The cake was EXCELLENT! I had a lot of people telling me how good it was. There were tons of flavors to work with and most of all - Gretchen was awesome to work with! Very accommodating, she had great ideas and was very professional - I would highly recommend her!

Absolutely delicious cake. Tastes homemade because it is, not an overly processed bakery cake. Creative flavors. Gretchen was absolutely wonderful to work with. Well worth the cost and then some.

From the initial consultation to the final delivery of the cake working with Gretchen was a true pleasure and very easy. Gretchen is warm and welcoming, she makes a lot of creative suggestions while still allowing the bride and groom to make each cake their own. Gretchen with Enchanted Wedding Cakes created an absolute dream of a cake for our wedding. When we met with Gretchen for our first consultation, we had some visions of what we wanted our cake to look and taste like. Gretchen immediately adapted to our desires. We were hoping to use a different kind of topping on our cake, and even though she hadn't worked with that specific topping before, she did extensive research and went to many great lengths to see that the cake would be executed perfectly. And it was! It was beautiful, elegant, and was in total sync with the feel of our wedding.
And most importantly - the cake was DELICIOUS! Addicting, to be exact. We chose two different cake-filling flavor combinations, and both were out of the this world.
I could not imagine having any one else bake our wedding cake!

It has taken us a few months to write a review because of our busy work schedules, but we felt that this was the least we could do to show her our appreciation. We got married on March 26, 2011 and had the pleasure of working with Gretchen to create our wedding cake. She always responded very quickly and she was very sweet to work with. Her cakes are so light and moist--exactly what a cake should be. We chose the mango and orange blossom cake and everyone raved about it. She is such a perfectionist and it showed in the quality of her work. Her sugar flower work is just beautiful. We still have our peony flowers displayed and it still looks just as good as on our wedding day. Thank you, Gretchen.

Gretchen is a delight to work with. She is highly organized, thorough, a complete artist and her kitchen is SPOTLESS. She has a number of cakes on display so you can understand height, design, color, and composition. In my case I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for and I can honestly say that when I walked into the reception and saw the cake it took my breath away!

I also greatly appreciate the fact that the cake tasted absolutely delicious. My husband loves cake and he is still talking about it as are my guests. How many weddings do you go to where the cake is beautiful but not very tasty? It won't happen with Gretchen.

Gretchen Ellison, from Enchanted Wedding Cakes, is wonderful and her cakes are gorgeous AND delicious!! Gretchen welcomed us into her home, where she bakes and designs all her cakes. She was unbelievably welcoming and incredibly kind. She worked with us to understand exactly what we wanted our cake to look like, she showed us many sample designs (photographs and models). She baked, specifically for us, a few of her flavors to allow us to decide what flavors to include in our cake.
The cake came out beautifully! Her hard work and attention to detail really showed in the sugar flowers, which she perfectly matched to the flowers present at the wedding reception. Each flavor we included was delicious!
Gretchen added a very special touch by sending us a congratulations letter with a photograph of our cake. Very nice! She also sends the bride and groom a top layer of a cake as a 1 year anniversary gift!

We have been married almost a month and we still have wedding guests calling to tell us how wonderful our cake looked and tasted. Enchanted Cakes was truly amazing. Gretchen was so professional, sweet and wonderful to work with. She has so many different options to choose from. Our cake was truly unique and amazing. Guests are still calling to say how mytasty and beautiful our wedding cake was! Gretchen's baking and decorating ability is exquisite and we were grateful that there was some cake left over so that we could enjoy it for 2 days following our reception. She created lilly of the valley sugar paste flowers that looked truly lifelike and was able to incorporate the cake topper used in my parent's wedding cake from 1944, even though a custom sugar base had to be created. We can't wait for our 1st anniversary cake from Gretchen!

I found the wedding cake of my dreams on Gretchen's website. AFter seeing it I knew that no other cake would do. Gretchen is the most amazing person you will ever work with! She had a big task ahead of her with a bride and a groom who hate sweets in general and a guest list with never-ending allergies. She took obsessive amounts of notes in order to make sure everything was 100% perfect and was the queen of calling and emailing whenever she had an idea to make the cake even more gorgeous and delicious. Also, she gives a discount if your cake is over $800 and you received a referral card from your vendor. You will not be disappointed if you choose Enchanted Wedding Cakes!

These wedding cakes are to die for. Most wedding cakes are dry and are really only at the wedding for looks or tradition, but not this cake. You will be extremely satisfied with this. My wedding cake was not only the most beautiful cake that I have ever seen, it was the best tasting cake I have ever tasted. To this day, 3 years after our wedding, my husband and I drool over the thought of it. Also, in the price of the cake, you receive a free anniversary cake. No need to worry about freezing the top of your cake, which freezes beautifully by the way, you will get a brand new fresh one a year later. My only wish is I could get one every year for the rest of my life (If not more)! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And, Gretchen is the nicest woman you will ever meet. Extremely willing to work with you! Go for a cake testing today! You won't regret it! My husband and I may get remarried just for the cake! Ha Ha Ha!

Owner Gretchen Ellison is one of the most professional vendors with whom I worked. She is extremely responsive which I highly appreciated. She takes great pride in her work and has numerous ideas to help the bride who is unsure of what she wants. She coordinated with my florist and venue regarding delivery and flower arrangements on the cake so I didn't have to. The end product is beautiful and delicious. I loved everything about our experience with Gretchen at Enchanted Wedding Cakes. From the tasting (it was SO hard to choose--every single flavor was delicious!) to picking out the style (she gave expert guidance and really listened) to the rave reviews from our guests, it was fabulous! Gretchen is a true professional - she was extremely organized and well-prepared for our cake tasting at her house. We went in knowing what we wanted our cake to look like and she executed it perfectly and it tasted great (I'd definitely recommend the Strawberry Grand Marnier). Also, although we chose a simpler cake, we had the pleasure of seeing her more elaborate cakes - again, they looked perfect. She also has so many other wonderful flavors to choose from. Gretchen was extremely professional, and was very accommodating to our thoughts on the cake. She made choosing a style and design very easy, with many piping samples, cake samples, and tasting samples. I appreciated her different fondant and butter-cream choices.
