After 4 years together my incredible boyfriend proposed to me. The minute I started planning our wedding I knew that one of the most important decisions would be choosing a photographer. I spoke and met with a few photographers and liked some stuff about all of them but felt a real connection when I met with Ellie. She was so sweet and truly interested in learning more about me and my fiance. We felt so at ease with her and really liked her photography style. Ellie did an amazing job on our wedding day even making my flower girl stop crying when no one else could :) I will forever remember how beautifully she captured our wedding day.

Ellie was my photographer on my wedding day and her pictures were amazing. Ellie has a great personality and was able to put everyone at ease with her relaxed and friendly approach. We were able to keep in touch in the months leading up to my wedding day and Ellie seemed to know exactly what we wanted and identified perfect spots for our portrait shots. During the whole time Ellie was professional and was more like a guest taking pictures. She stayed until the evening and captured the first dance and the children dancing and people enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Ellie she is one of the most creative people i have ever met. Thank you for everything. :-)

We had the pleasure of working with Ellie for both our engagement and wedding day photography. She was beyond professional and throughout the process was helpful with any questions we had. Our engagement pictures were gorgeous and showcased our style and personality. Our wedding pictures were beyond anything we could have expected. FAQ for Ellie Marks photography
What inspires you as a photographer? With wedding photography I am truly inspired by the couples I meet. I love to see how a couple interacts with one another during a meeting with me or during an engagement session. My goal and love as a wedding photographer is to bring out the true personalities of the couple and capture their love in a timeless and unique way that refelct them as the beautiful couple they are. That is why some of my weddings have a vintage feel, some are uber modern, some are classic, some are rustic and some are just plain chic. I aim for my photography to reflect the couple not me. My photography is just a tool to showcase who they are in photographs for a lifetime.
Do you ever book two weddings on the same day? No, we only book one wedding per day and plan our day around the wedding in order to insure that you are the top priority for us that day.
What kind of equipment do you use? We use top of the line Canon equipment which include the 5D mark II camera, 580 speedlights for on camera flash and premium lenses. Ellie Marks shoots digital images but offers a film option for those intrested.
How long will it take for us to receive our images? It typically takes 4-6 weeks in winter months and 6-8 weeks in summer months for me to process and complete the editing of the photos. At that time I will provide you with a password for a private online gallery where you can view, share and order photos. Please keep in mind that all of our packages also include high resolution CD's so that you can share and print your photos as you wish.
Do you travel? Yes, I love to travel for weddings and in general. I have shot several destination weddings and even one in England. Travel fees varie by location, please contact us with any inquires as we would love to travel for your wedding.
Do you offer a payment plan? A 25% retainer is due at the time of booking in order to reserve your date. The remaining 75% is due one month before the wedding date. You will pay that remainder monthly if you choose, as long as the full amount of the package is paind one month prior to the wedding.
What is your attire on the wedding day? We dress in a professional yet comfratable way on the wedding day.
My package does not include an engagement session but I would like one, how much will that cost? An engagement session is $400 and includes a high resolution CD of at least 30 retouched images. You will also have access to an online gallery where you can share the photos with firend and order prints through me.
