I bought my dress at Elizabeth's bridal. The women that worked there were great..they don't rush you at all and really listen to you. The found me a beautiful dress..exactly what I was looking for. Very cute salon too.

Warning: Be fully aware of the size of dress they are ordering for you. Elizabeth says that they don't order too large for you but she did. Then wanted $500.00 extra in alterations to take it in. Plus we intialed (unknowingly) saying that there are no refunds, exchanges or returns because of the fit. Such a bad policy for ladies who have never bought a wedding dress before.

I love my dress I got from Elizabeth's! It was gorgeous and fairly reasonable (for a wedding dress). I also found a great veil there as well.

The shop is very charming and everyone there is so friendly. I visited some other wedding dress stores that were very snobby and off-putting. Elizabeth's is definitely not one of those!

There are a lot of negative reviews about cost of alterations, but I found them to be very fair. I needed over a full size taken in, and they did a fantastic job. The dress was lace so it definitely complicated matters but you couldn't tell at all. They also altered my bustier so that it fit under the dress perfect. The price you pay for alterations is a one time fee. I had to get 2 rounds of alterations done and they did not charge me anything additional for the second one. The women in charge of their alterations is very talented.

Definitely recommend Elizabeth's!

I loved this place!!!!!! Teresa found my dress for me. After I told her a few ideas I had she looked at my body type and discretely asked my budget. She found me my dream dress! I felt like a princess. They were so accommodating to me and my girls. One of my bridesmaid dress was sent and the manufacture had made a mistake. Elizabeth personally handled the situation and the the dress was fixed and sent immediately. I didn't even have to worry about anything. I would sternly recommend this place and if you can ask for Teresa, she is such a delight!

I received the best treatment from this shop. Made me feel like I was the only one they were helping. My dress was beautiful and the ladies were so nice. I love this place.

I definitely enjoyed working with Elizabeth's Bridal Manor. It is a cute little cozy house in northville with dresses in every price range. I came 3x before I chose my dress and I am very happy with my experience there.

I chose my dress, waited a few months for it to come in, came for a first fitting/alterations, and then had my second fitting after alterations and then picked up the dress the day of my wedding! Alterations were exactly what I wanted and they helped me work with the wedding dress company to make additional alterations I wanted as well. Elizabeths Bridal Manor has beautiful gowns and they're very helpful in selecting a gown. The shop is very unique and they truly got us into the excitement of shopping for the perfect gown.

Expensive dresses here, but you can find a good deal if you look. I got my dress for a very reasonable price and the service couldn't be beat. Great people, excellent altering service, and the dress was absolutely beautiful. I got a ton of compliments on it!

Elizabeth has a great team and worked with us through ups and downs in all of our dresses and out of state bridesmaids. They were very patient and understanding to not only our complications but also our screaming baby. They even calmed me down when I started to get frustrated.

Despite some negative feedback from friends, I had an amazing experience with Elizabeth's. If you make an appointment with them, they will treat you like the Queen :) ..if not, they don't.

Liz was such a great joy to work with. She was so sweet and patient. They are very professional there. The bridal manor within itself is beautiful and definitely a reflection of her and her hard work and great style. When my MIL's dress didn't come in when it was suppose to she offered us options and apologized although it was not their fault. It may have been late but the dress was right on time, she keep in contact with the company (and so did I) until the dress arrived just in time to get alterations completed the week of the wedding !

Purchasing my gown from Elizabeth's bridal was a pleasure. They sat down and consulted with me before selecting gowns that were absolutely to my taste. They provided all alteration and storage services on site and were very flexible with my fitting schedule as I had to come in from DC to try it on.

I loved the dress selection at Elizabeth's, and the dresses were not badly priced. The accessories are where they really make you pay a ton for not so much, and the alterations were also very expensive. All in all, my dress, veil, and shoes were perfect, but it wasn't inexpensive!

I loved my dress, but I did not love the price of the alterations. I was quoted $300, but charged $425. Quite a difference. Nothing I said could get them to lower the price, and I was forced to pay it. Also, they will push you to try on very expensive dresses. I stated what my budget was (around $1,500) and they brought out dresses that were $3,500+ up for me to try on. I explained again what my price range was. If I knew how much the alterations would really cost me, I probably would've looked for a less expensive gown. Beware!

I absolutely love Elizabeth's staff! They are extremely helpful and knowledgable. My wedding dress was the second one I tried on, and it was just out of this world! So much better than 20 dresses that I had tried on at other chain wedding dress stores! And I was pleasantly surprised that it was actually about half the price I was expecting for such an outstanding dress.

I am so glad I was able to find my dress here. It was so nice to be able to support a local bridal shop, rather than a big, national chain, especially in these economic times. I did not have any problems here whatsoever. My dress came in ahead of schedule. The alterations were a bit expensive, but it was around what I expected without shopping around to find another place to do it. I paid exactly what we were quoted on the alterations as well. My dress turned out perfectly for my wedding day and I felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life. I would recommend them for their service, quality work (for alterations), and dress selection.

I have known of this shop since I was a kid having bought my prom dress there. So I knew I wanted to go there for my wedding dress. The staff is wonderful and Liz is a doll. They really take good care of you. The only drawback was I found my dress at another shop $100 less. No biggie.

There are a few girls (Susie and Narmeen) at this ship who are AMAZING, and real. My word of warning is to not make any assumptions, make sure everything is in writing, and when talking to the shop owner be sure that other employees are present and everyone is in agreement. My dress turned out great- but not until after a lot of heartache.

Great selection and knowledgeable staff. However, fittings were cramped and the seamstress would work on four girls at one time. Also, alterations were a lot more money than was quoted. But, the seamstress does amazing work!

i love elizabeth herself, so it pains me to write this review. i must be honest, though, and admit they tried to charge me way more than they initially quoted me when it came to alterations. they also told me my dress wouldn't be in for weeks, but then when it came in early and i was out of town, they charged me a storage fee. stuff like that. it all just left a really bad taste in my mouth and i can't recommend them.

I found the most beautiful wedding dress at Elizabeth's- fit perfectly and was a dream.. except that it was $5000 over my budget! They should've never showed it to me and let me try it on b.c I fell in love. Luckily the floor sample was my size and they let me buy that sample for a significant discount--- which I recommend doing! The alterations were VERY expensive though-- might recommend just going somewhere else for that... as well as the hair piece and veil!

I love love love my dress. I got a great deal also. Everyone was very nice.

I LOVED my wedding dress but I think that the gowns are overpriced. Alterations were also very expensive as Elizabeth's earns a large cut of the alteration profits. Alterations cost over $300 (double what is should have been if I didn't go through Elizabeth's).

There was one staff person who was friendly however the rest of the staff was not professional and were not helpful.

Elizabeth's is a charming little shop and makes you feel soo comfortable. The quality of the dresses are amazing and you are guaranteed to find an amazing dress at this shop.

You will feel so special the second you walk through their door. I love their adorable shop, it is not like any other bridal shop you will go to. Appointments are recommended, and it worth it. They treat you so good, everyone was very friendly to work with and so helpful. They have great selection of bridal dresses, brides maids, flower girl, and mother dresses, too.

I know I'm from Lansing but I did not like any of the stores located here. I loved everything about Elizabeth's Bridal Manor. The women who work there took so much time with me and made me feel so special. They know exactly what looks good on a woman's body, yet they still listen to the bride. Prices are reasonable for the vast variety of designer gowns they carry. Fittings were easy. I was never crowded or rushed. My favorite part was that it was so easy to look for gowns. They were out for display, not hidden in bags. Highly recommend to anyone in Michigan. Make sure to make an appointment. Closed on Tuesdays for fittings.

Ladies: when you buy your wedding dress keep 3 things in mind. 1) Make sure when you set the appointment up, go with someone. Your mother, a friend or someone you truly trust. 2) Look around at a few stores. Your dress isn't going anywhere.
3) Do NOT be afraid to bargain. Ask for what you want and see if they are flexible. If you don't ask you'll never know.

That being said, Elizabeth's Bridal Manor is QUITE charming. A little house in the town of Northville. It's a treat to visit. But, be aware that they are there to sell you ANYTHING! I got my dress, and was measured by the designer herself in the store. When I got my dress 2 months later, there were major measurement and design flaws that necessitated being sent back to the designer to be fixed. While it wasn't the stores fault, there was little that could be done to ensure that I was calm and OK with the situation. One doesn't necessarily need to be coddled, but a simple apology and SOMETHING would have meant the world.

Also, do not assume the store will sell you things in your best interest. I almost purchased a bra on the insistence of the owner, only to try it on with my dress and find it was COMPLETELY the wrong type of bra. Be wary!

Elizabeth's is SO wonderful, I could not recommend a better place to get my wedding dress!! The staff and owner are so great, courteous and friendly, and they have a great eye for what looks good on you!

I had the most awful experience with them. My dress came in 2 weeks before my wedding when I ordered it 10 months before my wedding. It came out that they gave MY dress to another bride and ordered hers for me. I was so pissed!! Then they forgot to order my veil and gave me someone elses. I would not recommend at all, they are nice until they get your money.

I purchased my dress here and was able to get a beautiful gown in my budget with only trying on 4 dresses! The dress came in with a broken zipper from the maker and they had it sent back and fixed within a week. They have a great selection of dresses and the seamstress is amazing! I had a complicated bustle and she came up with a few different ideas to make sure I was happy. I would highly recommend Elizabeth's. Myself, my sister, my sister in law, and many extended family members have all bought our dresses there for the past 15 years!

They were awesome. I came in with a budget in mind for myself and my bridesmaids, and the staff was very helpful in showing us what we wanted to see. Other boutiques tried to push really expensive dresses on me, or shapes that I just wasn't interested in, but at Elizabeth's they were all very helpful. My dress was perfect and well priced. It felt like I had a bunch of mom's (the good, nurturing kind... not the nagging kind!) to help me out and it really made the experience great.

I bought a gorgeous Lazaro gown from the vendor. They were a dream to work with (even seeing me through my anxious fretting about the fit of the dress). I gave a 3 for value, but that's not necessarily a reflection on the vendor. It was just an expensive gown.

A Elizabeth's was great with my dress. No problems here. But, with some of my girls' dresses they fit them too big. Each girl picked out their own dress and it just needed to be in the navy blue satin color that was chosen My dress was a J.Alexander and they worked with me because I liked the bodice of one and the skirt of another and they worked with me and made my dress perfectly. So happy.
A + Bella's Alterations was great. Great prices and friendly service. My bustle was difficult because of the tulle, but they spent a great deal of time on it and it was great. 39050 Schoolcraft Road Livonia, MI 48150 .

I ordered my dress in July. A full YEAR before the wedding. I called in December, they did not have the dress. I called in March they did not have my dress! Wedding was in June and I had to threaten them to order my dress! I called the manufacturer and they assured me that the shop had not ordered the dress yet...but they had just received an order from them with a rush on it. I received my dress in April because of this "rush". They credited me $100 of my money. 10% roughly of the dress. I would NOT recommend.

Bridal boutique was delightful! Vicki was a huge help, and so gracious.

Hmmm. Well, they were great about try-ons, ordering, explaining, and fitting. However, they will tell you just about anything to get your business. I ordered a decorative hair comb on which a removable veil was to be placed. when I picked up the veil, it was permanently attached to the comb so I couldn't remove it for the reception. They also said I had misunderstood their explanations---that comb & veil cost me $300. I really wanted the comb to be visible during the reception which it wasn't & they wouldn't refund my money when I said they didn't follow my instructions. I could have saved my self at least half the amount I paid out. I also agree that their alterations are more expensive than they should have been.

They met my needs for the wedding very well. I didn't do most of the planning, my wife did, but what I saw was professional and reliable. our wedding was beautiful, and i think they could do a good job for anyone.
