Elite Entertainment

We used Elite in Eatonontown NJ. Phil Walsh was our DJ. He did an incredible job of keeping the party going! He totally understood the vibe we were going for and far surpassed our expectations! Everyone was asking us who he was and where we'd found him all through out the night! Your entertainment is the most important element to the wedding atmosphere and I'm thankful we booked Phil from Elite!!!

Chris was such a great DJ! He had the dance floor packed all afternoon. He is very enthusiastic about his job. We liked that he wasn’t cheesy. He played a great mix of songs, plus all that we requested! We added a photo montage close to the wedding, he made sure it was all set up and it went smoothly.

My family had hired Elite Entertainment in the past and were always happy with their services. Jay Thomson was recommended to us by our venue. From our first meeting, we were comfortable with Jay and became excited to work with him. He had a vast knowledge of all types of music and a lot of great suggestions for our reception. Jay accommodated all of our requests and played all of the songs that we had on our list. He was professional and courteous with us and with our guests. He kept everyone entertained and on the dance floor. Jay was one of the primary reasons that our wedding reception was a success.

I used Corey Fox as my DJ, and he was awesome! I got so many compliments about how much fun he was. My friend who is getting married soon went and got his contact information. He was friendly and played everything we asked for. He also stayed away from things that we requested him to. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, I recommend Corey from Elite greatly!

We first saw Elite Entertainment at a bridal show and they were the only DJ that we met with when we were planning our wedding. At our first meeting, they showed us video's of several of their fantastic DJ's and we ended up choosing Tara Feely. Tara was perfect for our wedding and our crowd. She played all of our requests (and didn't play any of our do not play!), she had guests of all ages up on the floor dancing all night, and even sang a few songs. So many of our guests commented on her beautiful voice and felt that she added alot of the reception! I highly recommend Elite Entertainment (and Tara Feely!) for any wedding or special event!

Great DJ! He really made sure the guests were having a good time and kept the party going for many hours. If guests weren't dancing to a particular song he quickly and seamlessly changed it. Many guests commented on how much fun they had and how many people were dancing.

We used Ken Varga and he was fantastic. Great energy each time we spoke or met with him. Had me on the phone for 2 hours going over all the music. Very insightful, very helpful, absolute joy! He kept our party going all night.

My cousin had this company DJ her wedding reception and they were awesome, so when my place suggested them for our wedding I had to ask my cousin the name of her DJ cause I knew I had to have him for my Wedding, so when called the company and told them the name of the dj Iwanted he called me right backed and booked me right in.

The DJ hired for my daughter's very recent wedding, 7/25/09 was a disaster. Except for announcing the entrance of the bridal party, he offered nothing to enhance the atmosphere. In fact, he had a negative affect on the atmosphere of the wedding. I was very sad for my daughter on her special day. They had an equipment failure at the start of the video montage, so rather than offer some verbal explanation and put on some killer music, just about a half an hour went by in total silence until another daughter had to get up and ask the DJ to put on some music or something!!! My daughter, the bride, was in tears at this point. For the rest of the night the DJ hid behind the equipment table, said and did nothing but spin songs. None of the special songs chosen for couples (and the older generation) to dance to were played and a special song for the groom and his grandmother to dance to was played softly as dinner music and the groom and his grandmother didn't even realize it was played. This DJ was HORRIBLE to say the least. I believe his name was Tom. I will never recommend this company to anyone. I could have done a better job myself, with no experience. As far as I am concerned, Elite Entertainment owes my daughter and her husband a refund. I had to choose one star to post this review because NO stars was not an option.

I've been planning my wedding from across the country, so a lot of it has been done over the phone and email. The first and only DJ we talked with was Turner Hayes from Elite Entertainment and we were quite impressed. We talked with him over the phone. My fiance was unsure of why it would cost over a thousand dollars for a DJ, but he said after talking with him he was much more comfortable paying that much (which I assured him was a pretty average rate). The DJ explained everything he would do throughout the day and gave examples of how he might say various things (e.g. introductions, toasts, telling guests whether or not they can take home centerpieces, etc.) He had a sense of humor, which I think is what won my fiance over. But at the same time he was quite professional. He was comprehensive in the questions he asked about what kind of music we do and do not want and gave us many things to think about. He also responded promptly to my emails, which may be a small factor, but is always appreciated. We had another DJ we were planning on calling afterward, but decided to just go ahead with Elite Entertainment.

Elite Entertainment is an awesome DJ company. They have so many DJ's to choose from, can easily adapt to your taste and style in music!
