DELICIOUS! For every bride who has been killing herself with that prewedding diet you HAVE to book Ella Art for your cake. I hadn't had sweets for months and that cake was worth the wait! I had five different flavors making up my weddng cake (lemon pound with rasberry filling, almond pound, chocolate fudge, white sour cream and kentucky butter) and I literally had people sitting around a table passing the slices around raving about how good each flavor tasted. The cake looked BEAUTIFUL and Ella was able to do a grooms cake for me despite the fact that I asked just two weeks out from my date. They even came in on a day the shop is normally closed to meet with me on the grooms cake. The company has a commercial kitchen and is VERY clean (I had one cake tasting where the baker worked out of her home with cats everywhere!). Ella Art has the perfect combination of delicious taste and beautiful appearance. Book them!

Ella Knox did not actually make my wedding cake, but she did make my groom's cake and a birthday cake for my uncle, both of which were served at the wedding. Ella Art is a small bakery that pays extra attention to her customers. The groom's cake was my husband's bulldog, Dozer, on top of the University of Tennessee football field. Everyone at the wedding went crazy for the cake . . . it was not only awesome to look at, but it was delicious! The birthday cake for my uncle was a simple round cake with a swordfish coming out of the top of it. My uncle could not believe that a cake could look like that! It was extra yummy! I would suggest that anyone in the Charlotte, Fort Mill or Rock Hill area call Ella Art for the wedding cake or any other cake they may need!

Ella was a joy to work with. She provided my groom's cake and my wedding cake. Both cakes were absolutely fantastic and they looked great. She delivered the wedding cake right when she agreed and the set up was beautiful. I would definitely use her services again. I recommend her to every bride in the Fort Mill, SC/Charlotte, NC area.

My wedding cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. Ella helped us when our first bakery went out of business and closed with out giving us any notice. She fit us right in and I'm so glad because the cake was amazing. She even matched the logo I designed for our wedding and had it on the front of the cake. I would highly recommend Ella Art.
Ella Knox is an artist in addition to a talented baker. She has books of pictures you can browse or you can take her pictures of your ideas. She will help you incorporate your ideas and she has great suggestions. She offers a tasting session which really helps you decide what you want. I can tell you that the Kentucky Butter Cake is delicious and was enjoyed by our 250 guests. It was moist, easy to cut, beautifully decorated as planned, delivered on time, the presentation was impressive and she arranged the fresh flowers on it. Ella made the groom’s cake which was chocolate and delicious. She also offers sheet cakes made just like the wedding cake for additional servings which saves on the cost.
