace and one at Rin's Bridal in San Mateo so I had to think about it for a few days. When I made my appointment to go back to Elegant Lace I chose the day Dee was working and when I went, she wasn't there. They didn't even have me in their appointment book! So I had Micki (manager?) help me and she assisted me with the final decision between the two dresses there. She then measured me and all was well. The gal who ultimately rang me up screwed up the price and I didn't notice until later, but a call to Micki cleared up that problem. That same gal also tried to get me to order a dress size way bigger than what I thought it should be and I held my ground with the size that I was measured for and I am glad I did because when the dress came in, it fit like a glove and only needed to be taken in in the bust.I did have my bridesmaids order their dresses from here. Two of my three bridesmaids were out of state so the dresses were sent to them directly. The quality of the bridesmaid dresses were horrible. When my out of town bridesmaids took their dresses to their respective alterations people, both of their alterations people said these were some of the most shoddy dresses they had seen--like pieces jumbled and sewn together. One bridesmaids top of her dress was so big they weren't even sure they could remove that much material without damaging the dress (luckily they were able to) and the other one was okay after alterations, but the inside of the dress had strings and loose flaps of material!?! rather odd when you pay almost $180 for a dress that is custom made.My wedding dress came in early and I was pleased with that. I also appreciated them letting me take pictures of me in the dresses I was trying on because my mom lives out of state so I had to email her pics of all the dresses I was trying on and alot of places won't let you do that. So aside from the bridesmaids dresses, I had a good experience here.

Elegant lace was wonderful! Even when the company who made my dresses, made them wrong, elegant lace took care of it immediately and I had just what I ordered in time for my wedding! They are friendly and helpful and their prices are awesome!
GUEST

I bought my dress at elegant lace because they had the best prices there. The place could actually use a bit more elegance! :) They weren't super responsive and customer service was actually better at Trudy's (they had the same dress) but they did have lower prices.
GUEST

Elegant Lace Bridal was a life saver for me! I was very stressed about finding a dress, and didn't know where to begin. I really had no idea what I wanted, and had already had a bad experience at another bridal store. They took the time and worked with me to find my perfect dress!
GUEST

Elegant Lace was where I bought my dress, shoes, jewelry, mother's dress, mother's shoes, invitations, bridesmaids gowns, and it is also where we rented our tuxes. Because I bought my dress here, they gave deep discounts on all the other services they provided! We did have a few grouchy salespeople, but we were able to do business mostly with the person who sold me my dress (Maria), who was AWESOME! She is very attentive and shows how much she loves her job!
GUEST

I got my wedding dress here as well as my bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl's dress as well as my invitations and the groomsmen and grooms tuxs. This was truly a one stop shop and It was great for me! There were times where we had to wait for a while to be helped but when we were helped it was good service. My dress was fantastic and fit me perfectly as did my bridesmaid dresses. When you get everything here like I did you get discounts on certain things so if you are watching your budget it definitely helped!

I had a great experience at Elegant Lace. I can remember the first day when I came into the shop looking for a dress. I had several pictures from magazines to which the girls at the shop said that I could go ahead and look for those styles but that they had envisioned me in another style of dress that would compliment my body type more. At first, I didn't know what to think. I thought that I knew what was best for me. So, I tried on ones that I picked out and I also decided to try on some of the dresses that were chosen for me. I worked with Amanda and I was a bit surprised what was chosen for me. To make a long story shorter, she picked better dresses for me than I did for myself and although I did go out to several bridal stores after this initial visit, I eventually came back and purchased one of the dresses that Amanda had chosen for me that initial first day. My dress was gorgeous and all I received were compliments. To those in need of help and who enjoy an honest opinion and good service, you should stop by and visit these guys. I highly recommend them!

Elegant Lace helped me find the exact dress that suited my desires and my budget. The sales people were helpful and the dress came in a timely fashion. I received a call as soon as the dress arrived and all I needed to do was have the hem put up. I appreciate that the owner not only runs a quality business, but she also is interested in helping the community. When I was ordering my dress she was offering customers a discount if they brought food in for the local food bank.

I went to 7 or 8 different places and finally found my dress here. The attendant was very helpful and even let us take a few pics on my phone to send to my mom, who could not be there. She then spent MORE time with my sister while she tried on an hours worth of bridesmaid dresses. I loved my dress and it even came in early (not sure they had much to do with that). Price was standard. They are much more flexible than say Trudys.
GUEST

Absolutely loved my dress. The most beautiful dress. Dress came early.

The store has a huge selection across different price range. I like that I could pick many dresses and try them on. I did not like the no photos policy as I wanted to share pictures with my bridesmaid who lives in Asia and could not be there with me.
While I was in the store, the staff was pretty helpful but I guess they were busy after I left because they did not call me back when I called with questions. I had to call the store twice to get my questions answered.
In the end I did not buy here because the particular dress I liked was priced higher here.
GUEST

I had a bad experience with this vendor. I chose my dress and found that it was cheaper at Elegant Lace than any other bridal store in the area. We made an appointment for fittings and the service was just ok. However, after we bought the dress they took my measurements with my jeans and padded bra ON. I thought this was weird but assumed that since they were professionals, they knew what they were doing. They ended up fitting me for a dress that was two sizes too big. By the time it arrived, we didn't have enough time to order a new dress, and the dress was HUGE on me. Because of the style, it could only be altered so much, and so I had extra fabric and gaps in my wedding dress. I don't know if this was carelessness on their part or if they intentionally ordered a larger size so that their seamstresses would get business. Either way, it was a terrible experience and I was VERY unhappy with it.

I had went to Elegant Lace because I was buying a bridesmaid dress for a wedding I was going to be in. After my fitting for that dress. I took my mom the next day to look at wedding dresses for me. It was so simple. I walked in found a few that looked good in the picture and one that my mom picked out. I didnt like the way it looked on the picture tag. I tried it on with all the accesories that were offered with that dress and I fell in LOVE with it. Our wedding took place on a beach in Carmel, but I was deteremined to get a huge princess dress with a train, because i am simply a princess! The lady that helped us said it would be like a Ralph Lauren ad. I was very excited! I went over my budget for the dress, which i wish now i had found a place to rent a wedding dress...cause now it will almost cost me the same to get it cleaned! YIKES!
GUEST

I was very happy with the dress that I got from Elegant Lace but I have to warn you that you better order it early. My wedding was in July and I ordered my dress the 2nd week of January. They assured my my dress arrive sometime in May. However, my dress did not come in till the 2nd week of June so I was kind of freaking out that that there wouldn't be enough time for alterations once it arrived. It all worked out and I had my dress altered and ready a good 2 weeks before the wedding, but it would have been nice to have had one less thing to worry about when your already worrying about everything else. They do have good quality dresses, but keep in mind ORDER SUPER EARLY!!
GUEST

there were some good things like all the dresses came in early but then that was a good thing because the order one of the flower girls dresses in a girls size 4 and not 18 months like the should but they fixed it

Maria helped me with my dress. She was exceptional!! I never felt rushed or uncomfortable changing infront of a complete stranger. Before we started I told her what I liked and didn't want. We tried on a thousands of dresses. She said after dress 10,001, What about going out of your comfort zone? I think there is a dress your might still like... OMG that was the one!! She has exceptional taste and an honest opinion. She wont be the typical sales person that says EVERTHING look perfect on you. And Ladies try on everything. Even the dress you think you'll hate. I tried on a dress that had a few things that were on my dislike list and it was absolutly perfect on me. Thank you Maria.

I searched forever for a dress that wasn't too expensive and wasn't strapless. On a fluke, I stopped in here thinking that their dresses would be too expensive for me but what the heck. Surprise, they had a rack of floor models, samples, discontinued, etc. that were quite reasonably priced. After months and months of searching, I tried on a dress that fit me like a glove and was the style I was looking for. Because there was some make-up on it from people trying it on and the stitching on the zipper was coming out, I got the dress for a steal. I barely needed any alterations. We fixed the zipper and had the dress dry-cleaned and it was stunning.Staff there were patient, but found that not everything I had looked at had been written on my card, so when I went back in for my veil, they couldn't find notes on the ones I had looked at. Ended up buying veil online as it was much much less expensive. We also rented tuxes there and their pricing was very competitive. We also got a discount because I had bought my dress there. They were easygoing about pick-up and return.

I wanted to look for my dress here because my sister-in-law bought hers at this store. When I called for an appointment, they were very rude. I asked what designers would fit my price range as they ask for you to bring in pictures, and they transfered me to four different people who all told me rudely, "we don't do price quotes". That is fine, but I was just asking which designers were under $2000 so I could look at someone within my budget, not for a quote on a specific dress. Once they understood that, they told me two names in a hurried and rude tone, and hung up on me! They were so rude they hung up on me when I called to schedule an appointment! A friend went there, and her dress was $500 more than where she ended up buying it. They don't allow you to take pictures. I ended up buying a flower girl dress there to avoid driving a long distance, and it took almost 1/2 hour for someone to come ring us up. The flower girl dress came in okay, but there is no way I would buy a wedding dress from them.

Everyone on the sales staff I've dealt with has been very friendly, with no pressure at all. There's no snootiness about being on a budget here; you can be up-front about your budget and your sales person will help you pull dresses from the rack in your range. They also don't force you to get alterations through them -- when you pick up your dress, you get a list of recommended seamstresses.
This was the only bridal store I visited. I did not price my wedding dress anywhere else, but since they press everything you purchase here for no extra charge, I suppose it's worth a mark-up.
I also purchased my crinoline here when I picked up my dress. It is nicer than all the ones I saw online.
I did not get a veil or other accessories, and was not pressured at all.
The only thing that irked me was that I wanted to pick up my dress on a Saturday afternoon, and the person on the phone scheduling my appointment said that they reserve their busiest hours for ladies who were still deciding on dresses. I paid for it, I should get to pick it up whenever I want! But that's a minor issue.

I had a good experience with this shop. I visited about 3. They were a bit out of the way since I'm in Sacramento. But they had a dress there that I loved for a good price. I did have to fight them off with a stick when they told me I HAD TO HAVE a $300 veil. And they did whine and cry when I said that I didn't plan to buy my dress there because of the location. Well they ended up giving me a decent discount on the dress, so it paid for my gas.
I'd look elsewhere for BM gowns. For some reason, those are really expensive. And the rooms are crowded. Def. make an appointment.
GUEST

I like how you can browse all the dresses and choose the ones you want to try on. Most also have the picture on the bag so you can envision what it looks like.
The person I worked with was really sweet. She gave me a lot of great advice and didn't pressure me at all. I ended really loving a Casablanca dress here.
The store and dressing room isn't the nicest-looking. It's kind of open and reminds me a lot of David's Bridal.
GUEST

I've used this dress shop for several friends weddings, and they were excellent for mine as well. I found a dress on that rack that was "last season" so I got huge discounts for last seasons and buying directly off the rack. What a price savings! We got beautiful bridesmaid dresses there too, also at a good price; they had a large selection. Only bummer is they don't do alterations on site, so we had to find our own alterations elsewhere, it would have been more convenient to do them there. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I totally recomend this place!

I bought my veil here. I loved my veil. It took a long time to get though!

They were great while you were there. However getting answers over the phone was another story.

The ladies in this shop are attentive & enjoyable to work with. My entire party (men, women & children) looked fantastic in what we found there.

I got my bridesmaid and flower girl dresses here. I went with some of my bridesmaids once, found the dress from a magazine in the store. I made an appt. to bring all my girls back and they took us in a timely manner. The only problem was the the flower girl dress did not have a part of the dress I asked for. It had to be sent back and fixed. They did this without a problem and at no cost to me. Everyone was friendly, unlike Trudy's bridal. I also found my purse there.

This was a nice store, first and only one I actually went to because I found my dress on the first trip! There were 3 that were beautiful and I had to choose from between them. The dress I chose was being discontinued so the floor model was my only choice, I have no experience with them ordering a dress size for me and return visits!

This is a great place to shop for wedding gowns at an affordable price. They have a great selection and have people to meet one on one with you as you browse and try on dresses.

Elegant Lace was the first and only bridal shop that I went to. They had a big selection of dresses and were easy to work with. I went on a weekday evening and virtually had the whole place to myself. I tried on about 15 dresses and found the one. I worked with Synthia and she was great. She is the manager there. I bought my dress, veil, tiara, and crinoline from them. One MAJOR thing that I was frustrated with was that they didn't have all the sizes of crinolines available to try on. As a result, they sold me a crinoline that wasn't the right length. I'm 5'10 and they sold me a tea length crinoline which didn't make much sense. When I called about it, they didn't really have a clue but by that point I just wanted things right (my seamstressed sewed one into the dress for me). I also bought my bridesmaid dresses and my moms dress there. We were able to get additional discounts on them as I had bought my stuff there. Overall it was a good experience just probably not great. They had really bad lighting which is really dull and not the most flattering.

I had a so so experience with this place. Lots has to do with the fact that I went in on a weekend so I can understand that they were busy. Overall I felt I did not get enough help with the dresses and they also did not carry many of the gowns I had researched.

I worked with Wafaa at Elegant Lace. She was great! Everyone in this store is super-friendly and very helpful, totally different than the snobbish attitude I got at Trudy's (where they would not even let me browse through the dresses and had a 3 dresses max you can try on and you need an appointment). At Elegant Lace, you can just show up and they let your browse for hours. I ended up trying on 4 dresses and one of them was the one I bought. It arrived in 3 or 4 months, I don't remember exactly. They offer free pressing of the dress you buy, so I brought back my dress a week before the wedding and they pressed it. There was also a stain on the dress probably from the many times I tried it on and they removed it for me.

If you go here, ask for Vonia. She rocks! She will really take care of you. In general, I loved this store and the way they treated me. I felt like a princess! My sisters and mom came with me and they got the royal treatment as well =).

Just seeing the name of this store makes me shudder. I had a horrible experience with both the manager and owner, Mickey and Laura, and I would highly recommend staying as far away from this place as possible. The sales consultants are definitely sweet, but in the event that you have to deal with a manager, for something like a price adjustment or receiving the wrong order, you will definitely regret stepping inside the store.
The store also does things like using their own style number of dresses and veils, so that even after you buy your gown and veil, you still have to research the actual manufacturer's style number on your own (if you want to look for online photos, etc.). Their prices are also marked up by $100 or more than other nearby vendors.
If you want to see a large selection of gowns, they have it, and if you also want to be treated like cattle and want to be shown absolutely no respect or courteousness, this is the place to shop.

A
I have nothing bad to say, they were absolutely wonderful when I was there looking and when I found the one they were just as excited as me. I worked with Mary, she was so great to work with. I would recommend them to anyone out there dress shopping!

The sales person that assisted me was very helpful. After trying on many dresses and almost giving up, she brought me a dress based on what she thought I would like...and it was perfect!!! It was better than any I had chosen to try on. I loved it and chose it for my dress. Their seamstress there also helped alot and customized my straps for me. I never went to any other bridal store. I got lucky with Elegant Lace Bridal.

They arrived in a matter of days. There was a problemwith 20 invitations; they were printed on the wrong side. It was not a problem with Elegant Lace, but theprinting company and we got the correct invitations only days after the mistake was made.

I had the best experience at Elegant Lace Bridal. Leila was great, as well as others, who would assist me on the phone if she wasn't in. My Bridesmaids knew exactly what I was looking for so we went through the dresses and picked some the rack for me to try on. As I tried each dress on, Leila listened to my bridesmaids and I about the details we liked and wouldn't lie (like typical salespeople) and tell me everything looked good when we all clearly knew it didn't. My wedding gown came in months earlier than they had told me so that was good too.
Unfortunately, they didn't carry the brand of bridemaids dresses that my bridemaids wanted so we couldn't order them from Elegant Lace. I was, though, able to order my evening dress (Watters Wtoo Bridesmaid's Dress) from them at a discounted price since I ordered my wedding gown from them.

they kept pushing me to order one of their gowns, which I thought was only so so and they would not tell me the name of it

Was an excellent experience. They found the perfect dress for me, and it was the most reasonable price in the area. They allowed me to come back 3 times to show various family members and allowed me to take photos. Dress was amazing and they took care of my order. Was so great we got bridesmaids dresses there too!
