Rev. McGlinn could not have been any more perfect for us!!!! We met with her a few months before our wedding date and knew instantly that she was perfect for us! She is genuinely a WONDERFUL person - her ABCs of Love workbook helped us to design our wedding EXACTLY the way we wanted it - she has a lot of experience and it shows! She was very professional and super flexible! We were so caught up with planning and perfecting our wedding day that we forgot to get our marriage license! We were mortified when we found out, but thanks to Elizabeth we were quickly at relieved and shared a chuckle and found out we were still able to get "married" on our wedding day, and she helped us to easily arrange a time to come back and officially get married (with the license lol). She was full of smiles and you could tell she genuinely loves what she does - we couldn't even IMAGINE a better officiant for our special day. I'd HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a genuinely wonderful and special person to share such a special day with. Rev. McGlinn is wonderful! From the moment we spoke with her on the phone we knew she would be perfect! She was a pleasure to work with and made planning a wedding out of state so easy. When we finally got to meet her in person a few weeks before the wedding we felt like we had know her for years. We are still receiving compliments from guests on the ceremony and Rev. McGlinn. By using the ABC’s of Love workbook we were able to customize the ceremony and all of our guests could tell that all of the words spoken represented us as a couple. My husband and I enjoyed using the workbook and when we heard our words being read it made the moment even more special. Our guests could also tell that Rev. McGlinn takes pride in what she does as she was radiating throughout the entire ceremony and you could tell that she was just as happy for us as anyone of our family or friends.When I first got engaged a friend suggested I consider using Rev. McGlinn after seeing her perform another wedding. I am so happy I took this advice because I couldn’t imagine having anyone else officiate our ceremony.

We were able to see Elizabeth in action at a friend's wedding. The ceremony was amazing and afterward we did a little research and asked her to be a part of our ceremony. My husband is from South Jersey so that is where the ceremony was, eventhough we live in New York City. Elizabeth was very accommodating with our schedule and was very responsive via e-mail when the situation called for it. When we did meet with her, she took time to answer all of our questions and walk us through what we needed to do. The booklet she provides room to make the ceremony your own, and if you aren't writing your own vows the passages are also great. After our ceremony we refered her to a couple of friends who are going through the process now. We definately recommend Elizabeth to anyone.KM & MM.

Elizabeth was a great help from when we first walked through the doors to see an unfinished area to performing our ceremony. She gave great instructions on chosing passages for our ceremony and the process of getting our marriage license. She was just really wonderful to work with. Always answered my questions promptly, many times twice.

Elizabeth was very professional from start to finish. Her wedding workbook was very helpful in allowing us to create our own, unique ceremony. We really felt as though our ceremony fit us and allowed our guests to share in our love for one another. Our guests were absolutely touched by the occassion. I would highly recommend Elizabeth to any couple. We wanted a non-religious ceremony and she executed it flawlessly but she is also capable of doing religious ceremonies as well. Our experience with Elizabeth was wonderful. We didn't find an officiant until 4 weeks before our wedding and luckily she was available. She wasn't stressed out about having the material so soon before the wedding, which was a relief. She gave us a wonderful selection of readings/parts for the ceremony and we were able to create exactly what we wanted. I thought we would have to spend a lot of writing things and looking on the Internet for things in order to tailor our ceremony, but her selection gave us plenty to look at and we were pleasantly surprised to find pieces that exactly worked for us. She showed up at the ceremony as a figure of complete calm which put us at ease. She guided us in ensuring it went smoothly, reminding my dad to shake the groom's hand, etc. She was great and we are so thankful. A true professional. thank you elizabeth!

To say we were pleased with Elizabeth is an understatement. From the 1st phone call to our personalized wedding ceremony, our dealings with Elizabeth were a complete joy. My husband and I are of different faiths and Elizabeth collaborated with us to make our ceremony meaningful to us and to our families. The warmth and sincerity that she generates as a person came through during the ceremony she performed for us. So many people commented to us that this was the best wedding they had ever been to. We know Elizabeth was a big part of that.

I can't even count the number of compliments we received about the ceremony during and after our wedding- a month later, people are still mentioning how lovely it was!Though Rev. McGlinn made herself readily available before the wedding, we were unable to meet with her due to our own conflicting schedules. Rev. McGlinn was totally understanding and made it easy for us to complete our entire ceremony through email and phone conversations, on our own time. We were worried that it would be difficult to combine our different religious backgrounds into a unified ceremony that wouldn't offend anyone, but there were plenty of wording choices that were free of any religious undertones at all. It was a completely hassle- and stress-free process.It wasn't until I was walking down the isle that I first laid eyes on Rev. McGlinn, but I felt like I had known her for years. Her presence is warm and caring, and you can feel that she really loves what she does! What a completely wonderful experience!

Reverend Elizabeth McGlinn was the most amazing person I have met! I originally had booked One Atlantic Club at the Pier at Caesars in Atlantic City for our ceremony only to find a few months prior it would not be ready. She did everything she could to find us the perfect place along with recommending a videographer, photographer and florist. She responded to every email and phone call right away and I was not the easiest person to deal with especially under the circumstances. She took an enormous amount of time and energy to make our day special, always having a smile! I could go on and on with everything she did, she most certainly bent over backwards for us listening, giving advice, as well as performing the ceremony itself. Anyone who decides to give her a call will be more than satisfied, she is truly one of a kind!

Elizabeth was wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone! She really will help you to design the ceremony that you and your husband want and provides a sense of calm throughout the whole process! Many of our wedding guests told me how much they enjoyed her during the ceremony and complimented the words we chose to use. She is just very likeable and puts others around her at ease! We booked our wedding night three weeks before Christmas with Elizabeth. It was Christmas night so we couldn't believe she said "yes" for this last minute date. The time we wanted was already taken so she offered a later time or her husband Scott (also a officant). We decided to go with Scott. He is also wonderful. They are a fantastic team. I felt like I have known both of them my whole life. I come from a catholic background and my husband has no religion in his life at all. They custom made our ceremony to suit both of us. It was amazing. They make your wedding day a no brainer. They are extreamly organized and will hold your hand from beginning to end. I loved the fact that I could keep in touch with Elizabeth online all the time. My wedding was perfect thanks to them. We were married at the Borgata hotel in the Piato suite with Atlanic City as our backdrop. Scott arrived on time and called when he got to the elevator. My husband when down to meet him while I finished getting dressed. Scott waited a good 30 minutes while I got dress. He blended in with my guests and you would think he was a friend for years! When I meet him I was nervous and he put me at ease right away. Great ceremony! I still keep in touch with them because they meant that much to us!!

I cannot express enough, the pleasure it was working with Weddings By Divine Design and the Rev. McGlinn. Our civil union was an out of state event and we had no idea where to start. Our wedding planner recommended Rev. McGlinn and as a Metaphyscian, I know there are NO coincidences in life. Elizabeth has the most amazing peacefullness about her. My husband and I chose our vows from her work book, we were able to create our own personalized ceremony and had a wonderful experience and learned alot about eachother in the process. We had a ceremony that was intimite and personal and was everything we ever could have wanted, we were given a copy of our vows in a book that we can look at whenever we want. I would reccomend her to any couple who is looking to get married.

Rev. McGlinn not only accommodated us with only about a 1 1/2 month notice on a HUGE wedding date (7/7/07), but was very professional, compassionate, sweet and non-judgemental on our religious beliefs. The ceremony was lovely. Her tone of voice was perfect and loving. We even ran late getting to our ceremony and she told us to take a breath and relax. It's okay. We'll get started whenever we're ready. Our short term relationship with her was as if we knew her for a long time. She was so personable. We can't say enough about her. We would highly recommend Rev. McGlinn for anyone's wedding or other ceremony.

Rev. McGlinn was my officiant for my 07/07/2007 wedding. She also helped very much with planning our wedding since it was out of state. She recommended services that were all great and she kept in touch and checked in to see how everything was going. She was always willing to meet with when we were in town. As our officiant she was wonderful. She made our ceremony very special and memorable. We were able to choose the wording for the entire ceremony. Whatever we wanted she made it happen!! From my first phone call right up to our Ceremony Rev. Elizabeth was just great!!! We so enjoyed the process of creating our own vows. Our first meeting with Rev. Elizabeth was just enjoyable and when she said we could, with the help of a booklet, design our vows we weren't sure if we cold do it. As Rev. Elizabeth said we could learn more about each other or find out why we cared about each other and how we got to where we were at that point in our relationship.... and we did!! When we received an e-mail with the vows that we had picked it brought both of us to tears, it was so us. We even asked to have things changed and Rev. Elizabeth gracefully made the changes for us. Our wedding took place at the Long Beach Island Museum in Beach Haven, NJ. We found our officiant, Rev. Elizabeth McGlinn, through weddingwire.com. and we couldnt have made a better choice! She was prompt in responding to our email, and answered all our questions clearly. A huge bonus is the fact that she has a booklet that allows you to pick whatever passages you want to create your own ceremony. It made everything so simple! She was very professional and arrived well before the ceremony to help organize the wedding party! She was a superb officiant!

Elizabeth was wonderful and very open to the type of ceremony WE wanted. We created our own ceremony with the help of suggested readings and structure. My only complaint is that we were introduced for the first time with the wrong last name.

We were really looking forward to having Elizabeth be apart of our ceremony. Due to unfortunate circumstances, this was not possible and we agreed to have Scott perform the entire cermony in her absence. While we had the most beautiful/perfect day, were were dissappointed with parts of the ceremony. Mainly, it was evident that Scott had not prepared by reading the cermony we crafted beforehand and he also appeared dis-engaged. In addition, he got lost and had to find his place at least 2 times during the ceremony. Many guests also said they could not hear the cermony, which is largely attributed to the ocean and wind, but I feel Scott could have spoken louder. It is unfortunate that I have to give this feedback, but since we had this experience, I'd rather let you know than keep it to ourselves.
