Elegant Repeats

What a huge disappointment! While the quality and cost of our tux rentals was satisfactory, the customer service was awful! We picked them up 3 days before the wedding and the groom’s jacket was much too large, the usher’s shoes were 2 sizes too big, the father of the bride’s pants were several inches too short, and the best man’s pants were too long. The best man told her that he wanted them shortened and she said “the suspenders will pull them up and they’ll be fine”. He wore his suspenders all night and still ended up walking on the cuffs. She told him that he had to pay $60 for ruining the pants and accused him of taking his suspenders off, which he didn’t. She was incredibly rude and refused to take responsibility for not shortening the pants when asked to. She just wanted to blame him for not wearing the pants “the way that he was told to”…I don’t remember seeing her at the reception so I can’t imagine how she can insist he wasn’t wearing the suspenders when he WAS. We felt like she purposefully sabotaged us.

I’m sure she will post a response accusing me of telling lies and being a friend of Penelope, but consider all the negative comments about this store and you’ll realize that we can’t all be wrong. I’ve talked to many people about this and no one has had such a bad experience. Do yourself a favor: go somewhere else and pay a little more for GOOD customer service.

At first I was very impressed with their level of service, etc....but that was the day I tried on and bought my dress. I did get a good price for it (I bought new, not used or off rack). However, following that day, they were not all that helpful, nor did they seem to be "on top of things"...I didn't really trust them with anything so kept calling to make sure everything was going as planned. Their quality of service isn't consistent; some days they're great, while others they were completely subpar or annoying. They didn't seem to be highly organized by any means.

They were always available and they have the least expensive tux's we could find in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City! They were very helpful, kind and curtious. We really enjoyed our experience there!

I have never, in my life, experienced a better tux experience. I was really nervous about this part of the wedding, because we decided
to get our tuxes in Iowa, take them to Chicago, and return them. YIKES, right? Elegant Repeats was AMAZING.
They worked really hard to get us the tux we wanted, and even got them in OVER A WEEK EARLY! Everyone's tux fit great!
They took special care in measuring and made sure that the guys tried on sample sizes to ensure a proper fit. I really can't say enough!
