I could not have been more satisfied with Emily J and her beauty crew! They were all punctual, extremely talented, unique and responsive to me and my bridal parties wishes/desires for their wedding day looks. Emily styled both my hair and make up and I loved it! Far surpassed my expectations. She listened to what I wanted and gave me the classic, simple, natural look I was going for! I've been in several weddings as a bridesmaid and I've always asked for a simple look and I've always been disappointed. Emily J. and her stylist listen to all of us and we all were incredibly satisfied with our desired looks for the day.

Jessica and Amanda = the best!! Emily J. was one of the best vendors we used! They came to our hotel and we had a fabulous girls morning of getting ready. I live in a different state so had very limited visits prior to our wedding but they made time for a trial around my schedule. Such a fabulous business, I truly can\'t say enough. We all looked stunning -- not overly done up and unrecognizable like some companies do just our beauty amplified! Love them!!

Emily J. and her entire team/service was hands down one of the best decisions I made during my wedding. Emily and the artists who work with her are professional (on-time, polite and responsive), talented (I hired her for both my rehearsal and my wedding, for two completely different looks and I loved each, and each of my eight bridesmaids were thrilled) and made the day run as smooth as possible. Emily listened and helped me articulate my requests for my look, and patiently addressed any concerns I had - I am picky about having my makeup done, but she put me completely at ease. My bridesmaids asked for her contact information for their future reference, as well. Most importantly, though, Emily made me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day - I would recommend her and her team to any bride, and will use their service for any event that I need hair/makeup for in the future!

My bridesmaids and I have never looked or felt more beautiful than we did after Emily J did our hair and make-up! Emily and her associate were amazing with their craft as well as managing our nerves. They were calm, cheerful, and organized. Emily J and her associate communicated my desires for the look and feel for the day to my bridesmaids when there were questions. They were especially helpful with glamorizing my maid of honor who does not wear any make-up and helping her feel beautiful bit not over done, and toning down a bridesmaid who wears a lot of make-up. Everyone looked beautiful and their individual assets we accentuated.

Emily is the best! When my regular salon was booked on my wedding day, I was desperately searching for someone to help with my hair and makeup as well as to take care of my bridal party. She not only was extremely flexible (she came to where we were!), but she is unbelievably talented - prom hair was nowhere to be found! Emily and her assistant made our morning fun and care-free. Absolutely priceless. Thank you Emily!!!

Emily was fabulous! I learned about her through my wonderful hairstylist Lezlie who is a long time friend of Emily's and sometimes works with her on weddings. I got married in Stillwater so it was a long trip from North Minneapolis to the little cabin in Stillwater where me and my 5 best friends and my mother anxiously awaited Emily, Lezlie, and Mary's (a fabulous make-up artist who also works with Emily) arrival. The three of them arrived early and proceeded to take over our little cabin, trying to find the best light for hair and make-up on a rainy morning in an dim cabin!
My wedding day was rainy and humid to start and then extremely windy and then perfect...my hair (done by Lezlie) and make-up (done by Emily) stayed impeccable straight through all of the weather, hugs, and dancing. I have to say that these ladies transformed me! I felt so beautiful and natural, exactly as I wanted.
In addition to the wonderful service we received on my wedding day, both Lezlie and Emily were really flexible in setting up hair and make-up trials beforehand. Emily was extremely professional. As soon as I knew how many ladies we'd have for hair and make-up she sent me a detailed schedule which she was flexible with once she arrived on the morning of our wedding. She also called serveral times just to touch base which was very reassuring.
It was so nice to have Emily J come to us and not have to get up and rush off to a salon. I would highly reccomend her services!

I cannot explain or tell enough people how amazingly beautiful I felt after having the emily j. girls do my hair and makeup. They are young, fresh artists who get it. I brought a photo and they took exactly what I wanted from the photo but made it work on me. It worked out perfectly for my wedding day. PLUS, they come to your house!! Perfect. All the way around.

Emily J. (with whom I communicated for planning purposes) was great. She helped rearrange my trial due to a family conflict, was up-front about pricing, and was always prompt in replying to questions. The stylist who did my wedding, Jessica, did beautiful work. I got a lot of compliments and felt beautiful. I would highly recommend the company and especially Jessica.
